Stopped by Beau Jo's pizza parlor during my trip through Idaho Springs with a friend. We had the Sky Hawk pizza, which consisted of pepperoni, hatch chilies, their signature sauce, and the honey wheat crust. It was very good, if not just a little greasy. Overall I am a big fan of their take on pizza. If you're in the area and jonesing for pizza, give Beau Jo's a try.

Huge pizza pies in a historical Colorado mountain town. The classic finale to a weekend of snow sports! Kids love it, parents kick back with a tasty draft brew, and the staff are very friendly. There's even a dumb waiter and honey at the table to make those big crusts into a sweet treat!

The Mountain crust is a joke. One of the worse pizzas I've ever had in my life. Felt sick after the first slice. And I love pizza. Way over priced, like two to three times the same or much better pizza almost anywhere else. The service was horrible. Surprised they have lasted 45 years. I will never go back there again, ever.

I really like the pizza,v and I like that it's special to Colorado. I'll keep suggesting going or getting the pizza, just know that right now with covid (July 2020), things are a little stressed right now.

I have been going here pretty much since the first year. It is one of the only places near the Front Range that has maintained consistency and reputation. absolutely the best in area. Mountain pies and stuffed mushrooms are absolutely on point. Service is excellent, and one cannot be put off by how busy it has become. Quality has a price for proximity to the busy. You moved here for a reason, right? Welcome home, enjoy the wait. It will all be worth it.

I love Beau Jo's, but this location consistently holds highest rank for me. Nestled in downtown Idaho Springs, the location is more than ideal to share some pizza with friends or family and the friendly staff always helps foster that environment. In terms of quality of food, the pizza is always amazing. This time we also decided to try the baked mushrooms as an app and they were a cheesy delight. If you're driving through Idaho Springs, definitely stop by!

Even though we had to wait a while for our pizza, it did not disappoint. I tried the cauliflower crust and it was amazing. We stop here every year on our way home and the tradition will continue.

Our first time eating here though we've driven by countless times. As another person noted, the food is nothing special. Everything from the salad bar seems to come from a can and the pizza was just kinda meh - canned sweet red sauce and lots of cheese.

Famous restaurant not so famous for the pocketbook. The server himself was absolutely amazing!!! But when you order three pizzas and they come at you with $122 bill omg! Did not realize a med pizza with topping for a cost of 25 plus and I mean a small med! And our so called large cost 32 plus. And another pizza dont ask! This place is a complete rip off! Don t go here, go to the store and buy every topping you could ever possibly imagine the most expensive ingredients and you re probably save 3/4 of the money and go home and cook it yourself which would still probably be a better turnout and taste !? Where do they buy the ingredients, Dubai? And have them overnighted in shipping which you will pay..... I think the restaurant manager needs to know where to buy food for cost purposes, because he would not have to charge so much for his pizzas, it s ridiculous !!

This place is a must-visit if you ever drive through Idaho Springs. Their pizza is delicious and one of a kind. Also, they are vegan-friendly. Which is cool considering most pizza concepts aren't.

A SURPRISINGLY AMAZING PIZZA. I first visited Beau Jo's on the recommendation of a skier I had met on the slopes. They were from Golden and I was managing a bus load of 50+ High School students. We called ahead and to our surprise they had just had a large group cancel and we jumped in and took their place.

I had no clue what to order so I let the manager make the order for us and we were all blown away!

Over the years I have visited several time but once was with my father who really does not like pizza.... He makes the trip through Idaho Spring several times in the summer and can usually be found in Beau Jo's on the trip.

The Mountain Pie is one of the most unique pizza's I have ever eaten and I love the fresh ingredients.

This is a place that I literally tell all of my friends traveling to Colorado to seek out and stop..... I cannot count the number of phone called with friends telling me that this was the amazing pizza.
