Truly embarrassing business lunch. Hostess was rude. She tapped a table as an indicator that my party belonged there and kept walking. Wait staff reached over us constantly. Not properly trained. The food is consistently good, but the service has gotten progressively worse over the past several months.
Terrific steak place, of course. I particularly appreciated that the steak was cooked to requested temperature (rare). Too often in the USA, I find I have to go one level rawer to get true Temps. Not here. The wine list was very good as well!
First time at this location. Food, wine and service were exemplary. I had limited mobility due to recent foot surgery and a staff person kindly escorted me all the way to the ladies room. They even give you a little card with their world famous popovers recipe. Gets very crowded...so reservations are wise. Nice bar scene too. A place for professionals, singles and families!
Great place to go for a special occasion, and if you're willing to splurge.
After several visits I finally decided to try the Wagyu beef. I ordered the Cap Steak and it really lived up to expectations. The flavor and tenderness were well with it. Another great dining experience!
I have been twice for lunch. Steak was flavorful but on the tough side. Liked the maitake mushroom side dish . Decor is forgetable waiters hover too much. Overall decent place but price exceeds value. Better steaks elsewhere....but lobster roll was good according to my guests. My guess is they will get over being impressed with themselves by late summer and lower prices for the other than expense account crowd. Which is when I will return.
Overall good, but I had to send back the dry-aged hamburger because the taste was unusually strong, almost gamey. They were terrific about replacing this with the more regular cheeseburger, which was tasty. Popover are always great! Service was superb.

Great place to have a social gathering with friends and family. The food however, does not hold up to the price.
Obviously a high end steak house with all of the perfect cuts of meat and deliciously butter soaked sides you would expect, but the true hidden gem is their dry aged beef burger. I know it sounds crazy, but by far my favorite thing on the menu. They only advertise it during lunch, but if you ask, they'll make it for you during the dinner service, too. The flavor can't be beat and I don't know what Elfen magic they use on this burger, but it is phenomenal. Sauteed onions and shredded short ribs garnish this magical meal, and the bread just gets in the way. I prefer it open face.
Their baby brussel sprouts were probably the best thing there. I had high hopes of this place and they weren't met. Maybe the one in NY is good...but this one, not so much. Then again I don't like my steaks charred on the outside....what is it called? Pittsburgh Style? Hmm, still not impressed.

Fabulous food with a chic vibe. Surprisingly date night, as well as family friendly. So nice that the chef came out & spoke to his guests. @chefbonk on Instagram. We had amazing filets. Highly recommend when in DC.

The tuna tartare was pretty good, a bit one dimensional with too much soy sauce, though. The drinks were good. The place has a nice mood lighting for a romantic and fun evening.

You your steak served on a hot iron skillet , it's always an awesome experience. I ordered New York strip medium rare, it was served perfectly cooked. Mashed potatoes also came and a small iron skillet. I recommend this place servers with friendly.
BLT is more of a special occasion restaurant: At least for me. They do a great job! Somewhat on the more expensive end of spectrum! Good service!

Porterhouse from BLT is hands down the best steak I've ever had. Quality of the food is consistently top notch and the popovers are addictively delicious.
Good food! Fresh, enticing, sexy food. Popular with professionals for lunch, higher prices but it's worth it. Excellent service, good sturdy silverware and proper linen napkins is a big plus. Acoustics are a bit challenging though, so not good for groups larger than four during peak times (you really have to lean in to hear even with just two-four).
A couple weeks ago my wonderful colleagues threw me a welcome back lunch, as I was returning to work after being off for 6 months on medical leave. I must say the food was yummy and the staff was amazing! Thank you Aziz for the extra special treats! Beau Monroe, your staff and restaurant are top notch! BLT I will be back!! Cheers! :)
Had a reservation for 5pm right when they opened to celebrate my husbands birthday. To summarize: WOW.
The service was PHENOMENAL. From the moment we walked in the door, they made my husband feel extra special and celebrated over his birthday! From the manners of pulling the table out from our booth for us to sit easily to constantly ensuring we were content and enjoying our meal, I just can not stress enough the level of service they provide.
The food definitely matches that same standard. For the price, the quality of food certainly surpasses! I had the filet mignon and my husband had the wagyu strip. Both best steaks we ve ever had! Tender, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Worth every single penny and more!
Will be returning 100 times over!
Amazing food. My friends took me there for my birthday. The service is fantastic and the staff go out of their way to ensure you are having a great experience, they even have black napkins if you ask. My steak was cooked perfectly, though my friends was overdone. I'm sure if she had said it was overdone, they would have handled it expeditiously. The truffle mashed potatoes were incredible. We ordered 3 desserts and they brought an extra because it was my bday. My water glass was never empty and I drink a lot of water. It was a great place for a special occasion, I was really pleased.

