Nurse's are over worked. Ratio for patient nurse care needs improvement. I think the computers the Nurse travel with to room too room are very distracking.

Great communication from doctors and nurses could not ask for better team on 3 east.

What an amazing experience I had on 2west my doctor was very informative and the nurses Alice and Pct Philemona were caring and great. Ryan from EVS and Mark from Patient Experience we re top notch . I can t say enough about my experience I highly recommend this hospital .

I got my appendix removed here. It was my first time getting surgery. Excellent staff. They were very helpful and kind. Made me feel very comfortable. I was roomed in 2 West. I highly recommend this hospital.

My experience in the ER was a little nervous until I met my nurse Jerzey, I never met a more caring and calming nurse in my life. Everytime I seemed nervous he made me feel relaxed and taken care of, I really can't put into words how this one person made my experience so much better thank you Jerzey!

I live closer to Riverview Hospital but my go-to ER and mammography imaging center is Bayshire Community Hospital. They always see me promptly & their caring staff is top notch!

The whole surgical procedure from beginning to end was flawless. The staff was always available to walk me through the process and assist and followed up when surgery was complete. I couldn't have asked for a better surgeon or hospital staff including the at home liaison. Whatever information I needed for peace of mind was available to me from all the personnel I came in contact with before, during and after surgery.

Not too long ago my dad was taken to the hospital due to having breathing problems which turned out to be pneumonia.

My dad was suffering from bacterial pneumonia and was in dire condition, and there was a chance he wouldn't make it. For some reason that I still do not understand today, the staff there decided to move him from his room, where there was 0 problems, to a room that was loud and noisy to the point where he couldn't even get sleep.

When I checked in on him he told me he was uncomfortable, sleep deprived, and just generally angry about being moved in the middle of the night.

His condition only got worst, and we decided to move him to a different hospital where his condition eventually improved and he was actually treated and cared for properly.

I am not trying to say that this is a horrible hospital, and I am sure that they have saved many lives and continue to save many lives. However, they failed my father and my family with their poor decision making and lack of judgement for a sick man, and for this reason I would not recommend this hospital if you have other options.

We couldn't be more happy with the care my mother has received here. The staff is very warm and caring. They go above and beyond what any hospital workers could ever be expected to do! Mark the patient rep is a beautiful soul. He bought my mother a plant!! Awesome!!

I wish I could give this facility more than 5 STARS!! They are truly awesome!! I received the best care from the staff of doctors and nurses on 3 North during my stay there for a deadly infection. In addition, during my six weeks of daily treatments as an out patient in the Infusion unit. Those nurses are the BEST!!! They put their patients first and they are about treating people as human beings and educating you as they treat you! KUDOS to everyone who works at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, from the doctors and nurses to the non the medical staff, may you continue to shine your light in this industry and become the standard bearer for the hard work you do in raising the bar in health care and care giving!!! Thank you!

I have health insurance and was seen In September for a car accident I had. I received a bill for 1300 dollars and they did not submit anything to insurance !!!!

3 east staff amazing and attentive and I felt well cared for ! The food was great I highly recommend Bayshore Medical center !! Everyone from housekeeping to mark from patient experience stood out!!

Every single person on 2 west has been wonderful. Being treated with kindness and respect by all. Having Mark the patient rep visit to check in was a delightful surprise. Even the transport guy was so sweet. They all put my mind at ease. Such kind and caring people. What an amazing hospital experience before and after my surgery. 2 West you rock!!!

Surroundings on 3 North are spotless and amazing nursing all so attentive.Physical therapist team were amazing.

BAYSHORE medical center was great, nurse Alexa was caring as well as Mark and Ron from Patient experience and pcts Dolce and Darwin were polite and attentive,my doctors were top notch.

