They replaced my furnace/AC several years ago. After a while, I found that rats were getting into my garage. It was years before I discovered that they were getting through a gap between a heating duct and a wall into my crawlspace. The company refuses to fix the gap because "the duct is part of the original system". During their sales pitch, the rep advertised them as the 'cadillac' of heating companies. If you going to brag about your great service, highly trained techs and going the extra mile, you should fulfill that promise with over-the-top customer service. Their new furnace blocks access to the duct, which the old one did not. The entire furnace will have to be moved out of the way to fix the gap. Needless to say it will cost a couple thousand dollars. They had no interest in negotiating a solution with me. I had been using their very expensive services for regular maintenance all these years and just last year they replaced the AC. Later I found they had charged me way above current market prices.

Had a tankless water heater installed. Jamie was knowledgeable, fast and efficient.

I went with BelRed for a new furnace about 3 years ago and I have been delighted ever since. Chad C. was at my house today to determine if the furnace could be restarted after my crawl space flooded. He was very professional throughout the service call. He resolved the problem and answered my numerous questions. Thank you, Chad!

Two BelRed technicians came this afternoon: Trevor and Dalton. They were professional, knowledgeable, friendly, thorough, careful and very skillful in their trade. They replaced our main water valve and pressure regulator in a place that is very difficult to reach. Everything works well afterwards. I rated both of them Five Star. On the other hand, I did not choose the punctuality button above because Trevor and Dalton had a big job before coming to our house, thus they arrived about one hour later than the time window promised to me by BelRed Energy's schedule and dispatch team. Originally, I was told that they would arrive between 9 am and 12 noon. However, Trevor and Dalton had a big job prior and that took longer. So they arrived at 1:10 pm. It would be much better if BelRed's dispatch team could call me and let me know about the delay so that I did not need to wait for Trevor and Dalton for the whole morning. I could have done some errands instead.

Ray B and Mike S installed a furnace today and were hardworking, timely, and diligent in doing an excellent job. The completed in a timely manner and were professional and courteous throughout. Great Job guys. Thanks.

Had another service done today by bel red and Jeff and Dalton did an awesome job installing a new water heater. Jeff was very knowledgeable and hardworking and was helped by Dalton has recently joined the bel red team who had an excellent attitude and was eager to assist Jeff in the install. Once again BelRed has exceeded my expectations and I will continue to be a customer. Thanks again!

Very personable service. Jake was helpful in assessing the problem and explaining options. Dustin and Mike did the installation three days later and were very conscientious and courteous, and they finished on time even while explaining everything to me along the way. Technician came out to look at an installation issue with our hot water heater. He fixed the issue quickly and even went the extra mile and flushed the tank while he was here. He did a great job and was extremely helpful.

I was pleased with the promotional price for a water heater cleanse and checking of our plumbing lines. A part on the water heater apparently needed replacing and the charge was $311. I checked online the next day and the price is listed at $97.00 from the manufacturer. It was my fault for not reading these reviews first, but the Mukilteo Energy Solutions OVERCHARGES for work done. We will not call them with our plumbing work again.

Jamie Rogers and Jeff did a great job of replacing my water heater and fixing my bathroom sink. Tracy J. , Jose S. and Ray B. replaced my furnace and re-routed the venting in an efficient and unobtrusive manner. They were all most gracious and helpful at explaining everything.

My father tried to install a Nest thermostat, but he didn't follow the Nest instructions when it said to turn off the electricity running the furnace. He ended up blowing the fuse, so I needed it to be replaced.

I called BelRed to get the fuse replaced. Jake was professional. The service was good. However the price was ridiculous. Replacing the fuse was a triple figure dollar amount. Installing the Nest would've cost me three times more. I had Jake replace the fuse because I needed to heat my home. When I got back into town, I installed the Nest myself. I followed the Nest instructions and got it installed in 10 minutes. Wasn't complicated at all, so I'm really surprised the quote I received from Jake.

I got my Nest at Amazon, which charge significantly less for installing the Nest.

Never again! People, do your homework! I gave in to agreeing (w/partner) to go with it (water heater). The city inspector about fell over when I told him what we paid, $3600. The guy gasped and stepped back. Get quotes, many! Get referrals. Read reviews, all of what is out there. And remember, there are folks out there getting paid to write positive, yet untrue reviews.