I had the Waygu skirt. It was something I will be talking about for the rest of the year. I ordered Med-Rare.
Truly, so soft. Supple. Cook to true perfection.
We also ordered a filet mignon, also Med-Rare.
It was a beautiful, tall, steak goddess. The char was gorgeous and very tasty.
I will be dreaming of this meal for some time.

Attended a Hall wine event on the rooftop of BLT steak. Quite a nice event with super views
Food is absolutely delicious. Head servers are also fantastic, but the other staff don't appear to be well-trained. We had so many mishaps of food handed to the wrong person, dishes misplaced, etc. We also were seated next to a woman who found it appropriate to shout incessantly at her toddler. It's a nice enough place that they would've been well justified in asking her to quieten down or leave, but no such action was taken.
Excellent service, wine selection, atmosphere and of course food. Everything you would expect from the best.

But Disappointed with bacon appetizer- perfect bacon cut but was not good with parsley. Should probably use something sweet), knowledgeable staff, and amazing sommelier. Me and my wife was celebrating our 10 year anniversary and when we walked in the place was very loud not romantic at all . Salads was good she had shimrp they was good I had steak was not good it was burned on the outside and chewy on the inside . Very disappointed this was on February 9
Let me start by saying we came on Thanksgiving day for a lunch that turned into an amazing experience. The staff is friendly and professional. The waiter that served us, the front desk Sr., and the staff in general made out day! The food was delicious!!! The experience was amazing. The waiter suggested me a cocktail that was perfect. I had a rosemary chicken and my husband a steak... both were tender and tasty! Thank you guys for the experience. We had out mini holidays coming from Miami and you made out thanksgiving day!

My first time. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Our cocktails were good. We both had the filet. They were cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and flavorful. Our side selections were good too. I loved the popovers! For dessert I had the lemon cheesecake. Heavenly!!!! I highly recommend BLT Steak!
Over-priced for what it offers. The waygu skirt steak was highly recommended but was far from tender - one of the most chewy steaks ever. Filet Mignon was not bad, but Ruth's Chris is better!
The atmosphere was incredibly loud for a romantic dinner date but the overall experience was enjoyable. STAY AWAY from the Wagyu NY Strip. It honestly was tougher than an Outback Steakhouse steak and for the price was pretty disappointing . The Top Cap was like butter.

First class restaurant. As the name suggests, based on steaks. The waiters are very helpful, nothing to be desired. But it also has its price, but it's worth it.
Excellent food. Service was mixed. Some of the staff were attentive, others seemed to have a leisurely approach. My salmon was perfect and the truffle mashed potatoes divine. Expect to pay dearly for the experience.
Last time I went there, my bartender had a remote-control "vibrating egg", that the other bartender would set off everytime she greeted a new patron. She was charmingly upfront about it when I asked if she was alright.
I also saw a wealthy businessman very loudly, and I'm told JUSTLY, publicly shame one of his subordinates for denigrating the staff- the punishment for which was making the employee allow BLT staff to cut his tie in half with some scissors.
A senator also left his umbrella at the bar, which I took before going back home.
This place is amazing.
Great service. Good wine list (all Pinots were great). I like that they have a broader steak menu here than BLT Prime. Make sure you don't confuse this location with the other one in DC because they have different menu variations. Both are great, but BLT Steak has more steak options.
