We made a special trip to Brandy s Hallmark store because our coupon expired that day. The coupon stated buy one card and get another free up to a $3.99 value. We specifically picked two cards that were $3.99 planning to get one no charge. We bought numerous additional cards, some priced at $0.99, and spent over $24.00 total. After leaving, we looked at the receipt and noticed we only received $0.99 credit (the least expensive card). We returned to ask why, the young clerks said that s the way we always do it . The clerks called & texted their manager/store owner to get clarification on store policy, but received no response. Had we been informed at checkout about always picking the cheapest card for the coupon, we would have obviously split our order and checked out separately to take advantage of the full coupon value. (Understandably if we only bought two cards, then the lowest cost card would make sense.) We ve bought lots of cards at this store, so are consistent good customers. Unfortunately this type of policy makes us hesitant to shop here again.

Great selection, it sure beats looking for cards in the grocery store or Walmart. The customer service is always very friendly.

If you can go to a different Hallmark store I highly recommend it. The staff here are very rude towards customers and they completely ignore the Hallmark rewards system. If you buy it from them it's like maybe they're keeping the rewards points themselves because your account sure won't get them

Linda stated the owner, Sandy, wouldn't honor a $20 reward certificate (which is like cash that was earned by spending at hallmark) with a 20% off coupon. Both the coupon and the certificate did not state they couldn't be combined with the other, which Linda and I believe Nancy did not care about. They were more scared of the owner than caring about what the coupon stated. The main point is to reward loyal customers...this store has lost future business and a forewarning to anyone coming to this location. Bottomline, bad business acumen. I hope, if that is the owner's policy, she rethinks it because it's not retaining or gaining more business.
