A friend and I went to The Buffalo Chophouse the other day. Our waiter, Matt was awesome, but I was underwhelmed with the food. My friend and I shared the 20 oz. Delmonico, the caesar salad, the chophouse salad, the fries, the au gratin potatoes, the brussel sprouts and the chocolate lava cake. I'd have to say that for the price they charge, NONE of it was anything very special in my opinion. The steak was overwhelmed by the blue cheese butter, the salads where nothing different than you can get anywhere, I've actually had better au gratin potatoes and I didn't care for the brussel sprouts at all. The chocolate lava cake with ice cream was good, but nothing special and it was tiny. I got the curiosity of the Buffalo Chophouse out of my system and won't be going back.

Service and ambience were good, steaks (and lamb) were not. Unimpressed and disappointed. The seasoning used on the meat was way to peppery and cuts didn t seem high quality. With that being said, sides and apps were delicious. Overall, I was disappointed because I expected a lot more from this place and left feeling underwhelmed.

Buffalo Chophouse have always been a great place. Great food, nice ambiance. But the waiter Gino or 25 Gino really upset my customer bad attitude. Do not fit with the restaurant. Other than that I highly recommend Buffalo chophouse

Was thinking about taking my wife here for her first time on her birthday, but after seeing how they treated another person on their birthday we will go to Russell's where they know how to treat their guest!!

Wonderful fine dining experience. Went early in the evening which provided a quiet atmosphere to celebrate wife's retirement. Meal was superb as expected. Steak was done to order perfectly. Lamb was a bit too rare for the wife but the flavors were there. Would have received a 5 star rating had the lamb been done perfectly and having had reservations the waiter had greeted us by name as many fine dining restaurants do. Waiter's service was 100% with everything else.

Medium double 8 oz. Lamb , charred outside with a lot of pepper, too hard to slice and cut. A bit salty, don't worth the price though the appetizer taste good( 2 lobster bodies and 6 lobster legs for 4 people???). Our table is just next to the reception, no a good location for dinner, there's a second floor but we're not lead to settle on the upper floor. One of us don't even have his plate for bread and the butter knife when we're settled. Service worth 3 stars and food for 2.

Meal priced overall almost $300 USD for 4, really don't worth

Staying at Curtiss hotel which is very good. They offered a $25 off coupon at Chophouse (which they own). Made a reservation for 8:30pm. Arrived at 8:10pm. Asked to be seated in main dining room. They tried to seat me in bar 4 times (hostess bordered on rude). Kindly requested again a table in main dinning room upstairs. At 8:40pm a couple came in, and was seated upstairs immediately. Must have been VIPs. I left. Thankfully, lots of good restaurants down the street. See my 5 Bacchus review. Shame. Would have sent plenty of groups to a good steakhouse. Now know why they need to coupon to get business.

We had an awesome waiter from Budapest, very entertaining! Service was excellent meal was amazing. I had the lamb chops oh so delicious. My husband had the filet mignon and it was tender and delicious melts in your mouth. The sides brussel sprouts, asparagus and french fries were excellent as well. The miles high chocolate cake was truly awesome! Definitely going back!

The meal was great with a really attentive service from the waitress. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the fact that the bus boy who packed our food in the take out container lacked competence since both containers opened on our walk back to the hotel. It wouldn t have been so bad if he hadn t bragged about his packing skills. But he did and it kind of left a sour note and a bit of a mess.

Rudest owner of this establishment I've ever met. We parked in front of her restaurant in legal parking spots with a concrete stopper on the spot. Shortly after getting out the car she stops her car and proceeds to tell us we need to move off her grease grates that we are not supposed to be parking on her grates. If you looked at ur parking lot instead of barking at two young women like an old hag you would of noticed we were in the last spot next to your grates. You could of handled that much better like a professional business owner in a friendly and polite Manner instead of the unnecessary uncalled for foul attitude. And judging by the manner in which you handled that situation I can only imagine your customer service skills. This place won't be open to long with that bitter woman in charge. Take your establishment back up North

Absolutely amazing in every way. We were seated promptly upon arrival. Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. She explained the menu well and made some excellent recommendations. We split a bottle of Chardonnay, which was perfectly chilled and serve so graciously. We forewent apps, because the food is generously portioned. I got the veal and my date got the dry age NY strip. We also got the mashed potatoes and the brussel sprouts. Both cuts of meat were cooked to perfection. The brussel sprouts were out of this world good. You definitely won't get out of here without paying a pretty penny for it, but every single thing you get is well worth the price.

The food was cooked to perfection and the staff was amazing. They knew how to pace your course, instead of just dropping all of your food off at the table at one time. The steak I had was juicy and tender down to the last bite.