While not planned, I had to take a trip to the ER which turned into an admission on 3 North. I was very lucky to have Lauren(mini reunion from a prior stay ) my first night. She is absolutely amazing!
I have also had Michael, Sona, Jess,(nurses) Andrea and Jackie(my Rockstar techs). They are phenomenal and made me feel like I am their priority. Mark from patient relations is so caring and comforting and a huge bonus to the staff there!
I will continue to return (when needed) because the Bayshore staff is awesome and makes you feel like they are taking care of a family member with the level of care given.

2 north has excellent u can't believe how attentive . Linda Hamilton was unbelievable really took away the pain and truly took her knowledge in order for me to feel better . every one I encountered were wonderful and if you need something they are here for you. Michelle the pct took her time and was patient with me . Mark the patient rep was consistent always with making sure all was explained and safe . i can see why this hospital has improved in the years and the best in the area .

I was on 3 North after having a procedure with Dr Greco. The nurses, Lauren, Danielle and Divine were wonderful and took excellent care of me. My patient Care associates, Jesus and Filomena were so caring and made me feel comfortable. They were kind and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and safety. I felt that I was a priority throughout my stay.

I have been on 2 north for a few days now and the nurses and pct's have been amazing. I have not come across any of them with bad bedside manor. They are wonderful. Very attentive to my needs. Amanda is my nurse today and is always making sure I'm ok. What a difference in the care here. It is incredible now. Mark from concierge has been wonderful. Checking in on me making sure I am being taken care of. I was in a room with a patient who was unruly and everyone did everything to get me out of that room so I could get sleep and get better. My experience by far the best i ever had here. Thank you to everyone on 2 north. The rooms are so clean and they are in the rooms at least twice a day freshening it up. Taking out garbage cleaning bathroom. Everyone asks how your doing. Down to food services. I was only on liquid diet and food services made sure I got things I would enjoy.

Sadly , the Hospital has all this wonderful space, They don't truly don't deliver Baby'S, nor have a ward. Since this country has an Opiates problem, they don't offer any kind of a detox program, were the Addicts, need true help. NOT 3 days and your out!!! WHAT Kind of TREAMENT is that?? !
(All they care about is , what insurance you have??. When you go to the ER. The DR. Trip over them self's so they can see you, for 5min. If so, then you get out rangers BILLS, from Dr. I bet didn't even see you. And THAT IS FACTS, I Wish the State would come in, and see for there SELF'S

I came to the emergency room recently with my son who was very ill and Mary was the attending nurse at the time. She was extremely professional and caring and constantly explaining to us the different medicines and procedures. I can t thank her enough for taking care of my son.

I stayed in 3 north. I had excellent care while staying here. I really appreciate how attentive everyone was and everyone was so caring!

Was seen quickly and lab and ultrasound tech were very professional and kind. Staff from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave very courteous.

I just wanted to spread the word about my stay at Bayshore Medical Center 2 North. I am not crazy about being in a hospital, but the medical staff here has been wonderful especially the nursing staff - thank you Jessica, Chi Chi and Peggy. Their care and attentiveness is much appreciated. I especially want to thank Dr Smith for going out of his way and meeting me at the hospital and personally giving me the best medical care especially at that late hour. All the best to you Dr Smith and to those that helped you.

I'm on 4 south the care has been wonderful from the emergency room to 4 south, all nurses and techs and encountered made my experience wonderful, it makes me feel safe not miss home as much .

My entire experience here has been outstanding from my Nurse Mary Porter in the ER to the entire staff on 2 north, they make me feel like a family member, going out of there way to answer or get answers to every question l ask.. it s a very Encouraging feeling at such a scary time when you re not sure what is going on.. Cody from nuclear came up to help me with the procedure I m getting and took his Time to explain It in terms l could understand also Mark Morrison The patient advocate here is an amazing man he checks on me every day and makes me feel very important.. I was recently at another hospital and the hospitality of the staff was not comparable to the hospitality here I recommend this hospital to anyone for anything you have going on it s not the old Bayshore it s new hospital.

Staff and Technicians well versed, proficient and pleasant. I find they are my 1st choice over other facilities.

