DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership. I was unfortunate enough to purchase a vehicle from Beach Ford last year, and it has been a constant battle to deal with them. Since my purchase last year, I have had two warrantied parts on my vehicle fail (back-up camera and window motor). Dealing with the service department to rectify the issues has been a horrendous experience for me and my family. The negative details of each service encounter are too numerous to detail here, but please trust that Beach Ford has been the single worst company that I have ever done business with. Having to drop-off your new family vehicle and leave it over night three separate times only to get it back and find that they did not fix the back-up camera is a rather infuriating experience. I am now in the middle of the same experience with trying to fix the window motor, and it has become evident that my previous experience was not an isolated incident, but instead represents the standard operating procedure for a company which has no value for their customer once the vehicle has been purchased. Don't let the large building and smiling salesmen fool you. Once your money leaves your pocket and goes into theirs, you see a totally different side of the business. There are other, better, dealers in the Virginia Beach area.

Very unprofessional and discriminatory place. Not enough diversity Every person in the service center is white and I felt like a spectacul while trying to get my car serviced. Also, my representative name Angela made my time here very difficult by not listening to my concerns treating me like a child by saying I'm arguing with her. I felt like I had a right to explain what I wanted to be done to my car. She was very rude and talked over me on more than one occasion. I would give this place no stars because of her. I believe I would have been treated better if I was White.

I had such a great experience buying a car today at Beach Ford! This was my first time buying my own car so there was a lot of research to be done. From day one Tanner was great! He was not pushy in the slightest and was very understanding and did everything he could to make sure I was getting the exact car I had imagined for such an amazing deal! I drove 2.5 hours from Richmond to purchase from them. Everyone in the dealership was also overly friendly and very helpful all around! Very pleased with my purchase today, and the customer service from all of Beach Ford, but especially Tanner! Thanks for such a pain free and exciting first adult purchase guys!!! :)

Told my friend to take his Ford Fusion up there to get the ABS module and brake system bled which you can do with a scanner and it takes about ten minutes. They quoted him 500 dollars to bleed his brakes and program the Module. Sorry guys that you didn t get the opportunity to do the work yourselves but that s not reason to screw someone. I was told it s 3 hours of labor to do the job as well and they needed to make sure everything is tight. Don t take your car to the Beach Ford service department. BEWARE

I am happy with the purchase in general. I felt it was prudent to take the car for a drive on the highway and also drive it at night. That's when I saw I had an issue with the drivers side
(Rear) signal light. It has a blown bulb. There is water and glass inside the tail light lens. Also the radio was defective cause the CD player doesn't work. I immediately went back to the dealer and I was told to go to the junk yard to find these items or look on eBay. I guess the pleasantries and the free coffee were no longer available once I paid for the vehicle. Is it punishment for not financing with them, and using another lender?

As a priority customer, I had my doubts.. but Beach Ford has a far better inventory and I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of trucks they had access too. I met Manuel Alvarez and he was a true professional. Friendly, knowledgeable, understanding of budget and most importantly honest and fun to work with. (Especially love the videos he does when you buy.) He was prompt about calling me back and made the typical 'car buying experience' ancient history.

I would highly recommend him to friends and family, he and his team made the process simple and made me a very happy Beach Ford customer. Thanks Manuel, love my new truck and payment!

They fixed my alignment system and my exterior/interior dock handles. While I do give them a 5 for service, their method of informing of replacing things, they wait till afterward to tell you instead of asking if you want it done. So they ask for forgiveness instead of permission and you pay for it.
Easy fix is to be very clear and notify them of the system of method you want.

I come in here a lot for my car services. We always get great help. Today, I was serviced by Angela. She was really friendly and remembered why I was there from phone convo.

Most of the tome I spent in the waiting area. One of my favorite parts are the different paint pieces all around. I also tried the cafe for the first time. I was starving and wouldn't be able to eat for a few more hours. I was greeted by Sharece I didn't know what to get and she suggested a great menu item, Blazin' Cajun. She was so nice and provided great customer service. When she brought it out, I was excited. It was so great.

The only reason why there is a 4 star rating because of wait. I was told one thing and the wait was way longer than expected.

I bought my car at Beach Ford six months ago. I had three minor problems with it. My husband always took care of our cars, but he is no longer here. I was ready to pay the diagnostic fee and have the problems fixed. Lucas rode with me and assured me I really didn t have a mechanical problem. Sara worked with me and was friendly and caring. My tires were checked and my car was vacuumed before I got it back. Because they didn t need to mechanically work on my car there was no charge. Everyone was so professional and really cared about me. I will be a Beach Ford customer forever.!!

