Would definitely recommend staying here. The room was clean with a balcony you can go relax on, bed was super comfy. They have an outdoor heated pool but the hot tub was indoors. The breakfast was a little odd as you had to go into another building but they have a coffee machine where you can make lattes, cappuccino, etc. The decor was excellent, a splash of purple everywhere.

Overpriced pictures make it look way nicer then it really is. There s barely any doors to get into the hotel you have to go out your way. And you have to go. To a hole different building for breakfast it s a waste of time. Rooms are small. No privacy on the balcony and nothing nice to really nice unless your facing the pool.

I'm no stranger to hotels. During these branch covidian times, they are my getaway go-to. This hotel is A1. Karin, Jessica, Jen are all so very kind and accommodating.
The rooms are pristine, the beds are akin to sleeping on heaven's pillows. Keurig machines for tea and coffee, a clean gym. Pharmacopia toiletries. Great water pressure in the shower. Wood floors. Frigs in every room.
Cannot recommend staying here enough. Grand Hyatt Downtown is nice, IMHO, this hotel is better.
Those purple majestic mountains are the icing on the cake.
13/10. Highly, highly recommend.

We really enjoyed finding this hotel in Boulder. The staff was very accommodating, and the rooms were very clean. The price, location and views are willing to consider while in Boulder without paying a higher price at other properties. Beds were very comfortable!

So I booked an Air b&b that turned out to be disgusting so I quickly booked a room here. I was completely happy with my stay. Hotel was clean and the breakfast was probably the best I have ever had. Friendly staff and I m picky and hard to please lol plus my dog was allowed so that was a big plus! Would definitely recommend. Only downside is I could hear the people upstairs moving around through the night but wasn t enough to turn me off staying again!

What a lovely "best kept secret" treasure of Boulder we discovered this weekend! With just the right amount of elegance (not over the top or down in the dumps). Everything balanced out beautifully as you would expect when considering the return on your investment and, the Customer Service was actually 5-Star quality and those staff members could certainly coach the front desk staff at The Stanley Hotel.

There were 2 beds in our room. My wife slept in one and I the other the first night. She slept fine. The next night we both slept in her bed. The only reason I didnt say something was because she told me not to make a fuss.

This is a good, clean hotel super close to CU-Boulder. We walked there in under 15 minutes. Rooms and look are a little dated , but that adds to the charm.

The front desk clerks were a great balance of professionalism and nice, the lobby spotless, and the room clean. The tub was a little dated and the bed a little less comfortable than expected, but I was much more relaxed here than I had been all week at a prior hotel, and that says a lot. My one major complaint is that the TV had an automatically determined volume button, so whenever I turned the TV back on, I jumped because the volume was much louder than I would leave it. I would stay here again.

Great location - easy access to the highway and Pearl Street. As many others stated, the rooms could use some updating (the pictures on the website do not match the rooms!), the bathroom lighting is very dim, and the walls are thin (you can hear others showering and using the restroom). Additionally, the cleaning service could have used some improvement. We did not have a "Do Not Disturb" sign, so if we wanted a little extra peace in the morning we had to use our sign that indicated we did not want our room cleaned that day, which was inconvenient. At one point we had to find a cleaning cart and take toilet paper off of it because our bathroom was not restocked. You will only receive two towels for the bathroom, so be prepared to request extras if you like to use two towels when you shower.
Breakfast was wonderful - a little variety each day, and we loved the fresh fruit. However, you are given breakfast cards/tickets, and there is one woman who works in the breakfast area who takes them very seriously - you almost have to apologize if you go early/come back later just for coffee and explain that's the only thing you're there for, as she will not allow you to eat without your breakfast ticket.
Overall, it was a decent hotel and served our purpose well.

Never stay here - I left my $200 adidas shoes behind, called their hotel to which the manager on the phone checked with housekeeping, found my shoes and said he would mail them out using the credit card on my file.
I waited over a month for them in the mail, called back several times and then the manager proceeded to tell me that the shoes were never found in the first place.
Invest the extra money and stay in a better place.

Wow, I was really impressed. My brother made the reservations for my family so I didn't know what to expect. It has a modern lodge feel with double sided fireplaces and stone walls. Clean rooms, comfy beds. It was quiet even though it's close to a highway.

