Dear staff at Beach ford (in Virginia Beach) i wan...

Dear staff at Beach ford (in Virginia Beach) i wanted to personally take my time to say thank you for your advice you gave me 10 months ago.
Here is what happened:: back in August of 2015 I purchased a car and had some credit issues. I spoke with and worked with Chris Bryant, Sean P, Craig Hughes & Mike Z about helping me get into a car because i really wanted to fix my credit and have my own car again. Well i tried once and got denied. So about two weeks later, i tried again and got approved.) the advice that i got the first time, from Chris Bryant, he told me "well you know meisha you got some credit issues girl, there not so bad but you gotta pay your bills girl, ya know. If you have a credit card you owe them every month pay them, pay off your debt and catch up on your bills and you will get there. but you gotta pay your bills if you want us to help you.Save some money down and then come back." it made me sad but it gave me hope that i can do it because i truly believed he believed in me. The next advice i got was from Craig Hughes, he told me "You know Meisha ill do whatever to help you because your a nice girl and i know you are trying hard to get back on your feet and all. I got your back just be patient." (Craig is a pure sweetheart, old but funny and overall good person, craig was my mentor and friend at beach ford and honestly helped me with a lot there.) The third advice i got,from Mike Z (GM) and Sean P (the finance manager at the time) So first off Mike Z is mad cool, he can come off as very serious at first but he does smile, is is somewhat laid back but takes his job seriously. So mike got the deal about a few days later or something and i was very worried by this point as to if i could even do anything. He said in so little words "Okay, ill see what i can do." then he look at me and i said "ok, thank you so much!" Then Sean's advice was "why do you want to have such an expensive car, you are trying to get on your feet. you can't do that car, you need a cheaper car, but it will still be a nice car. you have to crawl before you walk." Sean looked at my deal folder and then credit and said "whew girl what have you been doing?! you do have some work to do but you have been paying on time on the escape for over 9months so maybe we can do something with that. and you have a lot of money down, I'm surprised they said no. Give me sometime and ill make it happen just go sell some cars and you will have a car by the end of the night. "
(the escape was a car i had from a friend that wasn't in my name)
(chris bryant had told me earlier that week that maybe if i look at a ford focus base model i may be able to get a car.)
So we found the car i could get that i would soon grow to love. It was a 2015 ford focus. My score at the time was very LOW, but i say by gods blessing and everyones faith and my persistence i was able to get a car that had almost everything i wanted and more and i really loved it!

Fast forwarding to today,.....My score in August of 2015 was a 497 and no I'm not ashamed of it today, here is why. As of today (April 2016) my Scores are roughly 39 points from a 620 credit score.Now i know the people who have the 700+ scores are probably laughing at my story but my story is to tell those that have credit issues,don't be scared to get a car from a big dealership,its actually better than the side dealers. So to be honest, yes you do need good credit but you also need faith, common sense, persistence and be realistic.
I paid off a few credits, got caught up on a couple bills, moved in with my mom to save money, and i even got me a used car that i am paying on and its helping my credit scores (my focus got totaled).
So my point is, have faith, be realistic about what you can get and be persistent.

Took my ST in for an issue with popping while turn...

Took my ST in for an issue with popping while turning the wheel. They inspected the car and told me the issue ( I can't remember exactly) and that they could fix it under warranty however they needed to order the parts. They released my car to me and told me they would go ahead and replace the entire assembly so there is no worry about damage while I drive and wait for the parts to come in. I was also told they would call me when the parts arrive and that it should be within 5 business days. They never called. 2 weeks later I called them to find out my part still wasn't there. 2 weeks after THAT I called to ask what the issue was. Come to find out the service rep that was helping me no longer worked there and that they basically forgot about me. I asked if I could bring my car in that day and they said that I'd have to wait ANOTHER week due to the mechanic being on vacation! I finally dropped the car off and was told it should be done 2 days later and that my warranty would cover my rental till then however if it took longer I would have to pay 30 something dollars a day. 2 days later my car isn't ready because they had to order yet again another part! 2 days after that I picked up my car, i was not charged the extra days on the rental thankfully however after driving only 30 minutes I find out the entire reason I took it in in the first place was not fixed. I still have a popping noise. 5 weeks in total dealing with them has destroyed my confidence in their service team.

