This place is and has always been awesome. I love that they focus on education and conservation and have mostly rehabilitated animals. A favourite for me today was holding Gandalf the burrowing owl. He was such a sweet little guy. Also, Clover the Spirit Bear was so amazing to watch playing and splashing in his pond. A great place for families and anyone interested in learning about native Canadian animals.

Long one get ready .....

Went here with family from out of town. I ve seen it but always been reluctant because zoos are bad. Animals should be free (hippy rent over). This IS NOT a zoo it s a sanctuary for animals that can t be placed back in the wild.

So we can kill them or save them.. saving is what BC wildlife park have done

The grounds, customer service, animals were all amazing! Clean, well fed looking animals.

Very affordable too! - defiantly a must do if you re visiting the boring town of Kamloops lol .

Incredible Canadian wildlife.

Didn t see the white bear :(

Or deer

Fantastic place with moral values. Am generally anti wildlife parks and zoos, but this place is mostly rescue animals so is a plus in my books. Also rehab some animals that can be released so all is good

The bears and petting zoo are especially a hit with the kids. And, we've seen Safari Jeff at the amphitheatre two years in a row, and the kids love to see the lizards and tortoises up close. But there are lots of other things to keep the kids' attention here. The train ride is definitely worth it for such a low cost, and there's also a maze, water spray park, and playground.

Friendly staff, a fun water park for the kids and adults to cool off during the hot Okanagan summers. The animal all look very well cared for and are in decent sized enclosures which also mimic their habitats. The food is typical hotdog and drink style park food, the food is a little pricey. Great place to take kids, safe and smoke free environment.

Such an amazing addition to Kamloops. Education and conservation are top of mind. Staff are fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Greasy space for a day walk, excellent for families with our without children.

Went to see the moose but she was hiding. Got a great pic of the elk though. Fun place in the summer Im sure. We visited in winter so most of the attraction was only open in the summer.

The whole family loved the wildlights. Fiance and his kids have never been to the park. Can not wait to take them again when it gets warmer. Look forward to showing them my favorite place to go. Very friendly and helpful staff

Its smaller and non profit. Summer is better for viewing animals. Winter is good around wildlights time at xmas. Limited animals but still lots for young kids. Train on site, waterpark, play area and a small creekside nature hike are all options

So fun

This is a great place to take the family! The staff are very knowledgable, kind and outgoing. In the winter, make sure to bundle up and experience "Wild Lights" for fun, entertainment and hot chocolate!

Many of the animals were hiding, this isn't like an exploitative zoo where the animals are on display, they live in environments suited to them like dens and rockwalls, but i suppose that's to be expected when its a conservation reserve and not a circus where the animals are trained to perform. Absolutely loved the black/grizzly bears, and seeing a spirit bear was the highlight of my dads day. Had to kind of trick the cougar to come out but I also loved seeing the marmot in the elk enclosure - they're one of my favourite animals!!! Barely saw the porcupine which made me sad but I hope to see her next time

My son LOVED the bees and the bee garden, and his favourite enclosures were the wolves and birds of prey. I had no idea bald eagles were that enormous. We all learned a lot and it was a great place to socially distance outdoors during these hard and unpredictable times while still having fun

Side note, we got thirsty and the cafe is very, very reasonably priced, ive never seen a cafe in an attraction so inexpensive. I spent a little over 10 dollars and got 2 water bottles, 2 large frozen lemonades and a popsicle. Compared to PNE that is a steal. in the gift shop is a center where you can buy rocks and put them in a bag. My son lost it, he was so excited and I let him pick out some gorgeous rocks in a branded bag. His fave memento of our trip, hes in love with them and im so happy he has such a nice memory for years to come. Best 10 bucks I ever spent.

I told all my colleagues about this place and they're hoping to visit the next time they're in kamloops, it was a great day. Highly recommend

visited for Christmas Wildlights Display. It was fun! They had small fires outside to warm up, an antique train ran by retired engineers that takes you round the park, maze, pets, bird exhibits and novelty shop.
