My daughter and I had all around a horrible experience. We came here to get much needed sleep which was impossible. The worst part of our experience at the hotel was the issue with the room being 77 degrees. I tried all night to turn the air conditioning on but it didn't work. The only other option is to open sliding door which has no screen so anyone or anything can join you in your room. I thought maybe the air conditioner was broke so I made a complainant to the front desk in the morning. I was told that when the temperature outside gets below 60 degrees the air conditioners are set not to turn on. This is great and all for their energy bill but we were stuck sleeping in a sauna. It was 30 degrees outside the night we stayed but our room temperature was 77 degrees in our room, I even took a picture of the therostat to show managment. The hotel clerk could care less that I just paid almost $200 for my daughter and I to sweat all night and not get a moment of sleep, bad customer service. It was also very noisy around this place.
Don't be fooled by the photos online, this is a old motel. They have updated furniture which maybe why the photos look so nice and modern but the pictures are decieving. I gave 1 star because I paid good money for us to have somewhere comfortable to sleep and that was impossible at this hotel/motel. I hate writing a bad review but want to help travelors avoid this experience.

This was the worst Best Western I have ever been. ...

This was the worst Best Western I have ever been. I spent $400 for two nights but after seeing the inhospitable room conditions (mold in shower, big stains on the carpet, thick musky smell, and curly black hairs on the sheets) I asked for a refund. I have followed up, emailed etc. trying to get a simple reimbursement for the 2 nights. I don't care if the reservation I made wasn't refundable. You as a business have the responsibility to uphold your end of the deal and provide the services or product as advertised. Furthermore, when the product I paid for is so bad it could possibly harm my health, it is your responsibility to compensate me for the inconvenience and frustration it caused me during my vacation time.

Such a nice hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights while we were in colorado and we could not have been more happy with the room and the service. The rooms were super clean and the service and the front counter was incredible. They had a nice pool and good breakfast options. You are also close to most of the action of denver and the rocky mountains but you are away enough to have both. Such an amazing time .

To be considered a 3 star hotel I think it felt fantastic. We were treated very well, rooms were clean and employees were extremely supportive. By the way, I have to admit they offered us one of the best breakfast I've gotten at a 3 star in my life.

Loved our stay here. Very clean & comfortable. Walking distance to Colorado University Boulder Campus. Great view of the flat irons. Awesome breakfast and friendly staff. Nice pool, indoor hot tub, and fireplace in the lobby. Also a close walk to the bus stop. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Very helpful & friendly front desk staff with great attitude; the gym is in a separate building and there's an outdoor pool in the courtyard which I believe is heated & an indoor jacuzzi/hot tub. It's walkable to the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Spacious room, very clean!! I love the fruit at breakfast, mixed berries to scoop, whole bananas. Relaxing jacuzzi, wish it had stronger jets. Nice-sized pool for this level of hotel, desk people are VERY helpful and friendly. Nice view of the Rockies!

Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable and the room was pretty nice. Their breakfast buffet is tasty and had a good variety, including eggs, waffles and fresh fruit. They also had some bikes available to use for free which is a great way to explore Boulder (take the creek path!)

Well-appointed rooms with private outdoor spaces (patio/balcony) in a great location. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Clean rooms, helpful staff, and a respectable breakfast. Would absolutely stay again.

I am absolutely appalled over the management at this property.