Bought several vehicles over the last 25 years with scheduled maintenance being performed. After our 20,000 service today, I checked to see if service was performed by their check off sheet and noticed it wasn't done nor told "hey you might want to do that." When I asked why it wasn't checked or recommended, I was told by the service manager things happen/it might be an oversight. Well, when you check off that it was checked, IT SHOULD BE PROPERLY CHECKED. No concern or apology for loyal customer! Well looks like my next purchase for a F250/350, I'll be going somewhere else. Good business practices!!! WOW!!

Brought my car in for a saftey recall. Easy to do...

Brought my car in for a saftey recall. Easy to do however my dash was all scratched when I got it back, whomever worked on my car took items out from the glove compartment (which needed to be done to fix the problem ) and left my items on the floor of my car. Not to pleased. Did go back to talk to the manager about the scratches and was told to bring the car back to have fixed. This would take a day. I dont have time to have my car held up for a day and a loaner is not an option for their mess up.

If you are in need of a quick diagnostic or service this is the last place to go.It took 4(!) advisors almost 5 minutes to just acknowledge me?!The "asst.manager" I happened to talk to kept asking person next to her for answers every time I had a question and that person kept answering without looking me in the eye like I wasn't there?Being in customer service business that is the last thing you want to do.How are you going to "advise" of service if you are acting like that.Everything was being done robotically without listening to what was being said.Person was quick to say that diagnostic was $118 and if I could leave the car I could get a rental-for a fee of course.After I repeated for a third time that it was a new lease vehicle same individual,assisting assistant manager stated "well we don't know if there are any outside influences to the engine,that's why you have to pay for diagnostic!".
So seeing that this was a show and not serious dealership and that they were giving me the "old fashion" scare tactics,I took my keys and drove to nearest Auto Zone were they read the code in under a minute confirming my suspicions of the problem (I have mechanical background).I have scheduled service elsewhere where I am sure it will be handled correctly!

Last week I brought my 2017 Mustang GT PP in for an oil change. Stephanie(pink hair)was my Service Advisor and was truly great. During the routine inspection, the service tech noticed a damaged wheel bearing and Stephanie notified me (while I was waiting on oil change) and they replaced that too(warrantied) quickly while I was waiting. I did not buy my car from them but I can attest to their service department's care and follow through. That being said, if you are even considering buying a car from Beach Ford, know the value of customer service is hard to find and that it will be taken care of by them as well.

I had an unfortunate situation that resulted in needing a new vehicle. Since I had plenty of time I got an idea of how much I wanted to spend on a new truck after stopping into every Ford dealer in Hampton Roads.
I narrowed it down to 2 dealers after a week of looking around, Cavilier ford turned out to be the worst attempt at purchasing a truck, don't go there.
These guys will take care of you in a relaxed environment. I have received several calls since the purchase form the salesman to see if I needed anything and ask how the truck was treating me.
If you need a new Ford in the 757 area this is the place to go.

I have been to quite a few dealerships before and can honestly say this was by far the best experience. James is a very honest and caring person. He took the time to address all my questions and if he did not know the answer, instead of making up what he thought would sound good, he actually took the time to find the right answer. He was very patient with me and took time to address every concern.

Before this experience, I admit I was one who thought dealerships like to get over on people. However, during general conversation, James explained how Beach Ford genuinely appreciates their customers. I can't speak about all dealerships, but with Beach Ford, He definitely changed my perspective and my experience with Beach Ford validates it.

After my Husband and I spoke briefly about my previous vehicle choices, Josh Urey knew exactly what I needed & showed me to a vehicle I absolutely love! He was very knowledgeable about all the features and details of my new Ford Escape (and believe me we asked quite a bit!). The entire process went very smoothly and he was not at all pushy as in my previous experiences when buying a vehicle.

Sales staff (Blaine Gordon) was honest and accurate. Helped me make the best decision for me as a customer, there was no need to haggle prices as I was offered a fair price with good rebates. I can t reccomend him enough, or Beach Ford more highly. Blaine helped me decide between the two trucks I was stuck between because one was found to have had an aftermarket tuner which voided the power train warranty.