We have been uniformly unhappy with BelRed Energy Solutions since we moved into our current house, in 2012. Originally, we had BelRed install the furnace in our old house, and had been happy with the service. We signed up for the PMP in 2009 ot 2010 when we had that new furnace installed. When we moved, we took the contract for semi-annual service with us to our new house.

When the service contract lapsed, we renewed, and last year, after watching our furnace carefully, we decided to replace and upgrade the old model. The install was a disaster. It took a full week to get the furnace and humidifier properly installed and working correctly. I had to call BelRed to send the tech out four times. The first inspection failed because the evaporation lift pump had leaked water all over the floor. On our first maintenance visit after install, the tech discovered that the installers had installed the filters in backwards, and the result was that both course and fine filters were shredded. All of these errors resulted in multiple house visits to fix, and were a significant inconvenience.

In February, my husband called the billing department to cancel our service contract. In March, we were billed for March. When I called to refuse payment on March after we had cancelled, the billing agent told me that there had been no record of cancellation.

I cannot believe how much the customer service and expertise of BelRed has degraded since we started. We used to recommend them to friends who had HVAC needs, but now we tell everyone to stay away from BelRed.

DON"T USE BELRED ENERGY SOLUTIONS. I'm giving only one star because Goolge wouldn't take the review with zero stars.

Salim and Joseph serviced our furnace as part of maintenance plan. Both are very friendly and courteous. Work was efficient and respectful of our home.

James Penney was by to due the annual checkups and found some serious problems with the furnace. We discussed them and he was very through and helpful in explaining the situation. I would recommend Belred as the place to get the furnace fixed or buy a new one.

We have been BelRed Energy Solutions customers for over 20 years.
They installed a new furnace and heat pump in our old house about 15 years ago and we were very happy with it. We have always used their maintenance plan which makes it very easy and hassle free to have our furnace checked and maintained.
Now we needed a new furnace in our current house.
BelRed's consultant Justin P. was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. He answered all our questions and explained our options very well.
After we decided on a furnace BelRed was able to schedule the installation only 2 days later.
Installers Nick E. and Lawrence B. were very friendly and professional.
Before installation they explained the process and how long it would take them. After the installation they explained the whole system, including thermostat and maintenance of the filters and patiently answered all our questions. They also cleaned up their work space spotless.
It was another great experience with BelRed Energy Solutions.

Our furnace broke three days ago, after 35 years of service(!). The BelRed Energy Solutions team really helped us to understand our options, review every detail, and get a replacement furnace installed. Quick, painless, and courteous!!! Jose S. and Jordan B. worked extra late to ensure that we had heat last night, and they were back first thing this morning to install the heatpump. Highly recommended. I also want to commend the fine work of Cody M, who came out and did the final phases of the installation of the heatpump and tuned the thermostat perfectly. I'm delighted!

In May and June of 2018, we had extensive work done in our Issaquah home for plumbing and HVAC, Among the work we had done by Bel Red: hot water heater and toilet replacement, duct cleaning, and the replacement of our furnace and central air conditioner. I found both the office and technical staff to be professional and responsive to our many questions. Estimators helped us to specify the best equipment for our needs. Installation and repair work was done to perfection, with an attention to detail that was a cut above the previous system specification and installation work. Those I want to recognize: Gregg M., Denise and Yolanda in the office, Fernando O. and Cody M. (furnace and AC installation), Ben Millard (furnace and AC specs), Trevor Bohm (plumbing estimation and installation), and Aaron Stack (duct cleaning).

Benjamin Youn was our Service Technician, and we couldn t be happier with the information he provided. He was on time, thorough and really took the time to make sure we had all the information we needed. We will absolutely use Bel Red in the future.

Jordan B and Hoa T did a GREAT job on my furnace installation today. It was quite a puzzle to make it all fit well, but they figured it out and it looks great!

Bel Red installed a couple of heat pumps for us in June). One of the pumps wasn t kicking on when the temperature dropped below freezing, so I called the main office. Cody came out the same day- SAME MORNING and did some diagnostics. We ll give it a day or two to determine if it s all resolved, but the fact that they were able to come take a look so quickly and stand by their work (no charge for diagnostics), was SO greatly appreciated. Shoe covers, respectful of time and walked me through the new thermostat... Cody and BelRed get a thumbs up from me!

