I was shopping for a car for the past 3 months and Bountiful Mazda was able to get me the Nissan Xterra that I wanted! I worked with Tim, Matt, Debbie, and Nicole. They were super upfront and worked with all my needs! I did go online before going in and read some their reviews, and they do live up to all the great things that people are saying about them. They definitely have earned my business in the future.

I've been to a lot of different dealerships, looking at all different cars and by far my best experience was with Bountiful Mazda. They are an honest dealership. I loved working with Josh! Scotty, Scott, Bryton. They were all great to work with and I am very, very happy with my purchase.

I've had a few experiences here in the past 10 years and it's mostly been okay with the minor nuisance here and there. There are some great people here for sure. Recently, however, I've had an unsatisfying experience.

I bought a car here a few weeks ago. The car (2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring) is great and I love it. Test drove it in the mountains after purchase. Running great, looks good. The car buying experience was fine and there were some hiccups. I was told by the sales person that I could remove the Vehicle Theft Registration fee when it came time for that (because I didn't want it). After I agreed on the price of the car I was told by the finance guy that the VTR fee cannot be removed because "it comes preinstalled on the car." Had I known I couldn't remove it, I would have negotiated harder on the price of the car. Either communication was poor or I was lied to when I was told I could remove the fee. I ended up paying it, which I am disappointed about.

I negotiated for some work to be done on my car as part of the terms, like tire rotation (supposedly this gets done before they sell a used car but the front tires were significantly more worn than the rear tires at the time of purchase), scratch fixes. I was told I'd get a call to set up an appointment to get the work done, but it took a couple weeks before they called me. They did end up calling me, so there's that.

The appointment came and I took my car in. I was told it would be done by noon which surprised me because of the paint work that would need to be done. When it came back, the scratch fixes looked horrible. A touch-up paint kit was used and the paint work was uneven and bulbs out to the point where it looks as bad as the scratch did. I could have done the work myself. I brought up my concern with one of the service guys and he said it looked good, which I disagree with. I believe they hire outside help to come in and do paint work as necessary, which is perfectly acceptable, but if something looks terrible they should stick it out for the customer.

The service guy told me to talk to my sales person about what exactly was agreed upon. Last night I received the call and we talked and had some disagreements. I was told that I could talk to a sales manager about it and that I would receive a call maybe that night or the next morning, but there hasn't been a call yet. I asked for the scratch to be fixed, so I want it fixed.

Word to the wise, maybe don't negotiate terms with a car dealership that aren't numerical figures. I guess that was my mistake. Hopefully this will be behind me soon but I haven't been impressed. If it's any consolation, outwardly I have been treated with respect.

UPDATE:

I did end up getting a call and I brought my car in again. The dealership owner took a look at it and assured me that it could be repaired to my satisfaction, and it was. It took a day and they set me up with another car while mine was worked on.

The process wasn't as easy as I would have liked, but I'm satisfied with where things ended up and am glad the issue was resolved.

We met Joshua when we stopped by to look at a 2017 CPO CX-5 he was very friendly, informative and helpful. We left that day after the test drive to continue shopping around. We visited other Mazda dealerships and while they were all nice to us, the "helpfulness" went out the window. The disguised their sales tactics as them trying to be helpful but it was obvious. Josh on the other hand, knew I was shopping around for the CX-5 was honest about the pricing and was the ONLY salesman willing to get on the phone with me and explain leasing and answer my questions about the process. (1st time leasing, but i'm sure you get that) Every other dealer I called would say, "sure come on in and well tell you all about it" and when Id explain that I prefer talking on the phone about the process and avoid the drive if we weren't interested they would find another way to twist what they already said. Josh called me, answered all my questions, gave me answers to things I didn't know I needed to know and had me in my new 2019 CX-5 Reserve in 2 hours and out the door. Easiest car buying experience I've ever had.

This was a very pleasant experience especially in contrast to some of the other dealers that I'd visited earlier in the week. Their employees took the time to answer all of my questions (it was my first time buying from a dealer) and literally spent the whole day explaining the cars features as well as the pros and cons. And even helped me decide which features would work best for me. I never felt pressure from their reps and felt the value of my trade-in and purchase price of my Mazda were fair. I will be going back when I decide to service my current Mazda and eventually upgrade again in the future.

