I was in an unbearable amount of pain from an ear infection, it was late, my Dr. obv wasn t open so I went to this hospital. I was greeted by 2 nurses that literally started chuckling at me because my heart was beating fast when they took my vitals. There are many contributing factors as to why my heart was beating fast, but regardless why would someone on the job laugh at their patient to their face? So rude! Then the doctor came in and barely said anything to me. Did not explain anything very well at all. The nurses told me more than he did. Then when one of the nurses finally came back to give me my prescription she walked away with it and I thought maybe I dropped it and was looking all around the room for 5 mins before she came back apologizing for taking it. They really need to get it together over there. I would not recommend this hospital based on my experience.

Yesterday morning I came to the hospital because of stomach pains. It ended up being appendicitis, and I had to get my appendix removed. All the staff here treated me great, very nice, helpful, informative, and caring to what I was going through....everybody from the Drs, nurses, people working in emergency room etccc. They surgery went great and they did everything to make me comfortable afterwards. I am beyond happy that I came to this hospital, made this terrible experience better to deal with. I would love to say thank you to all the staff!!
Alot of thoughts on my experience and journey at Bayshore the crew at 3 north every one of them was exceptional made me feel so comfortable ,kind and respectful ladies especially since this was my first over night in a hospital they all made the experience very easy I want to thank them . Dr. Grecco was as professional as they come. And a big thank you to mark Morrison for spending some quality time with me and helping me understand what the future holds thank you for my journal can't wait to fill it out and look back
My name is Christopher Powell and I just spent the last 4 days and 3 nights here. I went in for same day gall bladder removal, but unfortunately it had to come out the old fashion way. I cannot thank the staff in 2 East enough for keeping me comfortable and taking care of me. The entire roster of nurses and assistants are rock stars. They're polite, encouraging, and attentive. There's no way I could remember everyone's name, but if you had anything to do with helping me over the past 4 days, I really appreciate it. You're great at what you do. I also have to send some love my surgeon Dr. Lauren Fischer. Thank you for taking care of something that has been giving me nothing but problems and pain for over 20 years. Based on my experiences, I highly recommend Bayshore Medical Center and Dr. Lauren Fischer.

I spent an overnight visit in the telemetry unit. The staff was kind, caring, patient and took the time to explain everything. The hospital itself is clean and efficient. I hope I never have to spend time there again for obvious reasons but it would always be my first choice if needed.

I have to say that even under how busy it was in the Emergency room my care was excellent ! Nurse Catherine was so attentive and had the best attitude always there when needed. The ER rep Dee was constantly keeping me updated and assuring me I would be fine . Then I arrived on 3 east where it only got better !! my nurse Neelie was so calm and this made me feel safe, Naomi my Pct was on top of all my needs. I even met the nurse manager Ashley who made sure I was informed always .Mark my Patient Rep was also very instrumental in so many ways and every hospital needs Mark . The cleanliness of the hospital was the best I ve noticed in many hospital visits . Thank you Bayshore!!
Worst hospital you could ever go to. My grandparent was in the hospital for a week and was never given her pain medication that she has been on for 10 years!! She started to detox from it and the symptoms were horrific. Called our attorneys and took pictures of this disgusting hospital and now we will expose what this hospital truly is.
Staying in 2 west an amazing experience had sleeve surg and all my care had been perfect the nurses are caring and understanding even at weak moments I also had the PLEASURE of meeting Mark he presented me with a journal to record my new beginning HOW COOL !! Thank you everyone

It's weird to say that I had a great experience in the emergency room when I was feeling so horrible. Dr. Ryan Brennessel made me feel at ease and explained what he was doing and why he was. He also went beyond the care in the emergency room but called me at home to see how I was feeling. Not many doctors these days have the bedside manner that he does. Thank you for making me feel so comfortable and not scared.