This facility is amazing. The team on 2 west is phenomenal. From Dr. Greco to the nurses Daneille, Tamara, Kit , Susan, and Mark Pt advocate (not a nurse, but just as important). Definitely happy I chose this place.

I actually live down in Manahawkin, NJ and was hospitalized locally around Thanksgiving week. I was discharged and my Copd conditioned worsened. I knew I needed to go back to the hospital again but I could not go locally.

I have been a patient at Bayshore Medical Center before and my family and I knew that I would get the quality of care that I deserve. My daughter with her ten month old baby drove one hour and half to my house and picked me up and then drove me another hour to Bayshore to help me, we ll worth it I believe! I would like to describe some folks below that contributed to my positive experience at Bayshore.

I have met Mark the patient rep in the past and have always felt comfortable knowing if I needed something, him and his team would be there for me. Since it was Christmas week, he ensured some patients had beautiful pointsetta plants for their room and also went to each room Christmas Day and danced in his Elf costume to make us just laugh as who wants to spend the Holiday in the hospital. Mark takes the time to check on patients and I thought this was a kind way to keep our minds happy. Mark also sent up a goodie bag so that I had some ear plugs and other items to make me at home. This man is an asset to your team, he is a keeper I tell you, very devoted to this quality care!

From my Er nurse, named John who took care of me with the mounds of emergencies I heard! I did get into a room, 4 South where I think it had to be the best quality care I have ever received thus far. I felt safe and that was clearly going to help drive my wellness. A cohesive environment on this floor also ensured that I could just let them take care of me. Steph, Patricia and Cait were extremely detailed in my care as well as Aline. I actually had a chest pain incident where I thought I was having a heart attack but as I listened to my nurse Steph, I saw in her face she had my emergency under control and I was going to be ok. Just plain scary! I just saw Patricia a few minutes ago as on her day off had to be here for something else and she stopped in my room to see how I was, this is the care we deserve and Management must recognize all the efforts of these dedicated people!

I had superb PCAs who were very attentive to my needs as I literally had no way to care for myself. Donna Ashley and Orlando ensured gentle baths, keeping my bed perfect and said the right things when I needed it! Sometimes it is the just one gesture that can move you to heal, they never made me feel rushed, they also listened to their patient! Just going the extra mile for each task and that is what makes quality care. Once again, Management must recognize efforts of dedicated people!

I must mention my primary doc there, Dr. Albana who was there everyday for me, listening all the time! Most doctors listen to your chest and leave, five minute max and Dr. Albania actually took the time to heal me each day! I will never forget how he directed my care and communicated that as well each day! I will always ask for Dr. Albana when I come here, he better never retire!

I was admitted here for extremely high BP because of a rare medication reaction with food I just ate. I ve never received or even heard of better care, attentive care from nurses , doctors and all staff. It was incredible. The patient advocate was a very well dressed man and was the nicest person you ve ever met. I think of them and thank them to myself anytime I see a hospital when driving around NJ. They are the finest hospital, hands down.

I was a patient on 3N and had a wonderful experience with the entire staff. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and provided the best care. I d especially like to mention my nurse Tamara for providing me with the most kind and supportive care! Her concern and knowledge was incredible! I couldn t imagine a better nurse to have right after surgery.

Also, a special thank you to Mark Morrison, my Patient Experience Ambassador. He provided a true, honest, supportive attitude and he was a pleasure to talk with and share my feelings and experiences.

Bayshore Medical Center was an amazing place!

Can t say enough about the staff. They were outstanding. But to charge $5000. for an EKG, blood work, and IV fluids is disgusting. I am a healthcare professional as well. You should be ashamed of yourself. This is the reason people think socialized medicine is a good idea.

Excellent from the Er with Coco in Er , Dr Patel and all the way up to Tele staff all were attentive . Pct Shirley and all doctors great communication.

They are so expensive. I was there for 15 min was seen by a nurse.They gave me a prescription for Motrin and one for Amoxicilyn and a week later i get billed for $1500. No wonder the place was empty.

