The salad was a real let down but I look forward to trying different things next time. Love the staff. The place should be busier but the holidays may have something to do with that. Also Aziz is a delightful person

Great flavour and service but portion sizes are enormous unfortunately.

Service was amazing and the food was delicious. This may be our new favorite D.C. dinner spot.

Incredible food, drink, and service. The bread with gueyere cheese is great. The special appetizer, an avocado with peanuts and lime juice, was awesome. The drinks (manhattan and a mezcal one) were excellent. The Kansas City steak was one of the best we have had. The donuts with chocolate dipping sauce and coffee ice cream were superb. One of our favorite restaurants!

If you re looking for an awesome steak house...look no further. It s a little pricey but you get what you pay for between the quality of food and amazing service. Our steaks were perfectly cooked. Would recommend getting a reservation, it was a busy Saturday night for them. I saw on a review to get a reservation beforehand and I was happy that we did. We will be back next time we re in town!

Super great service, very attentive waiter, Ben, and other staff. Wagyu Ribeye is way over priced and just isn t that good. Much better steaks at other restaurants for 1/2 the price. Superior service + average overpriced food = 3 s.

it's what you'd expect from a $30-$40 entree steak house. service is great, food is really good.

Good bar. As the name suggest, the dinner fare is a meat paradise. However I find it best as a meeting place after work.

Probably the best steak I have ever had. Service was extremely well done and fluid without that feeling of being stuffy you sometimes get at a steakhouse. Love the inclusion of popovers which I never thought of as a complement of steak but their texture and flavor fit right in.

We went here for our two year anniversary and had a wonderful time. The place was a little slow so it was like the restaurant was all ours for the night. Justin our Waiter was fantastic! He was super professional and had great conversation. He was super informative as well. We even asked him to sit with us for a bit and talk. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was nice. I will most definitely come back.

Awful. The steaks are easily $20+ more expensive than they have any right to be. There are so many better steak houses in DC. No one needs to go here.
Both my girlfriend and I's steaks were over cooked despite them being different cuts ordered to different specifications.

One word: wagyu. Tho not the only delectable delight on the menu - hen of the woods mushrooms, dessert, cocktails, the pop-ups, all are wonderful. You'll do yourself a favor by enjoying an evening here.

BLT is where I first discovered dry-aged steak, and it was a life changer. We never have a bad experience here. The 5@5 is a great deal (though the food is understandably and hilariously small). Good wine list, great old fashioned, fantastic popovers, whatever liver usually comes with the bread is amazing, and I've never regretted a meal choice (I usually either share the dry-aged porterhouse and have once indulged and shared a wagyu/kobe flight). Also good desserts if you have/leave any room. I'm always satisfied when I leave this place.

Great dining experience, very professional staff, and of course great food. Highly recommend one of the Wagyu steaks.

The popover is so amazing! 28day dry aged steak is the best I ve ever had! A little bit pricy but totally worth it.

My wife's filet was awesome as were the truffle mash and the sweet potato mash. My ribeye was okay, a bit grizzly, but lacking the rich fat a ribeye should be marbled with.

First time was amazing, but second time quality of steak and food was average for a fancy steakhouse

Food was very good, service was very good. Prices were a bit on the high side, even for downtown Washington DC. Also, they accidentally charged us for an extra glass of wine, so be sure and look closely at your bill.
Me and the wife eat out frequently but were still surprised by the tab. Ouch.

4 starts for the price because it is PRICEY. However the Happy hour is amazing. The cocktails are made to perfection and two words: pop overs. They are the best ones in the city!

Best Steakhouse in the City. Fork-tender cuts. Great drinks. Fantastic wine selection. Great for business dinners.

the food is tasty --but why anyone still uses iceberg lettuce in salads is beyond me. they get a 0 for decor because the noise level makes it difficult to hear conversations. when the restaurant is very busy, service can lag a bit.

Incredibly disappointing... They had a filet trio on special that we ordered and were out of at 7pm on a Saturday. Hen of the wood mushrooms were burnt. The other filet we ended up getting was tough like a strip steak. Service was rushed. At this price point you want to sit down, enjoy dinner and not be rushed to finish.

I've been to most of the Steak Houses and this was the best. The service was tremendous and there is no comparison when it comes to steaks. I highly recommend them. I know my wife was asking me before we even finished our dinner, when do we plan on coming back.

expensive meal without the white table cloth feeling. it feels like a cafeteria and it costs like a 3 star.

Came here last night for my husband s birthday. The food was just ok. I ordered the Cowboy, my husband ordered the wagyu ribeye. I don t know if he got a bad cut of meat but his wasn t tender at all, he was really digging in his knife to cut it. We ve been to A LOT of steakhouses and for the price you pay here, we were kind of disappointed. The side dishes are tiny, Mac and cheese had this weird garlic flavor to it, but the wine is excellent.

Out of town guests customer service was horrible tonight. Lucas our waiter was not attentive.. George who was waiting on guests at next table provided better service to our needs.

Wonderful restaurant, very good food, great management. You can t beat the location.

Best Steak in DC. Only had better in Argentina or Uruguay.