I was readmitted to the hospital and still stand by the fact that 99% of the nurses and PCAs are INCREDIBLE HUMANS. NOTABLY: Tamara, Katie, Magda, Jess, Jackie, Dante, Jean, Cliff, Karen, Kaitlyn, etc.
Update on ER experience: AVOID THE ER. THE FRONT DESK WOMEN (Mon. evening staff) WERE RUDE BEFORE I EVEN SAID ANYTHING. Also, how is there only ONE triage nurse? It took an hour to get through 4 people!
I was in 3 North the staff was extremely nice, hard working people from the day shift to the night shift omg wonderful even the students that came for training were so great one girl name Ashley she came introduced herself to me and I was in a lot of pain crying she sat down and talked to me and read to me. You have, Monica, karem, Jajo, Darwin, Nicole, Braitney, sorry I can t remember all the name but the tech Girls, and Guys. Thank you so much for making me feel like I wasn t a bother while I was probably cranky and demanding for answers.
I was at this hospital for surgery performed by Dr. Greco. Dr. Greco is highly skilled and walked me through all the steps of surgery, answering all of my questions and concerns. His staff at the Bariatric Center are so friendly and welcoming, as if you were family. They made my surgery clearance process very easy and organized.
My aftercare on 2 East was exceptional. Nurse Angela stands out the most. She was so personable, thorough and accommodating. She educated me, and even offered non pharmaceutical interventions for pain control such as aromatherapy which was very relaxing. She also checked in on me various times throughout her shift. My PCTs, Lucero and Jessie were very attentive and professional. Lastly, Mark, patient advocate, made great efforts to instill confidence in my recovery and journey ahead.
This hospital and staff exceeded my expectations. I am so thankful I was given a journal to record and remember this wonderful, life changing experience. Thank you all!
For anyone out there that wants to utilize a near by hospital for the convenience to their family and themselves, I am giving you my opinion on this hospital. I was told 4 months ago by everyone I know to go the HSS or NYU in the city for my first hip replacement. Knowing I needed both hips done at 52 years old I decided to chose a local place to take the burden off my family and friends to drive me to the city. First I found Dr. Robert borzio. I felt very confident and comfortable with him and booked my first hip replacement 4 months ago. I had my surgery in July. Dr borzio did an amazing job. Un fortunately I put a large burden on my other hip during my post op and here I am back in Bayshore medical hospital one day post op with my second new hip! I feel amazing AGAIN! From the second I came to this hospital I was impressed with the cleanliness, staff attention and convenience. Pre op testing was fast and no non sense. I was prepped pre op by the most efficient staff including nurses and ancillary staff. I was an operating room nurse years ago and was impressed by the OR when I was wheeled in. I looked around the room for any breaks in sterility and saw each staff member doing a wonderful preparation to implant my new hip. Both anesthesiologists were professional, caring and gave me spinal blocks, which I was petrified of having!! With minimal discomfort and great post op results. I was taken to 2 west wing to stay overnight yesterday. Again I have nothing but positives to say about the nurses, aides and all ancillary staff. To name a few people which does not include all because I can t remember that many names were Sona, Andrea, Jessie and Reggie . They were so pleasant, caring and came immediately when called. I never care enough to write reviews but after speaking to Mark Morrison, patient advocate, I decided to write this review to help anyone that needs or wants a local hospital, decide on choosing the convenience of Bayshore medical. I would and do appreciate others taking the time to write about their experiences in life to help me either chose a place or stay far away from it!! I hope this helps others to make good decisions when choosing their health care facility. Joanne L
Today I had various tests done at Bayshore Hospital and all employees in each Dept was efficient and personable, all test were done in a timely manner.