This is by far the worst hospital in NJ, my mother is 91 years old, and arrived at the Hospital by Ambulance Monday October 17th between 6 -7pm.
It is now 9pm on Tuesday October 18th, and a Dr. has yet to see her.
The Dr. has been called several times today.
Imagine a 91 yr old women, in severe pain goes 24hours with out being seen by a Dr. and all my family is told, is all the Nurses can do is call him again. The Nurses are very nice and caring, but this Hospital is poorly run, and if you need extreme help, I highly doubt you will receive it.
Go to any other Hospital, but this one.

Amazing hospital. Very clean and excellent service. All staff members had smiles on their faces and were very welcoming. They even gave out free vouchers for coffee and fountain drinks to patient's families while they were waiting.

I have never done this before but I feel like I have to write something about Bayshore. A friend of mine of 20+ years was admitted there a few months ago in a very dire situation. The care that he received at 2 North from the EMT's, to the Nurses, to the Doctors, all the way to the Employees at the cafeteria at , he was treated with such care, dedication, and unending patience with all of our questions. With all that we were dealing with one thing we didn't have to worry about was that he was in the right place to get the best care. I feel so lucky to have Bayshore near me, and my loved ones. Many, many other communities aren't as lucky.

The ER department here has much to learn! you can't let people in severe pain sit for hours on end with no medical attention

I am on 2 west with the best people I have ever met. I had barbaric surgery done and everyone here are so nice and helpful. Would like to say thank you to day time nurse and the night time nurse and also give thanks to the Experience Ambassador for letting me know that things are changing for the better. Wonderful people and place.

I was at 2 N and I will like to thank all the staff from the RN's Andrea the traveling nurse ,Steven, Katie and Eugjia. Also would like to thank, Kelli, both Taylor's , Janeen, Ryan and all the great nurses who helped me recover. You guys are truly blessed at what you do.
It's a hard job that a lot of people take for granted and I for one seen how proud some of you take your job seriously. I also seen a lot of young nurses starting out in the field and they took pride at what they were doing. It's a hard job and its not an easy one, and I seen it first hand.
My roommate was an old gentleman by the name of Al who was a very hard to handle person. He was always demanding and irate, but you guys never treated him different and were very professional when treating him and or cleaning him..
I just want to say good luck to all the new future nurses, and especially the young nurse who worked the late shift, and somehow was going to a 1 pm class right after work in New Brunswick. Then back to home in Keyport. Then had to come back for the late shift. Good Luck

Excellent experience! The staff on 2-West is absolutely lovely, especially Susan, Tamara and Mark!

I stayed at Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, NJ in March 2018.
I was there for 5 days.
My experience was very good. Maureen and Gloria, the concierge receptionist were very nice and welcoming.

The nursing staff was excellent, especially Melissa and Sona, my favorite nurses.

The housekeeping staff kept my room clean and sanitized, Debbie Fisher is the manager. She does a very good job with making sure the patient is comfortable. Cecelia in housekeeping and Jose in food services were great. Thanks Ted Zinn for the nutritional meals.
I am eating much better now, thanks to you.

My overall favorite person, is Mark Morrison, Bayshore Medical Center, Patient Care Representative. He is an angel. The care and support he provides makes your hospital stay comfortable. He goes beyond patient care with due diligence. For an entire week, Mark made sure to visit me, he made sure I was getting the care I needed.
I know for sure, when I was in my primary care doctors office for a post surgery follow up visit, the other patients were talking about their stay at Bayshore Medical Center, they thought Mark was very concern with their hospital care also.

Please know, there are not enough words to express how much Mark's daily visits meant to me while I was in the hospital.
I am like most people, I don't like going to hospital's for any reason.
Thank God for Mark's encouragement and concern. Keep up the good work and thanks for the journal.
Going forward and hopefully not anytime soon, the only hospital for me and my family is Bayshore Medical Center.

