Very disappointed by the services and outcome of using this firm.

Poor communication from the recruiters, they rarely answer phone calls or respond to emails. The owner is not a person you can work with. This was my worst customer service experience.

I had the pleasure of working with Jacob Strauss throughout my interviewing process. He gave me plenty of information about the position and supported me throughout with plenty of updates and informational content to help me be successful in the interview. Really appreciate your hard work and assistance throughout!

Their people lack the skills and expertise. They need to better talent to hire skilled people or invest in training people. Miscommunication is also a problem with them and lack of coordination.

This recruitment company has been leaving countless voicemails on my work number requesting that I use their recruitment services. It is very frustrating coming into 5-6 voicemails every week from them. If they are that desperate for business, I think they should try a new approach. In a week or two, I will be contacting the Attorney General or the FTC to file complaints.

No response from company after attempting to contact multiple times.

Management is poor. It is composed of people who judge employees based on their appearance and not on their performance. Most managers are very unprofessional, and it feels like they don't really deserve their positions.

Jennifer Murphy is the best. Going above and beyond to help.

Get the lawyers to look over any paperwork they ask you to sign. These people are very shady and don't stick to their words. I regret trusting them for my human resources needs.

Great Communications, locates positions that not only supports your current experience but also allows for growth. What I appreciated the most was Sarah Griffis. Sarah was honest, patient, answered questions/concerns timely and was knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to work with Sarah and really advocated for ME.

Working with Angelo was a dream! He was on top of everything, excellent follow up, and he made my transition seamless. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience. Perfect process. Easy to follow steps and instructions from application to interviewing to hiring.

We had a lot more problems letting them hire people for us. They don't properly coordinate with us and the requirements that we needed. They sent us the people who I think has been there for some time waiting for a job placement. Doesn't matter if they fit in the job and the skill set required.

Contractors are usually left clueless with regard to everything. About the job placement, location etc. You only get informed when they already need you on that same day. Then you will be accused of not knowing anything when you weren't even informed in the first place.

I was disappointed with StraussGroup because I thought that they'd actually help me find a job placement. However, after paying them, it got difficult to contact them. No matter how many follow ups I make, I still haven't received any update from them. Such a waste of money and my precious time.

Poor experience with the owner. I believe his name is Randy. He used very convoluted terms in the agreement of our search for new talent for our team. We paid to activate the search and received nothing in return. No responses have been received to our inquiries about a refund.

Alyssa Londono was absolutely awesome! I originally made the job application in February and she consistently followed up with me and NVR until she got me the interview. I finally got an interview the 2nd week of April and I was hired! She was professional, punctual, consistent and so sweet. I recommend her highly!

Loved working with Jake at StraussGroup. He was very attentive to my needs and made sure to help me throughout the process. Would use again.

I Hate the Experience of Working Here

I hate the experience of working here. Managers will micromanage you to the point that you'll feel like a crime suspect. I have no clue why any company micromanage its employees. It's never a good thing and often negatively affects the employees. It adds unnecessary mental stress to the already stressful work. Furthermore, employees lack benefits. Also, management is selfish and unprofessional.

StraussGroup perhaps are so busy that they cannot keep appointments to callback potential candidates that are looking for work. In this day and age, it is unacceptable. They don't answer emails and don't phone back when they say they will. Very unprofessional and waste of time.

Shaniel was a pleasure to work with. She kept in constant contact and addressed all my questions in timely manner. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would contact her again in the should a career change be needed in the future. I would refer anyone to her with confidence. She is an asset to your company and a true professional.

I was contacted by a consultant who informed me about an opportunity for a senior role. The opportunity seemed interesting. I was happy to proceed. After submitting my resume, it took a month to get confirmed that their client is interested in meeting me, however the date of the interview couldn't be confirmed. Two months have passed and I didn't hear back from them regarding the role. My emails have been consistently ignored and communicating with them is like sending messages to outer space.

Their people don't have the proper skills necessary for the job. They are not properly trained for the job, even with the most basic work ethics.

Jacob Strauss is fake. He seems to be too sweet during the interview process, but later, he can barely remember your name. Do not be trapped by his sweet words. I am sure everything he does is fake.

They are very picky and requires too many documents, certifications, and other qualifications. But once accepted, they let you wait for long for and offer that is not even worth everything you went through including your time.

You thought everything is working well for you. But then after a few months into the contract, you start noticing what's missing and the miscommunication.

They were very professional and got me in the door for a great job that I wasn't even looking for! Truly excellent to work with. My thanks to Sydney!

Awful experience working with Emily Pomaski, don't waste your time. She won't return your calls or emails. When you finally get ahold of her, she is rude and unwilling to help.

Shaniel was amazing to work with. She was in contact with me every step of the way and made sure all of my questions were answered. It was really nice having a third party to go to that had access to information about the hiring process for the company and where I stood at each point. Ultimately, I secured a job with an amazing company and had a wonderful experience with StraussGroup.

Like other reviewers, I also agree that their communication is bad. I lost a good job opportunity due to this poor communication. Not recommended that you trust them!

I had a wonderful experience with StraussGroup. The consultant I worked with was very knowledgeable and helpful. Although I didn t get the job I wanted, I will likely use StraussGroup again.

My friend recommended me to this company at the same time he was applying for jobs. We ended up having the same recruiter which I won t mention. She didn t email me in a timely fashion and didn t answer answer any questions I had. My friend is embarrassed for even referring me.

I was in contact with Emily Pomaski about a position. I wasn't able to finish one portion of my application process because I had to have emergency surgery. I tried contacting her multiple times and she isn't even professional enough to respond. I have since applied for other positions and I'm guess they are going through her and now I am not hearing back from anyone.

Working at StraussGroup is an absolute joy. From the open and sunny office to the people who work there, it is an overwhelmingly positive atmosphere.

The family-like dynamic of the team has makes it a very comfortable place, and that is thanks to the owner/our fearless leader, Randy Strauss. Randy leads by example and demonstrates to his employees every day that it's important to do the right thing, even when no one is looking. He is extremely hardworking and will always make time to help, whether it's with his employees, a client, or a candidate.

Coming into this company, I was so happy to see how the recruiters here treat everyone like they would want to be treated themselves. Everyone has a great level of respect for every person they speak to, no matter what level they are at.

StraussGroup is a company that knows how to treat people like PEOPLE. Especially in this day and age where so many people have lost their jobs, that is so important. We talk to people on a daily basis that are hoping we can help them, and although it's impossible to help every person, at the very least we make sure that every person feels that they were treated with kindness and respect.

I highly recommend StraussGroup as an employer, and as a search firm!