Had my surgery here at 3 North in this hospital by the excellent Dr. Greco and I just gotta say that the staff here is amazing! Not one complaint can be given about the care and service that has been provided here. Especially, nurse Jess who I had overnight, she was so kind and made sure that I felt taken cared of. She honestly made me feel Iike we were friends for years and I truly appreciated this type of exceptional care. Reggie also from overnight was amazing and was on top of my vitals and anything else that he could provide. Nurses like Tamara and Jess, who motivated me to do my best during my stay are the reason I know I m going to be successful in the long run. I also want to thank and acknowledge Mark Morrison for coming around and speaking to me for he as well gave me more confidence and I will remember his kind demeanor forever. I want to thank everyone else who I have not mentioned for their care and their service because they all made me feel like family!
What amazing staff! I went into the hospital and had to have an appendectomy. Dr. Murugesan saved my life and I cannot thank him and the nurses enough for their care for my week stay. Simply the best!!
I was recently admitted to Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, and spent 4 days in 2 North. The entire staff gets the 5 star rating. From the nurses, techs, doctor's, to the cleaning staff, all were attentive, caring, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. The food was amazing!!! Best hospital food ever! Shout out to Ted and his staff! Mark, the patient advocate, was the most friendly, knowledge and helpful! I felt like I was being taken care of by family! Thank you all for making my stay there enjoyable!
I want to give a big thank you to the Bayshore hospital team. From the friendly volunteers & security at the front desk to the rock stars on the 4th floor west- my family and I thank you so much. My mother was admitted to Bayshore and needed to stay for 4 days. During a very tense and anxious time, we felt relief knowing how many people were on our side willing to help in any possible way they could.
4West: Nurse Su was our angel. She was so kind, helpful and knowledgeable. She worked 12+ hours a day nonstop for all patients under her care. Mark Morrison & Ron Milkowski were the patient experience advisors who checked in on us every day. Every step of the way they did whatever they could to grant our requests. They were personable & loving; I felt so reassured when they would walk in the room. They kept us updated with MRI scheduling and always went above and beyond for us. They both answered emails within minutes at all times of morning & night.
Kristin with food services never stopped working. She was constantly hustling to make sure patients had the exact food/ drink requirements/ requests they needed. When agitated patients would lose their patience, Kristin remained calm and dutiful.
Nurse Gaya was wonderful with my family as we were on day 3 and getting frustrated and anxious. Nurse Gaya was willing and happy to answer all questions we had. She was knowledgeable and we felt very secure knowing she was on our nursing team while we had to leave our mom after visiting hours.
Nurse Megan was so sweet and willing to help my mom with whatever she needed on a very scary and emotional first night in the hospital.
Nurse Patricia was very patient and willing to help with whatever my mom needed. She was pleasant and friendly- willing to chat with my family sharing stories.
Catalina was a work horse. She did everything and anything that needed to be done. She was kind and patient with all patients. We turned to her for any request needed. After 4 days of having blood taken, it became very difficult to take any more blood on my mom but Catalina came in and did it with ease. She was so knowledgable and we also were very grateful she was on our team. Her smile was infectious. :)
Our doctors were amazing. Dr Abrina, Dr Kumar, Dr Shah, Dr Fisher were nothing short of amazing. Each doctor was patient, knowledgeable and caring, constantly reassuring us that our mother would be okay. It was a stressful time, especially while we waited for an MRI however, all the doctors involved helped calm our family s nerves and made the best out of a difficult situation.
The facilities were very clean and the food in cafeteria was great. We felt very lucky to have everyone on our side during a very precarious time.
Thank you to everyone who aided my mom back to health- we appreciate you all so much.
