Best pizza anywhere!
The atmoshere is the Rocky Mountains and the pizza is fresh with the crust thick and yummy. I must for anyone coming to Colorado and my son from Florida has to eat here any time he is in town.

A absolute MUST STOP for dinner if you're coming back from the mountains...the best (Pizza) Pie in the area and true to it's colorado roots!!! Get the mountain pie! Great beer selection, good seating for groups as well!

After hiking Gray's Peak, my boyfriend and I stopped in for a late lunch. We ordered one of their specialty pizzas and requested red peppers in place of the green peppers that were listed on it in the menu. We sat and patiently waited for our food. Our server came up to us and straight out said that there had been a mistake in the kitchen and they had put green peppers on the pizza. Before we could say that it was no problem at all, she said she'd spoke to the manager about it and that they were going to comp us the salad bar while they prepared our pizza correctly. We would have gladly eaten the green pepper pizza without a complaint, but we thought it was pretty cool of them to be so proactive on their end about the mistake. The manager himself served us our correct pizza (probably worried that we were the type of customers to get "irate" over such a matter...) So... Kudos to the Idaho Springs Beau Jo's for excellent customer service!

Best pizza pies for many miles in either direction.
For sure a must try if you are passing 'the Springs' on I-70. You can thank me later as you enjoy the scenery around town to walk off the delicious food.

Wow! I am so disappointed in Beaujo's! When in the world did a large pizza get to be $49.25?? My son were at the Idaho Springs location yesterday, & we ordered a large regular crust, vegan cheese, vegan sausage, mushrooms & pepperoncini pizza. We also ordered two (2) iced teas, and at the end of the meal we were presented a bill for $61.78!!! That is I-70 highway robbery in my book, and I have shared this experience with several friends today in the Denver area (I live in the DTC), and they all agreed. How in the world do you figure that you can charge this type of money, and expect people to actually come back...no matter HOW tasty the pizza is???

Classic Colorado place to eat! Mountain style Pizza has a thick rolled crust to dip in honey at the end of each slice. Place blows up on weekends about 1 oclock. This visit we had a reservation for noon that they messed up and didn't get to sit until 1230, when we arrived at 1130 to be early. Major bummer, but not their usual.

Best pizza I have ever had, staff was so friendly and let my friend bring her St Bernard dog on the back patio. Thank you for a amazing experience.

Kelly was an amazing waitress! Very friendly and helpful. So many craft brews to choose from I didn't know what to select. I told Kelly what I like so she made a recommendation which was delicious! My mountain pie was perfect. Perhaps the best I've had in the 40 years I've been coming to the Idaho Springs location!! Thank you Beau Jo's!!

We didn't go Beau Jo's when we were in Idaho Springs. So can't give a recent review. Sorry.

Mine was take out order, and everything was ready by the time I reached there. Good customer service and will definitely recommend this place. Will be back for dine-in experience soon.

I got the Tuscan. It was ok, but what I really enjoyed was the dough. Props to the baker. Twas good.

Everything was absolutely fantastic best pizza I've ever had best service I've ever had at a pizza restaurant my wife went to go use the restroom and we were kicked out from one of the managers because of her dog even though we've been there for almost an hour and a half and she is emotional support dog when asked what kind of dog she was she said that kind of dog was not allowed in here. Thanks for the last-minute hospitality.

Been coming back to Beau Jo's for years and I'm from Australia. Best mountain pie ever, never disappoints. You can tell why it's so busy all the time! Great atmosphere for the whole family.

If you don t know, you best go find out what the hype is all about.

Downside: terribly long wait (it was noon on a Friday) to get our pie and it was pretty expensive. Plus side: excellent pet friendliness and delicious food. The pizza itself was not disappointing!

Honey crust pizza is a must. Great unlimited salad bar as well and good draft beer selection.

Not worth $32 for a large 13 pizza and a $6/person salad bar consisting of old brown lettuce, frozen pees and corn and grocery store macaroni salad. The building itself is cool, overall we were very disappointed.

The manager who responded to this post never responded to my email, so I still feel like this review is accurate.

