When I made my reservation they failed to tell me that there was a $150 deposit if I paid by cash shouldn't matter if you pay by cash or card should not be a $150 deposit

Not sure why there's not the possibility to respond to an owner / manager's reply, but to whoever from Green Tree Inn responded to my review: My husband WAS quoted a rate of $89.00 per day during Kentucky Derby Week during his stay there last November and December. He was later told by another employee of your motel that the particular employee who quoted him was "brand new, and she did not know that rates went up during Derby Week." So please don't confuse the issue, and try and make it sound like my husband did not understand the rates. The biggest thing we do not understand is why you would charge such outrageous rates a full week before the Derby. We've stayed there for many years during that time , with extended stays (we usually come in probably 5 days before the regular Derby crowd arrives) and the motel has always been near empty during that time. That said, we have made other arrangements that are much more cost effective, and our days of staying at the Green Tree Inn are over...

Very nice people to deal with Hotel have great amenities

Strictly average for the price. Room was clean and relatively comfortable, and breakfast was good for this price point hotel. However, Ice/vending was far from the room (only an outside walkway) as was lobby for breakfast. TV did not work. Bathroom area lights are on timer switches (one of which did not work) and so you can't leave a light on in that part of the room. No information in the room about the area (places to eat, etc.).

Front desk was relatively slow, room had an odd odor, especially after cleaning. Parking lot has an odd setup. Overall not a bad experience though.

Great price for a really nice property just across the river from Louisville. Many dining options within walking distance.

Hotel was fine but not amazing. If we would have known the pool was closed for construction we would have booked elsewhere.

Service of rooms, breakfast was great several items to chose from ppl friendly. Only thing told had pool ready got there it was closed for inspection that was known about

It sucked I waited for over 1 hour and 20 minutes to checked in. 40 minutes of it was waiting for another group of guys in front of me. And the rest was just trying to get myself checked in. I had my confirmation number and everything. This was booked through CLC lodging and I was always have problems with these bookings. I'm going to ask my company not to use these companies in the future

Rooms are nice, staff is very polite. Would get 5 stars if the Wi-Fi was better. Can connect but it's extremely slow and dodgy and disconnects once in a while.

Clean room, great breakfast, good prices, nice people. The only complaint is the TV signal wasn't good and the picture was choppy.

Stayed here for just 1 night my stay was perfect the hotel is just of the interstate check in was quick and easy was a little surprised at how many rooms they have 101 according to the website.

Parking in front of your room very good wifi the room itself is the standard best western always great to have a large fridge, you have a microwave tv etc bed was king size slept very well the bathroom modern but tight all in all a great stay as usual.

Breakfast standard from best western cereal hot food waffles tea coffee juice bagels.

The highlight of this stay was actually having the pleasure of speaking to the young lady who does the breakfast and cleans up after everyone and who sings unfortunately didn t get the young lauds name but just talking with her made my breakfast and started my morning as a wow.

In the area lots of restaurants and would I go back most definitely.

No one answers the phone. Tried calling multiple times, and the number used was on their website. Someone answered once and hung up.

Excellent place to stay. Reminds me of motels/hotels in Montana. Will always stay here when near Louisville

This is an outstanding hotel for its price range!! We were VERY pleased with the room (many nice details/extras), the private feeling parking (since we had a antique/specialty car), the condition of the property was immaculate, and the breakfast was outstanding with variety and quality foods. This hotel will be our 'go to' whenever we are in need anywhere near the Louisville area.

My husband and I arrived with our friends late last night. Front desk was very nice. We got 2 rooms. We stayed in room 180, got in bed to watch some basketball on tv. Within 10 minutes a mouse ran across our bed. My husband flipping the covers and it went flying! Couldn't have gotten out of there fast enough!! Got our friends in the truck and to the front desk for a refund, which they gave with no problem. They apologized but I was done. Stayed at the Hampton down the street!

Staff was very friendly. They even made Thanksgiving dinner to share with the team that was working and guests on Thanksgiving Day. Room was clean and comfortable. We would stay there again!

It was clean and a good place to sleep but don't count on the WiFi, it was awful!!!

The staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast was very good in the morning and the breakfast staff was extremely friendly and helpful. For the price paid for this Best Western, the value I got was very good.

bathtub wouldn't drain while showering. fridge ranked of beer when I opened it. bed mattress is broke down

The heater worked about 20 minutes and I spent the night freezing horribly. I checked in warmed u room and then headed to work. Came back about 2 am it was freezing cold and would not worknomatter what I tried. I been better off to have slept in my car.

The room was clean and comfy. I'm from out of town so the location near the interstate was convenient and I didn't have to search far for stores or places to eat- everything is close by.

I'm appalled by the staff at this hotel and their lack of knowledge about service dogs. My friend is there with his service dog. The dog was standing in the lobby in full SD vest and an employee at the front desk yelled and berated my friend who has the SD to the point of him needing help. The employee yelled at a Veteran and hid service dog. The dog did nothing but stand in the lobby of your hotel. I am appalled and will be contacting your corporate office. I will also never stay at Best Western and will ask every one I know not to, either. I also posted this on social media. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Awesome motel, with some updates and improving. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and I will be back.

Looks like they have recently remodeled all the room. Everything is new and up to date. DirecTV is a plus also. Very polite and courteous staff also!!