I would like to thank Bayshore Community hospital and its wonderful staff, let me start with Mark Morrison-the flowers were beautiful and a nice surprise-my wife loved them and we enjoyed the time we spent speaking to you, it made us feel right at home. I have to point out that my wife was considering the gastric sleeve so we looked to see who in our area could talk to us and guide us through seeing if my wife was a candidate., we made the appointment for the bariatric center which was on the second floor of bayshore medical center, upon arrival the first impression we had as we stepped into the hospital and started to walk around was each department was clean and the floors were shiny "good sign we thought", we then met the staff and each person was very friendly and all seemed as they were happy to see us, each part of process went very smooth and I am writing this review two months after the first day we started our first appointment, we could not be happier. The staff guided us through each and every clearance, we had a great understanding of what to expect, doctor Greco who was my wife's surgeon is very energetic and a very good doctor, we expected this to be a long drawn out difficult process and none of this came to be as we happen to pick, what we felt was an amazing place that has a dedicated and loving staff, my wife had her surgery yesterday and the staff again was very friendly, constantly in and out of her room attending to her needs and making sure she was comfortable. I didn't write down each persons name but Mike last night who had the same surgery done in 2016 was a really great guy to talk to, he came in and helped my wife and said I had the same procedure done so if you have any questions whatsoever please ask " wrong thing to say to an Italian who loves to talk, lol-me!" he finally made it out of the room, hence I like to give credit where credit is due and I would highly recommend Bayshore and its staff, we could not be any more pleased from start to finish and thanks to the staff for putting the patient first even though I am sure you work long hours in a job that expects 100%. A+

My Mom is spending her Mothers Day at Bayshore Hospital for the second year in a row. Although we are not happy that she's in the hospital, she couldn't be in a better place than Bayshore. She spent 8 days in the ICU where she got excellent round the clock care from the top-notch professional staff. Especially Jocelyn, Edna , Katrina, Laura and Noemy her ICU nurses. She is continuing her stay on 2 West where the staff had been superb. Her nurses Tamara, Danielle and Vanessa have been on top of everything, going above and beyond her every need, not only physically but mentally as well. Her PCA's Sara and Sam have been terrific. They are so patient, kind and compassionate. The whole staff has treated her as if she's the only patient on their floor. I can't say enough about the care she's been receiving. I have to say Kudos to everyone including Mark Morrison the Patient Experience Ambassador. Not only did he constantly check on her to make sure she was cared for and comfortable but he and the whole staff on 2 West gave her a beautiful card and Calla Lilly arrangement for Mother Day!! It's been said that out of the deepest misfortunes come untold benefits and I must say that Bayshore Hospital and its whole staff have been one of those benefits!!
My experience at bayshore was excellent. I was on 2 east and the nurses and doctors go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of. Danielle and. Lauren were the best. Dr .Greco is so nice and really knows his patients. Even my cardiologist Dr.Zuhoff came by to check up on me.. Right before I left I met the most wonderful man. His name was Mark and he shared his experience with me and gave me a journal to keep my thoughts and pictures of the process in. What a joy. For the last 2 months I've been in contact with Dr Greco and Susanne, and they have both been extremely helpful in the process of getting ready for surgery. Susanne was super helpful with all my clearances and answering any questions i had prior to surgery. My surgery done by Dr Greco went extremely smooth, and he did a phenomenal job, I couldn't thank him enough for it. I stayed in 2 West after surgery, my day nurse Sona was fabulous and extremely helpful, and so was my day Patient Care Associate Jessie. I had them yesterday and today, and i couldn't be happier with their care. I also want to mention my overnight nurse, Andrea, who was extremely attentive and who kept am upbeat personality especially with how many times my pump kept going off and beeping. She never got an attitude or annoyed with it and always smiled and took care of me throughout the night! Mark Morrison is an absolute godsend and he made the entire experience that much better! Overall great experience and great care, i cannot thank the surgeon and staff enough!
The place is spotless! All staff are friendly and helpful. The food is real and delicious and the kitchen is very accurate. They will work with all your requests. I highly recommend Bayshore as your source for care.
