I had Ms. Emily Scott as my sales person and she was professional, comical, and understanding. She got me a great deal on a certified pre owned and guided me through the entire process. I went in to look at a truck today, in my price range and was told the bank wouldn t finance it because of the mileage. So they found another one for me to look at and they assured me that the manager could come down on the price. Well he went to see the manager and came back with an offer and did not come down on the base price at all which was $3000 over my max I wanted to spend, so he said he would go back to the manager and see what he could do for me. After 30 minimum of sitting at his desk, no one checking on me, no updates I got up and left. Then even after I left I figured maybe I d get a phone call to see if I was still in the building or still interested in the vehicle. Nope nothing at all from them. Horrible customer service. I will not return. RK Chevrolet is right next door and they were much more helpful.

We have been Beach Ford customers for a couple of years now since we purchased a Ford Escape with their service plans. We have always had mediocre service but I would say the business is constantly busy so I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Our last appointment however was the final straw and I would not recommend their services to our friends if asked. We have always booked an appointment to work around our schedules. When trying to book our last appointment, understandingly, their system was down therefore I had to call back to book it for the following week. I called that morning to confirm the time as we never received an email like previous times, but I was assured of the time and promptly came in. Our Tech was Pam who greeted me nicely and confirmed the work getting done which was a simple oil change, tire rotation and wiper change. I asked to have the wiper fluid topped off (we've had previous issues with that) and was assured that wouldn't be a problem. Before she was finished with me, she received a call, that after explained to me was her manager yelling at her for taking in walk ins when she shouldn't be. Though she told the manager she had had cancellations, the manager just wanted her to learn to say no. I shrugged it off as she needed to vent but I felt it was a bit rude of her to tell a customer something like that. For once the appointment was in the time quoted and services were fine until I received an email from Ford pretty much stating they cannot service their regular appointment clients if they keep getting walk ins and that it would be best to start making appointments for services. That was the last straw for me being that we have always had an appointment and now I felt like what the Tech was venting about was directed towards me and I was highly offended and mad. Before this experience, we've had simple misunderstandings with services that have finally caught up to my frustrations; from having to come back after an appointment because they forgot twice to top off fluids, for waiting over an hour for the reinspection of one piece, to even being accused to messing up our windshield when it had to be replaced because (as they confirmed) it was not properly aligned resulting in a lot of wind noise. These are only some of the issues we have experienced. I always pushed it aside as they are busy but at this point I am out of excuses and am not looking forward to future appointments with them if we even continue the plan. I called and spoke with someone who said they would forward this to a manager but we never got a call back. Not impressed with Beach Ford who seems to have blown off paying customers.

Great service! Michael Dudley is the best salesman there! He is very knowledgeable and was a big help with me choosing a vehicle. Everyone from Michael to Crystal to Ken were beyond helpful in answering all my questions and making the process easy. I'm loving my new edge so thanks again beach Ford team!

How much things change in 8 years. I recently relocated back to Virginia Beach and made a visit to Beach Ford Service Department today 6/11/2020.
I have always had great experiences with this service dept until today.
This review is not based on the dealership but more importantly an interactive experience with the service department receptionist..

This young lady apparently doesn't realize she is the first impression a customer gets when they enter the service department. She never smiled did not even seem to care that I arrived to have my car serviced. It seemed she was annoyed by my presence.

Long story made shorter, I arrived to have an oil change performed, she informed me that I would have to wait 2 hours since I did not have an appointment and it was the lunch hour. I asked if they had an express service, she relied that they did but it would still be 2 hours (not exactly what I would describe as express service). Anyway I said I would return later in the afternoon. She told me it didn't matter when I came I would have to wait 2 hours. No sense wasting anymore of my time or hers so I immediately went to Priority Ford in Norfolk ( a shame since I live in Virginia Beach)

I arrived @ Priority about 15 mins later, walked in the door, gave them my information and it had to be some kind of MIRACLE!!!!! I was in and out in less than an hour.

So now my impression has been confirmed that things have changed at Beach Ford and I will now be a new customer with Priority. I forgot to mention they agents at Priority actually welcomed me to the dealership not only with a smile but took the time to explain and show me the new facility.