Myself and a coworker (from another Best Western hotel) stayed at this location a couple of weeks ago and were extremely disappointed. Because it was an unforeseen trip, it was booked very last minute which left us with this property being our only option. I planned to use points that I had accumulated which came to a total of 32,000 or 38,000 per night. It was more than I was hoping it would be but the website had great photos and it seemed to be worth it.
The property itself is in very sad shape.
I won t go into details because there were so many things that needed attention and I felt it best to share it with the manager. I voiced all of these concerns through Medallia, which is a private rating system that goes directly to the hotel property and hopefully to management. I was very direct and forthcoming with the issues that we had during our stay.
What did I receive in response?
A generic message (that we have the option of using at our property) with absolutely no accountability.
What did my GM do when google asked her review on the property?
She gave her honest feedback. old, dated, broken
The response that she received from the manager and other parties was atrocious.
Claiming that their property has less to do with appearance and is only about location is truly a shame in the business mentality in the sense that you aren t going to get a whole lot of return guests.
Shaming her for putting a review online because she is a GM for another property. I don t think there is a secret code for not rating other properties when the experience was less than desirable and their chance to make it right fell extremely short.
Unprofessional and extremely disturbing.

Nice hotel, although a little old. It did look like they were preparing a renovation based on all containers full of new furniture in the parking lot. Location next to the highway was nice and access was good. The breakfast was the standard fare but was good tasting which goes a long way. The room although older was furnished nicely and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, especially if visiting CU as it was across the street.

Best Western Boulder is a lovely and comfortable hotel. The breakfast options are fantastic though because the restaurant is in a separate building it did mean we had to dress up warm just to run from our room to the dining room in the snow! Although the pool was closed due to weather, we managed to use the hot tub which was pleasant but had no spa/jet functions and felt a little unclean. The beds are enormous and comfortable and the staff are very pleasant. It is very close to the college campus but a little too far out from central Boulder to walk into town. Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

We always stay at the Best Western when we are in Boulder. It is in walking distance of CUB, the hotel is very well run, the rooms are good, the staff is great, the breakfast good, access to local stores and restaurants is easy.

I stayed in a room with AC not working in the middle of the summer heat. The staff did offer a new room but when I walked into that room it smelled like marijuana! Horrible experience with my small kids. In addition for breakfast all they had was oranges. I have been a long time supporter of Best Western but at this point I will not be doing business with you all.

I've stayed at this hotel several times, arranged for wedding guests to stay here, and for participants of a conference to stay here as well. The hotel is next to the CU Boulder campus, and has a great view of the Flatirons, making it very convenient location-wise. The manager is also always a pleasure to work with. This will always be my go-to hotel in the Boulder area.

The front desk clerk was very kind, helpful, and had a good sense of humor. He was able to check is in nearly 4 hours earlier and on sort notice, changed our room to allow us a pet friendly one. However, there was no recognition of being a Diamond Member.
It is also obvious that they are or have recently renovated. In our specific room, some of the wallpaper was falling off; there were stains and sticky spots; and the floor was crooked. The showers water pressure was too hard and only two pressure options (hard or harder...)
The beds need replaced as you were sleeping directly on the springs and they were quite hard. The pillows were great, as well as the patio. The lobby was fantastic with a nice warm fire place and very comfy couches. The room had an adequate amount of outlets and USB charging stations.
We were unable to use the breakfast vouchers as I had to be to the hospital for surgery by 06:30.
The room only had a fridge and Keruig - no microwave.

Absolutely stellar service. Hospitality at its finest. The rooms were clean, the beds soft! (I prefer a slightly firmer bed - but no back pain). Great location. I would return here and recommend to friends

Extremely friendly and professional staff. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We had a small problem with the door handle of our room and there was no maintenance there to fix it at that hour, but they quickly and efficiently moved us into another room. Beautiful pool and scenery if you get on the right side of the building.

Nicest Best Western I have stayed at. My girlfriend has a therapy dog and she was able to be at the hotel for free. The king bed was very comfortable and the room was slightly above average for hotel rooms. Mini fridge worked well. Good bathroom and shower. Halls smelled a little weird but all in all pretty good. Did not use the pool but many people were and looked like they were having fun

Looks like you took my comment really harsh and hateful because I didn t like my stay. And for some reason you think I m a employee at the millennium hotel.(when I live in Milwaukee) You are very rude and unprofessional. And I hope people see this and see how unprofessional you are. I will be calling the manger and you will hear about this. How rude of you guys. That s not how you run a business.