I've been using BelRed Energy for years for heating, plumbing, and cooling. Their front office is always a joy to communicate with and are good about notifying you about upcoming service. Their technicians are always pleasant to work with, efficient, and do good quality work. Recently, I had a hot water heater replaced as well as numerous plumbing and gas fixes around my older home and Richard did a great job laying out the work for the quote and he and John were in and out much faster than I had expected, with all work done to a high standard. I don't often leave reviews for businesses, but this is one of the few that I have enjoyed having on my side for years.

With an aging house comes aging infrastructure. I needed my furnace replaced in the middle of the cold snap / snow that has been blanketing the area recently and Bel Red again did right by me. Dustin H. and Stephen T. along with their electricians were able to get my furnace swapped well within the promised time window, including having the electricians on-site to route new signal wiring for the updated thermostat. Quick and easy and my house is warm again!

I signed my contract and was pleased to get my furnace installed the very next day. My installer Ray was friendly and informative. He walked me through all my questions in a patient manner. I'm happy to have my new furnace up and running.

Let's admit it. Hiring a tradesperson is always fraught with peril because if we could do it ourselves we would. I'm one of those folks who usually makes a problem worse than it was. We won't discuss my roof. I contacted BelRed via Home Advisory. From BelRed's initial contact to the final end I felt like I was in good hands. I knew up front what to expect and they met all their time lines. The communication was perfect. I knew when my technician would show up and was never left to wait and wonder. Richard Saxton was my plumbing technician and we went over all the little things I needed taken care of before guests from out of town would show up on my doorstep for Thanksgiving. Richard offered several options, most I accepted, some I didn't, but he NEVER questioned my decisions or pressured me in any way. He merely gave me the options. At the end (and it wasn't cheap, this kind of work never is) I was more than satisfied and more importantly had no buyer's remorse. My mind is eased.

We had to replace a 28 year old toilet because of a cracked tank. We took the opportunity to replace/upgrade our master bedroom toilet of the same age at the same time. Bel Red Energy was responsive and the service was prompt and friendly. They arrived at the time we scheduled as expected. Our plumbing specialist, Trevor, provided several options for the upgrade. Trevor did a great job working in a clean, efficient manner while I was working from home that day. We were very pleased with the service we received.

Jose' S, Dustin H, and Brett M. did a very thorough first class job on our heat pump installation!

They tried to get me to agree to a $350 fan cleaning saying that the accumulated dust was cutting down on the furnace efficiency. I then had another furnace company quote me $180 for the same service. They came out and the tech just stuck his cell phone into the back of the furnace and took a photo of the fan. It showed only a very light coating of dust with bare metal showing through. The tech said that in no way did my fan need a cleaning. No charge.

Just had a new furnance installed by Kyle H., Steven B, and Nick E and they did a great job. They were on time, cleaned up everything, and took the time to explain everything about the new furnance. I would definitely recommend BelRed to other people.

Can't say enough about how thorough and professional Mike was servicing our 11 year old air conditioner. He found nothing serious and made sure everything was within spec. As expected, several parts are near the end of life. Mike gave me a quote and a priority list for future service. I highly recommend Belred. They know the equipment and how to treat a customer.