I strongly recommend Beach Ford. As soon as we walked in today, they took excellent care of my Husband and I, giving us all the different options we have according to our budget. They worked with us to find what car could fit with our needs and financial possibilities. I thank Mr. Sean Murray for his friendliness, patience and honesty. Poor service time. I made an appointment for an oil change, had to wait a week to get in. My appointment time was 330pm. As of now it is 515pm and it still isn't done. I voice to the service rep that I had to pick my son up from practice and asked if they were running behind. She responded no, they weren't behind. If Take 5 can perform an oil change in 5 mins, what is the hold up?

Well in addition to a long wait time, and them not being able to find me sitting outside the service department, they put the wrong oil in my car. SAE 5w20 instead of 5w30. Only saving grace is they were able to fit me in today to drain and put the right oil in it.
*EDIT* It was generic repair order that said 5w20. They assured me that they put the right oil in it. Pam was very helpful in explaining and making me feel at easy about it. Thank you Pam

Craig Hughes is the only person I buy Ford vehicles from and Beach Ford is the only dealership I visit when the time comes for a new vehicle. Craig s much more than a car salesman ...he is my friend. This purchase is the most recent over the past ten years through which he has confirmed his integrity and sincere interest in my automotive needs and personal welfare. He continues to affirm my thoughts that the trust and confidence I have in him and Beach Ford is well placed.

This store is for the rich people everyone in the store is in suits! I went in to buy a Ford not a Mercedes Felt like a second class citizen the entire time I was their. Left and went to cavalier the staff was inviting and more professional! In my opinion cavalier was less intimidating and a much more friendly atmosphere for me. The entire time I was at beach I felt like people were staring at me because I was in blue jeans and a t shirt! Got to cavalier and it was like welcome home to this cowgirl! FYI to the guy with the fancy suit who only wanted to pull my credit I wrote a check for a 65k limited F150!

The reason for 5-Stars is truly because of my service advisor, Ms. Becky Slater (period).

I waited (couple months) before submitting this survey because it s of my own perspective and not in anyway incentivize.

I took my car in for a normal scheduled oil change service appointment what resulted should have been a vexing situation (only driven 25K miles) being told that your car will also need a new transmission... Huhhh!

Ms. Becky quickly took the lead; she pulled my warranty documents set everything up and kept me informed with every decision she was advising and why she physically walked out to the waiting area every time AWESOME!!! After a couple of hrs passed (she observed me still working/making calls) she set me up with a rental and I was on my way.

Her knowledge of the process, expected service timeframes and especially major work like mine allowed her to make customer centric decisions which kept me feeling like she (and the dealership) was doing everything within her power to get my vehicle back to me. Ultimately, I receiving my vehicle the only remaining charge was the original reason for my visit routine oil change (and the cost of gas for the rental) WOW!!!

I sincerely thank you Ms. Becky for taking control of this situation, removing what should have been a vexing, time sucking, financially exhaustive... compounded with each passing day. YOU!...provided for my best case scenario OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER CENTRIC SERVICE...THANK YOU!!!

Initially, I traveled to Suffolk location looking for a car and it was actually at the VA beach location being sold. Tanner (salesman Va Beach lovation) provided me with more options and selection and ended up making a sale.
The settlement manager did not do anything extra to assist me. She simply checked all the necessary boxes and did not provide a true customer experience.
The interior of the car was not completely clean. There was hair left in the car that I did not catch until the day after purchase. Upon attempting to communicate with Beach Ford about the isue, I have received no response.

Edit to add: The situation was resolved and made right. I appreciate Beach Ford for resolving this issue quickly and listening to me as a customer.

Great customer service. The service center is now the glass building attached to the main showroom. The entrance is on the Virginia Beach Boulevard side. I had my car in for a state inspection and was guides to the correct customer service representative who took care of my car and informed me where there was a cafe restroom ect. It took 2 hours for my car to get inspected so maybe try for early morning if you're on a tight schedule.

