The pizza was amazing. They definitely have a different take on pizza and the crust it self. They give you a bottle of honey to dip your crust in and its definitely a game changer!

Visited this restaurant while passing through and had some amazing pizza. I never thought I'd have honey on pizza and like it. If you're skeptical...just try it. You'll be surpized!

Are dinner there last night. Came home ended up with DIARRHEA, AND THROWING UP ALL NIGHT. I'D SAY THAT'S GOOD POISONING, SUSPECT THE CRAB MEAT FROM SALAD BAR? BE AWARE!!!

It was good. I brought my friends who had never been to Colorado before, and they said it was the best pizza they'd ever had. They also serve their drinks in Mason jars which is pretty cool.

A Colorado staple for after mountain activity eating. Honey on the pizza crust is the best desert. Good beer selection. Sometimes very crowded so expect a wait. Take time to walk around and look at the history. The salad bar is nicely stocked and lets you grab some healthy food.

Always awesome pizza. The definate stop for pizza when leaving the beautiful Rocky Mountains returning to the Denver area.

Good pizza and wings. The place was interesting, like you were in an old western movie. You can also get a free charge for your hybrid vehicle too,which is why I tried the place. But there are only two plugs.

The mountain pie is amazing after a weekend of skiing. Make sure to pour some honey on the crust!

Was a little upset with my (partial) visit. My boyfriend and I were up camping in the Rockies and heard about the rant and rave of Beau Jo s so we called ahead to make sure they were dog friendly because we had our pup. They proceeded to tell us that there was an outdoor patio that was dog friendly. We arrive, the patio is out back facing highway, no biggie. My boyfriend went inside to make them aware we would be on the patio and he was told that dogs really weren t permitted (although they did have dog tie up signs) and that they had no one to serve us and we d be best going elsewhere. We left a little upset, mainly because we did call prior to arriving. Hoping we can get back under different circumstances!

Always stop there on my way to the mountains. I like their salad bar and menu overall has many options of cozy food. Atmosphere is very welcoming too!

The service was great. I don t remember the guys name who served me but he said he had been working for 10 or 12 years and was in the military. Great guy very nice, give that man a raise.

If you like super thick under cooked dough that you get to put honey on, this is the place for you. Since they are a pizza joint the other menu items are not great either.

This place is a must stop if you are in the area or passing through. The staff was great! The location was great, and we really enjoyed the honey garlic cheese bread. I was not sure about it at first, but it was good. There are also a lot of great photos and neat things around the restaurant to look at.

This is the best restaurant for pizza that I have ever had in my life. It's really really really great place I love it they have really great kinds of pizza. It's really special and unique. The dough type is soft and light you can choose what you want of course. I surprised about that restaurant. I thought it's an Italian restaurant , but it was an American restaurant . It looks like made from a really professional chef ..

First time visiting Denver and I was brought to Beau Jo's to try some Mountain Pizza with some honey on it! Let's just say this might have been one of the best pizzas I have ever had! Absolutely phenomenal! This was a clutch stop on our drive to Vail from Denver! The service was amazing too! I will definitely come back one day!

The staff is great and food is great it's was very busy when we went but the wait time was great. But don't plan to have a window seat if you have under 6 in your group!

Always stop by on my way to Vail and this weekend didn't disappoint. Brought new friends and the were pleasantly surprised at the quality of pizza.

A bit pricey, but it is pretty tasty. The Cajun is possibly the best pizza I've ever tasted. Great atmosphere too.

Essential stop if traveling i-70. Have been coming here since I was a child and now bring my kids here. Honey plus a mountain pie... does it get better than that? Be sure to check out the visitor's map and, though they still don't put every kids napkin drawing on the walls, they still will post them in the lobby so grab some crayons and get to work!

My hiking tradition in the area is to stop at the end and grab a delicious slice and a pint.

Having Celiac, I wasn't so sure about eating here, but I'm so happy I went! Quite a few gluten free options, and it is all so delicious!

A regular stop on the way home from the mountains. Many people in line on the sidewalk, but only a 15 minute wait. Creative flavors. Love the Mountain Pie crust and honey.

We had pepperoni, ham/cheese pizzas and they both were awesome! Never heard of this place before as we are not from Colorado. Staying in Blackhawk and well worth the drive to get this pizza. The drive is beautiful as well!

Best pizza in Colorado. Must be experienced in Idaho Springs. It's good at lower altitude, but great here. Mountain pie, honey on the crust after you eat the middle.

If you're traveling back to Denver from the mountains, you have to stop at Beau Jo's. There is nothing like it.

A waiter at another restaurant told us about this place. He said it was the best pizza in the area. And although since it's the only pizza we had while visiting the area I can't say it's the best. But it was definitely delicious. They give honey to eat the rolled crust with. Pair the pizza with one of the local beers and enjoy.

Best pizza in Colorado! Honey and wheat crust all day. Stay and do the challenge if you're brave enough.

I was excited to see the cauliflower crust available as a gluten free option, but it was disappointing. The texture and taste was off.

If you've never tried this pizza, you need to put it on your bucket list. Sit on the south side and watch the waterfall drop right by the Charlie Taylor waterwheel. Thick crust + honey, try it at least once!

The food was great however the service was terrible. Half the time we couldn't get our waitress' attention because she was in the kitchen on her cell phone. (We could see into part of the kitchen from where we were sitting)
However food is fantastic which is the most important part.

Food was great. Serice could be better...and beware if you pay by credit/debit card. They pass on the surcharge to the customer disguised as "gratuity tax" which is illegal I do believe.

This is the best pizza I've had in a long time! I'm from Minnesota and this is the only pizza I've had in Colorado and I don't know that I'll be looking for a different place next time I go! Nicely done!!
