Great place to spend the night. Everyone there is so kind. You have a Walmart really near if you need to buy some stuff. Pool is open all the day if you want to swim. Rooms are really comfortable. Worth it

The hotel looks very much out of date. Most fixture needs reconditioning and refurbishing. There are a lot deteriorating processes going on. We pay more than $80 per night and it is one of my most disappointing moments with Holiday Inn Bozeman on 5 East Baxter Lane.

I recently traveled through Bozeman as part of a 12 state journey across the US. After I arrived back home to Kentucky, more than 9 days after checking out of this Holiday Inn, I realized I had lost a diamond ring (white gold band with 3 rows of diamonds). After tracing my steps, I knew I had left it on the bed at the hotel. I called the hotel, (again, this was more than 9 days later) and Lisa from the front desk said she would ask Housekeeping whether they found a ring, but was not hopeful as lost and found items are typically submitted to the front desk promptly. Discouraged, I went ahead and submitted a claim for the ring with my insurance company who estimated the value of the ring to be $2550.00 The next morning, about 24 hours later, Lisa called me to say she had found my ring!! She had personally searched through the laundry baskets and found my ring at the very bottom. The ring had been collected with the dirty linen of my room and put in the bin. Because of its weight, it sifted out of the linens and fell to the bottom of the basket without anyone noticing. Ten days later, the ring was still in the bin!!! Lisa went out of her way to not only search for the ring, but assured me she would personally go to the UPS store afterwork and ship the ring back to me. I cannot say enough about the integrity and helpfulness of the staff at the Holiday Inn. I've shared this story with everyone around me, and each said, "Wow! There are great people in this world!" I agree.

No breakfast is offered not even so much as free coffee restaurant that's in the hotel it's pretty expensive so is the bar the staff comes off as a little on the cool side. The only redeeming factor of the beds pretty comfy and the room is quite clean.

While Holiday Inn is currently running commercials...

While Holiday Inn is currently running commercials about re-branding their image we thought we would give them a try on our recent vacation to Bozeman, MT visiting family.
This property is not a place we would stay at again or recommend to anyone. There was mold in the room on the ceiling above the window. The carpet in the room (and hallways) was soiled. We stayed for 5 nights. On our last day at the property we left the room before 9:00 a.m. and returned after 9:00 p.m. Upon our return we walked into a room with the beds a mess and the bathroom towels on the floor. The room had not been serviced the entire day. When the beds were made (the previous days), they were done sloppy. Like it was rushed.
The beds were uncomfortable (sinking to the center). Was not able to get a good night's rest.
If this property is a reflection of the current advertisement of Holiday Inn's re-branding, it is likely we will not stay at another Holiday Inn property. There are many other establishments to select from with better accommodations for the value.

One of the cheapest Pet Friendly hotels in the area. The rooms felt clean and had a comfortable bed. The hotel is fairly dated and could use some fresh air blown through it. It also does not have an elevator (which blows my mind these days). Also no free breakfast (there is a Holiday Express in the area that does; though I don't know the price difference). We were not notified of the road construction which was a tad confusing at first. The worst part is that the website double booked us when we made the reservation. It took a few days, but the matter was resolved. We were notified by our credit card company, not the hotel about the issue.

The staff is overly friendly and helpful
Much better than what you expect at a Holiday Inn. With that being said the property needs an update and both rooms and common areas are clean but old and dated. Rooms are a bit pricey for what you get but, located in a tourist trap.

I was only there for a quick overnight, but my stay was pleasant. Front desk clerk was sweet, parking was convenient. The only negative part was that my room was located right next to an entrance, so there was quite a bit of noise.

Don't waste your time. Flew up from AZ to join family for Easter. Parents made reservations for us for Brunch, and what a disorganized mess. Reservations werepointless, and once you were in it was 45 mins to wait in the single file line. Instead of spread out stations. Got out of line just to pay 28.00 for a Coke

The room was clean and comfortable. I liked that the shower head was higher than most, but there was mildew on the ceiling of the shower. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was no continental breakfast included, but the food in the restaurant was very good.

No ELEVATOR! The staffs are very nice and they would gladly assist you with your bags, but still, no elevator is a little...much.
The hotel is within 5 minute walk to Walmart super center so that is very convenient. 15 minute drive from the Airport and beautiful view of the Baldy mountain all the way.
Rooms are ok, cabin style set up vi definitely an older hotel. It's definitely NO more than 3 stars. Cute layout and nice fitness center with indoor pool.

This is a cozy hotel. The staff is very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shuttle will take you downtown and pick you up for free, but I suggest at least a $5 tip to the driver since an Uber is about $8 to go downtown. There is no elevator, but there are only two floors. The hotel might be haunted. Room 220 is a suspected room for that, so you may want to request that room for fun. I'm not sure if it's all of Bozeman or specifically just this hotel, but the air is really dry, especially if the heaters are on. I suggest loading up with lotion or oil before you go to bed.