Stayed here on 7/13/18 & 7/14/18. I travel often and have stayed at everything from above a 4-seasons to below a Super-8. The staff and management's attitude make or break any hotel and with the right attitude the staff can make you feel like a Super-8 is a Four Seasons. THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF AT THIS BEST WESTERN WERE BEYOND HELPFUL, HOSPITABLE AND DOWN RIGHT FRIENDLY. FROM THE MANAGER BEHIND THE DESK TO THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF WERE NOTHING BUT SMILES & HAPPINESS! The hotel is right on the edge of campus and walking distance to any immediate needs. You may find a more elegant room or grounds but YOU WILL NOT find better people. Only odd thing is the property and position of the pool on the grounds but once you're sitting out there you don't even realize it (pool is kind of adjacent to the parking lot, no grass areas at this hotel). 5 stars for attitude, service and smiles!

Great place to stay. All of the amenities, friendly, kind staff. Clean rooms, a quiet place overall. Pool looked awesome, although wish we could've given it a swim. A great spot for a hotel amongst other things, a perfect view to walk out to when leaving the hotel if you're a vacationer. Upon checking out, we were able to just leave our cards and the staff would handle it when they could (the lady was on the phone). They gave us some leigh way on our check out time, being that we woke up late. Would definitely stay here again next trip!

We were there near the end of July, shortly before college kids moved in. They charged an exorbitant rate for rooms at this time, which wouldn't have been so bad if the hotel was in normal condition. However, a large portion of the hotel was under construction such made finding things a mess, and the breakfast was very low quality.
On the plus side, the cleaning crew was friendly and our rooms were in decent condition. But that quality can be found in other hotels around town for a much cheaper price.

Place is definitely not in the Plus category. Nice location and breakfast but the rooms are just so-so and place is a bit worn. No dirty clothes bag furnished and defective coffee machine took 4 calls and two days to get a working one. Bathroom areas are very small and no towel racks in the sink area. I would look elsewhere.

Let me explain why only one star! My husband, I and our 3 children recently stayed at this establishment. While the front desk staff and housekeeping staff were kind, the gentleman with brown hair working the breakfast (did not get his name) was very rude. We went down as a family to eat breakfast with the intention of letting the kids swim afterwards. My children did not wear shoes, nor was there a sign anywhere requiring shoes to enter the 'breakfast' room. The lady greeted us and we started making our plates. The man walked out an immediately yelled at my children stating they could not be in there without shoes. We felt as if the whole room could hear what he was saying. I sent my children back to the room to get shoes, to receive a call from my oldest that they were embarrassed and did not want to come back down. I went to front desk to complain, and he said he would pass it along. My complaint was the way my children were treated, along with NO signs being posted anywhere that shoes are required. I made my children face their, and come back down for breakfast. After all, it was paid for, and with the rates of the room we were for sure going to get what we paid for.
I get that it's requirement of the board of health. My biggest complaint is that why are there not any signs posted, and why were my children humiliated? I have stayed at other Best Western establishments, and I, myself, have gone down for breakfast without shoes. I have never been told they are a requirement. As far as that goes, I have never been told shoes are required at any of the establishments we have stayed at, even
the Embassy Suites. Since this is a board of health requirement, I would think that signs would be posted somewhere. Also, the gentleman could have kindly approached my husband and I to advise of the requirements, rather than yelling at my children so loud that other patrons could hear.
The other reason why I gave this Establishment a 1 star is because of the rooms. They are not near as nice as the front desk lobby area. The air conditioner did not work, and was very loud. It sounded as if the fan was going out, and vibrated all night. We ended up having to open the sliding door just to get some cool air in the room. Again, we advised the front desk, who said they would PASS the word on.
For the price this hotel is not worth the room you stay in.
On a positive note....my children did enjoy the pool area. They were amazed of the depth, as the other hotels we have stayed have never been 9ft deep. they also loved the hot tub. The seating was very nice, and the waterfall area was beautiful. Just wish the rooms were as nice, and we would not have had the bad experience at breakfast.

Everything was great minus the uncomfortable beds and dirty hot tub. The front staff was super friendly and welcoming - told us about great locations to go in Colorado since we are from out of state. They explained all the amenities and always said hello when we stopped over. The cleaning staff was friendly, but kept to themselves. The breakfast was the best part - great choices and delicious! The breakfast staff was very friendly and kind. The waffle mix is THE BEST! I was craving it when we got back home to Minnesota. My husband and I spent 5 nights at the hotel. We enjoyed our room minus the uncomfortable hard bed. Neither of us could get comfortable. While our stay we went to the hot tub once in the separate building - as soon as we got in we noticed how nasty and dirty it was. There was hair, dust and other random things floating around including a hair tie on the bottom of the tub by the vent. If we travel to Colorado again we will choose a different location for a more comfortable bed - worth the cost! Especially when you are in the car driving for 13 + hours. My back was all sorts of messed up when we left on the 6th day.

The area this hotel is in is very congested. We had difficulty finding the hotel in the town because no GPS, One way streets etc caused confusion. But the hotel is very comfurtable. Wonder what it must be like though to leave the hotel in winter to get breakfast in another building.