My mom has been in Bayshore Community Medical Center on and off for the past few months. The nursing staff is excellent from the ICU to the second and third floor. I must say there is nobody more hospitable than Mark Morrison, Patient Experience Ambassador. Mark has gone above and beyond to get my mom whatever she needs. On my mother s birthday Mark came in the room with a staff of nurses, they all sang happy birthday and Mark gave her a beautiful plant, a card and a balloon. It was the most touching experience for my mom and I am so grateful for that! Everyone really made my mom feel so special that day. I also want to thank Ted Zinn, Director of Food Services for accommodating my mom with his famous cucumber salad in which she loves. I also want to thank Kathy Armstrong for all the effort she put in to help my mom with her medical needs. Same goes for Patricia Walker!

Everytime I have a issue this is my go to Hospital, the nurses, nurse practitioners and physicians are all amazing. I had to make a visit to the ER today, not only was it fast but they really showed compassion and that their paitents matter and that's the best thing in my book.

I had such a wonderful stay while I was recovering from my gastric sleeve surgery. The whole staff has been so good and treated me very very well. My Surgeon Dr. Greco was amazing!! Mark Morrison made me feel so much better. He shared some of his own experience of his that really help me and I know will help me at home. He gave me a Journal so I can track down how I feel with a picture with my new journey. I love it!!! I really felt special in this hospital! Thank you to everyone that helped or inspired me!

the staff was very friendly, And I wasn't in there long, one physician did not diagnosis me correctly so it was a good thing i wet to my dr the same day.

I had to have my gallbladder removed & all the nurses & assistants in wing 2east were great. Thank you Tamara, Daniella, merilyn, Sam, Jesus & everyone else who took great care of me!!

Emergency Room visit was very professional and all around nice experience . Also 2 North was ran well and the staff were nice and attentive .

My daughter RACHEL was admitted from the Emergency room on 9/18. She has special needs. We were on 3rd floor. I d like to say how wonderful all her Nurses and Techs have been to her. Especially Tamara and Lauren. And Mark Morrison was ver nice also. Thank you.

I would just like to say that Coco who is an ER Technician is the most caring and conscientious hospital employee that I have ever met. My father was in the emergency room for 10 hours the other day and Coco was attentive to not only my father, but numerous other patients as well as his co-workers. He truly loves his job and cares for his patients like they are his own family members.

My son and niece both had procedures done at Bayshore and the staff is truly outstanding! From outpatient services to nurses, patient care associates and hospital patient advocate awesome all around. The surgeon Dr. Greco exceptional doctor, took his time answering and addressing my concerns and questions, which nowadays you pretty much get rushed along so I greatly appreciate him taking the time and making me and my family feel totally comfortable and confident that we had chosen the correct hospital and surgeon for my sons needs. As for the nurses & pca Danielle, Cathy, Mike & Reggie they supplied us with upmost care and answered all of my son's needs and questions. Finally Mark Morrison (Patient Experience Ambassador) thank you for your guidance and words of encouragement and sharing your own personal experience meant a great deal to us. Everyone on floor 2E you are all greatly appreciated and no one likes being hospitalized but you made it such a positive experience and for that we are grateful. To anyone who may be considering coming to this hospital for any procedure I highly recommend it!

3rd unsafe discharge for my brother in 4 weeks. Hemoglobin 7.6. Low hematacrit. Gave him blood and sent him on his way. No diagnosis for dangerous labs. No hematologist consult. Recent surgery and on anticoagulant.
No wheelchair ordered for home dispite requests. He can't walk.
He's bleeding from somewhere. I'm in fear for his heart. Keep pushing him out in the exact condition he was admitted. Makes you wonder. He has insurance.
The emergency room staff is beyond amazing. The follow up care has me shaking. Discharges are a nightmare.
Asking for patient rep upon 2nd and 3rd admit. Didn't help.

Bayshore medical center by far has the best staff service i have ever dealt with. 2 West staff is extremely attentive and down to earth which is great for patients, like myself. Who wants to be in a hospital because they re sick?! Nobody, but the staff at bayshore medical center especially 2 west staff makes you feel at home.

Same Day Surgery took great care of me and my kidneys!

