Absolutely loved the lodge. Fantastic room, wonderful hosts, even the smallest detail was absolutely stellar. So much to do inside the hotel, as well, and so much I didn't get to do in a single night's stay-- I'm definitely coming back.

Just tried to call and ask about bowling. They transferred my call and it rang back to the girl who initially answered. She tried to transfer me again and someone picked up the phone and hung up on me. Real professional. Horrible customer service.

This was one of the most incredible stays I've ever had. This was my first time down in Memphis and it was made into a wonderful memory! The fact that it's inside a pyramid is AMAZING! The inside was beautiful and the rooms were extremely cozy. The beds were the softest thing to sleep on. The bathroom in the room was fantastic as well. It had a huge shower that has a rain shower shower head and a huge Jacuzzi tub! I recommend this stay to anyone. It was a great time!

Did not stay in the hotel (Will next time though) but ate at the Look Out and the food was amazing. I love to cook and it is rare thing to find a chef that can prepare salmon and elk better than me. It was a joy to not only have the view but great food like that. See you in the summer.

Loved the hotel from the door to the room. The room was extravagant with great attention to detail. Actually felt like we were in a luxury log cabin. Valet, front desk, and concierge were awesome, but room service was a disaster. We ordered while milk for our son that too forever to receive and once we did the milk had stuff floating in it and the glad was nasty. We told the front desk and it took about how for room service to bring us a replacement. The room and bed was clean and very comfortable.

They are so wonderful there . Greeted by Jeffery who made us feel right at home and treated us more like family than guests. Then it just kept continuing with Larry and Tai? Sp? Fantastic group of people. Everyone from bell desk to housekeeping was warm and welcoming. The accomadations were beautiful. I wish they had more places throughout the state's to stay. Excellent experience. Top hotel! Would not stay anywhere else in Memphis!

Our family enjoyed our stay very much! The kids couldn't believe we were staying in a Bass Pro Shop. Every detail of the room had a lodge feel. The "porch" overlooking the Bass Pro was a unique touch. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We'll stay there again.

Fun experience. Beautiful hotel overlooking a beautiful shopping experience. Annoying to be charged a $20 resort fee and a $15 parking fee (when you park in the same free lot as the store patrons) on top of the Expedia rate. However, you do get free tickets up the elevator and that's a $10/ticket savings. Not sure this would be a great long weekend stay, but for an overnight stop it was perfect. Two on site restaurants. Hotel bar open until 10. Shower and tub we're amazing, as were the attention to details throughout the hotel.

As I sat in my dimly lit, windowless interior room like John Cusack in '1408', surrounded by an array of stuffed carcasses, the only thing I had left to wonder (other than if Samuel L. was going to knock on my door) was --- is this a hotel lodge or a psychological torture chamber?

Rooms are large, very clean, seemed new. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stopped in for dinner after visiting family for a week. Ended up staying in the lodge to get a vacation from our family before heading back home. Totally unexpected stay for us, but well worth it. Very relaxing to sit on the balcony and people watch, great piano bar with fireplace, restaurants were great, view was awesome! Very easy access to highway and great parking.

If you are visiting Memphis and looking for a unique location providing relaxing experience Big Cypress Lodge might be a good choice for you. Essentially it feels like you are on an outdoors vacation in the middle of metropolitan Memphis. Rooms are arranged like a hunter's lodge nevertheless providing all the luxuries of civilization - beautiful spacious bathtub with jets, shower, electric fireplace, television, WiFi and good service. The Big Cypress Lodge is located inside the Bass Pro Shop Pyramid and this on it own is a unique experience. You get a great view of the entire HUGE store from the 3rd floor. On this floor you can also find Spa, Gym and nice small bar with intimate atmosphere. And the cherry on the top - there is a world highest self standing elevator that takes you all the way to the top of the Pyramid. View of Memphis from there is just incredible. In conclusion, if you like adventure, unique experience and nice secluded place in the middle of Memphis, Big Cypress Lodge is definitely place for you.

