I chose the little known Ravensbourne due to their non-traditional style of teaching. I enjoyed the project-based approach and this won me over. I believe with more exposure and continuous improvement, the uni will make a mark. Highly recommend.

Few years. They transform the space into a very cool tech activism wonderland. Enjoyed the use of the lockers. The entrance is very welcoming and speaker stages are also quite nice.

Having attended in 2013 in the Graphic Design degree program, the instruction, to put it bluntly, TERRIBLE. They were underdeveloped, underwhelming and pretty much absent. You would be given a project and then you'd be off on your own on the same day of the briefing to figure and tinker with the required design software. When you ask for technical advice, I remember fondly one TA saying: "Oh, that's your job to find out!". Incredulous! So why the hell did I come here then only to not only feel like I'm there merely for a piece of paper, but to be trashed on because I asked someone with the experience to tell me how I do something?

Oh, and I bet these instructors swear like no tomorrow and even if you were to report their bullish behaviour to the higher department, they don't care and brush it off as if we should deal with it. Unprofessional instructors and cliquish immature students are abound here. The environment was too hostile for me and I'm glad I never continued here.

Nearly 30k and growing debt and all for a worthless education.

Ah, one more thing of note, an instructor whose name I will not specify but had at one time, took it too far. She had a very potty mouth day in and day out. Yeah, no kidding! The F-bomb and the like was her trademark. At one point, amidst high tension (primarily because of her existence) and jittering anxieties during a project presentation that ran the whole day, caused one of her students to run off and cry into despair after presenting her work all because of her critical and demeaning remarks that were just downright bullying. Disgusting. And no one did anything about it!

DON'T ATTEND. YOU'RE BETTER OFF AT MORE TRADITIONAL AND ESTABLISHED SCHOOLS.

I did a three year course Editing & Post Production. It's a BIG WASTE OF MONEY. Our course leaders were unhelpful and barely available, the university is overcrowded, because it's a small building and they are over accepting students. Only good thing about my three years was the social life. The actual University sucks donkey balls. Avoid it, save your money or go elsewhere like Bournemouth University.

My review might sound harsh, but it's just the honest truth. If you want to learn Editing just YouTube it.

This is a brilliant venue for conferences. It has a modern waiting area with a cafe outside and the conference room itself it's really huge with round tables and plug sockets.

But the thing I love most is the exterior of the building, which is a beautiful mosaic design. The articheture of the building is reason alone for going, but not only that - it's directly opposite the Millennium Dome.

Finding the car park is a bit of a nightmare but once you do it once you're fine and the college is only a short walk from it.

An amazing place to study. I did my Architecture bachelors at Ravensbourne. Thanks to Layton Reid for being a superb course director and his support over those three years. I have good memories of this place and I will definitely recommend Ravensbourne to prospective students. Many Thanks :)

Came here for an open day, and it seemed like a nice place. Standards seemed to be high, but no one seemed to have heard of this university. It's right next to the train station and O2, but when I asked locals for directions, no one had any idea what 'Ravensbourne Uni' was - when they were literally standing right next to it without knowing. The building and facilities were modern and clean, but it's not that well known. I think it's a new university. Overall - it was okay, from comparing it to other university open days and interviews I've gone to.

As you'd expect of a college focusing on design, it's a beautiful building inside and out, and a real contrast to the slightly corporate O2 and surrounding area. Inside, it's airy and innovatively designed to make the most of the space; lucky students!

I've completed my degree in 2019 here in which I can say that if you want a degree without learning anything then this is the place to be.

Tutors/lecturers are previous undergraduates without any knowledge on how to teach. Getting a degree doesn't qualify you as a lecturer/tutor automatically. I'd say 30% of the time theres class cancellation.

I had a tutor who missed my tutoring because he wanted to go have lunch with his son and didn't come back although it was within our class hours.

Another tutor just never turned up. He came for first few weeks and after that it was emails 20 mins into the class where he would say he can't make it.

Complaints to higher authorities didn't make a difference. I mean they're not even on the league table for majority of the courses.

They told us employment rate is above 90%... only 1 person got into the field of the course in our class.

Favouritism and being teachers pet gets you First Class degree. If you're not liked then good luck for getting pass 2:2.

If you're a bright student you'll survive.

Dissertation was a joke. Never got taught how to write it. Third year came and we had a new tutor for Dissertation, where she taught at universities. She felt sorry for us and said it is practically too late to teach you to your full potential, all this should of got taught before hand. Hats down to her for putting the effort in.

Had a tutor who literally read out a book and told us word to word on what will come up in the exam and if we write these certain points we will get 100% marks... whats the point of an exam and 'teaching'?

Tutors/lectures who had an experience background tend to leave after either first 6 months or a year. We always had someone new. Just heard news after news about tutors leaving due to poor management or internal affairs.

Lack of management, equipment and organisation.

Bottom line is:

"If you want a degree without gaining any knowledge this is the place to be"

This is a mixed one, when I studied here (2011-2014) the institution was very outstanding being one of the top design institutions around, but in recent years (2017 +) new leadership and new managements has sacked many good tutors and now the place is in shambles and has a loss of confidence from many staff, ex staffs and students.

Lack of organisation and equipment.. as a creative university I'm surprised they only have one small workshop to share with the Whole university; laser printers are always busy so no chance; also this uni does not provide free materials for project like middlesex university & UEL ,which is surprising again for a creative uni. Waste of money. Rubbish tutors with hardly any experience they have new tutors every few months. The grading system is A B C D E .. like college and school. And grades are very one sided as they are marked by the tutors. Time table always being amended with lectures being cancelled etc. Also very small always crowded have to borrow seats from other classes to get a seat .. btw this uni has NO class rooms to learn in.. its all open so its very loud; classes are divided by boards with wheels on them... : would not recommend it at all.