I LOVE THIS PLACE, but today I had a terrible experience. Our waitress messed up 2 of our 3 pizzas. This can be fixed but add to it the waitress and the Manager Ally wanted to stand at our table and review tickets and debate the issue. We had to basically demand they stop talking and go order our correct food on the fly. When I approached them at the waitress station to express our frustration at having more than half our table having to wait yet again on food, I was treated rudely and walked away from. When the manager returned to the table to tell us what she was going to do, we tried to talk to her and she was once again rude and simply walked away from us. We are all older adults, not in town for the legal weed, we are here for a business trade show, and being treated like the Manager Ally was mad at us for being frustrated and expecting amazing service just pushed things way outside acceptable. PLEASE reply to me so we can get this resolved or I am afraid me and my other 4 business associates just won't be able to come back or recommend this place ever again.

Just ordered two large pizzas and buffalo wings over the phone. Picked up. $90! Is their food covered in gold flakes? Hope so.

Great Pizza, it's shocking how much variety there is and how much you can customize. Good atmosphere and great local beers.

BE PREPARED TO PAY $5.50 PER TOPPING!!

I've been to this location many times and today as we were passing through back home to Denver, my wife and I decided to jump online and order a pizza. We ordered a large with 3 veggies and 1 meat having no idea it was going to cost $45!!

I went back in and asked for a manager because the online prices were different and there was no itemized receipt. First, the server Katie was rude and second, the female manager was just as rude. They blamed me for looking at the wrong menu and stared at me like "so why are you still standing here?"

Then some other shorter lady chimed in and said that they've recently increased their prices because after all I just ordered a "gourmet pie!" The manager never said a word about the confusion or frustration and really couldn't have been bothered.

So fine, you've raised your prices and not all sites are up to date and apparently have different menus and menu prices. And since I'm in customer service myself, it's all about how the customer feels leaving a situation and I left feeling like it was my fault, no apology, and all three employees were so nasty about the whole ordeal.

And to top it off, my wife's Patagonia jacket got ripped from a nail sticking out of the Togo counter!!!

This is definitely the last time I order from BeauJo's!

This is the best pizza I have ever had the good fortune to stuff in my face. Outstanding food and absolutely love the location. Every creek of the hardwood floors while looking at the pictures on the wall and the antiques on display reaks of history. This place is a must visit!

Great experience getting some nachos at this local hit of a restaurant. Kristen was a joy of a server as well.

That was a very delicious experience. The crust is thin in the bottom and with a very big bread in the end. We ordered the sausage combo.

Overpriced very average food.

Thanks for the acknowledgment Beau Jo's management. To elaborate on my simple comment, my wife and I were underwhelmed to receive a processed, store bought 'fruit cup' as part of our child's meal. Also on the day our waiter wasn't very personable and I overheard him complain to another staff member about only receiving a $10 tip from another table, this was a big turn off and i think he probably doesn't represent the company well.

We try to hit up Beau Jo's every time we come down I-70; I've been visiting since the early 90's so it's become a tradition. I love the thick pizza crust - crispy outside and perfectly dense within. The wheat crust is best.
Sometimes, though, pizza is just too much so I am always thankful for the fresh salad br. I tried some of the items from the summer menu today and was not disappointed.

Every bit as good as I hoped it would be. The Mountain Motherlode was delicious.

Idaho Springs is such a nice place. Beau Jo's makes it even better.

My wife and I have always loved everything we have tried here. There is nothing else like their pizza and their salad bar was surprisingly good too! A great spot in town too. It's worth a walk around town after/before your meal!

To be honest, I m not really sure why this place has so many 5 star reviews. We were disappointed that some items we ordered we could of just got from the store ourselves. (Tostitos tortilla chips? Country time pink lemonade? Carrots looked a few days old..) the famous pizza crust was good but everything was subpar. The building is old, tables were sticky, spent a lot of time waiting to be service, and felt like we paid way to much for food that was somewhat decent.

Pizza is to-die-for. Amazing crust..they give you honey to dip the crust in. A MUST stop.

Great Gluten-free options. The GF chicken tenders are fantastic, as is the GF cheese bread. The GF pizza is deliciously awesome.

Delicious pizza and a really unique environment. Went on a Saturday during dinner and it was about a 40 minute wait. Parking nearby was mostly paid, but reasonable. Pizza ran a little expensive, but it was legitimately tasty.