No buddy does it better! You ll leave saying its the best steak you ve ever had. This is the place to go no matter the occasion. Buffalo Chophouse knocks it out of the park every time. Go, enjoy and see for yourself and then take whoever you want to impress the next time you go.

Dry ahead perfection. Every time. We love this place for steak and go there several times a year. You cannot beat their beef program. A classic steakhouse in every sense of the word. Happy Christmas to us.

No valet due to Covid, not an issue. Getting greeted at door from host wasn't the best, girl did not seem welcoming or very nice and she sat us by the ac vent on second floor which was freezing. Waiter was great and his service was as well. Lobster tail and filet were great. Steaks are heavily seasoned and broiled, don't really need the special butters. Rolls were great and sides were heaping portions enough to have leftovers. Overall, great experience but would not visit frequently. Plus, not necessary to have 3 managers walking around asking how you're food is when your waiter already does that. 4 stars, enjoy!

Best meal ever!!! My boyfriend and I went here for my birthday and had an excellent meal. I had the 8oz filet mignon and he had the twin port chops. Both were tender and cooked exactly as ordered. We also had the au gratin potatoes and I could have eaten the whole order which is easily enough for at least 3 people! They were the cheesiest creamiest au gratin taters I've ever had. Our server Meghan was phenomenal very attentive and eager to please. She's very knowledgeable, friendly and pleasant. Hopefully she'll still be working there when we return. And the general manager Nick Schneider met us like we were old friends and saw to our every need going above and beyond in making sure our birthday celebration was perfect in every way. Thank you to all who in any way made our dining experience the best ever!!

After all the reviews and hype I expected better. Service was good, and they accommodated myself and my baby (I called first to ask if it would be a problem).

The food was well sized, but normally when I pay over $100 a person, I may not want to do it frequently, but I definitely want to go back. I did not feel that way here. Nothing was bad, but nothing wowed me either.

Would rate higher if the meals cost less, hut for the price, I just don't see the value.

I ate the best steak I ever had at The Chophouse! We celebrated our anniversary and friend's birthdays last month. It was a wonderful evening and our server, Janos was excellent! Everything was top notch! Would definitely go back for more celebrations!

This place was in a single word phenomenal. This decor is upscale and beautiful. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive to our needs. All the staff was courteous.. Now the food. The Delmonico was a big thick slice of heaven! Their own seasoning, cooked to perfection. Potatoes Au Gratin side and Calamari and Peppers appetizer were indeed excellent.

As far as prices go, it's expensive but at the same time within reason for a top of the line steak house. Yes we will go again, and yes I recommend this establishment and already have. Good location too if you're going to Shea's Theater for a show, it's right across the street.

first time there, tables so close you cant conversate, like a cafeteria, and my delmonico steak tasted like an old venison buck, just disgusting, when the black coat came by to ask how the food was i told him my steak was terrible, he replied "il tell the kitchen" and walked away quickly, then no mention of it or offer to compensate for this disgusting uneaten 65 dollar steak, bill comes at 200, im like for what? 2 steaks and a small bowl of watery mashed potatoes? THIS PLACE IS A PRETENTIOUS SCAM HOUSE, BUFFALO SCAM HOUSE

I have eaten at the Buffalo Chophouse several time...

I have eaten at the Buffalo Chophouse several times, and my most recent visit will be my last. My husband and I went out for dinner on Fri. Feb. 13th 2015. The place was crowded, my waitor was fantastic. In fact, all of the staff were absolutely great. We ordered oysters as an appetizer. They were delicious. Our meal consisted of the Porterhouse cut for 2. This was a $95 piece of meat, which we ordered medium rare. We received our meat, BLUE, or COLD in the middle. It was raw. It was also already sliced which cooled the meat faster than we were able to eat it. Because they were already sliced, refiring the steak wasn't successful in correcting the problem, either because the meat was returned to us, charred on both sides. The Porterhouse was over salted, as were the mushrooms that accompanied them. As a side, we had crab macaroni and cheese, that was also very heavy handed on the salt and the old bay seasoning. The aspragus was cooked perfectly. All in all, I do expect to enjoy my meal very much when I spend over $200 on a dinner. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. As I mentioned earlier, this was NOT my first time eating at the Chophouse, and all previous meals had been fantastic. This last time left us very disappointed.

Had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The bartender Mickey was so friendly and made very good whiskey sours. Our Hungarian waiter, we forgot his name was so polite and was there every time we needed him. The food was delicious and made just right. We had lobster and steak, very good. Thank you to everyone for a nice experience and we will be back.
