Beau Jo's is a solid 4-star joint in my book for a number of reasons. Let's start with the great: Pizza: 5/5 it's great pizza, very original. They also make a gluten-free pizza which is VERY tasty Ambience: 5/5 Nice family friendly environment, great place to hang out Drinks: 5/5 If you're thirsty, you'll be happy The just-okay: The gluten free pizza only comes in the Medium 10" size, and I think it costs $20 or so with 2-3 toppings. It's high quality, but I could eat probably a pizza and a half by myself. The soup I had (enchilada) was EXTREMELY disappointing -- I paid $5 for a cup of chicken broth with a single piece of chicken and some bits of stuff at the bottom. Could just be a bad service, weak scoop from the pot. But easily $5 wasted in my book. We swing by every now and again to pick up a pizza when we're coming back from the mountains, because their gluten-free crust really is good. I'm just wary of getting anything else on the menu now
The food is amazing and Amber was a great waitress. Great place to go if you want great food and a good time.
It was very busy when we ate there. The pizza was pretty good. The service was extremely slow and we had to hunt our waiter down to get drink refills.
Have been here twice now and Food was great wings were great and the service was excellent. Most definitely going back again. Only problem is its an hour away haha

Idaho Falls is beautiful! This restaurant is set in a quaint Mountain town. Great ambiance! The pizza was DELICIOUS! We had 1 XL and it fed 8 of us (including 2 college aged boys)!!! Highly recommend this if you are in the Denver area!!
Great thin crust pizza but we were seated way in the back where they put the families with little kids. Didn't care for the seating lady's attitude.
Whenever we drive up to the mountains we have to find an excuse to stop at Beau Jo's. We love their Pizza!

Great Location. Great pizza. Get it "mountain" style (like Chicago pie style) or "Prarie" style (NY thin crust). Lots of choices on sauces, toppings and also their recommended pizzas. Patio view is over the I-70 interstate but also of the hills on the southside. Found paid parking within a block that could accommodate my camper trailer.
Pizza is good and service is usually pretty good. Could use an update and modernization.

Best pizza place. All the ingredients are fresh. It is a bit pricey but it's worth it. They have the best thick crust pizza and great honey to go on the crust.

Love it here. Service was absolutely wonderful! Drinks were great. Pizza and wings were awesome. The only complaint I have is that they cook the dessert pies in the same place as the pizza so you end up tasting pizza on your desert crust.

This is by far the best restaurant in Idaho Springs. This place has the best pizza anywhere offering from New York style to their legendary Mountain crust. I would highly recommend and if you're not a pizza fan they have a very good salad bar and other amazing italian-style dishes. One of my must do is every time we go to Idaho Springs.

The food as always was great. I love the way the restaurant is still in it's original state with wooden walls and old building constructions. Our server was great, she was attentive and knowledgeable. Only 4 stars for being a little crowded, and it seemed like everyone was seated in the middle of the floor, with tables around the outside remaining empty. I'd go back again of course. The Beau Jo's in Arvada is still my option for this business however.

If you are in the mountains on I70 and you want the BEST pizza in the state of Colorado you have no choice better than the pizza here. Hands down the most enjoyable pizza in the Rocky Mountains
Yummy as always! I first visited Beau Jo s with a friend of mine in 2015, my very first days in the US of America and I never tasted the same as BJ s in any other place. I am taking my leftover pizza with me to San Diego all the way!
Unique twist on the pizza. The crust is super thick and they provide honey for you to pour over it. My son loved it. Everything was very tasty and the server was nice. At this location there is only street parking.
Great location if looking for a colorado pizza. Lots of choices to choose from on the pre made menu. Also the make your own pizza, is a wide selection of unlimited choices to give you the ability to have it your way. Great open salad bar, with lots of choices. The service at this location is great. Plan on waiting a bit as this is a well known location. I have never had a bad experience here. And cant wait to go back again.

Great Pizza with yummy homemade crust and honey to dip it in. Also great selection of salads, salad bar, calzones, sandwiches. Place is big so plenty of seating and rarely a wait unless peak skier traffic. Just don't expect fast service esp when busy... It's still the mountains and we do things sloooow..
If you are in the area, you HAVE TO eat here. Atmosphere, food, and service are just right!!!

Visited with a large family group, and the staff knew exactly how to handle us. Most of the group devoured the pizza, but even the salad was a treat.

Enjoying our meal and an employee, who I believe was the manager decided to spray some type of insect chemical. Mind you this was table away from where we were seated. The chemicals were floating through the air from the door that remained open. The chemical completely ruined the smell/taste of our food. Mind you after spraying these chemicals all the doors remained open where the flies were entering the establishment. They should invest in some type of fan that goes above the doors that would prevent bugs from flying inside. That way this could be avoided while patrons dined inside. I told our waitress and she alerted the manager, but she failed to come by and apologize.
Got our order wrong. Not very polite when I showed them their mistakes. Mediocre pizza, terrible service.

Always a must stop when we are in Colorado. The original in Idaho Springs is still our favorite, but all locations have the same awesome quality food!!

Very good food and friendly atmosphere! What brought us here to try it out was the free EV charging, what will bring us back is the good quality food and friendly bartenders! Ann and Michelle were great bartenders and servers.
The place is unique! Old, designed as a mine, it has its own spirit. In terms of food, the variety is not that wide. However, it can be caused by COVID. Also, the salad bar was not available.
Awesome pizzas. Their Mountain pie pizzas and Prarie pie pizzas are so delicious. They have a good collection of local beers and cocktails too. The place is quite popular in the Idaho springs and so there will be some wait time.
Best pizza I've had, and likely the best I will have. We stop every chance we get when driving through the mountains. The franchises have nothing on the original!