If it wasn't for us asking for the service manager (walker) our car would still be there with guess work being done to figure out what was the cause of the problem. 3500.00 we spent on work that didn't have to be done. You know my number if you want to know specific details.

Three other dealers looked over my Chrysler 300c after replacing most of the front end components including front end shocks and it still
had annoying clunking noises at low speeds! Gary Miller test drove my car and stated he had 13 years of experience servicing Chrysler cars! He said bring it back on Thursday and leave my car and he would fix it! I dropped my car off on Thursday and he called me around 4pm and said my car was fixed! He replaced a couple sway bars under warranty that were bad...even tighten up other parts! Gary knew what he's doing ...I drive the car on a recent trip and its like new...no annoying noise after 6months of run arounds from other dealers and broken promises! This is a story hard to believe taking a Chrysler car to a Ford dealer but Beach Ford is at the top of my list of great dealers! Gary Miller made it clear when he stated my car is repaired and ready to be picked up! Angela was the service agent that directed me to Gary! Marvin Garrett

It took a little while for the oil change and inspection, however it was worth it. Everyone there was so kind and helpful. There is a very nice sitting room with a cafe and large screen tv to wait in while work is being done on your vehicle. They also provide guest wifi. The time passed very quickly. Very happy with the whole experience.

After hearing that Beach Ford was looking for trades and offering 0% APR, I figured I would go find the catch I m this too-good-to-be- true advertisement. Adam Keating came in on his noble steed (probably an F-150 or something), and became a knight in shining armor. I was so convinced that it wasn t real, that I didn t even bring my car in to have it appraised. Adam and his team worked their magic and got me to ride 30 minutes each way to get my car and make the trade. I drove off the lot in a new car with a lower payment and no interest. It s wild, but it s true. Thank you Adam and Beach Ford for helping me get into a better vehicle and loan!

I've called the service center twice inquiring about parts for my F-150. Once to replace my rack and pinion, and the other about my defective rear defroster and the potential hazard that it causes with this particular model (the back window will shatter). Both times, the representative has asked me to leave a message and that one of their specialists will give me a call back. I've never heard back either time. Having an F-150 it would be nice to have a reliable Ford dealership to work with. At least for me, this is not that dealership.

I recently bought a Fiat 500 from Mr. Sean Murray at Beach Ford. He was by far the most courteous and likeable young man I've ever had the pleasure of buying a car from. He made the process very easy, something that in my experience is hard to come by. He had a little plaque on his desk naming him "Employee Of The Month". I now see why! I have a Ford fleet vehicle so I take it to Beach Ford for inspections, etc. I brought my vehicle in for an inspection and a recall on the transmission. After a few hours, the sales person called me to tell me my front alignment was off and asked if I wanted them to fix it. I informed her that it was a fleet vehicle and she would have to get the alignment approved by the fleet company. Miraculously, after she learned she would not get any money out of me, the alignment was "fine and didn't need to be fixed". Funny how they assume I will just pay for unnecessary repairs just because I am a female. Thank God my personal vehicle is not a Ford.

The service manager spoke to me with complete disrespect and attitude because I'm a woman. There is no way he would have spoken to me like that if I was a man....If you're a woman then you know what I'm talking about. I have just never had someone speak to me like I mattered so little. I never write reviews but I'm writing this one so other women can read this and think twice about having their car serviced at Beach Ford. In 2019, you would think ,even a man in the car business, would know better. Here are just a few details: I told him I can drop my car off at 8am to be serviced but I have to pick it up by 4 because I work full time and I have to pick my babies up from daycare after work....he said "huh, it won't be done by then so you'll just have to figure it out" he said that several times "just figure it out" "figure it out!!" raised his voice with a scoff and super rude attitude. The entire conversation from hello that was his tone. I said "well can't I just pick it up at 4 and if there is a part to be ordered or something I can bring it back the next morning. " He said "yea". Well that is what I was trying to figure out service manager. I had my car diagnosed the day before by NTP tire and service for free (so take it there if you need diagnostics and don't have a hybrid) and they said my right front caliber was leaking break fluid but they can't work on hybrids so they told me to take it to Ford dealer. So I asked the service manager if they charge for bringing it in and he said "YES MAM ABSOLUTELY...$116!" ... so condescending and snide..and so unnecessary! I wasn't being rude I was just asking reasonable questions. It is reasonable to ask why I'm being charged $116 just to drop it off.. thats before they even fix anything. I just need my break fluid leak fixed and a little common decency and respect. I didn't get either from Beach Ford.

