The door to my room got stuck all the time. Sometimes I did not know if I was going to get in. When I was in the room I did not know if it would open to get out. If I had to get out I could always go out the patio door. I told the front desk and I don't know if they tried to fix it or not. It did seem a little better but I still had a lot of trouble.

Atmosphere was appealing -- nothing -- All of the members serving at our conference were outstanding! -- I thought it was out of line to charge for the bottled water in the room.
Incredible experience here. Not only are all of the proper Covid precautions in place, but the amenities are endless. Upgraded to a 3 bedroom suite, given a late checkout, and access to 8 hot tubs and a pool. The arcade could use some updating, but I m splitting hairs here. I completely recommend a stay here. As someone that isn t a skier or snowboarder, I d recommend the off-season.. but that s just me. Nice job Beaver Run. Kudos to your excellent staff as well! Love it here.
I won a stay here through the Chamber of Commerce and an Ullrfest photo competition. We stayed in a suite, and it was amazing. Our view was fantastic. I am openly a terrible skier, but I loved to ski. So to ski in and out off the greens was a plus.
Awesome ski resort and great price. Good trainers as well. Only con is that the resort refelct the environment at the time of year. Dingy, dirty, and not much of a resort honestly. Still good people and fun place just no where near up scale to carry the description of a resort
The location. -- Someone stole our do not disturb sign housekeeping and maintenance came in -- The concierge. -- I think there are better options -- The beds were uncomfortable. The hot tub was broken most the visit
Convenience to lifts, ski rental, accommodations, hot tubs, parking. All in all a great experience. Rated 4 star because condo accommodations are showing their age and 1st floor did not have bathroom.
Did not get bathtub in our room like the photos show for the room we bought, dog barking in room next to us till 11pm,hotel staff tried to walk in our room three times. One time they actually came in our room. -- Pictures for the room we bought showed a jacuzzi tub and we did not get one -- Bad experience
Best family resort in Breckinridge, Building 4 is amazing! We love the ski in locker rooms! Yes it is a bit dated...but the amenities and convenience make up for it!
A wonderful, clean room, close to hiking trails and a quick walk to downtown Breckenridge. We got a great deal on a room and will definitely stay here again.
When my husband and I stay at hotels, we typically only need one night and choose something based on our needs-a place to rest our heads and maybe get breakfast on our way out. This was an exception, however, as we got a flat tire in Breckenridge on a Friday night and needed to book something last minute. We arrived around 9 pm and check in went smoothly. We went to get ice and happened to venture over to see the arcade, mini golf, hot tubs, and swimming pool. We didn't have any extra clothes with us, so we were bummed we couldn't use the pool, but we spent some time at the arcade and played mini golf. It was fun letting our inner children play! We got a pretty good nights sleep. The bed was comfortable, the blackout curtains were great, and there was a fan!! We always sleep with fans on at home, so we were very pleased with this. We left early to get our tire replaced, but since they'd offered us a late checkout, we stopped to get some suits and ended up going back to use the pool and hot tub. It was a great way to relax after the unexpected car stress we'd dealt with. Even though this isn't the type of place we'd normally choose (and weren't there under the best circumstances), we fell in love with it and will be back for sure. Thank you for helping us turn a stressful time into a fun and relaxing retreat!!
We only got to visit here because the pool at the Doubletree was closed, but wow! Maybe the service isnt so great, but the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, etc are excellent! May have to stay here next time!
