Kept telling us 10 min. for over an hour. They never did text us that our table was ready. Can't speak about the food never got to try it. Looked good.

Good pizza & friendly staff. Most pizza toppings are under the cheese.

Not that upfront about their prices, which are a little steep, but it was a good experience. The Colorado pizza is delicious and quirky, the service pretty good, and the overall feel of the place is just neat as hell. Worth trying at least once imo.

I'm originally an East coast girl and I think this pizza is highly overrated. It's definitely a local experience to hit when you're coming back down the mountain at least once, but the food IMHO leaves something to be desired. Such thick crust and honey doesn't do the trick for me.

Mountain pizza is wonderful if you like crust! We got the little Italy and one other that was similar to a meat lover's. Get a small pizza, an appetizer like garlic cheese bread and the salad bar for a complete meal. It was spectacular and I love pizza. Garlic cheese bread had lots of delicious seasoning. There are bottles of honey on each table to be used on the crust. Highly recommend for pizza!!

Mountain pies with amazing crust and honey for drizzling.

We happily waited the 30 minutes to be seated--busy Saturday night, we totally get it! Sat down; ordered drinks & food, started with the salad bar for the mean time. 45 minutes went by & the waitress came & told us she never put our order in. Okie dokie then, so she put it in & we waited another 45. Cool place, cool atmosphere, cool customers-- but we probably won't visit again.

Food was delicious, as always. Service was excellent. Best pizza place is Colorado.

Or experience was great. Our server mike was awesome, he was always there to help us in whatever we needed. The food is great, the atmosphere was awesome you just couldn't ask for a better place. Thank you mike for everything.we will be back

Great service, but not a fan of the pizza personally

Very busy place so you will usually have to wait in line on the weekends. Salad bar is amazing and you can't go wrong with the wheat pizza crust and honey to dip it in.

Great pizza!!! They have some amazing specialty choices as well as you everyday type pizzas. Also they have a really great selection of cocktails and drinks.

Great pizza, but, get there early because it gets super busy on holidays and weekends. Also, the deep dish takes a while to make. I think about a half hour, so be prepared to wait ( it's worth it!). There's free parking in the back, too

The pizza is very good. The addition of honey on the thick crust is genius!

Beau Jo's was an excellent experience. Zack, server, was very accommodating and professional. Pricing was reasonable and servings were plentiful. Would recommend to all.

It was great, they had all kinds of different meals, mostly pizza. Don't be afraid to try dipping the pizza in honey. Deffinetly worth the long drive.

We've been coming up to Idaho springs for years. Place is always good! Service lacks a lil bit but the pizza is amazing. The changes and the upgrades on the place are nice and they were needed. Just dont care for the new menu. Other than that... Idaho springs is a cute town and Beau Joe's is a must to eat at it your visiting the hot springs.

Always love Beau Jo's! Super tasty Colorado pie. Only 4 stars because 2 x 10" Cauliflower Crust personal pizzas were over $40. Only 3 toppings on each one. Other than that. It's a really cool environment and great service

Fun place with great pizza. Crust is very important to pizza and Beau Jo's crust is very good. Every table has honey dispensers so you can eat your crust with honey as desert.

My favorite Colorado pizza place! Very large menu, a massive place, and the honey on the crust is delicious. There is usually about a 40 minute wait or so, but you can explore the immediate historic district area while you wait.

Beau Jo's pizza is Colorado's version of Chicago pizza! Crust is the best part! Service and ambiance is just what my family calls home*

If you are new to Colorado or have never been to Beau Jo's you have to go. They have an awesome style of pizza that is delicious. Try the honey on your crust.

This place is a tradition! We come here every time we are heading to the mountains for vacation. The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. It's a must try Colorado experience!

They have great tasting food, and reasonable prices for the size of pizza.

I've been a long time fan of Beau Jo's and have been to few of their locations. The service was a little off this time.