I can't say enough great things about this place. The staff is amazing and so helpful, the dealership is very nice and clean and my all around experience was phenomenal. Working with Dina, MJ, and Bryton has been a breeze. Dina was not pushy at all and she was very helpful in answering questions and making sure my husband and I were taken care of and got into the right vehicle. She also went out of her way to make sure that she had all the necessary paper work ready and finished for when we came in to make the time spent there as quick and easy as possible. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking to buy a new/used car, you won't be disappointed.

Bountiful Mazda was great to work with, but the best thing about the dealership is Josh! He was amazing to work with. Not pushy, but there when I had questions. He had already left for the day, but came back to the dealership and made sure the car was cleaned inside and out before I got there. He ended up staying at work many hours after he was scheduled, just to make sure we had all our questions answered and to help us through the purchasing process. He was very honest about the car and was patient as we made decisions. Thanks again Josh!

Bountiful Mazda service department is efficient, honest, well priced, and convinient. they like to work with their customers and they do a very good job with communication. Having worked with different dealerships and service departments in the past on different car brands, Bountiful Mazda ranks up high with the best of them. I currently drive 20 miles each way so that they and only they can service on my car.

I literally get a mild panic attack anytime I have to go to Bountiful Mazda.

I leased a CX-5 through Bmazda, and had a great experience with Tyler Flandro, who was absolutely sincere during the sale. After being involved in a car accident up Parley's Canyon and totaling that vehicle, Carl told me that if I came back in he would "take care of me and be sure to give me a good deal." I guess he meant that he would sell me a lemon for thousands more than it was worth and then tack on some useless warranties as well... Within a few months I had to replace the clutch, and have had multiple other problems with the vehicle that even Bmazda hasn't fixed. (It is a good thing I got the clutch replaced through MIDAS - a fantastic auto repair shop - because Bmazda was going to charge me $2,400 - which is $1,000 more than MIDAS charged.

All in all, Bmazda has done a wonderful job of screwing me out of A LOT of money. (Between initial car value and repairs that I've had to make, it is upwards of $8,000)

These "positive" reviews are bogus! No way on God's green Earth would I ever believe any sane person would have a good thing to say about Bountiful Mazda after the way I was treated. It was high pressure sales tactics and manipulation to outright lying to my face. How dare you treat people that way! And then the persistent phone calls and texts after I left asking me if I am going to buy from you? Not now not ever.

I purchased my 2016 Mazda6 new from Bountiful Mazda in 2015 and have been back regularly for oil changes, tire rotations, and manufacturer-recommended maintenance. Scott has always been my advocate each visit and insures that I am apprised of all work being done and recommendations to keep my Mazda in top condition. He is honest and sincere, and he always remembers my name each time I call or come in. I appreciate the personalized service I get at Bountiful Mazda and commend Scott on his excellent customer service.

FABULOUS! I loved every aspect of this place and all of their employees. Jake Hedberg was the person who sold me my new car. He was fantastic! Not at all your typical car salesman. He was very nice, honest, respectful and courteous. I also really enjoyed the person in the finance department, Debbie Olsen. She was so personable and made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. The facility is new, clean and a fun environment. I bought my last Mazda from them 10 years ago and had an incredible experience then as well. Although they are a good 35 miles from my house, I would drive there everyday over stepping into Freeway Mazda in Riverdale ever again! A huge thanks to all of the employees at Bountiful Mazda! My experience rocked and I will send everyone in the market for a new car there.

Bountiful Mazda's reputation seems well-earned. I had a painless experience ordering and then taking delivery of my 2019 MX-5 Miata here. Weston was a proper professional, staying in contact for literally several weeks before I finally decided to place an order rather than hope for dealer stock in the wasatch front. Delivery day was quick, F&I office was perfectly acceptable, and Weston gave me a great rundown on Mazda infotainment and features. The location and its latte machine are also pretty nice.

It's likely I'll return for service and certain accessories, given their reputation in those areas, too. In some alternate universe where I also need a Mazda cuteute or sedan, I'd also return here for that.

So I went to bountiful Mazda to get a problem with my speed 3 figured out. First they tell me it'll be $50 when it wasn't a standard problem it became $100 an hour labor time. After tearing apart the engine and still coming up with nothing they still charge me $500. Absolutely ridiculous, their service team clearly has no idea what they are doing.