Rip off BEWARE I went into Beach Ford because my air bag light would come on when it was cold outside. My vehicle was still under warranty so I made my appointment with Beach Ford. First I had to call them throughout the day to get updates because the guy wasn t keeping me informed. When I finally get the final verdict of course they tell me the air bag isn t covered by my warranty as it was my battery giving me the problems and that I needed to replace my battery which would run me about $300. Of course they put fear in me saying that if I don t get the battery replaced soon my car will cut off and its best I drive around with jumper cables. I went to Advance Auto parts to get a second option because I know dealerships can be a rip off. And when I go to Advance they told me my battery was perfectly fine and that I just had corrosion on the battery. First off if the battery was dirty why didn t Beach think to may clean it off??? I really wonder what they did for the 6 hours my car was there. Wait I know what they did thought of ways to rip a young female off. Needless to say I went across the street to Firestone and for $24.99 they cleaned my battery off and put some protective solution on my battery. Let s just say I will never even go back to Beach Ford even if they were offering a free service.

If you want to wait 5 hours for an oil change that you had an appointment for, go ahead. This place lacks customer service, professionalism, and in no case cares about you as a person. They do what it takes to get through their miserable day, and take you down with it. Unfortunately, I bought a truck here and supported this company by constantly bringing my truck in for service. On Friday I made a 9 appointment to have crossbars placed on my wife's SUV. I asked the lady at the accessory counter if I needed to drop the car off or could I just wait. I was told it would only take a couple of hours, and I could wait if I like. I showed up at 8:30 for my 9 appointment, at 11 I was told there was one more car in front of me and it would take two and a half hours for that job. I would have been more than happy to drop the car off for the day, but I tal time off from work because the employer told me it was not necessary.

I ve owned Ford vehicles my whole life. All over the country. This was my 1st experience at Beach Ford and it was not a good one. The customer service in the service department was far from what I have seen at other dealers in the area. No sense of urgency and overall just lackadaisical. That includes the manager in the service department. My car was there for a week when it should ve taken 3 days max. On top of that, something else broke on my car while it was there which I find odd. I will spare you the details, but with the 2 people we spoke with there (1 being a manager) the feeling was that they could care less and we were just an angry customer. It was rather insulting for them to have my car for that long and give that impression. And on top of that when we finally did pick it up, the manager didn t even come out to see us. Poor form in customer relations.

My car started to overheat on a very cold day in November early in the morning. I called Beach Ford because I had been there once before to get Antifreeze/Coolant. I wanted them to diagnose the problem and if the price was reasonable, to also service my vehicle.

With such an overwhelming morning, I was placed with a Representative who helped calm my nerves/fears and made sure that I would be taken care of. Her name is Janae! She was soooo awesome and attentive and kind! Her and all the staff made me feel comfortable that I was in good hands. Janae even arranged a shuttle for me to get picked up and taken to Beach Ford. Dave was really nice and kind. We had a good conversation as if we were old friends! Thank you Beach Ford Staff for the great experience!

When someone gives you a timeframe they should stick with it. They told me it'd be 2 hours and because I live 30 minutes away I decided to stay and wait. When 3 hours had gone by, I went up to someone to check on the progress. That's when she told me it'd be ANOTHER 2-3 hours. I have one day off a week from work and I was stuck in a dealership with no phone or internet service and freezing cold air conditioning. Not only that but they told me they ran out of parts and had to get them from another dealership. ALSO as I was leaving she said "while you were waiting inside, a lot of us have been taking really difficult tests". I would have rather been taking a test! She shouldn't have tried to diminish Beach Fords error. They messed up!

Received a recall notice on my vehicle. I called the service department and on my 4th try finally reached someone. She explained that I would need to bring my vehicle in for a quick inspection and they would at that time order the part and I could bring the vehicle back when the part arrived. Great! I asked if I could bring it in after 3. No, we can't schedule appointments after 3. I asked if I could bring it in on a Saturday. No, we can not schedule this for a Saturday. I said can I just bring it in since you will only need it for 5 minutes? Was told no. Are you not open until 7pm? Not very customer friendly.

I purchased a used vehicle from here last week and I had an amazing experience. I have bought quite a few cars and this was one of the best. My salesman Sean Murray was excellent. He didn't pressure me and went above and beyond when it came to my car buying experience.