The sales people had to leave but gave us a business card and said that Greg would be in contact with us soon to schedule an appointment to have the new unit today Friday Dec 4th. Greg called me after about 20 minutes and told us that he had not received anything from the bank as of yet but he would call me as soon as he did. A few minutes later my wife realized she had missed a call from the bank doing an extra security check to verify that she did indeed apply for this loan. My wife had someone claim unemployment in her name earlier this year so we have set up some security. The bank said that we were approved and that Bel Red would get the information in about 10 minutes. An hour in a half later I called Bel Red and asked to speak with Greg. I gave my name and waited on hold for over 5 minutes before I had to hang up. 30 minutes later I called Greg on his personal number and left a detailed message asking for him to call me back. I tried Greg an hour later and got his voice mail again but I did not leave a message. I called the main office and explained my situation about wanting to get a conformation that they still planed on showing up today. I was told that Greg was busy but the person told me that they spoke to Greg and Greg said it was all a go and then I received a conformation text. It was about an hour later around 4:30 pm I called Bel Red again because I still had not received any email documenting what we had just purchased. Again I spoke with a rep and explained the situation about wanting an invoice so I could research what I just spent a lot of money on and I could learn all of the bells and whistles. The young lady I spoke to put me on a brief hold and I was told that someone would email all of that information to me shortly and this was at 4:30 pm. It was not until 7:14 am today did I receive the email with the invoice. By this time Jose was already in my house ready to remove the broken furnace. He started asking me some questions about the exact placement and I explained my concerns about the lack of information being provided to me and about how if this unit had the capability to be used as an air conditioning unit in the future. (The sales people told us about how easy it would be but neglected to tell us how much it would cost too) Had we known that we would may have gone a different route. Jose asked me to call Greg and I was finally able to talk to him again. Greg said he was sorry I did not get the information I was seeking and then sent me an email of the information and another email that documented the cost of an addition for the air conditioner. I have never seen such lack of communication and I was ready to walk away from the entire transaction. I felt that I should have been provided with more then just two options of furnaces especially since we had been without heat for three weeks and it is just getting colder by the night we were ready to sign anything to get our house heated again. Honestly Jose and Mikal saved the day Jose told me that he works for the company but his number one goal was to make sure I was happy. He talked to me about the furnace and gave me a lot of the information that I was hoping to research. Jose had done such a good telling me about it that I told him I was ready to sign the paperwork before Greg could even call me back to tell me he had sent the emails. Mikal came in and my son started talking to him about football and Seahawks. The work ethic those two showed me as they removed my 50 year old furnace and then installed the new one was very impressive. Jose and Mikal did an amazing job making my family feel comfortable all while making all of the necessary modifications to make sure everything worked 100%. They cleaned up so well that I actually think they made an improvement to the area where my furnace is located. I still do not understand why it was so hard to get a hold of the necessary people or any of the information about my purchase, but like I said Jose and Mikal saved the day.

I've been working with Bel Red Energy for over 5 years and have been very happy. Recently we purchased a $23,500 job. We were super happy with the estimate and financing process. The installation crew were top notch. Cody and his team came on time, worked ceaselessly and completed the job that afternoon, clearing the mess away.

We hit a bump in the road with the final installation, which started the system the next day when a mistake led to an error code. I have to commend Bel Red Energy on their responsiveness. Not only that, because the installation could not be completed in a day (for which we paid), Bel Red Energy provided us with a generous refund as a gesture of good faith. Plus... are you sitting for this?...They sent us flowers because we had a medical emergency arise that same week.

I didn't think that businesses acted this way anymore. I am very impressed and highly recommend the quality of the products Bel Red Energy Solutions offer, the skill of the installers (who are always able to consult with Russ, who has over 40 years experience), and most of all the dedication to old-fashioned, exceptional customer care when something goes wrong despite all good intentions.

Jeff Harrison was the HVAC tech who came out today on a Saturday for our heater that wouldn't work and he diagnosed the problem quickly. It is a cold and rainy day and no heat so nice to have it working again. The gas valve was replaced on our York furnace and he had the part on his truck. He explained everything, was efficient and knowledgable. Two thumbs up and happy to have heat tonight. Thanks Jeff and BelRed!

Jose S and Cody installed our new furnace today! We called Bel-Red yesterday and less than 24 hours later we have a new furnace and a warm house! Jose and Cody were extremely competent, polite and efficient. I am very grateful for their hard work today.

During our routine furnace and water tune-ups, both specialists were friendly and professional. The plumbing specialist (Richard Saxton) was efficient with our two water systems, and replaced a cracked PVC pipe for free. The furnace specialist (Mike McDonnell) was able to fix our gas line and the furnace capacitor on the same visit. They were on time and were in and out within the time frame they estimated.

