Nice place but very average food. Certainly won't be rushing back.
Went for a wedding, lovely time, lively food and reasonably priced drinks.
Really lovely stay here for a birthday treat. We had a deal with breakfast and a brewery tour, both of which were fab. We also ate in the stables bar for dinner which was amazing! We had a premier room with the jacuzzi bath, which I think is well worth it. Overall a really lovely place with friendly staff, and we would definitely return.
Wonderful two days spent here. fantastic hotel and most friendliest of staff. Would return in a heartbeat.
We attended an information event for evolution football coaching the place was very Welcoming
Some great Christmas events for children this year.
Attendsd a work event and everyone seemed to do their job correctly although at times felt like they looked down on the employees at the event.
Didn't feel like the exclusive high end venue it is billed to be
A fantastic venue for any occasion always have something going on
Beamish Hall Hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff served all of the guests very quickly and were very professional. One critical point is the wedding cake should have been kept in a cooler place /room as the weather was pretty hot and due to that the cake began to lean to one side.
Great lunch with the family last week. A bit of a wait for food but it's worth it.
Lovely food very friendly staff beautiful surroundings
We have been looking for wedding venues and beamish hall just looks unreal. We will definitely be considering beamish hall for our special day.
Was here on work conference, fully paid for but appears good value for money. Excellent service and facilities. The bedding and mattress was particularly high quality (down pillows and memory foam mattress etc). Beautiful gardens and plenty of history here.
Large quiet hotel. Excellent food in Stables Bar with real ale from on-site brewery. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Beautiful building friendly staff and amazing views. Been there for the recent Xmas fayre.
Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff.the food is delicious. Would recommend 100%
Fabulous wedding celebration here. We stayed over and the breakfast was very good
A fantastic night's stay, the staff were excellent, so friendly polite and professional a real credit, the meal was superb and breakfast spot on. Really well organised to cope with ith the current situation and we felt really safe. Definitely be back.
We had a very good afternoon tea, great selection of cakes and sandwiches, the staff were very good and helpful.
Attended their bonfire night event which was brilliant. Fireworks were fantastic, along with entertainment and stalls provided. For the price it's a wonderful opportunity to even visit the building.
Another excellent meal courtesy of the Stables Restaurant. Lovely surroundings, friendly and efficient staff.
Thanks
Lovely venue and helpful staff. Mobile reception non existent although WiFi available.
Have been here many times , my wife and I really love the Afternoon Tea, a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff,
Would recommend Beamish Hall to anyone,,,
Stay after a wedding very good venue. Staff are good
Wonderful two days spent here. fantastic hotel and most friendliest of staff. Would return in a heartbeat.
Brewery tour not worth it lasted if lucky 10 minutes tour given by barmaid, real ale great staff friendly dinner first night really good second night not so great asked for the cheese board that we had the night before only to be told that they didn't have any biscuits ,
Went with my other half for Valentine's day. Food was nice but a little pricey, have been before and food was good. Lovely place to check out too.
We held our wedding reception here, and it was beautiful! So many of our guests commented how magical the winter gardens looked! All the rooms looked fantastic and the staff were very accommodating. I'm just a little sad I missed the full hog roast, though I blame my new wife.
Superb evening with fabulous 24 piece swing band, City Swing, plus great vocalist.
Visited Beamish Hall, for the first time, for a Christmas Fair. It was buzzing! Lots of interesting stalls selling local festive products were arranged throughout the grand old building. A marquee housed stalls offering delicious local produce. (Sadly it was uncomfortably busy and the rivers of people made it difficult to stop and look at anything).
Outside the trees and shrubs in their autumn glory looked stunning in the crisp November sunshine.
Excellent room, good food in the stables restaurant, peaceful setting in well cared for grounds.
Great location. Staff were all extremely friendly. The whole stay was a pleasure. The only gripe was the shower door came off the runner more than likely user error.
Visited firework display so only outdoors, display was amazing
Good food very adverage service. Waitresses love to stand together and talk when they should be working and serving. Need a kick up the back side.. food ok though and a shame it's let's down by kids hanging about.
Our third visit and we will return again. In a rural setting but with the Beamish Open air museum within walking distance. Everything you might wish for in one of the better hotels. Food was well above average and the hotel has its own brewery. Staff were friendly and helpful. A well run country retreat.
Attended a business meeting, meeting room was nice and food was amazing
Lovely venue for a porsche meet and a great breakfast to
We go every year for a couple of nights, so relaxing, nice little walks and of course beamish itself just up the bank.
Had a lovely meal at the stables on arriving and the room was lovely. Breakfast on both mornings was superb with good service.
The room was lovely. Was disappointed with the breakfast, blackpudding was grilled to a crisp and the poached eggs were solid. The restaurant/bar was very good. Excellent food.
Love The Stables! Really friendly staff and gold service. Indoor and outdoor seating for food and drinks
Disappointing afternoon tea not to their usual standard.
We left most of the cakes they were awful.
Visited for lunch and drinks. Staff polite and knolageble of beer and food. Excellent service and great food. Plenty of car parking space.
The bearish hall hotel is first class. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. I had a three course meal from the stables restaurant which was first class. The food was out of this world. Very good variety to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel. I'm definitely returning sometime very soon.
Brilliant hotel with lovely restaurant and plenty to keep the kids entertained at the nearby beamish wild
Nice freindly staff nice comfortable rooms can recomend the stables bar for a good selection of real ales only stayed overnight so i ony had breakfast ( full english ) slight criticism of the wait.maybe it would be an idea to give guests a pot of coffee instead of try to catch their attention all the time but would go back again maybe in the summer to fully explore every thing that beamish has to offer
Our club meets here every month. Great service, lovely food, friendly staff
Friendly service, lovely stay, will definitely come back
Beamish Hall is the perfect location, beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces and great staff.
Beautiful place to stay , staff lovely & helpful & friendly. Yummy food both at breakfast & in Stable Bar & Restaurant. Would love to visit again.
Had a great time at their xmas murder mystery night for our staff party. Highly recommended
Outstanding venue local to us in Durham & with great staff
We went for the Beamish Wild experience and it was fantastic!
Fantastic rooms, good food in the adjoining micro-brewery, beautiful walks near-by and the Beamish Museum a stone's throw away.
Fantastic grand hotel, lobby and grounds but the room was a little dated. Clean and tidy but needs a little updating. Breakfast was brilliant.
Vintage hotel with a historical look. Rooms are very spacious and pretty nicely maintained. The check in and checkout process is also very smooth.
The Stables bar/restaurant nearby serves good food and drinks (Good vegetarian options) and can deliver to your room also if you are Hotel guest
Everyone at the hotel was so pleasant and helpful and helped make my daughter's wedding brilliant would stay here again
My room was disgusting with an inch layer of limescale coming off the shower head, brown marks & cracks all over the bath tub. Filthy room with dust & damp so strong you could smell & feel it when you breathed! Wouldn't stop there again for free! Which is a shame for such a historic place in a lovely setting!
Bed was very small. So small that I had to sleep diagonally and I'm 5'10. Full English Breakfast was overcooked.
A warm and friendly atmosphere food was excellent would recommend it
This is an awesome venue! Can t wait to perform close up Magic here once again!