BUYER BEWARE!! Beach ford is not using geniune ford parts in their repairs. They are using subpar parts and passing it off as geniune Ford parts and quality service. Their managers exact words were "junk parts" when refering to the repair they just did 2 days ago!

This place (as well as Lynnhaven Lincoln Mercury) provide horrible customer service and will take any chance to gouge our pockets. My misfortunes with these 2 started at Lynnhaven. Customer service never gave a straight answer on anything, and if they do they have no problems losing their memory if they outright lied to you the first time. Customer service reps for Lynnhaven and Beachford are pretty much the same ( or at least the lynnhaven people all seem to have part time jobs at beach. At either place the Service reps never seem to have a clue whats going on, they are very quick to have you waiting if you seem to have any question (not waiting while they find an answer but waiting while they sit around for an hour hoping you forgot what you asked in the first place because for some reason keep people informed about their vehicle has 0 priority even when related to wasteful office chit chat. I initially when to Lynnhaven to fix factory recalled igntion coils but of course after ever service I Would have to take it back for the same problem, then later they would say its other problems: struts, brakes, catalytic converter, O2 sensor, and a couple other items which I had done because I trusted these people to give me the correct diagnosis to fix my car. To this day I still have the same problems I had when I first came in so I tried beach. There the customer service was even worst, the wait times are absurd and if the don't get a chance to look at your vehicle ( even though you have a 9am appointment) they will just lie and say they are looking hard a the problem but need more time to figure it out. ( car was never moved I spend most of my time watching the inside of the body shop and check the outside lot for my car which was always there.) of these places are as shotted as they get so beware.

My family and i had a great experience at Beach Ford today thanks to Sean Murray. He was great from the start. He showed us all of the vehicles we wanted to see, explained everything in detail, made us feel comfortable, was very professional and was able to get a deal worked out for us. Overall he provided us with phenomenal customer service. I ended leaving with a 2018 Ford Fiesta! I would definitely recommend asking for Sean if you want a great experience.

Out of the many dealerships I visited to purchase a new car, beach ford is by far the best. They have a great team to work with your needs and answer any and all questions you may have. There was no pressure to buy or sale sharks looming around to take a bit out of you and send you away. Every person their was friendly, kind, and up most professional in the car buy experience. I recommend them to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. Beach ford holds fords vauls deep in them and they will make sure to get anyone with in the company and customers to go further.

I told him what i was looking for and he gave me it. He didn't try to sell me something i didn't want. Me and my family are greatful for a sales rep who listens to customers.

Had a great experience a week ago with Sean Murray at Beach Ford in Va Beach! I found the car I was looking for and received great support from Sean in what is usually a very painful process! Sean did such a great job, I wouldn't think twice to refer my friends to him for their car needs.

George Y - Bought a 2018 Ford Escape Titanium from Beach Ford on July 1, 2018. Salesperson Emily Scott was exceptional. She provided great knowledge to all our questions and was not "pushy" or telling us you have to purchase this vehicle now (which eventually we did). This vehicle was for my wife and Emily connected with her greatly. My wife adores this car. My wife test drive 2 vehicles and Emily explained in detail each vehicle to her. Superb job Emily & Beach Ford. Well done.

The worst ever!!! I wouldn't even give it one star!! Oil change, wiper blades changed, clock diagnosed, slow leak in a tire pluged and inspection!! With a 1 o'clock app! I finely got out at 7:15pm. I will never go back! This was my second bad experience with them. First time after an oil change 2 weeks later another dealer said I was a quart low, and they never reset the oil indicator. Which by the way they didn't reset it this time either after having the car 6hrs.

Terrible service. The service department assured me "if you come in right now, we can have someone look at your car." I was just trying to get the hood looked at as it will not open. Once I arrived the service employees and even the service manager proceeded to say how they "could not look at my vehicle, and that they don't know why someone would tell me that." Very poor experience. I will not return to this location for any vehicle needs, and I certainly do not recommend it.

