Love the coaster, but wait times are always way too long, so I am deducting two stars.

This was a great roller coaster! Kids as small as 39"could ride since the seats have their own individual lap bar. My four year old loves roller coasters but had only been on the junior coasters. She was so excited to go on a big one! She loved it so much we went on it twice! It does not go upside down but had plenty of falls and twists to make it really fun. Great ride. I get motion sick but I take bonine and went on this ride and I was fine. When you go to this park, do not soon this ride. Very fun!

Great ride. Great experience. Busy day but Dollywood is always a great time

Good family coaster at 39"min height requirement. Small kids might not like the fireworks "explosion" at crazy Charlie's but still a fun ride for all.

Fun ride for the whole family! My 6 year old daredevil LOVED it!

Pretty good but very JERKY. It's much smoother going backwards.

The rollercoaster itself was fun but we waited in line for nearly 3 hrs (no joke) and the ride is short. The backward portion was great though. I did like the history surrounding it though. Once you made it closer to the actual coaster there were relics of old firestations and firemen.

More of a children's coaster, but actually pretty fun for adults too. Good coaster.

It's a fun ride at Dollywood. Like the park always have fun

By far my personal favoirite ride in the park it's not jerky either but the backwards part were you cant see what's coming is the scarriest

OMG I love this ride! Very fun and not even that scary. It starts out fast has some loops doesn't go down real far. Good for kids and adults. So fun I wanted to ride again but I couldn't since the line was long! Therefore, if your at Dollywood and not into the extreme roller coasters and wanna try out something mildish then ride the Firechaser Express!!!

The Best coaster I have ever been on I went on it 4 times. My 6 year old cousin when in this ride and loved it ,good for all age groups

This is one of the best "family friendly" Rollercoasters in the park. It has fire, fun and some excitement! All without being over the top, it is fun if you are 3 or 93... Dollywood should be very proud of this ride!

Fun ride for a presumably kids ride. I enjoy it as much as my daughter!

For my first roller coaster, I absolutely loved it. In some parts it pulls you up then immediately sucks you down, which makes you feel like you're free falling. It will probably be boring for extreme adrenaline junkies though.

No idea on wait time so the 2m 12s ride had us wait 1.5 hours. Ride was very good for the little ones

This is a fun family coaster, and one of the best examples of one around. The fact that it is a pretty slow coaster, but incorporates two low speed launches, one in reverse is very unique. The theme of the ride is outstanding! The "Show" towards the end of the ride is funny and cute, and it does add a bit of a thrill to the ride, and explains why the ride goes in reverse. My only real issues with this ride is the wait time. Due to the fact that the ride goes forward and backwards, and begins and ends at the same spot, makes for a very long load an unload time. If your an adrenaline junkie, and you have to skip ONE ride at Dollywood, this is the one I would skip. If your with your young children, and they are looking for something bigger than the wacky worm coaster, it is well worth the wait time for them.

It wasn't our favorite ride but it was definitely a good one.

I hadn't been back to Dollywood since it was Built this Ride was so worth waiting to Ride,,,,,,hope it gets well Taken care of some of there other steel coasters have gotten real Rough

A nice roller coaster, considerably slower than the others at Dollywood. Good for younger kids wanting to try their first big coaster.

The best ride...especially when it goes backwards!!!

Oldie but a goodie. This one has held up surprisingly well. It's fun for smaller kids.

This is my daughter's favorite ride here. And it has a surprisingly low minimum height.

One of the best kids ride to be had anywhere in the country. Even as an adult it's fun.

Really fun, thought it was gonna be a take kids coaster because of the low height requirements, but it was pretty fast and really fun. The end makes it worth it, you get shot backwards out of a little barn really quick

It's a good ride, but whatever you do don't run. We rode the ride 3 times, it was very empty so we ran back up to ride again. Before we could get to the ride 3rd time, "Brittany" stopped me and the other 5 people with me, and in a very rude and nasty way told us, that if we ran again we would have to walk to the exit. There are NO signs posted and no 1st warning given, if there was a warning and we ignored it, I could understand her acting like she did, but there wasn't. She very much ruined the rest of the day for me and the kids I was watching.

The best family coaster in the world... if you have kids with you, TAKE THEM ON THIS. It is a great introduction to big coasters for them! It features two super forceful launches that zip you forwards and backwards, as well as a seven story lift hill and a winding course down the hill. It's a ride that will make everyone smile and want to get on again! Also, thank the ride op crew for having AMAZINGLY fast dispatches! They are awesome just like this ride.

Very good ride fun and worth any wait but usually the wait is short

A good roller coaster 4 starting out younger kids and still exciting for the adult. It has a forward lunch at the start then they normal chain Hill Climb, then towards the end of the ride there's a backwards launch it takes you back to the beginning

My smaller, young daughters, 4 and 6, really liked it!

One of the best roller coasters in Dollywood and my 3 year old can ride it.

I rode this ride and it was better the second time. THEY USE REAL FIRE AND IT WAS FREAKEN AWSOME

Great ride with surprise. The ride seems harmless from the outside. Again, the construction pays off on the mountain. The Ride looks harmless at first glance, but makes you feel right at the beginning that it is wild. Partly very high, yet built for the whole family. At the end there is a little surprise. The ride is worth several times.

For my first time ever riding a coaster it was amazing. It was really scary but not too extreme. However, the line was really long and the service could be better.

Good thrilling themed coaster... but the wait is always too long. The last part of the ride switches and goes in REVERSE!

This is SUCH a great coaster for kids! My 4 year old absolutely loves it! It's a great coaster for adults too!

Nice, mild coaster. I can see why people are saying that this is a good one to introduce kids to rollercoasters - it's tame enough for kids, but exciting enough to make adults smile.

I love the Fire chaser and I would recommend it to anyone that likes roller coasters with out loop's and on take off brace yourself for a little jerk and then when you go backwards hang on its a great ride .

Good easy coaster. Somewhat gentle and the backward part is a lot of fun.

this ride is a great family coaster. there are no big drops and you go backwards. the line is pretty long when the park is remotely busy, but I would say the wait is worth it. the ride is about 2-3 minutes and there's real fire involved. I would say 10/10 recommend
