Super cozy with great pizza. It is right off the highway if you are passing thru, but, if not, Idaho Springs is a charming town. So many cute shopped and a selection of innovative restaurants; lots of craft beer

The pizza is great at any of their locations, but the others don't have the charm of this building and location. Plus, the beer from Tommyknocker just down the street must be fresh! The honey makes me actually look forward to the crust.

The pizza was great and honey on the crust - yum. Our server was friendly and took good care of us. However, the chocolate chip cookie was a disgrace. For $7.99 we got 6 thin slices of packaged cookie dough placed in a circle and baked. I would think an establishment like Beau Joes would be ashamed to serve such a disgusting dessert.

For a supposedly nice place, my sons and I ate in the bar area, and got treated like crap. Bartender was a rude witch. We were well dressed, respectful, and quiet. But she was mad because it was 35 minutes till closing. We'll know better next time

Great place for the whole family! This is a must-stop pizza place if you're going up or heading back from the mountains. Great decor, amazing service, good food, but mediocre prices. Be prepared to spend a few dollars here.

This place has been a 'grab dinner on the way home from the mountains' tradition for my friends and me for literally decades. The food is always excellent, and the fun, open atmosphere is well supported by the friendly staff.

Hands down the BEST pizza you will ever eat. If you go, please expect a line... This place is popular and you will have to wait for a table during lunch and dinner hours. But it is so worth it!

This old restaurant is well-known for its mountain-style pizza dipped in honey. The restaurant is spacious but a bit dark inside. The pizza is delicious and full of flavors but pricey to me (specialty pizza costs around $45). However you won't be disappointed for there is a full salad bar to your choice. Recommended for newcomers though.

Get the Mountain Pizza, or else why are you even there ?

So the honey part is to be used to dip the crust in after you've nawed off the actual pizza part of your slice. So yummy and fun to eat!

I've had several of their pizzas and you can't go wrong.

Overpriced food and an over-complicated menu evident of a chain restaurant. The food was good but not anything exceptional. Service was terrible; the hostesses at the front were unreceptive and unclear about the wait time while our own waitress was unhelpful and apparently annoyed at having to wait on us (i.e. do her job). I now know to avoid Beau Jo's whenever I come across another one in Colorado.

Good pizza but
different from some others. They have a high outside crust that they dip in honey when they finish the heart of the pizza. Great idea.

Had lunch on the way back from Keystone to Denver last Friday. We were seated immediately and it is casual so our snow gear was fine to wear while we ate. I am gluten free and they have a gluten free pizza option but I opted for a grilled veggie salad and it was exactly what I needed! Cute place and a great little town!

We were a party of 8. Never easy to serve a large party and even harder nowadays. We were extremely pleased with our visit. Family was in from out of town and saw the pizza on tables as we walked by...they were smitten. Everyone loved their pizza...especially the honey on the crust. Our server was pleasant, friendly and attentive. She was constantly bringing refills and making sure we had everything we needed, can t wait to return!

Amazing! Yummy pizza & sandwiches, great beverages and a nice salad bar all delivered within the coolest atmosphere! BeauJo's never disappoints! When I go with the girls I run into the most fun and eclectic crowd! When I am with the family, everyone is happy and satisfied! Thanks BeauJo's for being that cool fun delicious place that I can take anyone after a day of skiing or boarding!

A decent slice of pizza in a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere. Menu has good selection of appetizers, and pizza styles. A little pricey (a small, personal pie with 3 toppings was shout $18). Service friendly and reasonably quick.

Thirty plus minutes sitting at a dirty table, waiting for water. When I asked a manager about bussing our table, he rolled his eyes and said that "it'll just be a minute." Server came to the table next to us 4 times without so much as handing us a menu. Had to look up the menu online to order. Went inside to ask for silverware, the hostess said "what do you want." and "what do we say?" like I was a child. Waitress gave us free salad bar for our trouble. Kitchen also dropped half of my pizza, so the waitress brought me the non-dropped half, and then a whole new pizza. Building is cute and food is good. Would not go back.

Edit: amazing response by the owner. Indicative of the service you'll receive. They're happy I got the food I paid for and asked me to come back. They have no awareness of good customer service. Changing from 2 to 1 star.

Delicious pizza! The crust is always so tasty with honey drizzled on it. Our waiter was very kind and helpful, even when we asked if the overheard fan could be turned down. Location is right in the downtown of Idaho Springs. There is free parking behind the restaurant.