This is my wife s third hospitalization in two months. I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff at this hospital. I am a truck driver and unfortunately my schedule does not allow for me to be at the hospital with her as much as I would like. I feel much more at ease seeing the wonderful care she is receiving now and has received in her past admissions. I would like to give some recognition to the wonderful staff you have at your hospital. Let me start with Mark Morrison. He is wonderful in every way. He checks on her everyday and makes her feel at ease. You can just tell that he loves what he does. It s not a job for him it s just the person he is. Joe Leroy is outstanding. He makes my wife special treats to keep her spirits up and just takes the time to sit and talk to her. The nursing staff has been amazing every time she is there. Kathy, Courtney, Chona, and Amanda on the 4th floor are just a few that stand out. You should be proud of the whole crew you have and I hope these people get the recognition they deserve.
To Whom it May Concern, Hi, I was a patient at BMC from November 22-26th. Unfortunately I have experienced many hospital stays and have had bad experiences with the staff. This was the first time that I can remember being on 3 East and I just want the nurses to all be recognized for being amazingly sweet and tentative! The nurses from the day shift and night shift were all great! I can t remember all their names but Nerman and the Kates/Katie s and Steve and Mark stood out to me the most! I know that s a popular name on 3 East You all Rock! Of course a special shout out to Mark Morrison! He is definitely by far one of the nicest,kind,sweet and caring man I have ever known! I stayed in 2 East. The staff was kind, helpful, friendly. Everyone was able to answers my questions, put me at ease. Never did I feel that I was a pain or just another patient. Donti, one of the aides, was just phenomenal. His personality and kindness really made a difference for me.

My second stay here and both times everyone absolutely everyone one has been fantastic. The last time I was on the 4th floor I had great nurses now I m on 2north and again great nurses. The staff has been wonderful, Mark the patient advocate is wonderful as is Aaron assistant nurse manager. My nurse Joelle is as well. And obviously I like my drs. Fraizier and Grossos. Guest Relations Angie at front desk has terrible manners. If this is the first person you meet upon entering a hospital run the other way to another hospital. She behaves as if she doesn't care anything about you or your problems and that is not who anyone needs for their guests relations. Maybe she was having a crappy day but she should of left it at home.
Everyone else is pretty nice at the hospital though.
I had an extrelemy pleasant experience on 2 west my care team Philemona and Donti pcts and nurses Angela and Stephanie were attentive. Nobody made new feel like a number and that was hugely noticed .
I'm in 2 West and have very good hospitality from Cheryl in Conierge and Mark in patient rep who r rthe best people bc they get what u want and helps u out.
Warm, friendly staff in the diagnostic imaging department. Rebecca, Mike and Jen quelled my unreasonable anxiety over a CAT Scan with contrast. They were patient and talked me off the ledge , so to speak; Rebecca explained each step and kept me calm. I will certainly go back for all imaging in the future!
I had to bring my husband to bayshore medical center 911 last night for a cardiac event. I am a retired ER nurse, CCU , and ICU certified. I requested another hospital because I didn't hear good things about Bayshore. To my surprise Bayshore turned out to be great. They were waiting for him to arrive from the ambulance. In less than 5min they took him to the cath lab. The hospital is clean. Everyone is personable and caring. The patient rep Dee met us from the ambulance and stayed with us. The ER Doctor Snehal Patel was fast and had everything waiting for us. The nurses were great. The tech Marie Rhinow was so kind. The cath nurses and Doctor Ravi Diwan was amazing. The ICU nurse Kim Woods was also wonderful. The next day was no different. Mark the pt rep was great as well as NurseCharline and tech Mellissa. I am very impressed. I have worked over 35 years as a nurse . This was the best experience. I will always recommend Bayshore Medical center to anyone who needs help. Sincerely Florence Coronato RN

The nurses I had during my stay, Danielle and Catherine, were wonderful! The techs, Mike and Reggie, were also great! Everyone was very nice and provided excellent care.
I especially enjoyed meeting Mark Morrison, a patient advocate, who really helped keep my enthusiasm up regarding my procedure. He was motivating and caring and provided stories regarding his own experiences. Mark also provided me with a journal to begin documenting my journey as a way to not give up!
