My service adviser and his team kept me informed of the status of my repair and went out of their way to make sure the time without my car did not inconvenience me in any way. To accommodate my insane work schedule and a much needed vacation, they delivered not one but two cars to me so that I was not without transportation. This showed me they realized the inconvenience and were going to do everything possible to make sure their friend was taken care of. This is my 3rd BMW and all but one was serviced at Devon, the other at BMW of the Mainline. At Mainline, I felt like a disruption to their day when I entered the service department. At Devon, I feel like a friend coming to visit and oh by the way let us help you with your car.
I purchased my vehicle in 2018, it was a wonderful experience but as my warranty ran out I stared having minor issues. Now moving forward every time I take my car in for service they always find something additionally wrong with my car. I ve been in a total of THREE times in two months and every time something is repaired a couple days later something else need to be repaired that is directly associated with what DEVON BMW just repaired.
DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE THIS PROBLEM WITH THEM OR IS IT JUST FEMALES THAT THEY'RE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF?
Great customer service that exceeded my expectations. I worked with Andrew to purchase my new car. He was very personable and easy to work with. He is one of the few individuals I have worked with that made it a pleasant experience when purchasing a new car. I appreciate Andrew ensuring that his customers are happy and satisfied.
We used Devon Hill BMW since 2004 and had been very pleased with them. However, since they have been taken over by Sloane Automotive, the service has plummeted. We purchased our 3rd car from them on August 16, and still had not received the title or updated registration by mid-October. When I called to alert them, the manager of sales blew me off and said they had 90 days to get us the final paperwork, that Sloane headquarters was very busy, and these things just took time.
A couple more weeks pass without receiving paperwork and still they blow me off. 2 weeks before the 90 day deadline, I demand to speak with someone at Sloane headquarters. That person informs me that they had to pay off the bank loan of the car's previous owner, then the DOT found problems in the paperwork (due to mistakes that they made). 1 day before the 90 day deadline, still no title or registration.
It took 100 days to receive our title & registration, and when we did, it was only in my name instead of my and my husband's name, which is how we filled out all the original paperwork. So they had to redo it *again*.
This doesn't even begin to address the lack of communication during the sales process or other negative interactions at the dealership and corporate level. So long as this dealership is under Sloane's control, we will never buy another car there (or any other of their dealerships). Also, only because we love our service advisor, Jeff, we will continue getting service there for now. But if he ever leaves, we will immediately take our service business elsewhere too. I do not want to put any more money into Sloane's pockets!
I went to look at BMW Devon to get a BMW X5. Great place and great salesman. Dale Levin was great from start to finish, he got me what I needed. I would highly recommend Mr. Levin and BMW Devon for your car needs.
I went over to BMW of Devon after finding a Certified Pre Owned 3 Series online that I was interested in. John Walden assisted me as soon as I stepped in the door. Honestly, it was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had and certainly the best interaction I have ever had with a dealership. John took me out to to the car I was interested in purchasing and took me thru the process without ever being pushy in any way, shape, or form. I received an excellent value for my trade-in and quickly went over offer and financing terms for the vehicle I ultimately purchased. The negotiation process was simple and never tenuous - it was fair and logical. Once we had settled in on price and trade value we set an appointment to pick up the vehicle within the next few days. I headed over two days later in the morning to finish the paperwork and get into my new car. John answered all of my final questions and showed me every detail I needed to know about the vehicle - at which point I was passed off to Frank Muto to complete all the necessary paperwork. Frank gave me a a full explanation of every document I needed to complete and made sure I arranged financing terms that fit my budget. Again - while offering additional warranty and protection plans I never felt like I was being pushed into anything I didn't want to do. Once everything was signed up, my car was waiting outside with a fresh wash and wax, ready to drive off the lot. It was a truly painless and easy experience. I would recommend this dealership and both of these gentlemen to anyone in the market for a BMW. I look forward to going back and purchasing my next car at Devon as well.
I came to BMW of Devon for a specific car. Drew and Tori were incredibly helpful, respectful of my needs and time, and everything was relaxed and positive. Not a high intensity experience as can happen in car sales. Everyone was friendly and took care of me. Outstanding stable of cars too!!
I would like to extend a major thank you to Brad Tabolinsky, Frank Muto, and Lisa Puggi for putting me behind the driver s seat of a new X3. This is my second time working directly with Brad and his knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, honesty, patience, and sense of humor make the process top notch. This process can be stressful, but Brad minimizes all of that. I know that I can reach out to Brad at any point with questions and he will be there to help. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure that the experience was a very positive one and was quick to answer all of my questions and alleviate any concerns. They even stayed late on a Saturday to make sure I could drive my new car home that night. I ve been a loyal customer of BMW of Devon for years and this is why - they take the best care of the customer. I look forward to working with them again in the future and thank them for this very positive experience.
