BC Wildlife Park Review

It is a small, small zoo. You can see bears up close in summer. The facility feels more like a shelter than a zoo. Not as big as the Vancouver Zoo, but worth a visit. It's great to see bears in the summer. We have dinner events for the 2019 Halloween season. I don't know in winter, but will there be event? When you hit Korea, it feels more like a children's grand park than Seoul Grand Park, but the facilities are less than the children's grand park.

Worth a visit if you're passing through, and like animals.

Great place for kids and adults too to see wildlife. Staff very friendly. Train ride well worth it

The daughter did. The animals pooped and ran away. However, it is different from the perspective of adults. The environment is closer to nature and invisible, but you are looking for more animals to hide somewhere. True bears can really look closely.

Great wildlights display and never too old to live the mini train ride.

A fun spot just outside Kamloops that is suitable for all ages. Bison, mountain goats, bears and more. Educational and its nice to know the animals were all rescued/being rehabilitated. Also the guy - turkey is sassy af.

Beautiful. Lots of fun. My kids were thrilled to watch a live performance of one of their favorite treehouse character while visiting the park.

Not a lot going on, likely due to COVID, but the animals were interesting and the park seemed to be kept clean.

Most of the animals were not seen by myself and my family.

We went to late in the season I would love to see it in the summer, I heard the light show is interesting...

Great place to take the kids or to go on a day trip. Lots of animals and great spacious exhibits. Lots to do and see. Plus it helps educatethe public on wildlife.

The viewing of the animals were really cool! But what really disappointed me the most was the food at the cafe my boyfriend and I ordered 2 poutines and spent close to $15 all for shredded cheese not cheese curds and the gravy was store More

Loved seeing all the animals, highlight for me was feeding the moose, excellent facilities, friendly staff, and all reasonably priced.

This was a really fun stop on our way to Banff from Vancouver.

This place is a lot of fun, especially for the kiddos. Many animals to see with high value education in wildlife. The kids always have a blast. The staff here is excellent. Super knowledgeable, inviting and friendly.
If you re in the area with your family I highly recommend you check this place out.
The kids will never forget it. Awesome for capturing unforgettable moments, you will not regret it.

Nice park with mostly animals that live in Canada in the wild. Careful shelter for orphaned or injured animals. A visit is definitely worth it.

The animals were amazing. The bear seemed to smell every new person from a shocking distance which was very fun to watch, can't think of any other way I'd see that. I love that the eagles were saved from their injuries and being cared for. Grounds are on abit of a slope heading up into the back of the park; wasn't sure about the waterfall/hike in the back but it's a good reason to go back one day!! Great time.

Love the light show and the train ride, always a great time! Been coming yearly for this event

Would have given 5 stars if the water park was functioning, and if the train was included in admission. $1 isn't much, but we paid $60 to get in.

It was a very hot day (32c) so we were unable to see many of the animals. It was enough to have to deal with the heat. Park would not provide any discount or refund. Would not recommend going on a hot day.

Having grown up in southern Ontario and being able to go to places like the famous Toronto and Buffalo zoos, I have experienced many times over the joy of getting to see animals up close that I would otherwise not necessarily see. That being said, I took my family to the BC wildlife park the other day and I can say honestly that was one of the best family outings we've enjoyed. First off, a group of 11 of us cost a little less that $100 and then we rented a wagon as well which was only a $5 rental fee and definitely helped and was really rather inexpensive for a trip that lasted us over 5 hours. It was a joy to see all the kids faces light up seeing animals like a mountain lion, bears, the badger, wolves, and everyone enjoyed the barn with its surly looking turkey. The walk around was great too. We measured it in steps at about 5.2 kilometers in total. The big playground in the middle of the park added to the day as the kids got a chance to play and the adults got a chance to relax for a minute. The little cafe they have isn't much to look at, but the coffee was decent and nothing was overpriced in my opinion. Sadly, the train wasn't operating yet it that didn't actually take away from the experience, I think it only would have added to it and we will go again to enjoy that. Also they are putting in a mini-putt golf course so there is that to look forward to as well. All in all I highly recommend this as a destination for all families.

I loved it. Birds of prey section is the best. Bald eagles and owls are beautiful.

Great place to stop and take the kids. The water park is excellent to keep the kids cool on a hot day. The park is clean and there are lots of things to keep kids entertained in addition to the animals.

We went too early in the year so most bears and such were hibernating but it's a really nice park and good way to spend the afternoon

Seeing the animals is only the surface of why I love this place. The conversation efforts that are routed through this establishment are incredible, and I am so proud to have this be as a part of our community. Support our local Wildlife Park! (And bring a water bottle if you're coming in the summer)

The park is great! The staff are very nice and friendly, you get to see great animals and the prices are very fair. Even the food in the small bistro is recommended. We were at the end of July at 38 degrees to visit, which was very hot but everywhere in the park there are small cooling in the form of Springleranlagen.

Awesome spot definitely recommend to anyone visiting or residing in the Kamloops area. I got every 3 months or so.

Boo in the Zoo was a lot of fun! Cool lights, lots of animals and some sword fighting to watch. Pretty great for a family visit!

Quality animals. Super fun activity for any age group. Wildlights are a must see in the winter season.

Is nice but a little small. Even though is an animal rehab center, the cages and the animal habitats need more maintenance.

Fun day spent at the BC Wildlife Park! Lots to do and it's not just for kids. We got to see a birds of prey show and even saw falcon up close and got some pics with it. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Went out for "Wildnights" loved it. I'll have to go out in the summer ,so we can see all the animals too.

So much to do and see, you can spend hours here with family members of all ages. The train ride is a sprinkle on top after walking the park and seeing the variety of wildlife.