What a great experience in the new Bayshore Medical Center. Nurses, Patient Associates, Nutrition Services etc have been great on 3 East. Compasionate, patient and more importantly attentive.

My sincere appreciation to Dr. Brennesel in the ER. He convinced me to be admitted for 1 more test and that test indicated that I had a Stroke. I dont know where I'd be if it werent for his persistence and great instincts. Thank you Dr. Brennesel we need more humans like you in this world.

My loved one is presently in the I.C.U. unit very very ill. I can't say enough about the staff of nurses & Doctors. His nurses Connor & Diana are so kind & attentive. Everytime I visit I have seen & spoken to a Doctor who explains everything in simple layman terms. Thanks you all for your professionalism & dedication. I am confident he is in good hands. On the behalf of the Bakala Family we just wanted to recognize the nursing and patient experience team at Bayshore Medical Center for taking care of our mom/ my wife. The nurses especially nurse Chona from 4 East was very attentive and communicated with her. The patient experience team from the ED Dee Panella to the inpatient unit Mark Morrison were also attentive and even went above and beyond to making sure she was being taken care of by communicating with the nurse. She even mentioned how great the Food was during stay and she also got to choose her meals. She was able to rest.

I feel like I'm on a cruise ship when I'm in Bayshore Hospital. You are treated by the staff and nurses like no where I have been. Always attentive and there when you need something, even when you are fine they are there. The reason 4 star instead of 5, the food needs help. I will recommend this hospital to anyone.

The staff and doctors all the way to the custodian who smiled at me, is exceptional. They are caring. That's exactly the way a hospital should be and this hospital executes it perfectly.

I was just in the hospital on 2 West everyone was amazing and really really nice. They treat everyone really well. MARK is the man.

My wife wife Kari bifulco got her gallbladder surgery and Jean joderick from transport went above and beyond to accommodate everything my wife needed and also with other patients Jean also made sure to grab a wheelchair when he saw her doing her walking up n down the hallway because she felt light-headed and helped her back to her room definitely need more workers like Jean

This Hospital is my choice of hospital, Dr Doss and Jen Lovey were outstanding and so informative , I can t say anymore how pleased we were here from ER care from nurses to the patient rep Dee to cleanliness and personal care, then 4 west nurse Amy and icu nurse all attentive , also Cheryl the concierge o personal to our needs.

So here's my review. I'm giving four stars and this has nothing to do with the staff. So in the beginning when I was admitted it was a very snowy day and that's how I ended breaking my ankle. So I understand the hospital was obviously very busy. The staff was excellent getting me into the ER and a holding room and just giving me the proper attention I needed to manage my pain. The problem with the hospital is that all of Meridian was basically having computer issues and let's just say they were the ransomware kind. I worked for Meridian for a few years and I'm sure this could have been prevented so that's the only reason for the four Stars. Now onto the staff. OMG they were amazing. Angela, Tamira I believe her name was, Donti also not entirely sure of the name and Francis. All of them were just super attentive and fantastic. They were always ready with my medication and just relating with me on a personal level. Even if it was asking about my tattoos or the Nintendo Switch I had my wife bring in for my long stay. They really were amazing and just kind people. So five thousand stars to them.

My father had a hip replacement and was placed in 2west and the staff is amazing! From the doctors to the nurses to the staff everyone is great! Really positive experience all around

I am a patient on 2W. I can not express how extraordinary the care is here @ BMC. I feel like they rolled out the red carpet. Very caring, compassionate employees. Very concerned , they care about you & treat you like a individual no cookie cutter care here.

The care from staff here was so informative from 2 west nurses and pcts all so caring , Bariatric Dr Grecoo is the best surgeon. I am happy I chose Bayshore for my procedure and highly recommend this hospital. Thanks to mark the advocate and each individual I met.