Hands down the best car buying experience I've had. I went in on Saturday 11/15 with the intentions of just looking and possibly get a quote on a trade-in, I ended up trading in and getting a Mazda CX-5. Drew was very knowledgeable , made me feel comfortable, was not pushy and showed me cars that fit my needs. At no time did I feel that my needs weren't met, shown cars that were out of my price range/needs and at no time did I feel I was being taken advantage of. Even while I waited for paperwork I got to know a little about Drew and Rustin (who was also fantastic when he helped me). The day I picked up my car I was shown what ever button and feature was or did, Drew helped me sync my phone to my car and helped me set up service reminders so I didn't have to worry about forgetting. I drove off the lot 100% comfortable in my new car. Thanks so much for the experience, I would and will without a doubt recommend Drew Shumway with Bountiful Mazda for anyone interested in purchasing a new car.

My wife and I just recently purchased our new vehicle from Bountiful Mazda. We had a great experience and was able to find the right car for our family. We love the new fuel economy our new Skyactiv Mazda 3 is providing.

This review has been updated. We ended up having problems with our sunroof and had it sent to the shop on multiple occasions to fix. To be fair, the sunroof was an aftermarket sold in their shop and they did not charge us at all to have it repaired. I do remember shortly after I originally posted this, we got a template email that started with "Hello [NAME}" :)

He was very understanding and happy to bring me all of the information I requested and made sure I was comfortable. And kudos to Mazda and the design of the building. They attached my bumper with duct tape and when I went back in to have them actually attach it they broke my side mirror, made a half-assed attempt to fix it and then called me a liar when I provided proof that it looked different when I left it with them. My daughter has been working with Weston at Bountiful Mazda for about three weeks. She was in the middle of paperwork, working with the bank and had purchased a flight 2 weeks before to come and get the car. Over the weekend, she noticed the car was off the website, but was thinking it could possibly be because she was coming that week. She confirmed with Weston Tuesday afternoon that she was flying in Friday morning for the car. He texted her Wednesday morning and said the car had been sold. Texted. After 3 weeks of working with her. Didn t have the decency to call and explain anything. Just an awful experience with Bountiful Mazda. Can t be trusted! Very sad and disappointed in the way she was treated.

After debating fixing our car or getting a new one, we broke down near here and figured it wouldn't hurt to look. Joshua M. was incredibly helpful. We gave him our preferences and budget and he showed us different vehicles and helped us choose the right one. After a test drive and breakdown of cost, warranty, and services, we were signing and driving away. We are absolutley pleased with how everyone at Bountiful Mazda is friendly and looking out for the customer instead of commission, especially Joshua. We will definitely be coming here again should we have future vehicle needs.

One year later and no regrets. I purchased a vehicle a little over a year ago from bountiful Mazda and it has worked great for me since with no issues. The sales rep did everything they could to place me in the right vehicle for me with little to no pressure. It's only after seeing other people go through dealership nightmares do I realize how unique and special my experience was. I would definitely recommend Bountiful Mazda to anyone willing to listen.

Absolute WORST car company. After my spouse had chosen a car, we went around and talked to a few dealerships. When we ultimately came back to bountiful (because they sold our first car) we spoke to a man named Rocky who was extremely rude, called other car dealerships "liars" even though we had written proof from them of what they were offering. He made the whole experience so utterly awful that we left as fast as we could. While the sales person texted us after begging for us to come back and promising we would not have to talk to that man again, that is way too little too late and I suggest no one do business with such a terrible company.

I really liked everyone I worked with throughout the process. Very kind, very friendly, very informative. Buying a car for the first time, they were very good at being low pressure and making sure I got what I wanted. I wished the end of the process was a little smoother. I was unaware of the after process of adding on additional services which raised the monthly payment to more than I was originally quoted. Granted, you don't have to say yes to additional warranties but that is the only place where I felt pressured to spend more.

I stopped to have a key made for my 2012 Mazda 6 a...

I stopped to have a key made for my 2012 Mazda 6 and while there I asked if they were able to do the recall service for the airbag.
Not only did they have the recall parts in their inventory, they were able to get me right in and complete the service quickly.
I was treated very well by everyone there and enjoyed observing the rapport between employees while I waited in a clean comfortable waiting area.
I deffinetly prefer this dealership over the one in Murry and will choose to drive a few more miles and spend my money at Bountiful Mazda.
