Disappointed a bit... wasn't nearly as spectacular as I thought it would be. Came on vacation from AZ and this was supposed to be a definite highlight. Ice Cream treats we're overpriced for families...we were "herded like cows" in long lines between posts to even get to pay for the cones...only 4 of 6 stations we're working.

Fun place to waste an hour of time if it s a rainy day in Stowe. It s a small fee to pay for the tour which children most likely would have no interest in. It ends with a sampling of ice cream but you can avoid that if you temperamental ones and head straight to the shop. You can purchase ice cream and goodies there. If you have expendable income and love ice cream you could do the flavor fanatic experience. I m not sure I would necessarily recommend it though. It s decent for what it is but is not worth that price point for what you re doing. Don t do it for the photo session as that will be disappointing. Half of our photos were blurry or not focused on us.

The factory tour is short but great! The store is a tad overpriced but it's worth checking out for some cute, pun-ny T shirts. Their ice cream store is good but they have the same flavours as the pints available in supermarkets.

A must-do for ice cream lovers, and a fun way to spend an hour or two for everyone else. The Ben & Jerry's factory offers plenty to do for people of all ages.

The tour itself takes about 20-30 minutes and walks you through the ice cream making process. Even though there was no production happening during our visit, it was interesting and informative. The tour guide was trained well and was funny and personable. At the end of the tour you get a small sample of one of their flavors. Of course, after the tour you can visit their shop to buy more ice cream or Ben & Jerry's merchandise.

Outside there is a playground for children and the flavor graveyard, where you can see the names of all of the flavors that were retired.

A great stop for people who love ice cream, or for families that need an activity to do.

Fun place to visit. Wish the sample at the end of the tour was a little larger. Unfortunately we did not get to see much during the tour as they were cleaning the equipment to change flavors for the next run.

Really disappointed with the organization of this place. There are four open windows with hundreds of people in line. The staff has not clearly defined where people should queue, so it is a basic madhouse. Too bad, we've been looking forward to this experience.

I had a blast employees were friendly & ice cream was delicious! So glad I was able to make the trip as Ben & Jerry's came on the scene in 1978 as did I! Great things were created that year apparently

We did not get to watch the factory run, it was cleaning day and nobody mentioned that prior to buying our tickets. The tour guide was personable and did his best to discribe how the factory runs to make ice cream.

Long lines for ice cream. I asked for real food since it was 12 when we arrived and the only thing available was the hotdog stand outside the attraction. The facade is not very pretty, it looks like an accidental spot.

A bit crowded, but it's to be expected at the ice cream motherland. Delicious ice cream, but the menu is the same as at your local scoop shop. The tour had a long wait, so we opted to skip it. Go early if you're there on a Sunday, or leave lots of time to mill around while you wait for your tour. The factory doesn't run on Saturday or Sunday, so if you want to see ice cream in production, go on a weekday. We overheard folks mentioning they got a sample of an ice cream flavor that wasn't released yet at the end of the tour, so that's fun!

Fun tour...cost $7/person. Tour consisted of an animated documentary about the company and a short tour of the facilty with a small tasting of a new flavor at the end. Gift shop was super pricey but expected it to be. Ice cream was out of this world and tour guide was very good. Check it out.

Very disappointed in tour! They show a video telling about the ice cream that has big and tasty chunks of flavor. Then we get a sample of grapefruit ice cream. Really!!! No flavor at all! I will not recommend this tour to anyone!

The factory tour is overrated. The tour shows you a 7 min video of ben and jerry history and then another video of the ice cream making process. You will also get a top view of the factory. A small free sample at the end of the tour, which is not satisfying enough. If you want to satisfy your sweet tooth craving, the ice cream shop outside typically has a 30 min wait. Better go to a nearby grocery store and grab a tub of b&j and enjoy in peace.

Smaller than I imagined, and the tour isnt very interactive. You watch a movie, then head to where you can see the factory from above it- a lot of it isnt used all the time. But everyone was friendly, our guide had great "dad jokes/humor" and at the end you get a scoop of ice cream. We walked around the grounds after, all clean and well kept. Saw the flavor graveyard, played in the playground. Walked through the gift store. And then bought, well, ice cream! Shorter trip than I thought for a 4.5 hour drive from us. Definitely PART of a plan for the day, not the main or only thing.

Fun, inexpensive, informative tour that ends with an ice cream sample. How can you go wrong? Good sized (free) play area for the kids. Scoop shop on site in case the sample isn't enough. Flavor Graveyard (free and self guided) is fun. Cows to visit. Ample, clean restrooms (although, that may vary on time and quantity of visitors). Nice spot to spend an afternoon. P.S. - they will have a vegan sample available at the end of the tour, but you have to ask for it - also, that was DELICIOUS!

Tour was informational and fun! They have a tour every 10 minutes so you are always just in time for the next one. Sample at the end is larger than what I would call a sample portion and you can buy more if you'd like. Great guide!

Yummy!

A perfect place to spend a day with a family, also when your children are almost grownups :) the factory tour was really interesting, we had a really cool guide - a young boy who managed to do so good jokes that it took a while to get the point ;)

Ben & Jerry's is a great company and the ice cream is great but the factory is overrated. The tour is pretty basic and underwhelming (though getting to try some exotic ice cream flavors at the end almost makes it with while). There ice cream graveyard is cool, but nothing more than what you can find on the internet. The gift shop has some cool stuff (and you don't need to take a tour to shop there). Also be prepared for a long wait, the place is very popular.