Total dump. I booked this place to stay and only intended to rest from 11:30pm-3:30am. I planned to wake up early and drive to Rocky Mountain National Park to see the sunrise. I ended up only staying until 1:30am. When I got there there were 6 police officers raiding a "hotel room". A guy was walking his dog with a rope, not a leash. It's one of those hotels where people LIVE. I just don't get it. They call this place "luxury" but it's more like short term housing with a few designated "hotel rooms".

The floors were dirty, the sheets had dog hair all over. I'm allergic to dogs so I tried to sleep sitting up. But people outside the room were getting into arguments and cursing each other out. The walls were so thin and it kept sounding like someone was trying to get into my room. Finally I bolted. At 1:30am when Boulder had been asleep and shut down, the best western was hopping. As a lone female traveller, I was not comfortable at all. As I was leaving, the guy whose room had been raided earlier in the night was out walking and winked at me. Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Stay away. Luxury my a$s.

Location, location, location is the best thing ab...

Location, location, location is the best thing about this inn for me. Two of our kids live at Spanish Towers which is right next door. We have spent about 3 weeks at this place so far this year.

There is a pool which is open and beautiful. The hot tub is not open. Breakfast is grab and go but only for certain hours. There are pictures on the walls with inspirational quotes of famous people. The lady at the front desk in the morning is an absolute gem. She deserves a raise.

We do not stay at this hotel for perfection. In the room we stayed in over labor day, the shower curtain rod was screwed in crookedly which results in the shower curtain laying further into the tub. The spray nozzle is also not centered over the tub. There aren't the right number of curtain rings for the curtain. There's only one small garbage for the whole room and it's black so hard to see in the dark. There was no microwave. (But we asked for and then paid extra to get one.) There's only 1 lamp. The temperature in the room is set super hot and it's hard to sleep. The 1st couple nights were set at 67 degrees and then after the snow storm the temperature in the room would not go below 71 degrees.

The bed was comfortable and clean and smelled relaxing. Many wonderful pillows.
There was no trouble asking for clean towels. All of the staff were very nice.
The wifi works well and thank goodness as hubby had to work. We had absolutely no trouble with our room keys working which is a concern at many other hotels.

The beds are extremely comfortable and having a porch is nice. The air conditioning wasn't working during record heat in this area. So if you like a nice cold room this is not for you. The breakfast choices were excellent but there's an older lady that watches over you like your doing something wrong. We've traveled best western across the country and never had hot rooms and someone breathing down your neck for breakfast. The bed and shower were lovely but again unable to take hot showers due to heat of room.

Nice Chic Inn with views of the boulder flat Irons. Nice walk out porch for enjoying during your stay. table on the porch was dirty, but otherwise rest of room was recently remodeled and nicely furnished. If you like sleeping on a soft Pillow type mattress your in luck because you will sink right inn! Conveniently located right off of 36 and is only 30 min northwest of Denver and about 5 min from Celestial Seasonings, or the flat Irons Park. Nice outdoor pool with a Hot Tub that is located in another building next to the pool. They have another building where their Breakfast, conference room and Exercise room is located. Breakfast is typical of BW hotels, has a machine that makes hot cocoa and different coffee's but it has a funky taste like they use goats milk or something that is dairy free. They had muffins that i would believe were Gluten Free as it tasted like almond flower which our kids didn't like. They did have lots of Bacon which was nice but it tasted like it was just heat and serve not fresh. the exercise room was Great as it has everything one would want and then some!
The Enterance was one of the best looking parts of the hotel but no welcoming drinks or snacks for kids other than what was in our basket.
No Tea in the room but the staff was able to help get me 2 packets of different kinds of Tea and they didn't have hot Chocolate available for the kids as they have become spoiled when traveling to other hotels. The halls of the hotel have nice paintings, Sculptures in some areas, and fresh flowers in certain areas.
