Good Hotel but the carpets and paint are kind of old. Mind you I was in the conference side so maybe a lot of traffic took a toll on building.

The hotel is clean and the staff is great. Our son is attending U of G and we will definitely be staying here from now on when we visit him. There was a small problem with our room that the staff fixed immediately and apologized for the inconvenience without hesitation. I was really impressed with the staff and will be recommending this hotel to anyone who asks where to stay when visiting Guelph.

The location is excellent, easy to get to, and right across from the university.

The breakfast is super expensive and not a lot of choice. Which drastically drops the note.
Otherwise the room is large well equipped.

Really nice hotel. Food was great at their new bistro also! Nice rooms. Hope I get to stay here again!

We attended the convention centre for a dance competition. The centre was clean and inviting.

I recently held a lunch reception here and cannot overstate what a class act this place is. The service from start to finish was impeccable. Following that is my room stay -not quite as nice.
The sales process (Diana) started a week before my event on short notice. Given that, they were able to be flexible on pricing and able to put together a very nice menu on my budget. From there the event coordinator (Kim) took over and accommodated each of my requests, painstakingly updating our floor plan with each change. She followed all my instructions and subsequent execution was unflawed. Day of, Mike the food and beverage manager was a gentleman. He was such an ease to deal with, kind, helpful, going the extra mile without being asked to. He made event day smooth, and seamless.

The food was amazing! Several of my guests commented on this, one even telling me it was even better than what he'd had at the Ritz-Carlton. Desserts were great -not too sweet. A/V setup was flawless. Supplied decor was more than sufficient and with a few accents made it very nice. The decor is very versatile suited to weddings, banquets and meetings alike. Finishings (mirrors, walls, carpets, tiles...) are very nice, neutral but not sterile. Many of my guests commented that the wait staff was very friendly. Parking was comped for my guests which was a very nice touch. The night manager (Emmanuel/Moses) was a class act too, helping my other half with a last minute tech emergency.

After event follow-up was fantastic too. They care. Though I was a small customer, I was not treated as such.

In short, there is very little to complain about. Having said that, there were a few unforeseeable hiccups. Some non-guests had access to our food (but we had been given the opportunity to put the buffet in the hall rather than out). I heard (but did not see) the women's bathroom had a flood (but Mike apparently promptly took care of this). One chair cover had a small hole, that they (the staff) had noticed and corrected proactively. The parking was free, but the sign was beside the meter so some of my guests had paid (I had alerted them prior however).

I will be hosting my work events here going forward.

The room was booked as a honeymoon suite -no break on a very expensive rate when I had called. (Other places in town were thrilled to have a honeymoon stay and even offered free extras to surprise the bride with -champagne, chocolates, flowers.) I should have gone with them but chose proximity instead. The room was not terrible. It was tiny, but functional. My gripe was that the bathroom was not spic-and-span clean, nor the bed (gross 'debris' on stained sheet, hair in tub) :( For this type of stay, those are the only things that matter so we forewent the bubble bath. We had also had a flood as well -weird- that was being repaired by the hotel with bride in the room. Given the event, they should have moved us right away. While other guests were all friendly and happy at our event, there was no indication by the staff that we were celebrating. Disappointing, but not deal breakers. I'd give the room 3 stars.

I went to the Delta for a wedding expo. It was a good facility.

Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Staff are courteous and very helpful. Their business center was down and front desk clerk instantly offered to print off the documents that I needed. Here with a team and we are getting our dinners catered. Food is what is expected but is set up that it takes a while for a team of 40 athletes to go through.

Just returned from a conference there. Sound system was very poor. The stage that was requested wasn't set up before the convention. Would not recommend this facility.

Room is clean and tidy but the washroom is not well lit. A bit dark specially when you put the curtains for the shower on

Nice place i was there for xmas party all went well.

So far so good; rooms are nice, restaurant downstairs had really good food, took a bit to get to our table but I'd say the wait was worth it. WiFi connection was strong for what it is, all around nothing to complain about.

Nice hotel. Showers were a bit small and dated. Hotel restaurant buffet in the morning - all the plates were dirty.

Quality Marriott property with great location. The newly remodeled restaurant features locally sourced foods of hi quality.
Highly recommended if ur travels take u to Guelph ON Canada.

Great hotel, great food. Even good quality food sometimes can be paled in comparison to some places. This is one of those places.
