The tour is cheap, so I reccomend it. The ice cream shop is very good, probably because they serve Ben and Jerry's ice cream. The flavor graveyard was interesting to check out to see which flavors they used to make. This is a good tourist spot if it is on the way.

For families with children I would recommend for the experience to older people it seems much less exciting or interesting to me. It is a very small factory and everything goes from containers and pipes and in fact it is a nice and very simple industrial process. For those who make the route at the end, give them ice cream, delicious and fun

We went here to get ice cream. I thought it was ok for folks who want commercial-type entertainment. We prefer less commercial, more home-spun type adventures. Most folks were taking tours. We did not want to tour and get packed in a little space like sardenes in a can. The line for ice cream was way too long and the ice cream was outrageously expensive. I couldn't taste the ice cream flavors through the super sweet waffle cone. All in all, I'm so glad we found an ice cream place. That's about it for Ben and Jerry's.

The Ben & Jerry's factory is okay, but not really amazing. The place gets very crowded during the summer. The factory tour is $4, and lasts about 20 minutes, a good chunk of which is taken up by a video. If there wasn't a small bit of ice cream at the end it wouldn't be worth it at all. As it stands, it's questionable. Besides the tour and gift shop, there's really not much else there. The Flavor Graveyard is kind of neat, but sort of pointless. In all, this place is not really worth going out of your way.

Very well organized with tours every ten minutes. Ended with a good sized sample of strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Cute shirts and souvenirs in the gift shop, and there was a free spin art booth outside.

1st the ice cream. Where I am from, we only get it pints in grocery stores and a stand alone creamery does not exist. Finally we get to enjoy it fresh and on cones. The waffle cones were not earth shattering and tasted generic and un special. Save a little money and just get a cup.

2nd the tour. The cost is only $4 for adults, $3 seniors and free for kids uncer $12. I was here 1998 and disappointed to see it so commercialized. My most head shaking was due to the ridiculous video you must watch about the "history" of Ben & Jerry. It was more of an investor profile/corporate sales/ political statement vibe to it. What it should of been was to show about the ice cream not how the company uses it profits. At lease the tour guide kept if delightful though the tour itself was so short.

They advertise tours until 7pm, we got there about 5:30pm and the last tour was walready sold out. Also their factory prices are just as high as the corner store prices for their ice cream

This place was fun. Bring your kids here. The tour was $4 for adults and kids under 12 are free. Lots of cute ice cream related humor and of couse, Ben & Jerry's ice cream served in a cone. Do it. Do it now.

Lots of stairs from parking made it hard to bring our newborn with us. Tour did not have any icecream being made, just a video. Line to purchase icecream went down a flight of stairs (again, not easy with a stroller). Did not bother staying to get icecream.

Don't know why I was expecting more from this tourist trap but I was sorely disappointed. I could have purchased a pint from the store and read the carton for a better representation of their company. $4 for a informational video and tiny sample was not worth my time.

Americone Dream was real tasty. Help in community is great. Choice of spokes person (rev. Barber) disgusted me. He is a racist and I will not support him or anything he stands for.

I wasn't aware of this factory that organizes a tour, and includes other amenities for the public, like a gift shop and a hall of detailed artifacts about the business, until I checked it out. This was a good experience: the nearby landscape is very nice (Green Mountains); the staff was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful; the flavor graveyard (another amenity) was interestingly funny, but fascinating to observe; and the food itself from their store is always a delight. I'd recommend anyone who visits Vermont to stop by this place as one of their travel destinations.

I do not eat ice cream, but for the rest of the humans out there I think that is a must see stop. Tour the factory, see a quick movie about the company and get a sample of ice cream.Tour guide was very nice and very informative. Kids are free and adult were less then $5.00 each, who wouldn't want to stop. PS avoid the gift shop, some crazy person put the prices on and not one afforable keepsake there. Safe tour money for the ice cream shop attached

Always been a dream to visit this factory after seeing a short documentary on it on TV. But as they say never met your heroes. The tour is just $3, but it s barely a tour. You ll only get to watch the plant from a glass window.

I LOVE their ice cream but the experience,it was TERRIBLE!!! I went there on 8/31/2019 and me and my parents went for the tour, I was very excited to hear we could get free ice cream but I hated the flavor. I asked "the extraordinary scooper Sharon" for the other flavor for people allergic to any ingredient in the ice cream. So Sharon asked me if I had any food allergies. I had none and was honest, but Sharon pointed at the flavor of the day.

The tour was fun and cutesy, it was interesting to see ice cream being made in real time. Our guide was great and had lots of stories to tell. $4/adult does seem a bit pricey for what is included but they do have to pay someone to lead the tour... Gift shop/area is really well stocked and laid out, good to browse for ice cream lover gifts. Definitely busy despite it being a winter afternoon!

Great ice cream and atmosphere. Went during Covid-19 Pandemic and couldn't tour the facility, but Ben & Jerry's and the staff had their act together. Social distancing measures in place to ensure everyone's safety. Everything was well planned and organized.

Ben and Jerry's is our dogs namesake for a reason. They make some incredible ice cream and visiting to factory has opened my eyes to the culture their enitre company has. Very forward thinking, progressive, and just downright delicious, not sure you could ask much more from an ice cream company. Also, stop by their flavor graveyard to take a look at some old favorites. 100% will be coming back to VT, 83.7% of the reason why is this company

A pretty basic tour but a nice overview all the same and I appreciated all the dairy puns. You get a small free sample at the end of the tour which was great. Very friendly staff. The flavour graveyard gave me a good laugh - sad to see some of them didn't make it though.

Such a great stop during our time in Vermont! Loved learning of the ice cream making process, especially as a quality engineer in the food industry who totally geeks out over that stuff. Very clean facility, good company values, and great tasting ice cream samples. The tour doesn't last very long as it is a small facility, but it's a cheap tour and worth the price.

Cute little gift shop and flavor graveyard as well!

Ice cream Factory, a good place to visit with kids. They have 30 mins factory tour.

The tour includes one short movie which tells about company s history, production room 8 step process of making ice cream and lastly a sample ice cream for testing.

I am not a ice cream lover, so wouldn t recommend 1 hour time spent there. But good place for kids and ice lover.

There is a factory tour starting each 15 minutes. The guides are very good on what they do. They provide very understandable information, with good sense of humor and are available to answer any questions public can possible have. All the place is very clean, fun and nice. We bought ice cream, and it's just so delicious! Don't forget to go to the gift shop, there are amazing items you can buy for very affordable prices. Within the factory your, one gets to watch a very good video about the company and products, then, one can go to see the different production steps and then a free sample of delicious ice cream! Small groups of people each tour. I loved this experience and I strongly recommended. Couples, family, students, all are welcome here! I'm sure I will never forget this experience. Thanks!

Absolutely love this place and is a must visit every time we are in Vermont. The factory tour is cheap, very informative, and delicious (they give out a sample at the end)! Be sure to visit the flavor graveyard at the top of the hill to have a laugh over the flavors that didn't survive!