My mother arrived on Jan 6 and was there for 9 days , I can t express how appreciative I am about the care she received from the moment we registered at the front desk with the smiling faces. Then we were in the ER and her nurses Sarah and Brieanne and Rebekah and pct Esther were always on top of her needs . The emergency room Dr. Patel spent the time explaining everything to my 88 year old mother so she understood , this was very imp!! The ER Ambassadors Dee and Amy kept my mother informed and comfortable during the entire ER time . Manager Tatyana and assistant manager also checked on me and my mother which was comforting . Then my mother arrived to 4 south , the care was consistent on every shift and each and every person that interacted with my mother stood out and made an impression. Please every nurse and Pct stood out !!! nurses Alissa , Cait , Sol,Hunter,Blessy, Laura ,Cindy ,Aline,Steph,Amanda,Eunjin . Pcts Ashely Mary,Shirley,Joanne ,Jeanene,Dawn,Maria ,Matt,Jack,Arrianna all so caring and went above and beyond .The Evs team John, Tom and Michele were amazing , Debbie Fisher daily checked on my mom and made sure her room was spotless and even Got her mind off of her being in the hospital . The food service team went out of their way to make sure all her meals were delivered and took the time to make sure all her dietary concerns and request were met above and beyond. The cook Joe Leroy was outstanding and even took the time to check on her himself !!!! . Jeremiah and Brian and Ted P. Cant thank them enough . Dr Younan and Dr Yemi and Dr. Ani daily communicated with me and my mother on her plan and never left us out of the loop . Patient Experience manager Joe Monica was instrumental and helpful daily checking on her as well as Ron from Experience. I have to highlight Dr Mansour who really took extra time and looked into finding out the root of my mothers issue for passing out . His bedside manner was beyond what I expected . Cheryl and Maureen the concierge with their daily visits and helping mom feel loved , front desk Greeters Cynthia and Bernadette also so warm . This review could go on and on . Myself and my family were so touch and again this is Why Bayshore Medical stands out all these people impacted our experience and we will never forget it , if we forgot anyone I m sorry .Bayshore is the place to go it s not what it was years ago the people here go out of their way to help you and you never feel like a number .

2-East is the one of the best unit. I had Dr. Greco who performed my surgery and all the nurses and PCT are wonderful.

My dad was first in this hospital for 11 days in February 2018 for pneumonia and now in August 2018 for bariatric surgery and the staff both times couldn t have been better. From the patient advocate, Mark, to the wonderful nurses and doctors on 2 West we ve had another exceptional experience.

I was admitted in 2 east on December 16th. I had surgery here. I met mark Morrison. He was absolutely a complete joy to help me get through my days that I stayed here. I can not thank him enough sharing his life experience. I am very excited to write in my journal. I had the best two nurses Danielle and Larin. My patient care associate Jesus was just always on top of making sure that I had everything I needed. I can not say enough about bayshore.

Couldn't be better!!The whole staff, start to finish has been outstanding.Especially, nurses Danielle, Jamie,and techs, Sam ,n Bridget. All on 2West. The day stay surgical team was wonderful. As I said b4, it couldn't be better!

My mother was taken to the ER by Holmdel first aid squad, and received excellent care. I would specifically like to commend the PCA or tech named "Coco", who was very quick to spot a neurological change in my mom and notify the appropriate person. Julia and Toni, RN's , were great, although I did note that they were significantly short-staffed. Everyone was quick to try and help when help was requested, but as an RN, I was hesitant to interrupt anyone to help put my mom on the bedpan. A few times when I did solicit help from PCA's, I was asked to wait, and told that they did not usually work in the observation area, and were supposed to work in Fast Track. Dr Ahmad was patient and informative.

There were no trash receptacles in my mom's area, so when I did change her , it was difficult trying to dispose of the soiled diaper and wipes. In addition, when my mom went up to telemetry she was being sent for lots of tests, and the fact that there were no fitted bottom sheets left her in a wrinkled uncomfortable mess. This is not the best way to maintain skin integrity. Please reconsider, ans get the fitted bottom sheets back. I would also like to commend Jill, PCA on 4 East, who was quick, skillful and compassionate.