Customer service is a joke, someone is always in a meeting and you get completely ignored. One truck in for service has had parts 'repeatedly' replaced saying it was a faulty part purchased from them, but you still get to hand them some labor money though and still have your original problem in addition to some new ones, and a cracked dash board, truck ransacked because they left it unlocked and someone helped themselves to my property, never even got a simple apology or anything for that one. A couple months later after getting it back after bringing it back a total of 3 times, two times with less than 5 miles on it, 1 time within a couple hundred feet (no joke) STILL having the same [original problems] and now (In my opinion along with others) due to the lack of proper oil flow, my turbo is now shot. Then I vring the truck to them to simply tell them what's wrong and I can't get the guy I've been dealing with because he 'the service manager' is in a meeting, the reason the service manager is the person I'm dealing with is because a young and in my opinion, untrained service writer named 'jenae' accused me of lying about paying for ANOTHER diagnostic which clearly had to be in their computer system because I had to leave work and drive all the way back to the dealer after having the truck towed with 3.2 miles on it after their repair to get the paid invoice laying right on the passenger seat to prove it. Now lets get to the other truck of mine they've had for over 3 weeks that I recieved a call about yesterday saying it would be ready today. Brought it to them because of bucking and sputtering, they quoted me a ridiculous price for a transmission, got the transmission rebuilt somewhere else for much cheaper, low and behold I still have the same problem a few thousand dollars later, so after they finished truck number one and said it was finally finished I dropped truck number two off and they told me they could find anything wrong with it, THE CODES WERE SHOWING UP ON MY 'SPRINT DRIVE' through my cell phone company for christ sake but the dealer couldn't find it! I told them to change the spark plugs AND GUESSSSSS what, it fixed the problem. So I figured I could pick up truck number 2 today and drop number 1 off and I don't know have something to drive so I could get to work and pay for all the repairs. When I get to beach ford, the service guy is 'in a meeting with upper management ' , that was about 3 hours ago and still haven't heard a thing and still can't work today because I'm less my vehicles because truck number 2 isn't finished like I was told it would be during yesterday's phone call. In my observation waiting in their showroom with a bunch of overpriced junk and about 30 plus salespeople wandering around, maybe they should look out the meeting room window in the little box their in and 'maybe look outside the box'. Must be some real important meeting, maybe they're trying to figure how they could ride the coat tails of the upcoming 'something in the water festival'. I guess ole Tom Barton didn't realize running dad's company would require attention, must be why they don't have a customer service number or his contact info. I will DEFINITELY provide an update on this one if I ever hear back, today's Friday April-19th, 2019, figured I'd put that on there because this all started prior to Christmas 2018. Way to go Tommy boy. Kind of reminds a bit of the actual movie 'Tommy boy' kinda funny, but oh so true. Tim Maxwell virginia Beach.

Beware of the overly nice service department assistant manager Mallory.

Originally, I was quoted $1,100 and denied their services. She ensured a discount would be provided and I wouldn t be able to find a better deal elsewhere.

After doing some research, service advisors / managers receive commission and are as crooked as you neighborhood salesman.

I left Beach Ford spending $1,700 with the original issue I brought the vehicle in for (pulling to the right). Only work my vehicle required was brakes and rotors.

Lastly, I took my vehicle back to repair the pulling to the right. Their response was, it will be an additional $657. I replied no thank you and then the service advisor counter offered for $500 which raised a major red flag.

He listened to what I was looking for and he delivered and exceeded my expectations! This visit is like all my previous visits... Everything went well. Beach Ford has a great layout. One that has customer service in mind. Drive your vehicle in and the ball gets rolling. This visit was a spur of the moment visit. Due to the holidays and being a tad short staffed, an appointment is a must. They were able to fit my truck with what I consider to be a short wait. The service writer did not promise me anything. He told me he would try and that was good enough for me. Every staff member I interacted with were friendly, professional and very courteous. This is every visit for me.

My father and I called this dealership at 6:50 (it's on my call log) asking if a vehicle was available. We were told that it was but that it was on another lot, and it could be brought over within 20 minutes. We told the woman we were in Chesapeake already on the highway and would be there shortly. We arrived and were told that the secondary lot closed at 7. It would have been nice if they'd called us back, but at the time I figured they couldn't have had my phone number. Now the day after, I receive a call asking if I'd like to come in to see the vehicle - because apparently contacting me to tell me the vehicle was unavailable and saving me the 25 minute trip last night was just too much to ask. Very unprofessional and disorganized, would recommend trying another dealer unless you don't mind being treated like some random potential sale instead of a person.

I bought a used Honda from here last May that was still under warranty. There were two people buying cars at the time, the process took four hours. After the sale was made they brought me my DMV registration. They registered me to the completely wrong zip code. Fixing that took another hour. This has caused a lot of tax issues for me because two DMVs have wrong information that every time I try to fix does not get fixed properly. As soon as I got off the lot and home I could tell something wasn't right. I called Beach Ford to express my concern, my sales person told me to take it to a Honda dealership since "it's their car." No Honda dealership has been able to fix the issue. I am stuck with it a year later and I am incredibly upset as this was the newest car I have bought and I was excited to have something that works. Beach Ford has created an incredible headache for me concerning my vehicle. I do not suggest buying a car from here or using their services.

After getting the run a round at Priorty Ford, we stopped by Beach Ford. Unlike Priority, when we walked in the door we were greeted with a smile and asked if we wanted anything to drink. Ok, this was a start in the right direction. A salesman by the name of Ronald Bowks, greeted us and we explained that what type of truck we were looking for. Ron immediately found several trucks for us to look at. Once we decided on the truck, the numbers were run and my son was approved by Ford Credit for 4.9 percent with zero down. This was much better that the 7.9 percent that priority quoted us for the same year model and equipment on the truck. Because we were late getting there and it Christmas you would think that the staff would have been in a hurry to go however they were not. In fact, we never felt rushed,or anything but welcome and friendly faces the entire time. I am not from here but I can tell you that if you are looking for a fair and good deal Beach Ford should be at the top of your list to visit.

My husband was there for service, we wanted to see a used Expedition and were told someone would be out on the lot to meet with us, after 15 minutes they never showed up which is unfortunate considering it was two hours before closing and they were hardly busy. Beautiful dealership though, and they have a cafe. Will probably take our truck somewhere else for service moving forward though.
