there was road construction...it said heated pool that was not true...dirty carpet and very dirty windows, also..no gym as promised - under construction...never again for us...Manager has to be fired!!!!!

It's not expensive. I've stayed here before and was satisf6. The rooms are small enough to give it a cozy feel. Especially the bathrooms. The breakfast is pretty good for what you pay for.

The only issues that I had was the A/C and the bathroom.

The A/C was in a position that didn't allow the air to hit the rest of the room. I ended up having to move a table to get the airflow going. A room that I rented in the past had the air hitting a mattress that was inches away and didn't allow for proper circulation.

As the door the bathroom, the shower drains extremely slow and the bathroom vent moves air even slower. I have to have the bathroom light/fan running non-stop to keep air moving at the sink and the bathroom or it gets humid.

Nice rooms, good location, good value. Hotel in a nice area with lots of shopping nearby.

No Hot water, other than that it was a good place to stay

Overall I enjoyed the stay. Kind staff and a very clean and updated room!! Also, its in a great location by restaurants, shopping, and I-10 access. Unfortunately the AC in my particular room sounded like a small truck idling at the foot of my bed every 20 minutes. I didnt sleep well.

Please BEWARE! This hotel is infested with bed bugs. We pulled down the sheets as soon as we got in our room because we were going go to take a nap and found them.

Not satisfied, old noisy heater, smelly room, won't go back there.

The rooms were really clean and had a built in heater/air conditioner. They had free breakfast in the morning and the staff was really helpful with all our needs. They were also eco friendly and had a sign that said to put the towels you wanted washed on the floor. The breakfast was really good too.

The staff was great. The people at the front were able to reserve the room I wanted at last notice. Thank you Best Western, we'll be coming back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Goodyear Best Western. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful.
The only problem was with the key cards, which staff remedied each time.
We would definitely stay here again.

Woke up at 3 am Itchy ??? and couldnt get back to sleep. Then tried to take a shower but there was no hot water. Called down to front desk and was told that i was more than welcome to leave

Was a nice hotel clean rooms nice strong hot shower. But the air conditioners in the room needs some work. Other than that great place to stay

Honestly best service ever. I ve stayed at a BW over in Kansas City ,safford and now in Goodyear. I recommend this place to my father since his ac broke down so he needed a room over the night I booked it for him staff was amazing room was so nice. I will keep booking with you guys

Hotel staff is great, but the hotel is very run down and needs some remodeling. As much as we travel, we always look for a Best Western plus but will not return to this location. It does not compare to all the others. Best Western you can do better at this location.

The property is an older property, but well maintained, seemed to have a full staff and they seemed very busy most of the time. We didn't use the pool or the exercise facility, the pool looked very nice. The bedding was clean, though it looked older and we were given only one large towel, one hand towel and one wash cloth each, and the quality was mediocre. The breakfast menu was not as extensive as other Best Westerns we've visited recently, and the check-in staff was pretty ho-hum though we are long time loyal Best Western users - they forgot to extend the use of our key when we extended our stay for an extra day - not a big deal, but caused some inconvenience.

We always stay here when traveling back and forth to Texas. We are always welcomed with a big smile, no matter what time we get in. Rooms are comfortable and our dog is accepted. We get breakfast before we start for the day, which is really nice.

Advertised work out room but it was closed permanently. Blower on heating/cooling unit vibrated unit while running.

Didn't stay long but the room was nice and the beds were nicely made

It was clean, comfortable beds. Its really quiet. The breakfast was good. The only thing was the pool wasn't clean but it was too cold to swim so no big deal. I will definitely stay again

Safe clean place to spend the night or a week 1/2mi south of,I-10 on Litchfield Rd in Goodyear
And the pool is always clean and cool

We had a great experience, room clean and quiet, staff friendly. BUT when i looked at my credit card statement there was a $25.00 charge over and above what we paid for the room. When we called the Goodyear Best Western receptionist, she said the charge would be removed in 3 to 5 days. Could not tell us why it was on there in the first place.

We were in Arizona for our sons wedding. My husband and I stayed at this location many years ago, were happy with it and we had 2 other families that stayed at Best Western.

Room was larger than expected. Staff very friendly and helpful. Descent spread for the free breakfast. Very good value

I usually stay there when I come to AZ because my family stays in the area. However the last time I stayed, their was a incident with the breakfast hostess. The food was running out. I asked if she would be putting out. Her reply was No, I'm short staff and we should of came in earlier. But there was still bread items that we could eat. We had a large family gathering and I sent the guest to another hotel in Avondale. Because of the treatment at this Best Western

Stay was awful, No hot water for duration of four night stay. Only discounted to what would be a base rate which was no discount at all for one of the four nights. Will not ever stay here again, and will think hard about staying at a Best Western again

The staff are real Professionals. They smile and treat me with respect. The facility is clean and the king size bed sleeps great. This is a great location. God Bless One America!!!