2north,the stay here has been like no experience being in the hospital, I'm a oldhead, back in the day Doctors and nurses cared and I m happy to report, that this experience let's me know that everybody is not just working for a check,they truly make u feel safe secure,never has anyone made me feel like I have annoyed or interrupted gossiping fest, I can't remember everyone name, but I want to shout out Steven, Danielle,and I hope I'm got her name right NJ, overnight nurse excellent excellent, everyone from the food to the house keeper,no complaint, thanks 2NORTH, KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK 2NORTH YOUR ALL GOING TO HEVAN... THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING....

I work for this place and i cant believe how they even treat their own employees.twice i was turned away to have bloodwork done.bloodwork that has to be done on a specific day of the month .so i now have to wait another month in hopes it falls on a day that works for them !! I am growing very tired of how me and my family get treated !!

I can't tell you how easy and fast everything was. I needed bloodwork imaging and mammogram all in one day and they got it all done within an hour...amazing convenient and amazing staff....if you need anything done not related to an emergency I highly recommend to make an appointment with the wonderful bayshore staff and get all your testing done in one place insted of running all over .....thank you all for the caring and easy way of testing

I had a very good experience, I was sent for my ekg almost immediately and the representative was waiting for me and all was completed easily and with no discomfort. Thank you to all who helped me.

The staff on two west is absolutely wonderful .They take the time to listen to your needs and fulfill them .. Two nurses stood out for me particularly Daniella and Karen you two ladies are amazing keep up the amazing work you do

I just recently had to spend a week In Bayshore Medical Center on 2 north. All the nurses, aids were amazing. My nurses were very attentive to my needs. Steven Caroline, Jess, Katie, Jancy, and Pattie (sorry if I missed anyone) made my stay in the hospital a little bit easier. The Drs were great and made sure I was good to go home. Dr patel, Dr Awan, Dr smith, Dr G, and Dr Hozayen were great. Mark the patient advocate was there to make sure I was being taken care of. My stay here was great.

This place is worse than your local DMV. The staff is rude, uneducated, and overworked....not sure from what, as the place is empty. Next time I need help, I am going to Motor Vehicles, it will be a better experience.

My experience on 2 East was outstanding . I can t say enough of about great care and human touch . Nurses and all staff, nurse Danielle and pct Donte were always there with a smile . The emergency room was very quick and care from Dr Lewis and Patient Ambassadors Mark and Dee were there all the way keeping communication flowing and genuinely care . My first time admitted and can t say great things in my eyes this was better than a 5 star hotel .

I'm currently in 4 South as a patient. When we first moved to the area 12 years ago, Bayshore had a negative reputation. As the years have passed, Bayshore has made SO MANY improvements and their reputation turned around completely. I've been here since Monday afternoon, and my experience is phenomenal. The staff makes you feel like you are the only patient in the hospital. My needs are met, my concerns are always answered and explained in a way I understand.

As always, thank you to the staff - especially 4 South, Dr. Greco from the bariatric center, and Mark Morrison from Patient Experience for making me feel like my health truly matters.

Nurses during my experience on tele Amy and Kristen stood out and so informative , Evs team went above and beyond and John Zaffrese was so helpful with my diet needs . Everyone was quick to all my needs, including the PCts.Mark the patient advocate was excellent.i highly recommend Bayshore Medical center.

Writing on behalf of my mother who has spent the last 5 days here. The team on Floor 3 East made the experience here as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Drew and Kate were beyond exceptional - both were attentive, kind calming and knowledgeable, she felt as if she was being cared for as a friend not just a patient. As her daughter, I was so happy with their attentiveness and urgency in providing her with everything she needed.
The ER department was also wonderful! Doctor Prasad and the ER nurses were excellent in assuring she got the care and testing required and made the effort to come and check in throughout the day despite a very busy ER. One nurse in particular stayed with her the entire time she was having a reaction and remained calm and reassuring.
Lastly, Mark from the Patient Experience Team was fantastic and a pleasure to speak with. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed!
