Rooms are somewhat warm in the summer due to no ac, but very nice and clean. Good conference facilities.
Nice place. There is no AC in the room so it was a bit hot and stuffy at summer nights. Otherwise the room was large and clean. Housekeeping was really great. Overall it was a nice stay. We loved the full kitchen.
Very connvenient location. Excellent conference services. Room was clean and comfortable. Excellent shuttle service to downtown.
The room was a nice set up, but definitely got really warm, even with the window open and 4 fans going, so we were very uncomfortable. Originally when we called for an extra fan, the woman told us to just open the front door to try and get a cross breeze. However, the second time we called, the man was friendly and accommodating.
We did get stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes waiting for the fire department to get us out. This caused us to be late to a concert we were attending. We understand things happen, but they had just had a surprise elevator inspection that morning, so it should have definitely been working properly.
Giving 3 stars only because the majority of staff was friendly - otherwise would have been lower. We were definitely a bit disappointed.
Stayed here during recent business conference for a few days. The resort complex was very large with a lot of facilities. In some place it's obvious it was built back in the 70s, with some pebble concrete walls around and low ceilings in the room. But overall the facilities have been well maintained and kept modern. Convenient shuttle service into town or a 10 minute walk to Main Street.
Huge hotel and conference center with nice restaurants, and a bars, condo style rooms, hot tubs, and a spa, a and write on the base of the mountain.
The resort is pretty old and ok. Some of the condos are a little older and expensive to rent but you can't really beat the location. They have lockers for your skis and you can ski in ski out. They also have indoor parking which is nice. There's a couple bars and restaurants which is nice. There's an arcade which is fun for the kids and they have hot tubs. If you want convenient location this is the place but just know some of the condos are a bit dated.
I love Beaver Run! The location is awesome, hiking out the back door and easy walk into town. And you get a real fireplace! Highly recommend.
We would never return here. The room was freezing. Heater was working intermittently and the best they could offer was a space heater, which did little to help. The food in the cafe was horrible..would expect much better for the astronomical pricing. We tried to eat dinner in the nicer restaurant our last evening and despite it being literally half empty, we were told we needed a reservation. Room service is virtually non-existent, only offering the same school cafeteria sandwiches they have in their cafe. The skiing was fine, yes, but if you expect anything more you will be sorely disappointed. I ve had better customer service at a roadside motel in Nowhere, USA. The experience we had in Park City compared to this is night and day. Staying here was a waste of money.
I came up for a 3-day conference in June. After waiting in a long line for 20 minutes to check-in, the room was stifling hot (80 degrees) with the window open and there was no air conditioning. The resort does not have AC. The staff gladly moved me to a different room, but it had no window to let air in at night. The patio door screen was ripped away from the frame at the bottom, so leaving that cracked was not an option. Neither room was very clean. I took a cloth with soap and water to clean off the remote and yellow stuff came off. Gross! It s a very dated and tired looking facility. I would not recommend it and won t be returning.
I checked into this hotel on July 21 for a Real Estate Conference. Generally, the Conference is held at nice resort destinations, such as Steamboat, Vail, or Aspen. The hotels are usually very pleasant, clean, accommodating, and relaxing.
Beaver Run, on the other hand, is a dump. The hotel itself is a byzantine collection of unattractive 1970's structures in various states of disrepair connected by a patchwork of bridges, elevators and staircases. You need a map, and a compass, to find your room.
The hotel is filthy, and old. The rooms are dirty and musky. The beds are lumpy, and the sheets are thin.
To top it off, the staff were completely overwhelmed by the Conference. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and unapologetic. It took us over an hour to check in. We changed rooms twice in an effort to find someplace that was preferable over sleeping in the car, and then gave up in defeat.
If you like clean, new, nice hotels with friendly staff, don't come here. Take this place off your list.
It's a wonderfull place. It can accomadate a large amount of people. Staff very attentive, rooms and facilities are well kept and clean.
Luxury hotel. Large, acclimated, near ski slopes. It's worth the cost.
They held a sporting event on thier grounds. It was very nice. We had no issues.
Stayed in a great room with a beautiful balcony view
Excellent place. I've been twice. Highly recommend.
Location -- No a/c -- Grahm -- Some way to cool room better. I also called the front desk to ask when hot tub opened. It was 7am and we were ready to go. We were advised that the hot tub opened at 9am when, in fact, it opened at 8am. That was very irritating as we had many things we wanted to do that day
Many activities all under one roof, very family and pet friendly, free shuttle -- A little confusing to navigate the property -- All staff I spoke with were kind and eager to help -- coffee stand perhaps?
Love this place! Ski in ski out. Restaurants bars clothing shops indoor mini golf arcade pools hot tubs. Absolutely everything you need to make a beautiful vacation. Love this place any season!!!