Horrible. Door didn t shut completely, high prices for old hotel, no breakfast without voucher but upon reservations, no one unformed that you needed to get a voucher prior to staying. Overall I would never stay there again!

One word to describe this place: DUMP. This hotel is a disgrace to the holiday inn brand. Once you pass the lobby it looks like you are walking into a third world hostel. One of those places where you ask yourself if you are going to catch bed bugs. Extremely outdated, straight out of 1970. 0/5 stars. Holiday Inn should be ashamed that there name is attached to this place.

No elevator, made it difficult for me carry my suitcase and the stairs were very far from my room, 8 months pregnant and I m hauling things up stairs. This would not be a safe place for someone with small children, especially if there was an emergency. Also, ironing board colapsed without warning, iron landed on my foot! (Thank goodness it didn t happen to one of my kids). Not a great way to start a morning, with a broken toe. Told the front desk, they were less than concerned. Checked out early because of the pain and swelling, just needed to get home. They would NOT refund my additional night, even though it was early enough to re-book my room. This place was a pain, literally. Don t stay here.

The facilities were all decent enough; they were nice and clean. The layout of the hotel, however, was quite inconvenient. Being a large rectangular loop with an unnecessary, unused, and a rather ugly court yard in the middle. Get the wrong room and you'll have to deal with extremely circuitous walking just to get to the fitness room or lobby. With only two stories, they obviously made it as wide as possible to fit more rooms. But I guess there's nothing to be done with the layout, besides total reconstruction. Overall it's a clean and comfortable hotel; no more, no less.

The building and rooms were very dated. Could use an update for sure. It did have a lounge with gaming machines and a swimming pool...that I never used. Just pretty much rested my head here. The Wi-Fi did not work and even called front desk with no luck! Also tried to call front desk for wake up call but no one answered. It was just ok. If probably stay at Holiday Inn Express if I were to book in Bozeman again which I most likely will again this summer.

Nice entrance, the rest is obsolete.

Nice entrance, the rest is obsolete.
The hotel offer a bar and a restaurant inside the premises.
On two floors, the may need an elevator, stairs smells and they are not for caring heavy luggages

True review.

True review.

Staff is nice and caring. Gave us everything we could ask for and then some. So staff is 5 out of 5.

Facilities are more like a 2 star.

Courtyard is gross at best. Grill was like. Can I really cook on this it was in such bad shape... work out center is upstairs at pool and is like 90 percent humidity.

Roof leaked in our room so thats cool. Facility has a lot of deferred maintenance.

Photos seemed deceiving on line. I might suggest another facility to a person traveling with their family or spouse if they wanted anything more then a bed and shelter.

We found the holiday inn to be rather grubby during our stay. Hallways needed to be cleaned, room floor was stained in many places and didn't seem particularly clean, waste from previous occupant left in bath room. Overall, not impressed. And to top it all, they left our room door open following "cleaning"while we were out during the day. Not good

Made my stay convenient! Others wouldnt give me an extended stay rate but they did regardless of the butchering rates during this tourist season! I would recommend for extended stays and the room service is definitely a plus!

First of all, I work in hospitality so I know first hand what to expect... Go stay at the Candlewood or Super 8 across the street- they're actually much much better!!
So you walk into this big beautiful, cozy lobby. Fireplace going, nice and quiet. But the front desk agent, older woman, was very rude, short and cold. My husband and I were on our cross country honeymoon road trip and he had called ahead of time to surprise me with an upgrade and was told he'd be getting some food and drink vouchers. The front desk agent didn't seem to give any care and lazily slid a small coupon for the on-site restaurant upon extra request. The hotel was obviously busy but almost no one was in the restaurant so we thought, "cool, at least it's quiet". Well it's no wonder, the food was at least warmed up- in the microwave and the potatoes my husband ordered still held the shape of the plastic sandwich bag they were prepped in. As a chef/hotel worker for a decade, all I can say is WOW. Disappointed. Then you get to the hallway to the rooms, stairs included, the rest of the hotel looks like a creepy prison hospital. Dingy lighting, very dirty stairwell and the room guys... There were obviously over 8 pubic hairs in the tub (nasty and which would fail an inspection immediately), the hair dryer wrapped around the adapter plugged into the wall (fire hazard) and blood on the sheets (biohazard). Come on Holiday, you are not living up to IHG standards /:

Our first room smelled of stale cigarettes and the carpet was full of pet stains. They moved us four doors down when i complained. No cigarette smell but lots of gross carpet stains. I was also not pleased that $170 a night did not include breakfast. Every other Holiday Inn I stay at includes breakfast. Won t be staying at this was particular HI again.
