Really bad service experience there. Tried to charge me $200+ for a service that I didn't need for another 90,000 miles, service manager was rude. The only positive was they got it done in a timely manner. Do yourself a favor and get service elsewhere. Plenty of better Ford dealerships around.

Tony Betten and Sons has always given me a fair deal on vehicle's. I like how they made the car buying process as quick as possible. If you have any problems with your vehicle after the purchase they always resolve your issues. I have personally met the owners and they are very nice men who care about their customers. I will return to Tony Betten for my next vehicle.

We have bought 2 vehicles from Betten s. Very happy with our salesman, Ben. From a mechanical standpoint, we experienced some hardships with my 2016 Edge. At almost 2 years young, the Edge had a fractured flywheel. Not the dealerships fault. During the replacement of the flywheel one thing led to another and we ended up making 4 or 5 trips to get things right . That was a couple years ago. Fast forward to now. I still have my 2016 Edge and have around 63,000 miles on this vehicle. Yesterday after driving to Kalamazoo, upon returning I started my car and the engine light came on. I drove the car home and when I got a chance to call the service dept it was getting close to 5pm closing time but I still had a few minutes to talk with them and get something scheduled. I called at 4:51,4:52 and 4:53. No answer back in service. Left a message on one service advisor s phone and he still hasn t returned my call. My husband called the service dept this am and guess what the earliest they can look at my car is next Tuesday. Today is Thursday. Treating you like family, I don t think so! This is not valuing your customers.

We have purchased 3 vehicles in the past 2 years from Tony Betten, and all 3 times have been a hassle-free experience. Tyler, our salesman, did his best to get us the best deal and every incentive that he could find- no games, not time-wasting haggling. Needing another car for a child in the next year, so definately will be going back to Tyler and Tony Betten.

Made an appointment , when I called they said they had to put it on the computer it would take about an hour it was 14.99 to do this after sitting their for 3 hours and heard I asked what was going on nobody knew anything all on lunch after waiting another hour they came out told me what was wrong said it would take another 45 min to an hour ended up paying 172.42 in labor plus another 46.94 for the actual work on the car than the price of the part, shop supplies 25.86 than the tax, what happened to the 14.99 for the computer test , nothing like working over an senior woman never ever will I ever use a dealership, I will sell the car

I was being very picky, this time. I did not want to have any 'buyers remorse' I knew what I wanted. They had the exact car, with the right options, and it is perfect. I had been looking for several months, and the price was very fair. The transaction was seamless.
The sales person, Kris Johnson, is someone I have dealt with for years. My bad for getting frustrated searching all the 'internet deals', wasting a ton of time and emotional energy. I should have just called Kris first. We have worked with him for 20 years, and never, ever been disappointed.

I've been buying cars from Tony Betten & Sons for 4 or 5 years. Glenn, Jerry, Matt, and the sales team have always treated me and my family with the utmost respect. They've always been willing to work within my budget, and I'll always continue to shop here because of that. Highly recommend over other dealers in the market.

I called on 8/29/19 (the day I went in for my oil change) to verify that during a oil change the fluids get topped off as well and I was told yes. NO THEY DON'T!! I figured that out two day's later when I went to go use my windshield wipers and no washer fluid came out. And of course the shop was closed for the holiday weekend until today 9/3/19.. I ended up having to put washer fluid, antifreeze and break fluid in myself. Definitely not something I wanted to have to deal with while out with family. That's why I wanted to make sure it was included so I didn't have to do it myself! My advice for anyone coming to this location for a oil change needs to check under the hood before leaving the lot.. Even though you shouldn't have to!

I had a bit of trouble early on getting my back up camera in my new F150 fixed but they stepped up and made it right. They actually picked my truck up at my home, gave me a loaner and brought it back the next day to make up for the early lack of communication.

I thought I was getting great service when we bought our first brand new car. Ever since we bought the car there have been several recalls, we have made appointments to get fixed but they don't have the parts. They are horrible at answering the phones and rude when they do. I have had problems with my vehicle mechanically and only had it just under 1 year. I am very unhappy with this purchase and will be looking to get out of it very soon. Never going back.