Beaver run resort is very convenient to the slopes. Each room has a heated ski locker room right next to the slopes. We stayed in the imperial suite in building 2 from November 26 through the 30th of 2019. This suite has 4 bedrooms, two with king beds with their own bathrooms and 2 bedrooms with double queen beds sharing a bathroom. There is also a hide a bed sofa downstairs. Kitchen is also downstairs. This suite is in real need of updating. Microwave carousel did not work. Oven did not work right. Detergent holder in dishwasher was broke. Mattresses were in bad need of replacement, very lumpy. Windows leaked air badly. The staff at beaver run are exceptional. They attended to every need quickly. This suite would be a great place to stay if it was updated. We had 11 people and it was quite comfortable. Beaver run has many amenities on site, although pricey. Good luck
I asked for and got a really nice, renovated room Building 4 417, with new appliances great layout and a nice view.I really appreciated getting an email a few days before asking what they could do for me in advance. -- Repeatedly ran out of food, utensils, dishware at our breakfasts. Hallway on 4th floor of Building 4 was cold. Closet door broken in our room. We were able to fix it ourselves, but it won't stay open. -- Check in guy at 11:30 pm Friday night September 15th was really clever and funny. Made us feel welcome. -- Could use a little better wifi and prefer password security.
mattresses need replaced, prefer foam pillows rather than feather, food is overpriced for a captive audience, ice machine not working on fifth floor of building 4, one elevator not working in building 4, building 4 has limited parking outside the building and it is ridiculous to have to park across the street and haul luggage up the stairs and across the street, no carts for luggage instead you have to pay a bell hop, bedroom situated in such a way that no air flowed and had to use fan, conference rooms too cool
This was our 2nd time staying at Beaver Run in building 4. You can t beat the ski in / ski out and storage lockers. We stayed in the Breckenridge room and it had been updated and was nice. The resort has several nice pools and hot tubs. They also run a shuttle into town which is handy.
Everything -- Nothing -- Tim at front desk helped us with very complicated booking details but everyone was good as well - Tim was just outstanding! -- No suggestions
Went with friends to Base Nine for a few drinks. The Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Free pool and darts kept us busy while enjoying well fashioned drinks.
It is a very comfortable hotel, the bedrooms are spacious with full kitchen, living room, large TV and bedroom with privacy, it is a hotel with several buildings, it has a heated indoor pool and several hot tubs, I loved it, the only "but" is what is a maze
Close to the race -- No bathtub in my room for an ice bath after the race -- I don't feel my room and service wss worth 200 a night it was marked up because of the race
Perfect location. Room was gorgeous; would have enjoyed larger balcony -- Only one elevator per end of building. Going from lobby area to garage parking was very confusing. -- Marija (?) from Croatia was extremely polite and professional.
Lovely resort, our only regret is that we could not stay longer. The facilities were clean and the staff were extremely helpful. Check-in was very easy. There is a lot of parking and the buildings are easily accessible. Our unit was clean and well laid out. We'll definitely try and stay here again in the future. The hot tubs and pools with mountain views were amazing!
My kids enjoyed the pool and hot tubs. -- The room was run down room. Our room was extremely run down. Not suited for a family of four like advertised. -- Cabinets were falling apart, fridge had broken shelves and drawers, bed was hard and sinking to the middle and not enough dishes for my family of 4 to eat a meal. -- I'm shocked a resort of this class allows their rooms to be in this condition. We wanted to relax and have down time as as family, but could not even rest in our uncomfortable room. Very disappointing!
State a couple nights at Beaver Run for a professional event. Really nice facility with Incredible views of Breckenridge. Nice spacious rooms with fairly comfy beds. They have a workout gym and multiple hot tubs outside which is really nice. They also have multiple restaurants and bars if you're interested in having dinner or just grabbing a drink. Also if you're there in the winter there's super easy access two ski lifts. Lots of great places to stay in Breckenridge but definitely consider Beaver Run.
Just an all around great resort! -- Nothing -- Whoever was at the front desk between 2pm-3:30pm was OUTSTANDING! They saw how tall I was and the manager offered me a free upgrade to a suite so that I could get a king sized bed
Woke up to construction noise right above our unit and was told nothing could be done about it. Didn't receive anything for disturbance the entire morning before we left.
This place is VERY old and is in need of a remodel right away! Our room was not cleaned after repeated phone calls to the front desk. The floors were not vacuumed, there was snot on the bathroom wall & a dirty towel hanging on the back of the shower door.