The staff was absolutely wonderful. Only downside, the jacuzzi was not heated.

Hotel needs a lot of repairs and cleaning, pigeons all over, poop a over stairs, windows and air-conditioning unit

It was a decent day got up real early had to leave so we didn't really get to enjoy my hot breakfast but it smelled really good

2 stars for breakfast and the water shut off in the middle of a shower.

Good, clean hotel with a very good staff. Hotel is an older style building but has been updated along the way to make it pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast was above average with a good selection of hot items and a nice breakfast room. Overall a good choice for the area.

Won't stay here again,first the trucker who left a load in the toilet must of ate a dead Kitty and the rude man who tried to unclog the toilet made our room stink all night. We wanted our money back our a different room and they said NO !!! And now we got bed bugs in our new home... Thanks Best Western

Extremely nice service, host were friendly the server at breakfast was kind and very attentive. It was a last minute stay from a very tiring trip and the beds were great, everything was in its place and quiet! Will definetely stay again if I need.

A yearly place to spend a week for Spring Training. Free breakfast and rooms are fairly priced.

We visited some friends ther about a year ago when there was a restaurant and bar. We alwas stay a Best Western Plus hotels and I made reservations without checking deeper
I was shocked by the looks of the place and the lack of amenities. Then we were told the pool would be closed for a week.
We were late for an Easter party and my wife wanted out of there . It was late and I needed sleep. Early Sunday church and visited friends with a pool. We decided to stay as long as we had friends houses to spend the day and evening and on our last day got out as soon as we could.
The PLUS on all the signs were blacked out with tape.
From now on I'll triple check everything.....

The hotel and room was clean and presentable. The service was good.

We ve stayed here 2 times in the last month and both times we ve been kept up all night by drunk people yelling, honking horns, hitting the walls , the rooms smell terrible! Do not recommended !! Steer clear of this place !

Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, easy location access, safe.

Bathroom area was spotless. Everything in my room was clean EXCEPT the carpet. Got out of the shower...went to get something on the bed. By the time I got back to the sink, the bottom of my feet were dirty..not just dirty but BLACK. Family had 3 rooms here and everyone saw the same problem. I had to wash my feet again before getting ready to go out. I could not believe how black the soles of my feet were. Awful.

My name is Bertha Chavarin-Penuelas. I graduated from Agua Fria High School. I m a single mother of two kids. I m a very hard working women. I will always do more than expected anywhere I go. I used to be a house keeper for Best Western for about 6 months. Today I finally had enough. Theirs multiple reasonsns on why I left;However,my first reason was because of the head of housekeeping. She is a liar who believes her own lies. In other words she s a compulsive liar. She s also very manipulating. She would go around telling each housekeeper lies that the other house keeper said so we would all hate each other. At first when I was new I would believe this women,but as months went by I started to realize that they were all lies. She even told lies about my own personal life to the other housekeepers.This women is evil. She told everyone that I punched her and pushed her. Never in a million years would I do something like that. I can see why women don t last here. My last hotel had tons of housekeepers but this hotel doesn t and I can clearly see why. She s evil. This is not something you can fix,this is a disorder. You can t be happy aroung unhappy people.

My second reason on why I left was because it s very unprofessional. The head of house keeping which is Noemi Rivera only checks rooms when she feels like it. Most of the time she doesn t. I have observed this many times. I Left food inside the fridge on purpose to see if she really checks. I went back with another housekeeper who has been there for years and the food was still in there. This was after she checked. I can see why we didn t pass the state inspection. This women is basically just getting paid for doing nothing. At the other hotel that I ve worked at I would see the head of housekeeping helping with at least something. Never have I seen this women help with anything. Even when I had 20 rooms she wouldn t even ask me what do I need from the laundry. No help what so ever.

I can go on,but I will stop here. May God bless the other housekeepers and I hope they find a different job or hotel. Because jobs theirs everywhere. And I also hope they speak up and talk to the owner I have told them many times but I think they are afraid. God bless

The hotel is a bit old, but that is to be expected of a budget hotel. Shabby is the word that comes to mind. There is apparently a huge pest problem, as the front desk reported they couldn't do anything about the three pigeons nesting on the ledge outside my window. They had "tried everything" and said it was just that time of year and they're on all the rooms. Never mind the fact that I could see 6 other rooms from my window and lo and behold, mine was the only one with pigeons!

