Great Place for all! Staff was great, very informative and lot of behind the scenes kind of talk. We will be back!
Rent a wagon! So worth it especially if you have kids and all their stuff.

BC Wildlife Park is one of the only "zoos" that I support. They only keep abandoned and injured animals, or animals that could not be released to the wild. The animals are well cared for and have plenty of enrichment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who loves animals, or to families as a family outing.

Very nice place to see injured (and what seemed to be very healthy) animals. About Covid, it seems that the virus is contagious inside (where you're forced to wear a mask) but that it is no longer contagious outside (although you are face to face with the same people - no mask outside). Animals and birds are pretty cute and easy to spot. Nice place to spend a couple hours.

At this time of year,it is so beautiful and peaceful there! Great way to get out of house and enjoy the fresh air. I have been going to the wildlife park since I was 3 yrs old and hope one day to be enjoying it with my own children.

I've seen better zoos, but this one is still quite great. Animals are treated quite well and are nice to see up close. The zoo is quite small, and will probably take less than an hour to see everything.

The campfires really highlighted our three visits to the Wildlights festival. The campfires are integral to Wildlights. Again next year we'll plan our visit so that the campfires are halfway through our journey of 600,000 lights. Nothing like sipping a hot chocolate by the supervised/regulated campfire. The campfire experience is special and greatly enhances our love for the Wildlights experience. The Kamloops Wildlights experience beats out those from other Zoos -- well done everyone.

Visited in Sept. Really nice place with a great atmosphere. I really like what the team at the park have done with taking in these poorly animals. Well done and keep up the good work.
The facilities are also great too.

5 out of 5!

Highly recommend this park to anybody, our son quite enjoyed seeing Spirit and the train ride. Giving them a three star rating because I found it a bit pricey for admission and food. I think the admission should be a little cheaper for families. But all in all we had a great experience at the park.

The wildlife project is amazing. They have many of the local(regional) animals in a natural habitat. The park offers a train ride through the park for those that do not want to walk. They also care for injured and orphaned animals. These they keep seperate from the domesticated animals as they prefer them to continue to dislike and maybe even dear people so they can be returned to the wild. A must see I Kamloops BC

A nice family tradition for us each year as we went last night with nicely arranged fire pits and new visually striking displays each year but to gain 5 stars, please email back when emailed to and select a staff member who can email back and is capable. A full week before we went and no reply all this time! I had a couple questions only. Plus maybe some lights in place to see Elk and Moose etc. And why are you still charging an extra dollar for the train???, as the coffees etc are already pretty high priced and seems like a money making ploy then, yes? We are already paying a good buck for the ticket per person. More activities too would be good, not just the clown guy year after year. Just trying to help is all! Still 4 stars in place.

My family had a lovely time seeing the Wildlights at BC Wildlife Park. If ever you are in Kamloops during this event I would strongly recommend that you check it out. There are a wide variety of lights to look at and the walk around the grounds was very pleasant. There weren't very many animals out but we did get to see the caribou feeding which was really cool. This is a must see!

This is a great attraction, animals were amazing to look at, they looked happy and very active and easy to view and watch at all exhibits. The park was not overly busy or crowded which was great too! A must see if visiting the area.

Lots to see inside the center including some live animals. The park has a good amount of benches and places to sit and eat. Some of the animals were nowhere to be seen but the kids loved the large covered sandbox with an abundance of dozers and toy diggers. Kinda pricey for a family of 4 with toddlers and better bring a wagon or large stroller for tired wee-ones. We brought a lunch or would have to eat from restaurant. Social distancing and masks were observed.

It was nice to see the animals, which ended up being the only wildlife we saw on our trip unfortunately. The staff were friendly and helpful.

You can get a discount if you stay at the campground next door.

Well worth the price of admission. By going, you indirectly feed all the wonderful animals. Nice clean healthy way to get outside and go for a beautiful walk accompanied by wildlife! All seasons, just as great!

This place is just great. It s small but my son and I managed to spend 4 hours in it (had lunch there).
We loved the little train ride which is operated by volunteers and for which you pay 1 dollar per person. It s well worth it. Please TAKE CASH to pay for the ride as other payment form is not available because too expensive to run for a few dollars. We did it twice at different time to see more animals (as some hide).
We saw every animal but at different time. Do a first stroll, take the train, have lunch, do another walk don t think you re unlucky just try to go back to several spots at different times. It took us 3 trials to see (and hear) the lynx!
The only downside is seeing the animals behind the fences (makes it hard to take pictures).
Most animals there are rescued so spending money there helps.
Price is 15.95 for an adult and 11.95 for a child (3 to 17). It s well worth it.

Don t forget to check the gift shop when you leave. Price are reasonable and there is a great selection.

An unbelievable experience. .especially for children. The entire staff are awesome and their knowledge and love for the animals is above and beyond. So proud to have the park here in Kamloops but it is obvious that it attracts people from everywhere. The bc wildlife park is a must do!

A park in the perfect setting! If you are visiting, please consider signing up for the VIP experience. It will match and exceed all your expectations. The Birds of prey experience was educating and it was simply amazing and thrilling to see the birds so closely.
The staff is the best I've encountered - Julie took care of our booking, Michele checked us in at the reception, and Jamie, the falconer helped us learn soooo much.
Definitely gonna visit again for the other experiences!