I don't own a Ford. My cars are German and Swedish. Two days before Thanksgiving I hit the pothole from hell late at night. The next day was the day before Thanksgiving and I needed to get my tire fixed asap as I was going to be traveling 6 hours for Thanksgiving the same day. So at 8am I went to Belle Tire, no deals, then Discount Tire, same thing...too busy, no deals. So I went to the Toyo dealer, everyone was off, couldn't get me in until the next week. So I tried Tony Betten. This is where I ran into Andrew at one of the service desks. Probably the best service adviser I could have randomly bumped into, he's a European car guy too. So, I explained my situation, showed him the scuff mark left from the pothole and asked if they could just get my tire balanced so I could hit the road. He was super friendly, very helpful and happy to help. Even though it was really hard to tell, the sidewall of my tire had been damaged and the tire needs to be replaced. He picked up on this first thing. This was on my German car, which has performance tires on it that are not commonly stocked. It just happened that I had a winter set of tires that I was waiting to have put on after Thanksgiving. Andrew told me they could put em on for me if I brought the tires back. So that's what I did, turned and burned, back in half an hour with my winter set and had them installed in no time. The price was right, but the service was the best! Even brought home a can of diet coke for my Fiance. So today, driving in the rain, this time in my Swedish car, I noticed that my carpets were wet, as in really wet. So this time it's the day before Christmas. I had no idea where to go, only knew I wanted to get my car in the air to inspect the underside for damage that might be letting water in. Even though I was clear over on Alpine, I thought maybe I could get my car in on a hoist over at Tony Betten. Andrew was working. He remembered me from last time. So I told him my situation, asked if he could get my car in the air for an inspection. Turns out the garage was closing for the day, but we took it over to the oil change bay and looked at it from the basement. We couldn't find anything obvious that was a possible cause, but because he has knowledge of Swedish cars, he thought maybe my moon roof drains were plugged. He pulled out the air hose and blasted them a few times, everything looked clear, but we won't know if that's the key until everything dries out. Bottom line, my cars are not domestic, let alone Ford. Andrew could have told me thanks but no thanks. Fact is, he didn't. He helped out and was happy to do so. Service like Andrew provides is the reason I will go to Tony Betten. Service like he provides is a reason I may consider buying a Ford in the future. Service of Andrew's caliber is uncommon. Glenn Betten, if you read these, reward Andrew handsomely and make sure you keep him around.

Let me first say that the whole process went smoothly and we got exceptional service at Tony Betten Ford when we chose to lease our new 2015 Ford Explorer. We had 2 older vehicles that we were looking to trade. The appraisal was quick and easy and I felt like we got a fair price on the trades. We were new to leasing, so our salesman Dustin Knaggs explained all the important information we needed to know. He also listened to us carefully and took notes so he could find us the perfect Explorer for us; particularly what options we were looking for and one that would meet our needs. It didn't take long for him to locate one that was in stock that perfectly met what we were looking for. When we went in to wrap up the deal, not only did we continue to receive good service from our salesman, but we also had the opportunity to speak with the owner, who showed a genuine interest in our experience we had at the dealership. For these reasons, I would highly recommend Tony Betten to others.

I have come over the last 4 months to Tony Betten Ford to look at different cars so I could buy a new car. I have driven a Fusion, an Escape, and a C Max. I was most intrigued with buying a C MAX because it handled well, had good spaces and design, and was a Hybrid. I was helped along the way by a salesman, Dave Hill. After much thought and research I narrowed it down to a C Max. Dave was able to find a basic C Max, I'm a no frills guy, and had it driven in. He found some discounts for me that helped bring the price of the car down which I appreciated. When I was about to drive the car away, Dave sat in the car with me and synced in my smart phone and explained all the gizmos in the standard car. He was patient and took time to explain things to me and answered my questions. Now I am driving a C Max which I am excited about.

We bought a certified pre-owned Flex from TB&S last year and have had problems with the power lift gate and were completely missing a seat recline handle. It took multiple visits over several months to get these issues fixed. Every time we were told something was ordered it took way longer to get a call that the part was in than we were told. On one occasion I had to call and ask and found the handle still hadn't been ordered. We were charged twice for the same service (re-initializing the tail gate function.) We were finally reimbursed for that after multiple complaints. The thing that leaves the worst impression is that my wife and I have now received several phone calls begging us to change a previous bad review of the service received! My father had a very similar experience with his brand new Edge he purchased at this location. This leads me to wonder how many of their good reviews we coerced after they'd already provided bad service?!

