Great Pizza, but terrible condescending service from our waiter. Throughout the course of the meal he called us "sweety", "Buddy", "big guy", along with talking to us as he was walking away from the table in a demeaning tone of voice. He also tried to take away our plates when we were still finishing the pizza, along with starring people down at the table in a mean way. Sure it was a holiday weekend and this guy had to work a holiday, but please.... dont take it out on patrons who are paying almost $40 for a pizza trying to enjoy a meal.

My wife and I were headed up to Silverthorne and we needed to top up the tanks...gas and our stomachs. We were unfamiliar with everything but the gas stations so we took a chance on Beau Jo's. The food was great, the atmosphere was nice with a mixture of regulars and transient guests, and the staff made us feel really welcome. Their mac and cheese was good too!

The current outdoor seating arrangement is amazing! I would highly suggest making reservations if you plan on dining on the weekend. The service was great, if you are not familiar with Colorado weather you may want to consider dining inside.

Great pizza. We took staff recommendations and got the Cajun pizza. Wish we had tried the mountain crust. We stuck with prairie crust. I did like that they also offered white or wheat on crusts as well as GF and cauliflower crust for dietary reasons. Pizzas are in tiers. The tiers are def by calorie content. After a multi-day hike, the Cajun offered the right amount of calories to fill the void in my calorie deficit belly. For as busy as it was, the wait was not long. Parking behind the building fills fast, so make sure to drop off and person to out your name in while you hunt for parking. All parking is metered, so don't forget to pay! They watch due to high traffic. Saw several tickets

The food was absolutely amazing. We got the recommended pizza and it was fantastic. The crust was the best part. We got the honey cheese bread appetizer and it was also delicious. I got the summer drink and it was minty and refreshing and also pretty to look at. I would say that this pizza joint could run up against New Yorks best pizza and win! We will definitely be returning. The staff was also very helpful with the menu and she was very friendly. We really enjoyed our meal at this establishment.

This place is the best mountain pie since the world first formed. Whenever I am in town to visit family this is a number 1 stop on our visit from Riverside, CA. It's safe to say that I'd make the drive of over a thousand miles just for a little taste of that mountain made pie! I absolutely enjoy the crust and can't wait to dowse it in honey for sweet finish! Not to mention their Apple Cobbler Pie! It is a taste that is unreal and packed with flavor.

If you ever find yourself in Idaho Springs be sure to make your way to Beau Jo's for some mountain pies! Be sure to come hungry and loosen your belts!

After two of my sons and daughter in law climbed Mt Bierstadt in George Town we stopped in Idaho Springs for dinner. We had an issue with our car right in front of Jeau Jo's. The bartender went way over and beyond his duty and got us going. I want to thank him so much for his help.

Their gluten-free pizza is always delicious the service is fantastic even though it was busy the only downfall when they brought our pizza out it was warm and not hot so it had been sitting for awhile which explains why it took so long to get our pizza other than that five stars

Last week I traveled to Vail and Denver with my best friend from Orlando and she says, we have to stop by on our way to Vail and eat in this amazing place where you eat pizza and then the crust with honey. I was like honey? Really. So everything was scheduled and we get there. Our server was incredible and asked about if it was our first time. It was for me but not to my friend. We shareda 2 pound thick crust . Shown on the pictures. It was called italian village or something italian. Let me tell you, it was out of this world and then trying the crust with honey, another level in tasting. It is an experience hard to explain. The mix of the crusty dough and the honey is a harmony on your senses!
After 2 days in Vail and going back to Denver, we went again and tried another pie. Loved it even more. So, if you are on the area, this is a most stop to do. I will give it 20 if I could. Congrats!!!

Delicious pizza! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary where we ate 44 years ago. The pizza is still great and the business has expanded. Chevy crust with honey. Nice atmosphere. But you may have to stand in line a bit, it's popular.

Top notch service and food. Before we were sat, I took my dog to the upper outside patio. The server there informed me that it was only for service animals. When I explained that my dog was a registered service animal, she asked if he was an emotional support dog. When I said yes, she said, "Well this area is for people with a real disability." While she was not our server and Zack who was, was fabulous, it would have been a whole lot less irritating if the word "real" was replaced with physical. My disability may be invisible for most but it's very real for me. Other than that, it was a fantastic experience.

Rudest staff every time I've been there. Especially the girl who answered the phone while I was putting in my order. They've forgotten my pizza once I waited over 45 minutes to pick up a phone order when I finally asked them to check again, the pizza had been sitting there the entire time. And is till paid the full price. Last time when I was on the phone and they were rude to me, I decided to still place my order, but then I was so upset by the way I was treated, I decided to go to whole foods instead and I never called to cancel my order. I feel bad for wasted food, but that location isn't getting my money anymore.

Made a visit from chicago and had to try the famous mountain pie. It was a cute place and the crust & honey was good but the rest of the pizza wasnt something special. I was satisfied with the place overall due to the atmosphere, view, and new experience :)

For a quick lunch stop coming from the mountains Beau Jo's is a staple for most travelers. The Mountain Pies are filling at 1lb and 2lb options. Make sure you grab some honey on the table to use with your crust... delicious!!
