Amazing guest service at first check in was no hassle. The rooms are quite elegant with a concept of living in a apartment. The delicious food from their own kitchen and all of the accommodations that come with the room made the place feel more luxurious.

Facility is nice and modern. Feels "fancy". They had our reservation for the incorrect dates, even though my confirmation has the correct dates and didnt have a room available and turned me away. Luckily a coworker offered to share their room so we were able to stay. They had trouble with our room keys and mixed up another guest with our room but were able to sort it out quickly. Seem to have some operational challenges. Had our dog with us, and she was welcome with a nightly pet fee of only $20, which I find totally reasonable compared to the $50 I have spent elsewhere.

Restaurant has been updated, and there's now a spot near the front desk where you can get a snack and Starbucks coffee.

There's a small gym onsite, but much better is that as a guest you get access to the Movati gym next door - just be sure to pick up your pass from the hotel's front desk before you go.

I stayed in a suite and enjoyed having a fridge and microwave in the room.

I encountered a few issues during my stay but management showed appropriate concern.

Frankly if only in France we knew how to make Hotel like there !!
I had a suite !! for $ 110 a night (I had a price to stay 1 month)
Small living room, bedroom, bathroom with bathtub, kitchenette, fridge, microwave, coffee machine Office, 2 flat screens 1 in the bedroom and the other in the living room and not 60 as we have in France, 107 or more almost as big as mine at home
No seriously great Hotel the people are great we think we are at home, the restaurant says that you are French and the dishes will be very different than what they do for normal customers.
Ji is returning end of July 2013 and I can't wait said returned

Stayed at the Delta in Guelph for my son's wedding. The staff and accommodations were excellent. The hotel itself is wonderfully comfortable and surprisingly quiet. It was full the weekend we were there but I didn't hear any hallway noise at all. Also, upon providing my feedback to the GM I actually received a personalized reply. All around a good experience. I would recommend staying at this Delta.

Very nice rooms. Clean and modern. Impeccable service. The only downfall is the noise, i heard everything outside, to the point where I though my window was opened. But all around, a great experience.

Great staff, customer service, conference facilities and meals! Best place for all of the above in Guelph. Very comfortable guest rooms. Upgrade your self to the larger room. The "private" bedroom is great!

Clean and modern decor, friendly staff. But the breakfast buffet was a little expensive; paid $18 after tax for 2 half palm sized hash browns, a spoon full of yellow(eggs?) and a single piece of bacon. The coffee was also unanimously rated as un-drinkably poor by everyone at the table. To be fair I could have taken more as it was a buffet; Water was cold and fresh.

Probably one of the best hotels to stay in Guelph. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.

The hotel also has a small pool which I didn t try.

My one complaint is the $15 nightly parking charge. Most hotels in Guelph provide free parking. This hotel should have free parking as well.

You need a car at this hotel as only limited eating establishments are within walking distance.

The hotel room was clean the bed was comfortable and the customer service is very good. However there was nothing special to the room the bathroom was tiny and look like a stall the shower rod was rusted there is no room service now complementary breakfast not even the microwave in the room. Also no USB ports to charge your phone, and you have to pay for parking $15 per day. Will definitely not stay here again especially for how much they charged us for the room you would expect something more. The value of what you pay for does not equal what you get.

We were looking forward to staying at a luxury hotel but were very disappointed. The room was nice but offered nothing exceptional - bed, bath, TV, wifi and a small work area. The nightstand had so much dust on it we could (and did) write our names in it. The shower rod was very rusty and the shower lever was so difficult to lift that we almost had to take a bath. There was also a piece missing on the office chair provided. The Holiday Inn down the road is significantly less expensive with free parking (vs $15/night). Definitely will not return.

Our stay here was nice. The staff was amazing! A tad pricy for a stay, we got in Sunday evening left Wednesday Morning- with a bill of just under $950. That was no room service, no movies as the rooms do not offer any on their TV s (big disappointment), we did however charge a few small items from the confectionery to our room. A water, pop, a bag of m&m s and halls. We also had to pay a pet fee per night, as the Delta is pet friendly! Although we opted not to have housekeeping until after checking out due to the dog, so is $25x3 truly fair? (He didn t damage anything ie soil anything- they have a credit card on file) On our first night arriving we were exhausted. We settled the dog in the room to the in Hotel restaurant to eat, but to our disappointment there was a 2 hr wait due to staffing issues- obviously this applied to room service as well. We went out to dinner. Borealis, also located in Guelph. I highly recommend it! The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, coffee sucked! There were not many options for room service for either breakfast or dinner. As for lunch, you will be fending for yourself. The in house restaurant is not open. So be prepared to go out or order pizza or skip the dishes, I would rather more convenience from the places I stay.

I am a Marriott rewards member and have stayed at many of their hotels most with pools with hot tubs, free breakfast and free parking in Mississauga and Markham I might add. Here at the Delta in Guelph, no pool/hot tub, no free breakfast, no free parking, noisy are conditioning units in rooms. It is an impressive looking hotel that is priced high enough that at least some of the amenities I mentioned could/should be included?? The Fairfield Marriott in Guelph west on Hwy 6 is less expensive and has all the items I mentioned. Not as hoity toity as the Delta however far greater value and fun.

The room looked nice at first, but after my first night I woke up coughing and sneezing. Upon inspection I found multiple animal hairs in the bed, which I assume means that the sheets were not changed after the previous guest. I asked the front desk for new sheets, only to return at 11pm (more than 8 hours later) to find the bed untouched. I went down to the front desk again and was first told that yes, the sheet had been changed. When I explained that that could not be true because the bed was unmade and still had the hairs in it, the front desk agent went to check. When he returned, I was told that housekeeping came up and cleaned the bathroom and vacuumed the room, but didn't change the sheets because they looked at them and "they were fine". The gentleman at the front desk was very courteous and changed the bedding for me when I insisted that they were not clean, but I don't understand why it wasn't just done the first time. The dirty bedding alone was bad enough (and my allergies and asthma were miserable for the rest of my stay because of it), but then to have the entire room cleaned except for the one part I requested, and to be told initially that the sheets had been changed when they were not, was inexcusable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overpriced, under impressed. No pool on premises, $2 for keurig coffee in the lobby while a $80/night hotel has free coffee? Small things make this a 4 star hotel to avoid if you are looking for an enjoyable stay.

Only a one night stay, truthfully less than 12 hours. However, the check in process took less than 2 minutes, our room was clean and smoke free (check out my royal inn review).

I had to cancel a previous hotel due to cleanliness and smell of cigarette.

Check out was done before I even got up the next morning, I returned the keys and it was great. The bed was amazing. Overall great experience.