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay on 2 East and have nothing but great things to stay about the staff!
I went to the ER here on May 27th due to excruciating adominal pain. All of the ER staff were attentive. After a CAT Scan showed I had an inflamed gallbladder, I was admitted to 2 West. The staff on 2 West was amazing! Everyone from my Nurses, Patient Care Associates, Dr. Kharod, Housekeeping, Concierge, Transport, Dietary, Case Manager, Social Worker and Mr. Mark Morrison, were extremely diligent at making my stay on 2 West the most comfortable it could be. The nursing staff and Patient Care Associates I had during my stay on 2 West were all warm, kind and caring individuals who were passionate with the care they provided me before and after my gallbladder surgery. They kept me comfortable and well informed about my procedure. Kudos to 2 West and their entire staff!!!
Nurse Lauren on 2 west was terrific and had great bedside manner . DR Fresco was informative and made my plan of care safe and informed. I highly recommend Bayshore.
I Was In The Bariatric Unit 3 North & I Absolutely Love The Department As Well As Staff! It s Super Clean, Smells Great ( Some Places Stink Lol ) , My Room Was Cleaned In The AM & They Did Well . I Had A PTA Named Donti F & Nurse Ashlyn Who Stood Out To Me The Most ! They Both Cared About What Was Going On With Me & Very Attentive . Both Had Me Laughing & In A Great Mood !!! You Both Went the Extra Mile & I Appreciate It

my mom came into the ER sat night with breathing difficulty. The ER staff was fantastic. They moved her to a room 3E and the staff there is extremely nice. yesterday we had Maryann all day and she was friendly and caring and excellent. The receptionist Bernadette is such a nice lady all day could not have been more helpful and pleasant. The staff has been so great and would suggest the hospital to all. Thank you.. Also Mark is also always helpful and pleasant.
my mother was discharged last night and wanted to add one more very special person on 3E, Isabel was so great with my mom. She has alzheimers which sometimes is difficult and frustrating to work with but Isabel was wonderful, held a conversation with my mom and made her laugh and treated her wonderfully. thanks again for the great experience in a bad situation!
I'm a patient on 2East since yesterday. The care here has been outstanding. My nurses Daniella, Amber, Sona & Nawal have been so attentive & compassionate in addressing all my needs. My doctor, Dr Parhar, is the best there is! Even the kitchen & diet staff have gone above and beyond to make sure I have all that I need. Overall this has been one of the best experiences I've had while staying in a hospital. It's definitely not the same hospital it was years ago, it's a major improvement & I would recommend coming here for your health care needs.
just now Today I visited a family member at this hospital. When we walked in the door we were greeted by two wonderful smiling faces. Cheryl and Bernadette were so very sweet and helpful. They were so welcoming. So very nice to be greeted by such pleasant people. They directed us to where we had to go and off we went to 4 south. We got to our Aunts room where we met such a wonderful and attentive nursing staff. Her nurses Steph and Sol, as well as her pcts Matt and Ashley were THE BEST ! We spent about three hours with her. During that time we were able to see the excellent care she was being given. We even met the supervisor of housekeeping Debbie Fisher who popped in to say hi and see if there was anything we needed. While we were there a very sweet man named Tom came in and tidied up her room. So very pleasant and polite. We were also so very lucky to meet the patient advocate Mark Morrison who my Aunt just could not stop talking about. She was enamored with him. She could not stop telling us about how helpful and attentive he was to her. She loved how he talked with her and was so concerned about her. We also met other patients next door that loved him as well. The food that was brought to my Aunt looked so good. She was looking so forward to her lunch. All in all I am so pleased with the fantastic treatment she is being given at this great hospital. A five star experience in my opinion. Such a great staff.
From Dr to Icu and kitchen and all nurses all stood out better than each other .Call bell promptly answered I highly recommend this hospital from Tele to Icu.
