I had a flavor (maple walnut) that is only available at this location. Absolutely delicious.
I had a flavor (maple walnut) that is only available at this location. Absolutely delicious.
Loved the factory tour and shop inside. Must visit while in Vermont.
Nice but they should arrange more ticket for factory tours during peak season
Nice tour of ice cream operations and a free taste of the ice cream of the day .Great for children to see how ice cream is made.
The tour is shorter than I would have liked but fun and free samples!!!!
This was their plant. Took the tour and got free ice cream. Only issue was some machinery broke down during the tour but that was not a major thing.
Ben and Jerry's was awesome. The tour was really cool and short so if you have kids, they don't need to invest a lot of time. They have a cute gift shop and a lot of panels to explain their business objective. They also have a flavor cemetary, which is funny and full of puns. There's also a playground and a shop to buy their ice creams where you can enjoy some exclusive flavors
Tour is ok, Not amazing . Ice cream is definitely amazing .
The ice cream is always great, the tour has been magical in the past pre-covid, check out the flavor graveyard
Fun place to visit but the lines for icecream is too long. The factory tour was OK.
Great little tour with free ice cream! It wasn't a new kind but it was still good!
The ice cream is always good, but the tour was overrun with children and the "tasting" was just a normal flavor I've bought in a store
I have wanted to come here since forever. I still remember watching, City Slickers and being introduced to Barry and Ira Shalowitz, the "Owners of Ben and Jerry's in the movie" (For those who have not seen this movie, the Shalowitz brothers are the "REAL" founders of this awesome ice cream company, and Ben and Jerry are just paid actors....go watch the this movie)
The Ben and Jerry's factory is a lot of fun and to come to, and I highly recommend taking the tour. It's very informative, and best of all, we get to sample at the end of the tour. Although the company is no longer an independently run company and was sold off to Unilever back on 2000, it still makes some of the best ice creams, most importantly my favorite, Chunky Monkey.
Delicately balanced between contrived/kitsch and creative/cool, this place does well what it s designed and meant to do serve ice cream in a clean, comfortable and inviting setting. Considering it s not the small family-like company of its heritage, this particular location does an admirable job in serving its customers.
It was cheesy (ha ha), but fun. The tour was cheap-ish, but also pretty lame. The sample at the end was sizable, but not worth the tour entry fee. Just stick to getting ice cream at their scoop shop, they sometimes have retired or unique flavors there.
It was a long walk up hill to the building , short tour which had stairs but access to a elevator . The tour Guide was awesome and you do get a sample at the end. I did like the video , it was cute. If you go there
watch the timing , we went and it was slow so no waiting . I have heard it can be crowded.
It was OK, 2 rooms max that you visit and there is a free sample at the end of the tour. We had Americano - and it was all that was needed to fill our adult stomachs.
Fun tour of the factory for only $4 for adults that ends with a free sample! Playground for kids & gift shop. Then the best part, all the ice cream!
Plenty of parking and turn space with the new parking area.
I love picking up and delivering here. The staff is great to drivers and it s also nice to walk around the grounds.
They have vegan flavors now which means I can have it again!
Went here and wanted ice cream and I figured since they support Bernie Sanders that someone else would pay for my ice cream. I waited and waited and nobody else would pay for it. It melted. Worst ice cream experience ever!
Super fun but really busy on weekends, so just be patient. It's worth the trip. If you don't like waiting too much go on a mid- weekday instead.
I went as a chaperon on my grandson Kevin s field trip to Cabot and Ben & Jerry s today. Ben & Jerry s was very nice and picturesque. They had a tour every ten minutes that had a movie, tour of the factory and an ice cream sampling. The tour guide was very informative and the strawberry cheese cake ice cream was awesome. Loved the trip.
Great ice cream. Shame about how they tie everything to politics.
The tour could have been more thorough. Like a 15 minutes tour and theres a lot of families as you could imagine. There is only 1 random (as in you dont get to pick it) free sample and it's the size of those paper free sample cups you see at Costco and other grocery stores. Was delicious ice cream and a nice quick stop for Vermont destination.
The tour was fine, the guide great. But the ice cream was more expensive, and it was pretty much just about buying their stuff.
Great fun for all ages. Personable and funny staff for the factory tour, followed by some delicious free ice cream! Playground and a field with cows nearby for the kids to visit.
The tour was worth waiting for the next available one.
The tour is okay, but the sample awaiting you at the end is great. They have ice cream flavors here that aren't available elsewhere. Be sure to take a short walk to the flavor graveyard.
Love Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream & the factory is awesome the touring of the facility is awesome and once again the ice cream is awesome so if you have kids take them & if you love good Ice Cream!!!
The tour was really fast and interesting. The presenter knew a lot about the statistics of the company.