I bought a used Ford Fusion from them several years ago. They gave me a fair price, and it proved to be a very reliable car. I had Betten do some work under warranty, too, and I never had the problem again.

Joel at the service center was helpful when i spoke to him on the phone, dropped my Explorer off and when he called me to pick it up. But when he came out to give me my vehicle back, he proceeded to talk to the person who gave me a ride about my vehicle (presumably because he s a man) instead of me. I continued to attempt to reroute the conversation as he referred to my vehicle as my friends and finally left the conversation. When will men have the respect to talk to the woman who brought in the vehicle even if a man is present? I ll be taking my business elsewhere

If I could give -5 star review I would. The last 2 times I have been have been miserable. Both times they have not had my truck ready when they said they would. The first time they lost my keys. I had to go back to work and they would not give me a vehicle to use, but instead called me an Uber to get back to work. This last time I took my truck in for a TSB. I had an appointment for the morning and I dropped it off before they opened. 2:30 and I still had not received a call and all calls to the service dept went to voicemail. I finally get a hold of someone, but not until after 4pm and they tell me it is done. I left for home and told them I would come back on Monday to pick it up. I get there Monday morning and it is still not done and no credible excuse. This place will not see my business again!!!

I have read through many reviews and mostly see complaints about service work. I have bought a expedition from this dealership before with no problems. Great experience. As far as the service goes thou... Never again will i return. Long story short paid $1500.00 for 2 new struts and 4 spark plugs. Paid for 2 tie rods as well but it looks like they just replaced the bushings inside of the old tie rods. Went to pick the vehicle up and saw the muffler was ready to fall off. Was told they wanted to make things right and would fix at no cost. Ok. Few days later they want over $1000 to fix it. Im not the only one with issues, reviews with negative feedback goes back months. As good old joe would say " come on man".

It's been awhile since I've used a quick lube, but everything today was great. They are very attentive to detail, because they noticed that I was a veteran and gave me a discount. I really appreciate that. Definitely recommend and will go again.

Had a great experience at Tony Betten and Sons Ford working with Jim King. Jim was very honest and worked quickly to get me in the truck of my dreams! Jim was very friendly and made sure that it was a positive experience for me. He had the vehicle I wanted ready to go when I got there. I made the trip from Lansing Michigan and would do it again.

It is getting warm out, so naturally I turned on the air conditioner. To my dismay it didn t work, I feel if they would have checked it out properly they would have found this out. I love my truck.

Customer friendly service without engaging in the annoying practice of hawking parts or services the vehicle doesn t need!! Personnel are competent & quick. Sometimes the Quick Lube isn t so quick tho because of the randomness of customers. But overall, my multiple experiences have been excellent!

Great experience with Tony Betten Ford. No intention of trading the day we purchased our Explorer, but took it for test drive and enjoyed the comfortablenes of the Explorer. It is easy to get in and out. Overall a great experience with a great salesman!!! I would return to purchase again!!!

Wouldn't even fill the tank up after I bought a used car from them!!! Gave it to me on E. Never in my 25 years of purchasing a car/truck have I NEVER gotten a full tank a gas. Just spent all that money and not even a full tank!! I asked them if they would fill it up and the general manager said no way was he going to fill my tank up!! General manager of the used cars lot was very rude the moment I met the guy. Signed the deal and they all started treating me like crap it seemed like.
My recommendation, move onto the next dealership down the road and by pass this one. Maybe the next dealership will treat you like a customer and at least give you a full tank of gas after you have signed the deal.

Friendly staff takes the time ask thorough questions, diagnose the issues and explain the details behind their approach to service issues. The customer waiting area is new and clean. Extremely unimpressed and dissatisfied with the horrible repair service at this dealership. I made an appointment with Tony Betten Ford 5 days in advance and told them exactly what needed to be done with my car, thinking they would have plenty of time to get the parts ready. The morning of my appointment with the dealership, I dropped off my car as soon they opened (Wednesday), and heard nothing back from them for not one, not two, but three days later. I had to call them days later to get any kind of update, all to finally be informed that they hadn t even officially diagnosed my car yet. I was told that I would get a call back twice from them during the process and never received neither. I finally picked up my car on the following Saturday with no official diagnosis nor repairs done, over one week after making my appointment. Extremely disappointed that my time was wasted for all this time to leave with the same car I brought them.