He made us feel at home and followed up with us when he told us he would. He addressed all of our issues with the truck and had them corrected. What a dishonest dealership. Very disappointing. Purchased a vehicle from them and paid a certain price based on the value of the vehicle. They presented me with a Carfax and a Kelley blue book value listing all the features on the vehicle. The features listed add value to the vehicle, assuming they work, and so I agreed to a certain price. Five minutes after leaving the dealership and spending hours on paperwork I find out that the sunroof does not work. I go back to the dealership and they disclose that they were aware of this problem and that they were not going to fix it. My issue is that they presented Paperwork to me listing that feature as a working feature that added value to the vehicle knowing that that was not true. This was a 2013 Ford F1 50 FX4. Be aware, this is a 1300 dollar repair alone!

My friend and I visited Beach Ford to look for a new truck. He wanted to trade-in his current one for a Raptor and I was interested in looking to get one soon down the road. Teddy at the sales department is the best I've worked with when it comes to buying a car.. he was very passionate about what we were looking for and wanted to do whatever it took. Teddy made the process easy/quick and worked with us till the end even when things got a bit stressful. Definitely will be working with him soon.

Emily Scott is by far the best person to ever sell a vehicle. She is not pushy, she explains all the options, and her strong and yet mild manner turned the car buying experience into a wonderful pleasure. Emily was referred to us by numerous people, but we we re skeptical at best. Our experience of purchasing our first truck at Beach Ford has made us customer for life. Can't say enough about Beach Ford service dept. Things don't always go perfect in business or in life. The true measure of a company is how they handle things when every thing doesn't go perfect. Beach Ford was very busy and my oil was replaced with synthetic blend instead of full synthetic. My oil change was FREE and so was my visit to replace the oil with the Full synthetic.

I don't know what to say. Today's visit was enlightening. My vehicle was in for a recall, the service writer dropped the ball, the part was never ordered. After waiting more than a week today I stopped in only to find I was not even in the system. Pamela did a great job collecting all the information needed, because the part is available. Tomorrow I hope to hear from the first service writer.

I just recently purchased a 2014 Ford Focus from Beach Ford and that is the second one I purchased from them. My first one was in 2002 and I had a great sales experience both times and the 2002 Ford Focus was NEVER in the shop unless it was for an oil change or regular maintenance. I seem to remember that I took it in for a regular oil change and mentioned I had scratched my door with my key, a week later I got a little paint repair kit at no charge sent to me by Ford and it worked perfect! I did not even ask them to do that. That car was paid off and a year after it was paid off I had an accident on the ice and totalled it. I went to another dealership (not Ford) and bought a car in a hurry, not thinking, I had multiple problems and I had the feeling that the dealership there (not Ford) was a little shady, there were many problems with the car that I found out later. This was the car I traded in and I cannot believe the price they gave me for it. I am extremely happy with my new car and would like to mention NEIL WILLIAMS as the sales associate that sold me the car. He is VERY professional and worked with me a lot, spent a lot of time with me deciding what car to buy and also I needed to keep my payment reasonable since I am in school and paying tuition again. I needed a reliable car because of work and school so he took a lot of time to work this out for me. He never wanted to sell me a car over my budget or push me into anything I did not feel comfortable with. It was late and raining the night I purchased the car and he was practically the last one there and both of us were exhausted but he still took the time to explain some last minute details about the car before I drove off. All the staff at Beach Ford were very friendly as they were in 2002 so it just goes to show that they are dependable and I will be buying my cars there forever. I appreciate a place I can trust. My co-worker is also a fan of Beach Ford and purchase her son's car there.

I had an appt with Sean Murray to purchase a new car. I wanted a new f-150 but was just out of my price range. So Sean suggested we look at the Escapes. So we looked at an SEL trim level which was fully loaded minus remote start and that also was slightly out of range so had to settle with an SE trim level which I cant complain because I love it. Sean was very professional and and answered any and all questions that me and my fiance had. Leon my finance manager was very excited to work with us and was also very professional as well. Overall we will be buying more cars and trucks in the future from Sean
