Many of the UPS Stores are reliable. This one is not. A lot of the staff is either new or untrained and they are not familiar with how UPS routes it packages. Try one of the stores on the east side.

Requires you to wear a mask inside, Wouldn't let me pick up my masks from amazon because I don't have a face mask. Not to mention also the new manager is horrible and is not nice to customers. Going to cancel my PO box and report the package stolen with amazon as they wont let me pick it up.

Jacked up ripoff!

Jacked up ripoff!

Trying to ship a package, need a box, tape, shipping. Simple stuff. Five bucks for the box, ok, on the high side, but I get it; cost of convenience.

Shipping? $54.95 for two day air. We're talking a one pound box from one metro area to another, continental US, $55.

USPS? $10

Later, UPS store. Hello, USPS.

Hands down, the WORST shipping store I have ever visited.

New management? I doubt it, as the staff is still rude. They messed up an international package shipping, did not call me to tell me it's been sitting in their location and then expect me to pay to ship again when their staff messed up the paper work.

If you're reading this, DO NOT go to this location. EVER. It will cost you time and money to use this location.

I have consistently received great customer support from a helpful staff at the Mercer Island store. I call into the store to find out if I have mail. I get emailed that I have packages. The people here are helpful and friendly and I am a very happy customer and will continue to utilize the services here as long as I am still living on the Island.

This place has terrible service. No one answers the phone, there are super slow long lines, and incompetent staff. When it was finally my turn, the staff there said they were new and cannot find my package. Now I'm waiting for the manager to contact me. I doubt they'll ever call me back. I tried calling the main number too, after multiple attempts, no one picks up.

Dear UPS corporate, you should probably check on your franchisee at this location and consider shutting it down.

This place is closed today before 5:30pm. Did not have a sign stating any reason for early closure. I saw employees inside the store and still won't open the door. The worst customer service, if there was a no star I would click on that. Won't be returning for any services.

Perhaps the WORST UPS store I have ever visited!!

UPS should be ashamed for not addressing the exceptionally poor customer service. Arrive at 9:55 AM - store posted opening time 10AM - manager opens at 10:10 with 6 people already waiting in line - all complaining about the poor service they receive at this UPS location!!

Greeted inside by wait I am not ready yet... PLEASE FIX this problem UPS - this is hurting your brand & ultimately your business.

People work in this UPS store do not care about their services. Refused to print my paid online print orders. Asked me to email them my documents directly and charged me 27% more than it was from official ups store print shop. I was in a hurry to get things done so I pulled out my cell phone and mailed them my documents in seconds. They gave me a feeling that someone wasn't turned away so they have to deal with it. This is just the worst of the worst UPS store you can possibly find within 50 miles radios if not 100.

Unprofessional and rude management. Susan who appeared to be the manager was extremely unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. She should not even be allowed to interact with the public. I would avoid this UPS, and hopefully it is closed down.

Eventually there will hopefully be enough complaints UPS will investigate. The manager is an incredibly poor example of customer service and constantly emanates a negative, downright scary vibe. One can only have pity for a person that lives in such a vacuum, and it's so sad to see how the employees are absolutely petrified but stuck there. No grace, and very distasteful, downright unprofessional environment. Interestingly, when I did some checking around with our franchisees, I learned that the reputation out there is particularly, and frighteningly bad. In a post-Covid world with high unemployment these types of managers will find themselves in a world of regret. There are so many kind, knowledgeable, and truly effective people that will thankfully come into these positions.

Very disappointed in my experience here. For the record, I interacted with the owner during this. I had a part to a gun that needed to be shipped back. Mind you, it wasn't a fully loaded or even a whole firearm, it was a part. The woman behind the counter flat out told me that she doesn't support shipping gun parts. Additionally, I tried to buy a box from her after finding out her ideals were being tested and she REFUSED to sell it to me. Pretty sure that ISN'T UPS POLICY. You can have your opinion about guns, but honestly, that's a personal thing. Mixing business and personal doesn't work out. If you are a gun owner I hope you read my experience and decide for yourself if you want to support someone who lets their beliefs get in the way of their business.

