Kyle is super professional and nice so it made my experience of getting my dermal taken out better plus he was fast.

They're amazing to get piercings but I would never go back for a tattoo. I had such a simple design and it got completely botched. I went to them for three of my piercings and decided to try them for my first tattoo about a year ago. The artist took maybe an hour to do my tattoo and didn't talk to me except afterwards for less than a minute about aftercare. I got home and washed my tattoo and realized some of the lines were really thick and some weren't even connected.

Dave Brown is THE ONE to go to!! He spent a good amount of time on my consultation. I will definitely be back!!

Nick Kelly is an amazing artist, he took the time to redraw the tat I wanted and made it actually look better than the original. The artist all seem amazing. Though, Big Brain has a lot more customers than other places as they are very popular so I can see why they charge a lot more for tats. I've gotten large tattoos at other locations for the exact same price that I got a small tattoo done here.

All the guys who do the piercings are always great. They do an amazing job!

The staff is awesome. One of the best shops in Omaha.

My daughters went there to get tattoos and were told they needed to make an appointment for another day. They talked about making an appointment but weren t sure the other date would work for all of them. The guy at the counter told them that if they cancelled more than 24 hours ahead of time then they would get their deposit back so they agreed. When my daughter gave a $50 bill for the $40 deposit and asked for $10 back the guy said let s just keep it all and apply it towards your tattoo. My daughter didn t want to argue so went along with it again saying they would get their deposit back if they cancelled over 24 hours ahead of time. However, when she called over 2 days ahead of time to say they couldn t all make that day, they told her she could not get her deposit back. When she said she was told she would get it back if it was 24 hours prior, the guy said, Sweetheart, that s not how we do things here in a rude and condescending way. Clearly, they took the whole $50 dollar bill knowing they were worried that date wouldn t work for them so they could then pocket the whole thing. Poor customer service, lied about the deposit to take advantage of young girls and rude. Lost future business here!

Mojo is Fabulous!! Clean space. Quick and precise. Friendly laid back atmosphere. Quality craftsmanship at an affordable price. This memoriam tattoo for my baby brother turned out better than i could have ever imagined.

I got an industrial, flat, and two helix piercings done by Dave and I can honestly say it was the best experience I've ever had with getting stabbed in the face. It was professional and sterile but also welcoming and pleasant. Dave is absolutely wonderful! It's obvious that he knows exactly what he's doing. 10/10, would get stabbed again.
For those wondering, the original price for the industrial was $40 and the cartilage piercings were $30 each (fantastic prices imo), but they gave me a deal because I got a bunch at once. Call and ask for a price to be sure, though.

I've heard mixed things about this shop and went in and got my first piece finished here after having started it at another shop. I was pleasantly surprised and had an awesome experience here! The front desk dudes were super nice and helpful and my artist, Nick, was very efficient and I left with some great work. He was very personable and would highly recommend his work to anybody. Definitely will be back!

Went in for a piercing tonight, and honestly was so disappointed. In their defense, I asked for a piercing by the wrong name, which was my mistake. However the guy didn't show me the mark he made for the needle, so I couldn't correct the mistake, and didn't even tell me when he was going to pierce me. I've had multiple piercings before, but never this uncomfortable. Every other piercer I've been to has walked me through what he was doing, and told me when they were putting the needle in. I will never go back.

Terrible customer service!!!!!!! First off I took my niece in with me to get her FIRST peircing all the while talking Big Brain up because they have done SO many peircings throughout the years for both my sisters and myself, right when we walked in and walked up to the counter the man was RUDE IMMEDIATELY and the atmosphere what IMMEDIATELY NEGATIVE!! He was completely rude kept cutting us off when we were talking and just blurting things out while we were trying to tell him what peircing we wanted.
After that he told us the wait would be 30 minutes which was fine so we sat down to wait and what seemed like 2 hours went bye and about 6 different groups of people coming and going we started wondering what was taking so long. FINALLY when the place cleared out the guy at the counter (who has a peircing between his eyes, don t know his name) asks me what my name was and I tell him and he said he forgot to put us on the list! So this whole time we are waiting waiting and waiting about 6 groups of people got in before us!
THEN we go in the back to get our peircings and my niece went first and the guy pierced her and missed and had to basically pierce her nose 3 times which I have on tape. Funny thing is he was cool as a fan ha! I had no problem with him what so ever mistakes happen, but everything that lead up to that made it an all around TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I honestly am mad I even had to pay for hers. That should have been free. The guys up front act like you are a burden on there time. If you don t like your job QUIT BRO! Be an adult and be professional. Super unsatisfied with the service. I would NEVER recomend this place to anyone EVER AGAIN! I have talked big brain up so much for so long it made my word look like trash. Absolutely REDICULOUS.
That s all I am writing and that does not even explaine well enough how terrible the experience really was. I would give NO STAR if I could.
The manager needs to know how his staff treats people and how it makes his business look. Dude at the front with the peircing between his eyes is a JOKE.

When I went to pierce my ear, Dave did such a good job. He talked to me the whole time and made me so comfortable. I felt almost nothing and I would recommend them to anyone!

So, I went for 3 peircings Monday night. The staff even took me right at close. I had been here previously for 2 piercings before, and they were perfectly done. I have a ton of lobe and cartilage piercings. I added 2 more simple cartilage piercings. The third was a tongue piercing. It went well, hurt but nothing i can't handle. Dave himself is pretty great. He was patient and swift. I had a tattoo fixed a few months back. The tattoo artist did great work and was pretty cool once he warmed up to me. Overall the work and environment is pretty cool. Now i have 2 more tats to get fixed.

Herein lies the issue. The front desk people kind of made me feel embarrassed for even letting a crappy tattoo artist work on me. I get it was stupid but i learned my lesson and I wont let anyone outside of the shop do my work. I just wish I didn't feel so harshly judged for decisions I made one drunken weekend. Like I know it was stupid. Now i'm too ashamed to show him my arm and kind of afraid I'll be charged another arm and a leg for filling in and straightening lines on a very small tattoo. Great place

I have been getting all of my tattoos and piercings done at Big Brain for over 14 years, I will never go anywhere else. Everything about this place is absolutely AMAZING! The cleanliness of the shop to the unique features, it all kicks @$$!! What I enjoy most about the shop is the staff and how genuine they are. The vibe in the shop makes you automatically chill and like you are a meant to be there. I have had several artists provide me with phenomenal service and each time each guy made me smile, laugh and feel extra comfortable. Never had any issues with piercings or tattoos, they have all healed well and fast and my ink still looks as if it was just done. Prices are certainly reasonable, you get what you pay for so I don't recommend going anywhere else just to save a buck. The front desk staff is awesome too, they do a great job in explaining things and always helpful!! If you left a 'bad review' on one of the staff members..you probably need to pull your head out of your @$$. THAT is all :) Thanks Big Brain, Much LOVE!!!

Dave did my nose pericing tonite no wait and was very nice and professional gave me a compliment and told me if I have any questions reach out to them this is my second pericing here and both of my daughters got tatted here some years ago and a belly pericing so there one of our favorites.