BelRed is a five star company in my book, and I was impressed with their first visit, 2 years ago, when I needed immediate assistance. They were the only company that could come out the quickest and resolve the issue. I decided to sign up for their maintenance contract, that is affordable, and has definitely saved me money. All of the technicians are friendly, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and never try to do a hard sell on their products and services. When doing scheduled maintenance on the furnace, air conditioner, water heater and plumbing, they give their assessment on the current condition of the appliance, and give a write up on things that need attention, and put them in order of importance. They let me decide if or when I want to address and fix potential problems that will prolong the life of my appliances, and not get stuck with a breakdown that could have been avoided.
I want to give a BIG shout out to James Penney that came out to do my 2019 yearly furnace maintenance. I was called by BelRed to let me know he was on his way, and also received a text with a picture of James, so I was familiar with who was going to appear at my door. How awesome is that!! He thoroughly cleaned my furnace, and took the time to show me the furnace components and how it all works. He pointed out some issues that need attention, and could be problematic in the near future, and for me to give it thought. He explained why the issues add extra wear to the furnace and replacing the wearing components will avoid a furnace breakdown. He showed me each part, and I could clearly see that I needed to replace them. I chose to fix 2 of the problems, and James went to the warehouse and came back with the components he needed. He also went over my thermostat, and suggested settings that would improve my air quality. I live in a manufactured home, so air quality is not optimal, and more problematic. Since moving into my home 3 years ago, I expressed to James that I have acquired very unpleasant upper respiratory issues, so he suggested the Air Scrubber, that could help improve the air quality in my home. He told me of the benefits that he has had with the Air Scrubber, and thoroughly explained how it works, and gave me the information I need to decide if I want to invest in having it installed. James was so personable, and I could see that he takes pride in his job and customer service. I felt so well informed after his visit, and feel I can move forward with his suggestions to prolong the life of my furnace, and to improve the air quality in my home. I will be requesting James as my technician for further problems and scheduled maintenance.

Was very happy with our service from BelRed. Our furnace went south just before Thanksgiving. They were out for a review the day after Thanksgiving, and Ben was really great at explaining what had gone wrong and what work needed to be done. We chose to replace our unit which couldn t be done for a few days so they left us with spare heaters for the meantime. Steve was the technician that came down to do the actual replacement. When he was almost finished he discovered that someone had put the wrong unit inside the box that was labeled to be our replacement unit. Even though it meant he got stuck here several hours longer than he should have, he stayed and contacted home office so that someone would locate and bring down the correct unit for us. Then he installed it so we still got the unit set up that day. We appreciated that he made the effort so that we didn t have to go without heat another day. Overall very happy with the service.

Service this visit was provided by a plumbing Jedi and Padawan (or a journeyman and an apprentice), Eric Sams and John Dickinson. They were quick, efficient, and professional. I also enjoyed listening to Eric mentor John...and he truly did mentor, allowing Eric to learn hands on but providing a constant stream of feedback and tips. The job was installation of a new kitchen faucet...the installation is easy enough that I could have done it, but the 35 yr old fixture quite rusty and I knew that the removal would be the hard part. Indeed, the job required that saw off the old fixtures and I am glad that I had a professional do it. They were a great pair and I feel lucky to have them provide my service this visit.

I had a great experience with BelRed. Matt came out to service my ancient furnace, but he found that it was on its last legs. Joe came out an hour later to go over my replacement options. He was very knowledgeable and made it clear and easy. Jose and Mikal handled the installation. We were impressed with how quickly they got the job done, and all of them made sure to follow safety precautions, which made me and my family feel comfortable about them working in our home. I wouldn't hesitate to use BelRed again.

I've had a Lennox HVAC system installed by Bel-Red for two years, and have a warranty plan with Bel-Red that extends the Lennox warranty. The Bel-Red technicians are always professional, knowledgeable, and get the job done correctly. My prior Rheem HVAC system, installed by another company (PPH of Kirkland, I'm not sure if they are still in business, but if not, good riddance) when we built the house, was besot with problems from day 1, and PPH could never fix the system correctly. So we tried another Rheem dealer, Sundance Energy Systems, and they couldn't fix the problem either, charging me megabucks each time they came out and did a lot of work that never fixed the problem. Bel-Red energy has been a breath of fresh air. They installed a Lennox variable-speed-compressor system that has been working for over 2 years with only a couple of problems that Bel-Red came out and fixed immediately (one or two of the problems were warranty issues, and one problem was due to a water leak in my home); to boot, the system that Bel-Red installed is so much more energy efficient, I calculated that I save about $40/month in the hottest summer months and coldest winter months as compared to my old Rheem system. A shout out to all of the sales folks and technicians, including Dave, Dalton, Russ, and there are more whose names I forgot. I highly recommend Bel-Red Energy!

Our experience with BelRed has been great! We've always trusted them with our maintenance and were thankful for Aaron who discovered cracks in our heat exchange during a recent visit. David was able to come out to our home bright and early the day after Christmas and walked us through what options we had that could not only fix the problem, but help us to stay healthier during the year. John and Eric did a great job with our annual service and did a needed fix on our tankless water heater system so that it can be serviced annually as it should be. They were on time and did a great job!
