We were told we had to try this place while visiting from out of town. Honestly we werent blown away by anything. The place seemed kind of dirty and the food was sub-par. Everything was sticky. The view across the street of the waterfall was nice. Maybe we should've tried one of the newer locations?

First it took 15 minutes to get our drinks ordered. The service was horrible. We barely saw our waitress. We weren t even given plates to eat our pizza. We had to get plates from the salad bar. When my husband finished his drink she refilled it with the wrong drink. Secondly they are a little too proud of their pizza....it was $35 for a medium pizza when it was just decent tasting. You get more crust than toppings. And if you want dipping sauce for your crust it s an upcharge.

Pizza was awesome! i sat on the patio and there was a beautiful view of a waterfall! my service was below average.. I ordered a beer and never got it. If it had been busy outside I would've completely understood. being a waitress myself I let a lot of things slide when I'm out to eat but oddly he had plenty of time to chit chat it up with the table next to me. tbh it was the most cringe worthy service I've gotten. and really not getting my beer is my only complaint but this guy wasn't writing anything down either so that doesn't help.

Pizza. Pizza. Pizzaaaaaaaaa. That's all you need to know. If you want to tickle your taste buds with probably the greatest pizza in existence, then drop what you're doing and get over to Beau Jo's ASAP!!!

Honey cheese bread was the best cheese bread I've ever had. Although I am a honey lover..-their honey is amazing! Their pizza is really good (their sauce is the best imo), employees are super friendly!!

Pizza was delicious. service was good. atmosphere and location are nice. parking is not bad with a lot in back of the building. salad bar is kind of slim but what they had was fresh and tasted good. Price is as expected for a 'boutique' pizza place- not outrageous, not dominos. 4.5 stars because of small salad bar and salad price.

For years I have stopped at Beau Jos in Idaho springs for their pizza. This last time was terrible! The pizza was so oil it was very unpleasant. When your hands are covered in oil that's bad.

They have a great gluten free pizza crust. They initially left out the cheese on my pizza, but they made a new one. It left me eating well after my dinner party had finished but they were extremely sorry and comped my meal.

a little pricey but really cool mountain town with great food and service they need to keep the air conditioning a little higher, yes it was probably close to 60 degrees where I was sitting in was freezing and the blower didn't shut off the whole time I was there. I did take a little while to get the pizza but worth the wait

Been coming here since I was a kid, service has gotten a little worse over the years but the mystique and pizza has remained incredible. I try to take newcomers to i70 to Beau Jo's as for me it's a Colorado staple.

Was recommended by several people and businesses and I can at least say that they were right that it tastes phenomenal, but customer service was lacking hard. Was first quoted 25 minute wait to enter, turned into 60. Then got a table, hidden in the corner. Our waiter was the bartender and he was tending and serving the entire bar area alone, it seemed. He also liked to get a little too close for comfort. Apart from that, because of our poor location, he left us without refilled drinks for over 25 minutes whilst we had been waiting for our food for over 50. All of the food arrived flawless, but a little slow and the waiter/bartenders ineffectiveness didn't help. Might return in the future, but was not impressed by the service.

First time having "Colorado style pizza". I was afraid it would be like Chicago style, which I don't quite like, but it wasn't. It was unique. I don't prefer the honey on the crust like they suggest but the pizza was good nonetheless.

The pizza is different then what you would normally expect. The crust is massive and the toppings are deep. Definitely give it a try, even if you don't like deep dish pizza, this is different. Quaint feel inside.

The pizza we got here was amazing. having never had anything like the crust with honey we decided to try that and it was probably one of the best choices we made our entire trip. We also got their salad bar and it was perfect just what we had wanted.

The town just keep surprising us and this pizza place really was a pepperoni on the top.

The food was excellent! I guess we made the mistake of building our own pizza - it was $16 for a very small pizza with two toppings. If we return, I know to just buy one of their specialty pizzas. The honey on the mountain crust was incredible!

I don't eat much pizza these days, but enjoyed my first visit to Beau Jo's. It's situated in a building that has a lot of history, and the pizza is very unique. I had a "Mountain Pie" for the first time, and will recommend this to any pizza lover. The pizza is very filling, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're in Idaho Springs!