After our first day, we retuned to our room with no fresh towels nor was the bed made up.
I would not recommend this place unless they address management and fix the place up! There are plenty of other wonderful places to stay in BRECK!
Peak 9 ski in/ski out is what really is great about this place. I have stayed on Peak 8, which is super fancy, super expensive as well as super crowded as all of the people from the Gondola dump into Peak 8. Walking to town or taking the shuttle is a real plus. Town is about 6 blocks away, which for me works. The place is in the process of being upgraded, which makes it all the better. I like the ski lockers right next to the slope. The small coffee shop/convenience store in the hotel saves on expensive breakfasts, the food is what to be expected for that type of place. The only problem I ran into is that the indoor parking can fill up and you have to leave your car on the second floor if heading out to another mt to ski and coming back early afternoon. Otherwise this is my choice of where to stay in Breckenridge.
The location, view, and amenities are pleasing. Construction, noise, and some ways the service is carried out could be improved (desk service tone, toiletry refills just tossed on the counter). Even so, this places is great!
Nice rooms but no air conditioning or fans. We just happened to be there on a very warm summer evening. We had the windows open and then a party broke out in the parking lot. Lasted about 30 minutes or so. Overall nice and convenient. Pretty sure it would be a five star during ski season. Mark it up to global warming.
Not much. -- Rudeness of staff. -- Only the front desk. -- I did not see any security personnel. -- There are very many reasons. One, the housekeeper assigned to our unit was rude to me and my partner. Two, the unit only had a shower, no tub. Three, the water pressure was inadequate. -- See above. -- Will not stay with you unless I have no choice.
Full service hotel and conference center. Walk out to Beaver Run chairlift. True ski in ski out location. Lift ticket office, ski rentals and ski/board lessons available on site.
Great resort right at the end of the slope!! The resort has everything and the staff and hospitality was fantastic!! The restaurants could be better and prices were super expensive!! Only downside is that the routes to different building and the numbering of floors is confusing!!
Good location -- There is a lot of noise in the hallway. Hard to get any sleep between the doors slamming, kids running down the hallway and the groups of people coming back from the bars after midnight.
We stayed over the summer. This resort is very large. It is situated next to the mountainside with beautiful trails next to streams. Main street is walking distance with all the shops and plenty of restaurants. Many of the shops sell high quality items and the food is amazing. Downside is that the lighting in the resort is very poor and most hallways are dark. The carpet is older and could use a good cleaning or replacing. Room service (daily cleaning of rooms, replacing amenities) can also use improvement. Overall, the home feeling and quality of the room made the stay very enjoyable. The carpet in our room was very nice and comfortable and the bathroom with the jet tub was amazing!
There was a tampon in our bathroom trash when we first checked in. Gross! The rooms are dated. Every time we requested a shuttle, it was over 15 minutes before it arrived, then an additional 10-15 before you get dropped off! This was over Labor Day weekend and they must of only had one shuttle! The price is good, but you get what you pay for. Very little.
Decent place right next to the ski slopes and for this weekend the Spartan race. Rooms were clean. Reason for low stars is a popping sound during rain dripping in the fireplace/chimney area. Loud enough to keep us up a good part of the night. Front desk said they would "look into it."
I had no issues and if I had questions the staff answered them quickly and efficiently. I can say this is this one of my best stays in a hotel and I would recommend it to others.
Driver Mitch was excellent! -- Noise. First night neighbor's dogs (yes two) barked uncontrollably from 6:30 to 7:30pm. I notified front desk, attendant checked, heard dogs but occupants were not in room. Dogs continued sporadic barking for entire stay. Will stay again depending on room location.
We got the summit suite in 4th building. Parking is a gold here, if you want to park in front of the building. Or else you have to walk through sky walk from parking garage. Not far, but not convenient. The room is nice and feel really clean, we have real fireplace in a room, kitchenette and hot water for shower. The hotel is sometimes loud if you leave the patio door open. But overall, the hotel is nice and walking distance to downtown and hiking trails.
