I am very lucky to have Bear Creek so close to home! Love everything about this place! Beautiful scenery with very modern clean lodge and restaurant! Stayed in the hotel that is 5 stars on its own! Get a message or mani-pedi with the wife than enjoy the indoor and outdoor heated pools! Mountain not to big or challenging for the advanced skier but great for beginners and kids, or to just mess around on! I also worked as a ski instructor here as a teen for 7 years... it is a great place to work! Had many great nights and weekends here when I was younger! Don't forget to check out the many events hosted here from spring to fall.

We stayed for a weekend vacation with our 5y/o kids. It was their first time skiing. Their instructors (Jack and Zoe) were fantastic, so patient and caring. The kids really enjoyed it and are looking forward to the next trip. Our instructor, Joe, was awesome too. The rooms were clean. The food is good. The only minor issue is that our room was not ready at check in time and that is kind of a curve ball when you are travelling with small children. But the rest of the trip was exceptional. Thank you for a great time.

This is a gem of a luxurious resort at an affordable price. I wish that I would have known about it sooner. Tucker was very welcoming explaining all the many amenities. Swimming, indoor & outdoor, kayaking, paddleboarding, paddle boats, hiking, biking, trails, disc golf, to name a few of my favorites. All included in the price of the room. Evening concerts & events. Maria & Karen very friendly and knowledgeable making sure we were enjoying during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Food delicious & loved the handmade milkshakes. The place is a dream. Booked another stay & can't wait to go back. I highly recommend Bear Creek Mountain Resort!!!

Great to have a mini-version of a Colorado-Type ski/snow activity resort in the Lehigh Valley. Easy to access and decent prices. Make reservations for the slopes in advance to avoid disappointment. Best to bring and tune-up your gear before you arrive to avoid lines and get right to skiing, snowboarding, tubing, etc. Great hot chocolate to boot!

Even though it was warm the snow was still good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The Ski shop manager was extremely helpful and funny. He was very accommodating with helpful information that helped me land my first snowboarding investment...my new Helmut.

Easy parking and finding where I needed to go. Waitstaff was friendly, food was alright, but nothing that sets Bear Creek apart from other ski resorts. 5 out of 5, based on how easy everything was.

This review is for the snowsports side of the business. We've never had the pleasure of staying in the hotel or using other amenities. That being said if your a beginner or intermediate snowsports lover this is a great mountain for you.

My wife and I took up skiing this year and after visiting several local mountains, Bear Creek was hands down the best experience we had for beginners. The are simply the best mountain to learn and practice your developing skills on. From their fantastic beginner deals that included rentals and lessons all day long if you needed them, to challenging runs that helped you keep improving along the way there really was everything you needed to hone your skills and become a competent skier or boarder. As we got more experienced we came back for more lessons and enjoyed the mountain even more. Every instructor we encountered was better then the last and used positive reinforcement to help correct deficiencies in our form, something severely lacking at other resorts. (If you have the choice ask for Bryce, Mike or Jake and you will be in excellent hands)

On our last trip of the season we had an unfortunate mishap that required the help of Ski Patrol and once again the resort shined. They were fast, professional and had modern facilities that made you feel safe and in good hands. No one wants to have an issue where you need ski patrol but if something does happen here once again you will be in great hands.

Thanks Bear Creek for having a top notch Snowsports program. Keep up the great work and we will see you back on the mountain in 2020/2021

One of our Familys favorite mountain resorts for skiing/snowboarding. Although definitely far from a large mountain (Base is @ 600FT - Summit 1100FT - Vertical 510FT)... They still pack quite a punch when it comes to the terrain parks, advanced ski (black diamond), and beginner slopes. As a matter of fact this mountain I would have to say makes a PERFECT begginer slope if your looking to get into the sport. This is where I first went to get into the sport and still find myself coming back for more. They're resort is very well kept and COZY with a great view of the ski slope. They also have a great variety of food (with a bar of course). Modestly priced lift prices & food. I will definitely be returning. Keep up the great work guys!

Had a great time snowboarding at the mountain. The snow quality was great from a couple inches of fresh snow and the groomed snow was great underneath. There were some really icy spots later in the day. One of the lifts was shut down due to difficulties and that restricted access to two runs, which were runs I was mainly doing for the level of snowboarder I am. So that was a bit disappointing but overall a great experience.

This place is quick and easy to get to from where I live. It s not a super challenging mountain but it s still fun. Their terrain parks are well kept and their facilities are very nice. A great place to go for a quick trip, they also offer 4 hour passes so you can just stop by for a little bit. The lifts are fast and the snow machines are newer.

I did evening lift ticket and snowboard rental. The prices are very reasonable and the slopes are great for the occasional skier/boarder.

The lines at the lift were never that long and the facilities are well maintained. Everyone there was observing good covid protocol.

I would definitely go back again for another evening trip.

I ve been to multiple events and weddings here. Everything is always clean and up to date. The employees are always helpful and personable.

The restaurants and bars are all great and consistent in quality. Some people will say it s too expensive, but they are usually people who don t like to spend money on anything ever.

The hotel rooms range from normal-nice to extravagant-nice...there are no bad rooms.

I love having a respectable ski resort within a 40 minute drive from my house. Decent trails, fun terrain park, and the tubbing hill looks fun (never done it though). I got my wife a private lesson from April. She was great!! I highly recommend her for a beginners private lesson. Bear Creek is a great compromise for those of you who don't want to waste your time at tiny Spring Mountain but are too lazy to drive an extra 1/2 hour to get to Blue Mountain.

Stayed here three nights for a work retreat. The room I stayed in had a gas fireplace and a king bed. The bed was very comfortable! I liked how the comforter and pillows seemed to conform to my body and support it instead of being squishy. More

We took a group of 70 seventh graders to go snow tubing. The staff, both inside the hotel and on the hill, were great with our kids and very accommodating. This has become one of our favorite field trip destinations.

Just went ice tubing. It was ok. Belt lift had issues and one of the workers blamed the guests. Said it was bc we were not social distancing which was not true. My friend ended up with bad bruises on her back from popping up and coming down on ice pcs.

We attended a wedding at this venue. We also stayed the night. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Staff seemed very friendly and responded in a professional manner. The food at the wedding was very good. From the appetizers to the cake we loved it all. Even the after hours bar was great. We ended up getting late night snacks of nachos and wings that turned out to be the perfect end of a great day. Would not hesitate to visit this venue again.

This is an amazing lodge. Beyond the slopes, beyond the food, beyond the rooms - the staff is absolutely amazing! We will return to this Resort because of the way we were treated consistently throughout our stay. You cannot control the weather, but you can get treated superbly whether you are on the slopes, in the restaurant, or simply asking a question at the front desk. Don't miss this place and if you are active or retired military - GO...amazing place for veterans!

The resort was nice, we got a room with a fireplace and felt it was worth the up charge. Only issues were that showers were very cold and that we had to wait a long time for check in. The staff were interacted with were all very kind, and the food was pretty good. They have an HBO package which was a pleasant surprise, and during the day the mountain looks great. Great heated pools make a big difference.