Took delivery for a 2105 M4 BMW from BMW of Devon and simply put, the car has exceeded my expectations in every way. Not to be outdone however, was the outstanding treatment I received from the Sloane team. It started immediately when I received an intro call from David Sloane himself he jump started the process and within minutes of our conversation I received a call from sales team Member Chris Blazer. From that point on until the car was delivered, Chris provided me with not only attentive advice and prompt follow through, but showed a genuine care and interest that everything in the sales/procurement process was to my satisfaction. Chris s professionalism validated my decision to come to BMW of Devon and I could not be more pleased.
In closing, It s not often that one goes through the auto sales or any sales process and in the end wants to befriend the staff . In my case, that is exactly what happened. Thanks to David s call and Chris s excellent customer care, I will look no further for my next BMW purchase. I unequivocally give BMW of Devon my highest endorsement to any prospective buyer. You could not be in better hands and who knows you might make a few new friends along the way!
Special thanks to GM Tony Lukanski and BMW Genius Joe Narke. Tony took great pains to insure timely delivery and fulfillment of a high demand, limited availability custom automobile. Joe has shown unending patience in fielding my questions -which by the way he continues to do going so far as meeting me at my home. I would be lost without him.
I easily made an appointment online. My intake was quick and everyone was friendly. My options were explained to me, the needs my car had were clear and my questions were answered, and the work was done fast as well. There was a comfortable spot for me to set up my laptop and work while I waited.
They lost my due to their arrogant sales attitude and not willing to help. I ended up at west German with outstanding service and I purchased my beloved 4 series from west German. This place however sales team thinks they know it all attitude. (You are probably looking for something like a 3 series). No! Thanks for thinking that way about me, I am looking for top of the line 4 series 440. Anyways they lost me at hello
Although we were at the dealership on one of the busiest days of the holiday sales (Dec 26), Dale took all the time we needed to test drive the X1 and then negotiate a lease deal that was acceptable to us. When we picked up the car on Jan 2, we were also given a thorough explanation of the car s equipment, electronics, and features, with a promise for more training if and when we needed it.
Disingenuous, dishonest sales people. They negotiated in bad faith. They were negotiating with us yet pretending interest in the same car by another customer to drive up the price. Then they tried to push us another car with fewer features but claiming falsely it was an upgrade on the car we previously saw. Unethical, unprofessional. A disgrace to the BMW reputation!!
Last week I've called their service department and scheduled an appointment to get my audio issue fixed, I knew what the problem was and explained them over the phone and the operator constantly kept saying if something else is wrong they would keep the car and give me a lease, I knew that there were no other problems with the vehicle and even if they would have found something I would still handle it on my own but the operator kept on insisting... Over the phone they tell you to bring over the vehicle and they'll check it out like there is no fees or anything, and when I got there they wanted $150 for diagnostics + hourly, and they expect you to just bite it and go along with it. I have told them what the issue was and I had diagnostic reports from 2 other ex BMW mechanics, I even had the part number of the part I needed for them to order, but they didn't necessarily care about those informations. I had my mind set in a certain way for stealerships for the longest time but I thought they might be able to change that, I guess I was wrong. Drove an hour for nothing but disappointment, good job BMW of Devon.
Greg DiRocco, my client advisor, was great and easy to work with. The whole process was very pleasant at the dealership. I would not hesitate recommending this dealership if you are looking to purchase an BMW.
Lots of certified late model used BMW's. Staff helped me find one and completed the sale in a very professional manner. Clean and comfortable customer lounge.
This place is awful. Working with Dale has been a nightmare. Not only did he make a nasty joke about my father dying but he also made a comment about how women do not know how to buy vehicles. Bought the x3 from West Chester BMW instead.
Excellent experience before during and after lease Dealt mainly with Dale Levin who gave excellent info about the X5 that I got Other staff very helpful and friendly Support after excellent
Awful service! They do not return calls after they sell you a car and do not deliver on their promises. Will never recommend this dealership to anyone I know. We purchased $56k vehicle and were promised that they will take care of minor scratches and will detail the car for us. We bought a car in February and those issues have not been address yet, despite our attempts and efforts to get in touch with both, our sales rep and used car manager. It is all stated in the contract we received, so I guess I need to get a lawyer and maybe someone will finally call us back to arrange those services. I cannot believe we don t even deserve a call back. So sad they treat their customer that way as soon as they make the sale...