We had a very enjoyable experience here. The mini golf area and arcade games were so fun for the kids. There are 8 hot tubs on the outside deck, plus an indoor outdoor pool that we went to every day. We had two unfortunate accidents happen there, the fire alarm going off at 7:30am and some blinds falling off a window and hitting my son on the head. The staff were very nice and handled the situations very well. The shuttle into town was super nice, we didn't drive our car the entire time we were there. There was also a fun hiking trail right outside our door (burro trail I think it's called). Overall a great stay and we'd stay again.
Beautiful facility, good (but pricey) food, and lots of meeting space. I was disappointed in their parking information - I was attending a meeting and drove around for 5 minutes before finally asking someone where I should park. The staff sort of rushed us out of our meeting as well - it felt like they didn't schedule enough time between meetings and needed us out immediately, when I'm used to chatting with attendees for a few minutes. Overall good experience, but there could be some improvement.
Great resort, great location, great views. The campus is large, with plenty to do.
Downtown Main Street is a pleasant 15 minute walk, if you're used to the altitude. Our suite had bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs, so I'd suggest asking ahead of time if stairs are an issue for you.
There are 2 pools, one of which bridges indoor/outdoor, outdoor hot tubs, a small arcade, and plenty of food and drink options. If you're traveling off-season, the restaurants may not be open, but the onsite market has good pizza, including gluten-free crust.
Comfy and cozy. The decor is a bit dated, but that didn't bother us at all. It reminded me of the Grand Geneva Resort in Lake Geneva, WI.
The staff seemed genuinely concerned that we enjoyed ourselves. The room was luxurious parking is free and we had a great time. I would definitely go there again.
Great resort, lots of amenities but confusing layout
There were six of us at a planning meeting during the summer and we had rooms that ranged from a small hotel room to a full suite when we each paid the same price. So it is a bit random what you get. Our room had a small kitchenette but a very strange layout where you walk almost into a tiny bedroom then past the bathroom and kitchenette to the spacious livingroom. It was too hot and lots of lights everywhere the first night so I couldnt sleep, but after that wasok when I figured out how to unplug things and open the window. It was clean, the bed comfortable. The phone customer service for the group booking was bad. I had to call up three times to get the group reservation.
They had lots of construction, the elevators were unreliable, main pool was closed, and the room had a broken shower. Otherwise, great location and very spacious rooms.
I discovered the National Repertory Orchestra, but I didn't see any information about it at the resort. Maybe more information about what is happening locally.
Beaver Run was amazing! The staff so was friendly and helpful and my room was perfect! I also had a massage at the Spa, which I would highly recommend, and started my last day there with a morning soak in one of the many hot tubs. I will definitely be back to stay during the ski season because this si the perfect ski in / ski out location!
Great location for ski in/out. A bit dated but still very good experience.
Good Hotel.
A little dated but large rooms.
great for the ski slopes.
Wonderful conference space, clean and beautiful rooms and so many fun activities!
Outdated building and tired interior- all pretty subpar. Terrible beds and housekeeping was clueless when I asked for a firm pillow. You can also hear all noise from nearby rooms...
Wouldn't recommend.
We enjoyed Beaver Run and will definitely return. We stayed in a studio with a kitchen and enjoyed being able to eat meals in the room. We loved that there is so much on the property - pools, hot tubs, restaurants, store. Everything was convenient. The staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. We would recommend the property!
Lot of construction going on that blocks you from getting around, main pool is closed too which was a bummer because it's an indoor outdoor pool, and just found out the hard way that if you get something shipped here on Amazon they charge you a 10$ reciever fee which was not explained prior when I called the front desk to see if I could ship a package here
Excellent resort! Room clean and well appointed. Very good service. Highly recommend.
Great accommodations, but they need new carpet, and to vacuum more often
It was a nice hotel and conveniently located near main street. However, it's huge and quite easy to get lost in. I enjoyed my stay while attending a conference.
Jay at the front desk from SC is awesome. He understands the concept of the first impression and its importance.
Location was good. .5 mile walk to downtown. Parking was terrible, getting to and from parking was crazy. Steve, the shuttle driver, was great.
I love staying in building 4 the location is great and I enjoy the community hot tub -- Nothing really stands out -- In the building 4 hot tub lobby I'd love to see a TV above the fire place. It would be an area people could relax to watch a sporting event.
Love Breck, utilities at beaver run very old and broke down quickly. Overall great pool and friendly staff but if you plan to rent a condo think twice.
I'm going here with my sister and expectations are high. I've heard there's a spa, skis/ski lift. I'll rate after my stay!
Great place especially if you are a step above a beginner like me. Staff working there are very nice and helpful. It has a great area for beginners to learn and practice, even for the littlest ones. It does get a bit crowded, especially with the ski school which mostly take priority in these kiddy lifts, so you end up waiting a long time. If you are tired of the bunny slope (and waiting on line!), try the Silverthorne slope, it's about the same level of difficulty but much longer the resort also has restaurants and shops on premises.