Hotel was very clean.check in was fast and lady was very helpful.at breakfast Denise was very polite and she went out of her way to make my husband's waffle.and was very polite.I feel people need to know this is a great place to stay.would of liked to use a pool but was informed they are building a new best western and they would have a pool.overall great place to stay.

My stay at the Clarksville,IN Best Western was a good stay over all with the staff were professional and helpful. I have stayed several times now at this location and would recommend this hotel to stay at if in the Clarksville area.

quick and simple check-in/check-out process. breakfast was delicious. room was clean

We stayed the night with our toddler son before his surgery that night he leaked through his diaper. 4 days after check out we saw we were charged $250 for a complete accident. The manager of the hotel refused to call us back I called cooperate and explained it was a complete accident and they basically acted like oh well. We were robbed for a simple basic accident that could happen to anyone. Plus we found hairs on our bed, vanity, and shower at check in. The maids talked on their cell phones while working being loud and cussing.
Take your business elsewhere unless you want to be robbed by this company!

I was treated as family and enjoyed every minute of my stay. The staff was top notch. They went above amd beyond to meet my ever need. I highly recommend this place of you are in need of a place to stay.

I ve stayed at this Best Western several times over the past year as it is a halfway point between my two homes and they allow pets in a few of the rooms (I have a black lab). This past Friday, I had a reservation. I had called two weeks prior and requested a pet room. I was told they had one open and would reserve it for me. When I got there at 9:30 pm, I was told they had no pet rooms available and there was no indication on my reservation that I wanted a pet room. The clerk simply looked at me and she apologized. Seriously? I appreciate an apology but what good does it do at 9:30 at night when I m tired and I have nowhere else to stay? She made no efforts to try to resolve the matter. The only reason I m giving two stars is the other clerk that was there was great. He jumped in and offered to call around to other hotels in the area to find one that allowed dogs. He ended up finding one down the road that had an available room and allowed dogs. Thank you to him! However, I m not sure I would want to risk staying here again.

Rooms comfortable if on small side..nice closet...plenty of hangars for hanging..quiet..even though close to expressway..breakfast hot and cold choices..staff made u feel welcome...attentive at breakfast keeping things filled and tables cleared..decent sized eating area...liled to be able to park in front of room..able to see car..did not get chance to use pool..looked nice..maybe next time

Very accommodating, I needed an early check in because of working nights and my early check-in and it up being even earlier than I expected and they were able to make it work.

I made a reservation for a room with 2 beds. The hotel overbooked so my husband and his 2 friends are sharing a room with 1 bed.

Very clean. Everyone really nice. Thermostat not working on air. Stayed at 61. Called them and they were there in 5 mins switching it out

We were in a pinch and got a room last minute. The place was clean. The people were friendly. The breakfast was good. All in all a nice experience.

Been staying at the Best Western Green Tree Inn for a few years now, and been very satisfied each time, works very well for my wife and I. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate area, easy on and off of I-65.

Great nights stay. Comfortable beds and the breakfast buffet was a great.

Stopped in, truck was being repaired, Daniel at the front desk, guy with long red beard extremely helpful and friendly got us checked in early, gave us a couple incredible restaurant selections rhat were spot on!
Room was small, but clean, modern, it had everything we needed, plenty of hot water, heat and a/c worked.
We utilized the small laundry room, 1 washer 2 dryers and they were CRAZY cheap...75 cents to wash and a buck to dry.. THAT was amazing, usually hotels jam you for about $3 a side.. this was great.
I would definitely stay here again.

This was a pretty average stay. I felt the lighting was poor in parking lot. The room was adequate and clean. It was a bit in the small size. I didn't get a chance to check out any other amenities. The breakfast was pretty good and on par with other hotels. No coffee pot in my room but there was coffee available in the breakfast area at all times.

Been here many times the desk clerks Josh and wendy are real good now top notch latoya is great she's got it all smart good with people great personality and common sense the total package management material and denise breakfast and housekeeping you want for nothing she's right on top of things also management material

This was a great stay! Our room was clean and the price was really decent.

I had to make a late night stop with kiddos because our gramma was in hospital. They were helpful and had me a room in ten minutes. My only complaint was they told me 94 on the phone and charged me 105.

Folks, for the price and convenient location this is the best deal going in the Kentucky/Indiana area. Rooms are clean, staff is great and the hot breakfast is outstanding. I would recommend this motel to everyone.

Very nice place, nice beds and we'll maintained rooms.

It was ok for the price. The bathroom was small and cramped, bed was decent- my husband thought otherwise but he's super particular. Our key card hardly worked, had to swipe it a million times before it would register. Check out was a bit difficult as the clerk did something wrong (even stated she did so eventually) and was wanting to charge us extra, which was frustrating.

The service was nice I guess but in the rooms they gave me faded washcloths that was black have black and some was clean so I don't know

Straightforward hotel stay for a break in the drive from MN to SC. Walked in to ask if they had rooms and there were just a couple left. We got a room in the middle on the back side. Outdoor pool was perfect. Staff were friendly and the continental breakfast included waffles, sausage, eggs, oatmeal and many pasteries/breads. Fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, milk, juice, coffee, etc. Beds were comfy, shower was clean and had hot water. Room was clean and well equipped with mini fridge and microwave. Direct TV and convenient parking. Dont go any further, you'll pay more for less.

Very clean place to stay. Nice staff and pretty nice rooms. Tvs could be replaced but they are watchable. Nice.