The waiter seemed annoyed when someone in my party asked for cream for their coffee. We ordered the wings (both flavors) and instead of separating them, they put both flavors on top of each other so every wing tasted like buffalo honey sriracha, which wasn't very good.

The pizza was delicious and the honey on the crust will always be my favorite.

A great place just outside of Denver. Be sure to call ahead, make reservations and or just order ahead to pick up. They can be extremely busy.

Best place for a food road trip. I did get Caesar salad and 1/3 of it was croutons. Lol. Should have taken pictures cuz7 I don't do croutons. ..usually get about 5 to 7 but I must have gotten 50.. it was still good salad!!!

Love stopping in here on trips to and from the mountains in the winter.

Great pizza! Bottom of the crust was thinner, and the edges are really bready, on purpose. Finish the pizza, grab a container of honey, and right on to that crust edge it goes, delish! Tons of other options there as well. Had the nachos as an appetizer, and they were really good, salad bar available, full bar too. We had fast, attentive, and friendly service. Bring your appetite!

I swear they have the best pizza. But the crust with honey. Once you put honey on your mountain pie crust its game over. Best. Thing. Ever.

Place was great, didn t wait for a table because we were only passing through town, but pizza for take out was ready in 20 min max! Ordered a small sky hawk with their signature crust and split it between 2 people. It was the perfect size and otherwise amazing as well. Ate on a bench half a block away and hit the road. Check this place out if you re in the area, wish I could ve spent more time here.

My first Colorado style pizza experience and it didn't disappoint. Stopped by with friends after a long hike and it was perfect! Friendly and engaging staff, great food and a good atmosphere.

I love this place! If you are in the area, you have to stop here! Great service and amazing food! This is a true landmark and cannot be missed! If you can't decide between pies, they will let you do half and half! You won't be disappointed!

Pizza had the best "mountain crust" and was served with honey. An array of premium toppings were available, really recommend the Prime Rib! Service was genuine and comforting, plus dog friendly outdoor patio seating with a waterfall view!!

Don't forget the loaded all you can eat salad bar buffet...with fruit and chocolate pudding for desserts as well.

We were told that this place had awesome pizza, but after spending over an hour waiting during a slow afternoon lunch hour, I had to leave and never found out. The server brought out a pizza that we did not order. After sending it back and waiting for a 2nd pie, it was dropped by the server on the way out to the table. After that, we left frustrated and hungry. Accidents happen, but getting orders wrong is not cool. Please note that the server was nice and apologetic.

Great Pizza with a different twist. Kids and adults love it. Honey on the table is to put on the crust, a Colorado tradition. Kids love their wings too.

Amazing pizza! I always bring guest who visit Denver to Beau Jo s and it never disappoints! It is a huge space but very busy so plan for time to wait. There are lots of little shop around so it s fun to walk around before or after!

I love Beau Jos!!!!!! Best pizza place I have ever been to!!!! First time I came here, I thought the honey on crust idea was a little strange, but then I tried it, and I was hooked!! I don't understand why people are making such bad reviews, I have to been to several Beau Jos now, and I have never received condescending or demeaning service. Recommendation when going here, if you love meat, get the mountain crust motherlode. Keep doing well guys!!

Ok, so this is a Colorado staple.

Just the other day a friend asked, So what do I need to do in Colorado? I said Ski, snowboard, camp, mountain bike, fly fish, and eat pizza...at Beau Jo s...but only in Idaho Springs.

You have to try this place. It s Colorado s own pizza style. I ve been eating here since I can remember (like I was 4) and I ve never had a bad meal or an unpleasant server.

Definitely give this place a shot. You won t regret it ... and yes, you have to put the honey on the crust! ;)

We have a group that goes backpacking every year, and as tradition, if possible, we always stop in for an afternoon meal on the way home. As always they are incredibly busy but, work as quickly as possible to accommodate you! Food was terrific! Pizza and salad bar, simple yet so satisfying! Service staff has never let us down! Great atmosphere and great drinks!