This hotel was amazing to look at, but wouldn't stay again. We were there in July for two nights. The air in out room never worked , so the first night we had staff in out room past midnight trying to fix it, nothing and all day the next day nothing. They never offered to let us change rooms. The huge bathtub would of been great, but there was never enough hot water to fill it, and the jets decided to go off completely by themselves every 30 minutes from 12 a.m. to 3 a.m. I had to get up and turn them off everytime, so not much sleep for two nights for a VERY pricey room.

This hotel was one of the best I've ever stayed in and I loved being there! Everything was incredibly nice, clean, and inviting.
Honestly, I think the bathroom was my favorite part of the room too. The lighting over the tub was very pretty and inviting. Great shower too, just the right amount of pressure.

This place is nice, only wish when you gota smoke you didnt have to walk nearly a mile back and forth to your room also the rooms are way over priced for being inside of the bass pro shop,we was there on a time share, theres no way I'd pay almost 500 a night in a queen size bed room that when you look out the balcony you see people shopping, also once the store closed they left the music on and you can hear it loudly.the walk alone to the room was so exhausting I'd never stay there again, not even if it was cheaper. And also looked behind my bed when I dropped my cell phone and there was a piece of toilet paper, nasty, just shows that they dont clean behind the beds.

So far the service has been horrible. It s really expensive to stay here but ITS NOT WORTH IT! We ordered room service ($16) a plate and the food was old, cold and disgusting. The snacks that were in the room was old and stale. I would much rather stay at a Hilton than this hotel. It s really not worth the price. I m very disappointed.

Best Hotel Ever!! I've stayed in a lot of places all over the US & this place was the coolest by far. We will definitely be back, was a little expensive but worth every penny. Everyone was so friendly too. Make sure you go to the top observatory by elevator, free w/lodge stay. A few different restaurants to choose from. Bass Pro shop inside is Amazing! You could spend days there. Actual water w/boats & fish inside. Coolest part was screened in front porch off sliding door in our room that looked down on bass pro shop. You won't be disappointed staying here!!

Staying at the Big Cypress Lodge is absolutely a must-do. I was completely and totally blown away. We had a room facing the interior, which looked out over the entire store and it was amazing. You could see all sorts of fish in the ponds and the decoration with all the trees, birds, and other animals was stunning. The room itself is also spectacularly decorated with lots of wood, and every detail carefully thought of. Nothing was overlooked here! The bath tub is also HUGE, which was really cool. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime, outa this world experience - Big Cypress Lodge is it! So cool!

We booked two nights here for our anniversary. The valet is mandatory, so we handed our keys over to the valet the first night we were there. The next morning, we came down stairs, and the valet informed us that our car window had been busted out and someone had robbed our vehicle. About $3,500 worth of damage done to our vehicle. We had to leave and we were only refunded for the night we could not stay. We still had to pay for the rest of the stay plus the extensive damage done to our vehicle while parked in their mandatory valet parking lot.

The police informed us that the hotel has been advised over and over again by the police and the valet service to put up a fence and increase parking lot security. The police officer said he alone had worked hundreds of break ins in that parking lot. No cameras, no fences, no security. A stay at this hotel is NOT worth thousands of dollars in damage to your vehicle! Stay at the Peabody or somewhere else with a parking garage. We will not be back, and we will advise anyone we know to look for somewhere else to stay.

If you like Bass Pro Shop this is your place. Located in the Pyramid in downtown Memphis near interstate access, good food, Beale Street and river front area. My room had a electric fire place and rusty look of outdoor cabin. A veranda for sitting overlooking the store. I highly recommend for anyone that loves the outdoors. Top of the line accommodations.