I have given this place several opportunities to be my new garage, but they refuse.
I first went to this dealership to purchase a new car, once my budget was ignored and I was called "hun", I left.
I ended up buying a Ford, so with a recommendation, I thought I would give their service a try. The first visit was to check my brakes because I was uncertain they were done correctly. I also mentioned I had a warranty so if they noticed any work that might be covered I might be interested in having that done. Brakes looked fine except for the "pins" were swapped sides. So I had them fix that incase that was what was the issue. They also mentioned that my calipers needed to be done, and back brakes. But nothing was covered by my warranty. I was told none of that work was covered by my warranty. Not "probably not", not "most likely not" he said no like he checked. Well I did check, and calipers are covered. So I go in for my oil change when it's due, I schedule my appointment with a different service advisor, a woman, and tell her I have no interest in working with the other advisor because he has no interest in doing his job. She then informs me they have to record a or documents about my warranty. I explained I was unaware of that and that only makes the other adviser's behavior that much more egregious. I provided her with all the information. She calls HOURS later, most of the day later (remember this is for a scheduled oil change) that because the pin work was corrected I would have to take it to the dealership I purchased it from to have the calipers fixed, because they didn't fix them right. So the break pins Tony Betten and Sons fixed are preventing me from getting my calipers, that have yet to be touched, replaced. That's what they told my warranty. Luckily I got a quote for the calipers the same day I had the brake pins switched and hopefully that will be enough to prove CNA that I didn't have any work done on them yet and that they were lied to. I'm not sure if this was done out of malice or ignorance, not sure which would be better.
Out of desperation with the holidays I scheduled another oil change, which I missed, so I scheduled another. This appointment the text reminder said a different time from what I had in my planner, so I went to adjust the appointment, but ended up canceling thinking talking to someone would be a better way to get help. I talked to someone and was transferred to a service adviser's machine and never heard from them again. I understand its around the Holidays but a phone call should be returned in more than a business day's time.
I will never be so desperate again that I even try to use this shop to check my fluids. They talk down to woman, I'm pretty sure its policy not to greet customers until they have to stare advisors down for them to finish their personal conversations, and they lie to not help you. Its amazing this place is not only open, but so busy. Not sure why I couldn't get help or service that was needed, but hopefully they learn from this review and do better.

I would love to give this review 5 stars, but they have really missed the mark with me. I bought a gently used car from Tony Betten, which was a great process. The problems started when it needed service. First I spent a couple weeks trying to even speak to someone in the body shop. Finally I got ahold of someone and I spoke to the manager, who was very nice and apologetic. The first warranty service appointment that I had went fine. However, a few months later my car was making some noises. I took it in 4 or 5 times for the same issue. Recently they said they had pinpointed the problem and it was fixed. Graciously, they did not charge me even though by now my warranty is done. The problem is that a couple of days after this the noise came back. I can t fault anyone that I have worked with there- they have all been very friendly and kind! I will have to take this problem to a different mechanic, however, as I am done dealing with this there.

We have purchased a new Edge and F350 in the last 10 months from Betten Ford. Both experiences have been great. Paris Manuel was our salesperson and we highly recommend working with Paris. He has helped out with arranging service for the Edge and also with some customizing of the F350 upon arrival to the dealership. A++ Thanks again Paris, we will be back again.

I found the vehicle online on a Friday and I was off the lot on Monday afternoon with a wonderful low mileage two year old Ford Escape.
This is the first Ford I have ever purchased and I am pleased with the way this dealer treats his customers and employees.

Was looking for a newer vehicle, Ford Escape, sales man was extremely rude, talked to me like I was completely stupid. Manager had to step in and help, finally found a car I liked which I was tempted not to buy because I did not want such a rude person to receive my hard earned money! Bought the car, one week in I had to bring it in, obviously to a different Ford dealer because I did not want to go back to tony betten, for trailer light issues. The dealership ended up finding other issues and told me they were surprised that tony betten hadn't fixed these before my purchase. I'm very disappointed in this dealership and I will not go back, nor will I recommend them to anyone ever! Glad my car is under warranty still so there is no money coming out of my pocket!

I have bought 2 new cars from Tony Betten and Sons. Both times I expected to have to order to get what I want. Both times the salesman was able to find what I wanted at other dealerships and make a trade. I felt the price was fair and the service has been great.
