Our second stay.

Our second stay.
We stayed in the tree house. The cost of the suites is over $700 per night.
Our first stay (summer/fall 2016) was ok, the room was good. They were doing construction work on the exterior which resulted in an extremely loud vibrating noise echoing through the entire structure in the morning. This obnoxious noise woke us up much earlier than we were expecting, also we were not notified in advance. We overlooked it.
Second stay and the reasons we will not return. We and our family occupied two adjacent treehouse suites. We immediately noticed several deficiencies. The first one was dried urine on the top front of the toilet seat. Second, a ring stain inside the bowl of the toilet. Third was debris on the bathroom floor. Fourth was unreasonable dust accumulation throughout the suit (for both suites). Fifth was obvious and unaddressed stains on the carpet. In our previous stay, we liked the bed; so, we were trying to find the manufacture of it. In our effort to learn the manufacture, we moved the mattress, we found significant accumulation of dust and debris behind the bed. This discovery not only grossed us out; but, made us doublethink their approach to hygiene.
Individually, these deficiencies are cause for concern; but, collectively underscore a serious laps in elementary housekeeping. After we made these issues known to the manager, he addressed them; however, it shouldn't take a guest paying over $700 to identify significant deficiencies. Additionally, the manager comped us 10% for the problems; but still, if we are paying over a $700 for two rooms (for one evening), we EXPECT, higher standards than what we discovered. Furthermore, if we wanted Motel 6 standards, we would have stayed there! Big Cypress Lodge, you have fallen a great distance.