Loving the new management made a huge turnaround with their customer service. I ve always loved how the UPS store has helped small businesses like myself from packagkng to business cards to personal shopments. Give this establishment a second chance they are obviously trying to improve their business. Way to go!!!!

Went to return an amazon package. Took it out of the package which was quite small, and asked if I could throw away the packaging. The unmotivated teenager/20 year old responded 'we don't have one of those' and stared at me. Apparently, this UPS store has no trash receptacles...

The employees in this UPS store on Mercer Island is the most unfriendly, unkind, disrespectful and provides the worst customer service of any UPS stores I've ever ever dealt with. They love to use the phrase "we're not UPS, we are the middle man". If that's the case, then don't wear the UPS uniform or decorate the store to resemble the UPS company. The "REAL" UPS employees (drivers) are always friendly, helpful and just being dang nice and kind. Even if you are not UPS doesn't give you the right to be mean and unkind to customers. The manager of this store needs to be fired because it seems like providing poor customer service is their value. I would give them negative star; but, unfortunately, the worst option available is one star. They don't deserve any stars in my humble opinion.

I will NEVER set foot in that store again!! They should be shut down by UPS for the service they provide. I paid to have a NDA pkg delivered to them by 11am so it would not be stolen from my home. I called at 11:15 to see if had arrived I was told no they had not received any shipments yet today!!! I tracked the package and it was signed for the exact perso who I spoke with before Roa or something like that. He was so rude and unbelievably sarcastic that customers even offer their contact information for me to use when contacting UPS corporate as well as the franchise sales side of the business. I will use the Factoria store or Fed ex at this point. I still cannot believe my experience there.

Very poor customer service. Disinterested / rude personnel. I now actively avoid using this location, despite it being 5 miles closer to my home than the Bellevue location, but the extra 20 minutes in the car are worth it to avoid being treated poorly.

Under new management yet again as of Feb 2020 and ...

Under new management yet again as of Feb 2020 and it s not the same welcoming community store as it s been the last 9+ months. Very corporate feel and not friendly. I forgot tape so was happy to buy it (used to always have some lying around for customers use in such cases) and when I asked if I could please donate the tape I purchased to the customer work station I was not allowed you can see how that is not a good business model for us . This was my preferred mailing store but know if you go they ve gone strictly corporate on all matters. I asked if the store was under new ownership and they quipped no, you can see it s still a UPS store . So I corrected myself and said oh I mean management to which they replied curtly yes . It was just a snide way of responding. There were other issues but not enough space to relay them.

Horrible place. Terrible staff. One employee in particular refuses to serve me every time. It s humiliating. I stand there politely like every other customer, I am kind and quiet and I don t understand how someone could be so rude. I called the manager today asking if my mail would be sent three the system (the employee made me leave my envelope on the scale and leave) and she became defensive, accusing me of accusing her and the store of committing a federal crime or messing with my mail and that my questions don t sit well with her. Seriously unbelievable. Go to hell. I just want to send some mail.

Apparently the only person who can ship documents to central American only works part time, and not predictable hours. Staff desperately needs more training. It is probably ok for very basic services, but for anything unusual I can't recommend this location.

Pren was incredibly helpful with my odd request! The other gentleman that was working at the counter, looked like a manager was less helpful. While Pren was in the back helping package my item, he said some negative things about Pren to me and the line of customers behind me. It was incredibly unprofessional and I was appalled to see what appeared to be a manager be borderline verbally abusive to an employee in front of customers

I echo the sentiments of most other recent reviews. This is hands-down one of the most unfriendly retail establishments I have been to in recent history. When I first started coming months back, I thought that it may have simply been a bad day for the employee whom I engaged with. As time progressed, I interacted with the rest of the staff and watched endless interactions with other customers and can confirm that the entire staff is consistently snide and rude. On numerous occasions, I have watched them while waiting in line and I swear I see a small bit of delight come over them when they find a reason to be short or rude with someone. It s unfortunate that there are so many kind, knowledgeable people who are currently unemployed that would likely love to come into these positions.