Extremely disappointed after purchasing certified pre owned 535i from Devon BMW. They claim that certified pre owned goes through series of service and detailing before it goes for sale. Not even a week i started driving the car, the AC stopped working. Also, I had to bring back the car for a stain in the dashboard and a dirty seat belt. My biggest disappointment is the AC. Seems like the dealership just want to get rid of the car without being properly checked. I will definitely not going there for next purchase and will not recommend others to purchase any pre owned cars from there.
Beware of this Dealer! I was hopeful that the bad reviews I read were not true but my experience proved otherwise. The CPO used car side of the business is a shady one to say the least. I was trying to purchase a 2017 X5 and was in the process of negotiating the price when I was informed that the car had sold. I believe that they had another buyer waiting and used my offer as leverage, or perhaps some other unethical sales tactic. I wasted many hours and 2 visits to the dealership looking at the car and test driving only to get the news midpoint in the price negotiations. I have purchased many BMW CPO's from several dealerships in the area over the years and never had this kind of negative experience. Nor have I experienced such unprofessional behavior by salesman and sales managers with a total disregard for my time and interest. This place is suspect, just read the other reviews and you will spot the trends. Do yourself a favor and spend your valuable time shopping elsewhere. Be sure to spread the word as well, I plan on it !
I worked with Dale and he was phenomenal. He was so helpful and cheerful. He made my experience great. Loved Lisa and her rule "no coughing or children" LOL!! Will be back in a couple of years to get a new car.
Always a great experience! We switched from the Dealer in Main Line after a lack luster service experience. Our friends said to hit up Devon. The service department here is excellent! It's been 2 years and never had less than five star experience! Never looked to another place for our cars needs. If it ain't broke don't fix it! If it is...take the trip to Devon!
we have been coming to this location for 28 years and have leased one or two BMW's every three years. this dealership changed hands. things have never been the same. It appears they cater to a younger crowd now. and the general manager who I called and left a detailed voice message twice has never called to discuss the problems. our 2 BMW leases are finished in December and so are we. After 28 years.
Our sales person, Darryl Tate, was the best ever. He was very professional and patient. He was not pushy at all, worked with us on a great price and made financing easy. He answered our questions before we even asked. Even after we took the car home he followed up. The car is in excellent condition and even though we ve only had it a week, I feel comfortable that we wont have any issues. So far this has been the best car buying experience we have ever had.
I bought my new BMW last week, the process was efficient and straightforward 100%, and salesperson Kerry Simmons, did a spectacular job on post sale service. I really appreciate the assistance from the salesperson. I would definitely recommend BMW Of Devon!
Initially I spoke to Darryl Tate about seeing a car. He was very nice and helpful. At the last minute, Darryl wasn't able to show me the car, so he referred me to Kerry Simmons. Without hesitation, Kerry showed me the car, and we test drove it and finally purchased the car. He was very friendly and went above and beyond his responsibilities during our negotiation and purchase. The entire staff was also friendly and helpful. I would recommend seeing Kerry at Devon BMW for a great car buying experience.
Went in to inquire on a used SUV and the sales associate was so keen on asking me how soon I wanted to purchase a vehicle, before he even got the keys to open it. My answer of "within the next month" must have not been sufficient enough as when he came back with the keys he did not even allow me to test drive the vehicle as to his statement "it will put miles on the vehicle and that the vehicle will be sold before that time frame." Absolute absurdity that a 2 mile test drive would diminish the value. I walked right out and he then proceeded to chase me down and say that he would get the tags to take the vehicle on a test drive. I left the dealership, told them to never contact me regarding any vehicle ever. This dealership does not deserve any respect as they clearly do not even offer that to potential customers.
This is my first luxury vehicle experience and Ben at Devon made it an awesome one. It took me a few months to narrow my vehicle down...but through entire journey, he stayed involved and provided the information needed to solidify my decision. I would definitely recommend Ben and BMW of Devon.
Frank and Daryl are truly amazing. Traded in and drove off with a brand new 2018 X1, in the color I wanted. They stayed way past 8:00PM just to complete the lease process and get the car detailed. Excellent service.
Just purchased a new BMW. The sales team was beyond incredible. Frank Muto and Kerry Simmons were a delight to deal with. Courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Terrific experience and I highly recommend them.
I recently bought a CPO BMW from them and was very happy with the overall experience. My car was ready to go at the scheduled appointment time. A knowledgeable BMW genius explained all the features of the car on our test drive. Salespeople were not pushy, we completed the sale and drove out with the car in a couple of hours time.
Thanks to Ed, Carlos and Jim for providing an excellent car buying experience.
I felt that I was judged when I walked through the door. The salesman Drew and I started off rocky because I felt as though he was fast talking me, talking at me, not being personable or cordial which set me in a way. Realizing that I was not being receptive nor nice due to the above I owned up to the situation and we were able to get through the transaction cordially.