This place is not as advertised by any means. you have to call the front desk to get desired room temperature. They don't serve alcohol like advertised. EVERYTHING closes at 8:30 including room service. for the money we paid to come here for our anniversary it was a huge let down

Very cool place. Awesome sights inside and on the top of the pyramid. Had to wait in line for a long time to go on the elevator to the top of pyramid. We waited for 30 minutes. Social distancing was scarce and not enforced and masks weren't being used. Other than that it was a very cool place to visit.

This place is new to my eyesight.. Worth the expensive experience..... Some dust here and there but no big deal. Calling the front dest and someone answers was a problem on my last night here. No free breakfast for the amout you pay. No slippers. The staff is nice. The people I've came across was atleast. I was judged or looked down upon... My daughter experienced a different experience for her birthday sleep over... Overall.... The place and staff is on top of it except for answering the phone late night and the heat in my room didnt come on... I had trouble with the heat coming on is why I was calling front dest so late but nice stay and experience!

This is a really cool place to visit. Two bars and one really nice restaurant. Bowling. An elevator to the top which gives you an excellent view of downtown Memphis and the surrounding countryside. Aquariums. Open streams with live animals.

Andrew was awesome in the valet service. And Polly at the front desk was super nice. And above and beyond was Jeffry the bellhop. This man went over the top with my daughter in I. We were getting our car from valet to go to the casinos and he came walking out as we were getting in. He thought we were going Beale Street so he welcomed us to follow him there or even ride with him. After a small debate between us 3, we valet our car and let Jeffry take us down to Beale St. We had the best time, ate the best bbq ribs and experienced the FreeWorld band jazzy -rock roll. THANK YOU Jeffry for your polite helpfulness. Your spirit is amazing and contagious. You re timing was perfect. Thank you!

Big Cypress Lodge was amazing. The interior King room was very large with a fireplace, huge shower and separate jetted tub. The screened balcony was very nice with 2 rocking chairs as well as a small dining table with 4 chairs. The best part was the views of the Bass Pro Shop below from the private balcony. We will definitely stay here again!

The room was really nice. We booked an exterior room because we wanted the views. When we checked in our view was of the back of a staircase and some tarps. We asked if we could move and were told they were sold out and they were sorry and we would receive a credit towards the room that we never received. Also Uncle Buck's was a disaster! Two hours to get in for all you can eat shrimp to be told they were out after another hour of waiting to be served.

Wonderful room but the service makes a place. Ate at Uncle Buck s. Sat there an hour waiting on food and drinks. Was horrible. Also, tried to go bowling only to stand in line for 30 minutes, got to the counter, and the staff never once acknowledged my existence. Kept standing there, got aggravated and finally left. It was my son s birthday so it pretty much was ruined.

The spa is awesome! Danielle ( she's awesome) was my masseuse. After 60 minutes of deep tissue massage, I fell asleep (slightly drooling ) on the table! I slept like a baby that night! My husband noticed after years of waking up with a stiff neck, tension in my shoulders and back pain! I recommend anyone to treat themselves or loved ones to the gift of relaxation!

No smoking area a lot of traveling, poor service. Paid cash for room service they still tried to charge us. Turned on the jets in the hot tub and black stuff came out. Bartenders need to learn more of a variety of drinks

Jeffery made our trip essentially memorable!! He was super helpful and kind to help us to our room, drive us to where we were visiting, and say hello in the hallways. Great room. Not impressed with Uncle Bucks Fish Bowl restaurant.

Beautiful decor, however, the maintenance staff is not helpful.
The handle on the toilet broke. It took Maintenance 30 min to arrive to our room.
He said he had to go get another handle and never came back. So for the rest of the night we had to flush the toilet by taking the top off the tank and pull the chain. This was disgusting and it took a lot away from the experience.

We stayed in a king suite with a balcony overlooking the store. The rooms are very nice and I think that is the most comfortable bed I've ever started in in a hotel. The tub and shower are huge! We really fruit spoiled with our stay. When our budget allows, we'll certainly stay again!