Great budget stay, make sure to bring noise cancelling earplugs if you dont want to wake up at dawn to the sound of pigeons 6 feet from your head.

Quiet, wonderful breakfast in older part of Goodyear. Things need to be upgraded on this property. Torn curtain, dirty carpets and old blankets, also ripped pool chairs. A spa would be good by the pool.

Nice hotel. Clean. A little dated. Beds comfortable. Room clean. Did not use pool..breakfast was great ..eggs. Sausage. Breads muffins. Cereals. Waffles. Yogurt. Juice.

The hotel was very nice, the staff was very kind, however on an HOT AZ afternoon you should tell people that your pool is temporarily closed. Don't let us go to our rooms, change into our suits and get to the pool only to read a sign!!!!

The suite wasn't what I expected according to the website pictures.

Very good value for the money! The room was very nice, the bed was super comfortable and we thought the breakfast was super yummy. I would recommend this hotel!

Card keys weren t working so we couldn t get into our rooms because they re key machine was down. They made the hotel guests on the second floor try to get into there re own rooms through the window with a ladder. We didn t have hot water for 2 days and after all the complaints they went room by room trying to find an excuse to charge the guests extra for there stay. Overall worst hotel I ve been in.

We stayed here for the first time when on the road traveling through. We are Diamond Select members.

Pros: The price. It's spring training season. Almost every good hotel was full. If they had a room available they wanted over 300 a night. Crazy. Best Western came through with a room for under 125 a night.
The staff: They were all friendly and helpful.
Cleanliness: The bathroom and bedding were very clean.
The lobby: Updated and very nice.
The grounds: Lovely landscaping and clean.

Cons: Outdated and dark carpeting. Mattresses were okay, could be better.
Breakfast was good, but not on par with other Best Westerns we've stayed at in Arizona and New Mexico.

Overall, we would stay again, but would request a room on the ground floor. Lugging all our baggage up and down the stairs was not good on our backs.

Very reasonable rates, very comfy orthopedic beds. Pool. Continental free breakfast. Food& shopping within walking distance. 2 blocks off I-10 freeway. 1 block to Cancer center of america.

Nice clean hotel,great service and sweet employee's,both the men and women. I will be returning on my next vacation.

Only got four stars because power went out during stay and hotel had no way to remediate the loss. It gets very hot In Phoenix in July.

They were THE VERY BEST STAFF we've ever had the pleasures of knowing. Very attentive to our EXTRAORDINARY NEEDS & CIRCUMSTANCES.

The room smelled like mold and mildew. AC barely worked. And the day after check out they charged me 150.00 for smoking and damage to room when I know there was no damage and I didn't smoke in the room. Hotel is a RIP off. They over charge for rooms, there is no kind of security the doors on either end of building I was in never locked so anybody could come in. Will never stay at this motel again. Worse places I've ever stayed.

A good stop. Rebecca and check in lady we're very personable and helpful. Had never been to Goodyear before so answered questions and added suggestions. .... We never could get WiFi to work. On way to dinner the front desk got the iPad online. When we returned the iPad wouldn't work in the room. ... When we returned from dinner the porch light wasn't on, struggled to see to unlock the door. I suspect the timer for light needed to be adjusted for earlier darkness. I would suggest a photo cell control to turn on at dusk, off at morning. It's what I have on my house.

So my aunt and i had to stay in goodyear feb13th and 14th 2018 due to my aunt having surgery. So we get into our room and every thing is going well. I drop something on the floor and it fell over by the bed I was sleeping on so i go to pick it up and there's this big hole in the wall.i was like auntie we need a different room. So i look around a little more and there's an inch of dirt everywhere. I go up and tell the front desk and they put us in a different room. So we walk into this room and there's dirt again. Auntie decide to check the bathroom. She screamed so loud. Check the toilet she yells. Yep there's about 3 or 4 logs in there and it wont flush. One person came to try and fix it but she couldn't and never came back. So i go up to the front desk one more time. I tell them I'm ready for an upgrade now but they weren't you to have that. So this is room number 3. I get no upgrade no comp nothing but a smaller room with no towels. I will never stay here again and would never tell my friends or family that this was a great place to stay. My aunt is on a fixed income and the rooms cost120 a night. She was so upset going into surgery she wanted me to get her money back but they wouldn't refund her anything.

Only thing bad about the whole experience is that you have no good cellphone reception and The Wi-Fi Internet is horrible