Definitely not worth the expense! This was a recently renovated hotel, but you can tell corners were cut. Bathroom door will not close without opening the sliding shower door to get the handle out of the way, and laminate wood floors are buckled in places. If you have to stay here, I suggest 2nd floor since 1st floor feels a bit below ground level and somewhat dark and dank (ground slopes back from lobby level). Staff was very nice, but of course they do not control the prices or remodeling effort.

Here on business. Brought my daughter. All the staff were kind and considerate. Our neighbors were very loud and the staff kindly let them know they needed to leave.
The bed was really hard. I had a hard time sleeping, but the guys I'm traveling with really like the beds. The pillows are awesome. Some firm, some soft and squishy. 4 pillows per queen bed.
I used the Internet everyday from the room. I was able to connect but I kept losing connection. Had to reconnect to the internet multiple times in an hour sometimes. Which was a little frustrating while I was working and while my daughter was attending school form the room. Lost connection twice while typing this out.

EDIT: To the "owner" (who is really just the director of sales) of this trash hotel: take your own advice and don't try to use ad hominem attacks in order to deflect from your property's shortcomings. I was nice enough to give this dump 3 stars because at least there weren't needles lying around, and your staff seemed pretty nice. If anyone is questioning whether or not they should stay here, look at the ridiculously unprofessional resposnse from this joke of a place. Read the negative reviews that haven't been taken down and really take them into consideration. Also, I have only used the word ghetto one other time to describe a location, and that's because it IS. Looking at my other reviews, you'd see that I am honest, fair, and leave more positive reviews than negative. If I leave a negative review, it's because that place DESERVES it. But, nice to know you're stalking me, "Ari Rubin". Hey ARI, question: do you personally attack ALL negative reviewers, or just the non-white ones?? See how that works. IF YOU DON'T WANT PEOPLE'S HONEST OPINIONS, DON'T ASK THEM TO MAKE A GOOGLE REVIEW!!
Here's my orginal, unedited/unaltered review: The hotel itself is pretty ghetto. The walls are so thin, you hear EVERYTHING, I mean everything! You can hear what your neighbors are doing in the bathroom, you hear every single time ANYONE comes and goes. The hallways to the rooms smell musty and the carpet looks filthy. Everything is cheap quality and kinda gross. The beds and pillows are super uncomfortable. The flooring in our room was uneven, it felt like potholes underneath the carpet. They leave your patio door open before you check in, so any vagrant could have been hanging out in your room before you got there. (Our room was on the first floor and those patio doors lead to the parking lot) I would only stay here if it were the last option.

Used this hotel for a visit to NOAA. Can't beat this hotel for the convenience to NOAA, a 6-minute drive during rush hour. The hotel has a surprising number of in room amenities like robes and full toiletries selection. The rooms themselves were huge.
The breakfast buffet came with my room. I enjoyed the variety of foods, but not sure I would have paid the posted $15 fee. However, the lady managing the breakfast buffet wasn't super-friendly, especially as some guests need the coffee before they're thinking efficiently.

The photos of the hotel are a bit different than the in-person quality. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. But the rest of the room was not cleaned to much of a standard at all. The floor in the bathroom had visible stains. Bothersome stains were also found on the doors and walls as well. Things were not restocked and some of the amenity items, upon arrival, were damaged or opened. The hotel common areas smelled of cigarette smoke. It just didn t feel clean, especially for the price.

We always look forward to staying at any best western when we travel, they're pet friendly and the rooms are always clean. However our stay at this location wasn't the greatest, the room we happened to stay in had weed residue all over the nightstand table and had a fridge full of beer. One of the beds in the room had "dog juice" stains on the comforter, along with a couple of pillows that were smeared with dry dog drool (not cool when you travel with kids). Thankfully we were able to get a different room which was clean.

This hotel is rated a three star hotel. We have stayed here for a family reunion for many years. Every year it has gotten better than the last. One year it had better beds, the next year it had gotten better carpet, another it has an upgraded bathroom, another year a better TV, another year new curtains, another year better pool furniture, and this year a refrigerator in the room. Whoever maintains this place has really upgraded it. We are always happy with the friendly staff. Even the maintenance will happily assist you. The front desk personnel will help you find place to eat and play. For a 3 star hotel the quality is excellent. I have stayed in many Best Westerns and many Best Western Plus'. This one is one of the best.

Had to detour and stay the night beCause of a snowstorm - I was honestly shocked by this place . I found it on hotels tonight and it had great ratings otherwise I would have never chosen a best western - it was super duper clean , incredible service from the front desk , has a fitness center ....
