The mountain pie was great, however, the lack of service was extremely disappointing. Our waitress, Trisha, did not even bother coming by to check and see how we were doing and we were left with empty glasses of water and no napkins. This would have been five stars if not for the negative experience.

I really enjoy the occasional trip to Beau Jo's. They have a thick doughy edge, and thin pie style center crust. Along with piled on fresh toppings they sell it by the pound rather than the inch. It works. My kids love the honey used to adorn the doughy edge and make the often disguarded crust the nearly ready to be fought after treat.

A bit pricey but fast service and awesome pizza. Nostalgic location where Beau Jos started. Most of the seating was closed off due to COVID but we had plenty of options for outside seating. I would stop again when I am in the area, I recommend eating here.

Long wait but truly worth it. Such an interesting location and building. Incredibly good pizza with crust that is famous for its amazing pairing with honey... service is good but very rushed and busy as it is a popular place. Go here for the food and the location and the experience, but not for the personable or cozy service/seating.

I went here yesterday with a large group of nine friends. We wanted to split checks which is a common practice. The server told us they only can split checks four ways. What the hell? I don't understand the logistics of that but in the modern world of electronic payments and less cash being carried, restaurants have to be ready for splitting large groups. Our server gave us an attitude about it but we insisted that was the only way we were going to be able to eat here. She talked to the management and they were able to open up other tables on our tickets to be able to split. Still a huge hassle and a bad start to dinner.

Our server was terrible, perhaps the worst I've ever had. She didn't look like she wanted to be there, we never got asked for refills. We had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for our dinner. That was after waiting 35 minutes to be seated. The server avoid eye contact with our table and it was just awkward and unprofessional.

The food was very good although my order was wrong. That was the mostly redeeming part of dinner. I was especially frustrated and angry after the bad service, long wait, and incorrect pizza order that I spoke to management. Management was very accommodating and understanding and made everything right that they could do. That's why I give it a three stars overall.

My wife and I will consider going back since she loves their Pizza however we will never do a large group at a Beau Jos again. We'd advise others to do the same unless splitting a table 4 ways is enough for your party.

Some of the best pizza I've had! Couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate my Birthday. Had the "mountain pie" it was HUGE!!! Had a really thick soft edge of bread like crust that you can drizzle honey on. It was pricey but so worth it and delicious!!!!!

The place itself can be a bit confusing, but if you follow the staff and get seated you'll be greeted by amazing good and great caterers. It has a southern old mining town feel to it with great vibes. I definitely recommend it.

It ok, I personally am not a super big fan of pizza. Pizza is like sandwiches, how many time do we need to reinvent the wheel. If you don t have a product that s just over the top. It s just going to okay. The service wasn t really that good. Our server was kind of ditzy. So that plays into the whole experience as well. Salad bar was good, fresh, and plenty of options.
Overall there wasn t anything bad or good about the food. Now I could say I have been there. Most likely won t be back.

Yummy

My favorite pizza in Colorado. Placed a pick up order over the phone. Was ready exactly at the time they said. All three pizzas were perfect on toppings and cooked well. A little pricey, but is not a disappointment so I m fine with the price.

Iconic tourist spot but pretty good pizza. You have options between thick crust and thin crust. And then are plenty of other food options as well. This place is more about the experience.

Delicious pizza and the place where we learned about putting honey on the pizza crust after eating the crust with toppings. Very popular place and worth the wait to be seated during a busy summer weekend.

I thought the pizza here was pretty good, I was a little disappointed with my chicken tenders being cold. I recommend going to the Phoenix gold mine and then going to Beau Jo's for dinner where they will give you a discount for visiting one of the most fascinating mine tours I've done. They have a good beer selection and all in all I would eat here again anytime soon. I would recommend.

The Pizza was overpriced and overrated. I paid 40 dollars for a large pizza which is actually about the size of a small medium. The best part of the pizza was the crust and even that was mediocre at best, plus the wait was long and the atmosphere was obnoxious, would not recommend.

Pizza was good...Wait was an hour and a half to eat there so we just got ours to go and ate it at a park 50 yards down the street. They game us plates and supplies to enjoy a nice picnic without the long wait time!!!

A Colorado must visit. Although the Arvada location is better overall, there's something very nice about the historic idaho springs location. Just be prepared for a wait, especially during the COVID seating requirements...

Tasty pizza after our exausting trip to Mount Evans! I also had a local orange peel IPA, flavorful, tasty and cold which went perfectly with the pizza. Waiting in line for about 20 minutes. Also, the table we received was facing the place where the personnel was dumping the leftovers. Not very nice and that's the main reason for the rating.

Update. Still the Best pizza in Idaho springs. And we used to go there every time we went to the pool. However the new paid parking has left a bad taste in our mouths. This is the last time we are comming here until they get rid of it. Such a shame the town let the greedy city pass such a thing.

Good food, but I ordered a To Go order to be ready in 25 for pickup. They forgot to make it. The host lied and said it would be out in 5 min. After 20 more minutes it s clear they had to make it because they forgot.

Love coming here. I was introduced to this place a few years ago and now I come back every time I visit Co. This year was even better as they have changed up thier menu and are offering more gluten free options. My wife actually is allergic to gluten so the expanded menu items put a big smile on her face. Thanks and keep up the great work

This place is a must if you're ever anywhere near it! Amazing food! Seriously the best pizza I have ever had and the crust is so good with the honey (I thought it was weird when I heard about it, but just try it)!!