Corporate tourist trap. Really not worth the time and prices were borderline offensive. Kids were disappointed by the thoroughly average ice cream.
I was so excited to finally come to this tour and was very disappointed. The staff was unfriendly, very short tour since no work was being done at the time and the facility looked a little worse for wear. I just thought people that worked at an ice cream factory would be happier, would not recommend.
Its Ice cream. What kind of Communist would not have a good time eating ice cream?
Fun experience for the family. Today's free sample was Americone Dream. It was awesome
Disappointing tourist trap. You don t really get to see the factory, you only see a small (working) one room representation of what s happening in the rest of the building you can t see. That plus a 7 minute video and you re done. Not worth the hour wait
Had a good time at the tour and the kids loved the ice cream.
This tour would be great for younger children and Ben and Jerry's aficionados but it was a bit short and the ice cream was not being actively produced when we went. I learned a few new facts and got to try a small sample but considering how many flavors are in their "flavor graveyard" or in testing, those could have added a much more interesting dimension to the tour.
Super busy the day we went, but a fun experience. We had the Vermonster which was over $50, but delicious for days afterwards (we had a camper with a freezer to store it in)
So worth waiting in the ice cream line, get that first and then bring it with you on the tour, also take advantage of trying the different flavors they'll let you try whatever you want
Tour should be free for what the content was. Money better spent on just getting ice cream.
Tour was nice though it fills up fast. Had a nice playground for the kids to kill time while we waited for the tour. They even had free L2 and L3 EV chargers! Huge free sample at end of tour. Great experience!
This place was really nice. It's the actual factory where Ben and Jerry's ice cream is made. Another must see place if you are in Vermont.
Fun place to visit with family - short tour, but don't miss the graveyard!
This should be illegal and a felony to operate a business with a loading and unloading zone like this. Not only is the lot LITERALLY too small to safely enter and exit with freight, the entire lot, all 10 square feet of it, is a dust and mud bowl. Would it kill Ben and Jerry's to give us an extra 4 feet of effing room so we don't damage our and their equipment? They sure don't seem to give a F either way.
Very nice place. Wish the tour was a little longer and we got to sample more than one ice cream. Then near the graveyard, there were cows that people looked at but there was electric fence with no signs of warning or anything. I saw kids reach over and get shocked. Not save. Other than that it was a nice place.
So much fun! Free Ice Cream on the tour and you get to watch the ice cream travel through the factory. Such a great time, even in the winter!
The best Ice cream factory in the world but expensive
Great experience to see how they make ice cream. Guests are served with a scoop of ben and jerrys ice cream before they leave.
Fun place to visit, great ice cream! The tour is very short (like 30 mins tops) which worked great for us, but might be something to consider if you have to travel a long way to visit.
It's an iconic place in ice cream history. Their $4 tour is OK, but they don't tell you until you're on the tour whether the factory is actually making ice cream that day (in our case, they were in a cleaning cycle, which is not nearly as exciting to see), and you just taste one flavor at the end of the tour. We probably wouldn't have gone on the tour if we'd known the factory wasn't in production. The prices for ice cream in their on-site shop are definitely not at any sort of discount!
The tour is quick so even little kids will enjoy it. Worth the calories to get a cone at the end for sure!
Since the Unilever merger, Ben & Jerry's has stepped up the facility to make it a destination you want to take the family to.
Long lines to purchase ice cream from the snack bar, but the factory tour was not too long of a wait and the flavor graveyard, the spin-art, the photo ops, and the playground made the time pass enjoyably.
Awesome and fun experience though the gift shop is a little pricey.
Nice to see a huge company stay true to it's roots, great ice cream and a fun tour.
Nice place to stop by for a little taste of Vermont. The factory tours are pretty cool, and they run frequently. You can learn about the history of the company and how they make ice cream.
Grab a cone or bowl at the window and taste the goodness! Be warned, it's definitely tourist priced. $$$
There's a big playground to let the kids run around in, so sugar em up and let them tire themselves out!
Protip, visit the old flavor graveyard up on the hill to see all the B&J retired flavors in a mock cemetery.
Can be very busy, But there is nothing like factory fresh ice cream!
We came in with 2 minutes ro spare and the staff still served everyone patiently and with a smile, even the ones behind us!
This is a cute tourist trap. Come see how Ben and Jerry's make ice cream. Lots of tourist were here and it was busy.
Tour was awesome.. Got to taste new flavors... Flavor graveyard was funny and unique
Great tour. It was fun learning about the humble beginnings of one of my favorite icecream companies. If your in Vermont worth a stop
A bit overcrowded, but a must see if you are in the area and have never been.
4$ for a tour and you get ice cream at the end! You have to do this!