Seas there for a conference. Navigating the maze of the hotel isn't easy.
My wife and I had a nice time there this last weekend. The room we had was remodeled and quite nice. The amenities we're fun and relaxing. There were a few security issues with the rooms windows and sliding glass door though(ground level). Some areas of the halls feel out of date and dirty. The shower water pressure is almost non existent. No AC makes for a very hot room during the day! My wife and I would return, just not in July!!!
We are in the middle of our stay at Beaver Run. Even though we encountered issues with our room, staff went above and beyond to remedy the situation. Excellent hot tubs, comfortable beds, and spacious room (Colorado suite).
Great hotel, the staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful with our every need
What a great experience we had at this resort. We were passing through in the summer and decided to rent a townhouse for a weekend. Out three boys had the weekend of their summer here, alpine slides, downhill mountain biking, and many other great activities. The staff was friendly and out lodging was very clean.
Don't have so much to say about it. Took a couple tries to get appropriate linens delivered to room for guest. Otherwise adequately comfortable. Didn't interact with staff, otherwise. Elevator overshoots floor, occasionally. Missed floor 4 completely. They should get that checked. Shuttle service to town and back is great.
The accommodation for the meeting where fine but our room smelled like mold or water damage. It was bad. -- The price was fine but the room was terrible. The smell of the mold was gross. -- The rooms was stinky, dated, and the carpet and furniture was dirty looking
place is a joke management are useless and you will not get any response from any one if you have an issue, i have been sending contact requests for 11 months had a horrible experience with the staff at the hotel room was gross and the whole "no smoking" seems to apply to people that don't live out the season or have a trust fund.
Beautiful surroundings and customer service oriented staff. We will be back!
Loved everything about this resort. Quiet, lots of stuff to do. Swimming, hot tubs, beautiful view of the mountains in your window, balcony.
Our family loves staying here when we come to Breck, last time we were there a week and still hated to leave! Rooms to amenities, its the perfect getaway!
Good location but best of all was The Skywalk Market Deli, very good food, excellent prices and super convenient. Alicia and Donice run a great place.
Love this Breckenridge landmark and can't beat the location!
My wife and I are planning our 5 yr wedding anniversary here next week and from the reviews I m hoping to get one of the nicer rooms... I will update my star rating after our stay
Location is great -- A bit of a maze getting around the resort but signage is good.
Staying a hotel room, though there are suites and condos. Small, dirty carpet. Rooms and hallways have a small, cramped feel. Only reason I'm here is for a conference.
Rooms are awesome for slopeside access. Hospitality is great with hot tubs, pools, restaurants as well as bars. For a winter/ski town i will have to give the shuttle a 2 out of 5. I understand the week i was here we recieved an absurb amount of snow. I will say if the road had even the slightest bit of coverage the shuttle was shut down. We had to walk into town as well as back to the hotel. While walking all other hotel lines were running but ours. Being from New York this would be unheard of. No matter how much snow the city will never sleep. I am very dissapointed in the transportation this hotel had to offer, otherwise a great stay.
Great location, you can't get better than this. Walkable to almost everything in town and right at a lift. The building is old, although maintained. The elevators are slow, the decor is tired. Our unit was nice, clean contained everything we need. If you're looking for luxury, don't stay here, but if you're looking for a place to stay that isn't going to break the bank, this is a great option
Rooms are not cleaned - toothpaste on the counter, splatter and drips on the walls, carpet is stained. Dirty windows. Many of the staff have snooty attitudes. The buffet food was hard and dry and they served me wine warm (in a warm-from-the-dishwasher wine glass) and tried to tell me that is how red wine is supposed to be served, and coffee ($3) was lukewarm. Entire hotel appears to be outdated. The hotel is huge and very difficult to navigate - one elevator not working.
Family atmosphere with nice rooms, friendly staff, good food and convenient to skiing!
Yes, but I don't remember his name. He was at the shuttle desk when we arrived, brought us new keys when we changed rooms, and we met on the stairs at Spencer's , and he went out of his way to make sure we were being taken care of.
Nice resort in a good, central location. Lots of hot tubs and pools. The indoor pool is really nice. The only problem I had was that they did not have the option for AC, period. It was still warm when we went so that would have been a really nice option to at least have. They did have heat though, and they provide pretty powerful portable fans to help keep you cool.
Clean and nice room. Enjoyed the stay, although was disturbed to find a camera on the living room television, what the he** is up with that?
Beaver Run was a fun place to visit and I really enjoyed the atmosphere!
Service was lackluster. Rooms were clean and maintained, the building is incredibly confusing. But the shuttle service is absolutely awesome and I couldn't imagine staying in Breckenridge without that amenity.
Place needs updating; not an upper quality experience
The bed in 4215 squeaks and constantly woke me up -- K
Great front desk folks. Reservations made a mistake and corrected with an upgraded room at no extra charge.