My father was just in the hospital and for the most part received great care. He was staying on 3E. Mark Morrison, the guest relations representative was amazing. He truly cares about the patients and goes above and beyond the call of duty. My father's doctor and nurses were great as well. I wish I could remember all of their names.
Dr.Doss, was amazing, did not feel the bone maro test at all. He put me at ease, as did all of the nurses working with him. Always get good treatment at Bayshore. Radiology dept. and A+ for them also.
Just the decisions to have Bariatric surgery makes one nervous but I must say coming here was amazing. I was place in 2west and if you can choose where to go for your recovery I would suggest here. Everyone is so nice and patient and also quite informative. They helped calm my fears and answer any and all questions. From every nurse and patient care associate to even the patient experience ambassador, I couldnt have asked for a better staff. Thank you so much for helping me through this and placing me gently on my new path.

I had a gastric sleeve done in 2east. The start was great. Daniella and Natalia took great care of me. I was sick all night and Daniella made sure I was ok. It was the worst 3 days of my life as far as my health but everyone was very nice and took great care of me
I ve been on 2 north with my sister for over a week She is a mental health patient who cane in for stomach problems .. we were all upset because of all the things that was going on and in walks ms Patricia walker. She was s god sent ... she went over and beyond to make sure not only my sister but I was in the best care ever .. she was about to leave for the day my sister had a problem she turned around from the parking lot came all the way back and helped my sister with her problem I am in awe of how amazing she was thank u soo much ms Patricia walker we appreciate u and will never forget u
I've always hated going to the hospital because it is typically a miserable experience. Bayshore and its staff have completely reversed my thinking about hospitals. The care I received at Bayshore was incredible. The first major difference I noticed between this and other hospitals was that every member of the staff I encountered seemed genuinely interested in my care and well-being. Everyone was friendly when they introduced themselves, and answered all my questions. The doctors and nurses were all very clear about my condition and necessary treatment, and explained things in a way that was easy to understand. I was also kept updated every step of the way, which was comforting. Any and all of my needs or wants were met pretty quickly. As far as a staff goes, the people I encountered in the 2-West wing of Bayshore were phenomenal.
One of the main issues I have had with hospitals is the food. This was definitely not the case at Bayshore. I have a lot of dietary restrictions, but it was never an issue because the first morning of my stay I was visited by a nutrition specialist who set me up with a custom diet. The food was actually pretty good, and they have a wide array of options to choose from. Every member of the nutrition staff I encountered were super accommodating and friendly, as well.
Call it 5 star, A+, 10/10, or whatever you want. My experience at Bayshore Medical Center was first class. I have to extend my gratitude to Kit, Alice, Jamie, Mary in the ER, Jackie, Donte (sp? sorry), Iggy, Reggie, and everyone else's names who are escaping me for their compassion and excellent care while I was there. The whole team in 2 West is really incredible. I'd also like to thank Mark Morrison for going out of his way to get me a coffee. It really hit the spot. Thank you all so much for everything. I will never hesitate to visit Bayshore Medical Center ever again.
Was on 3rd floor and evening shift is horrendous. No care or compassion. Contacted head nurse and she did nothing. People waiting hours for help. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!
My recent experience at Bayshore Medical center for my family was amazing. The care from Dr Yu in the Er and also the care displayed by 2 north staff was exceptional. Nurse Amanda M, Laura and Joel was outstanding. Manil from dietary was very helpful with dietary concerns and Patty the Manager was hands on always . Everyone was helpful and informative and Mark from patient experience was so resourceful and helpful all the time . Thanks for making a difficult time so much easier , I highly recommend this hospital .

I had to get surgery last night , to remove my fallopian tube. Dr. Patel was simple amazing and quick with the operation. I dont have much family in this area , I live in Irvington NJ. The nurses I was blessed with were Tamara and Sara and they made my first experience of getting surgery amazing. I truly appreciate them and this Hospital at 2west Bayshore ( Hackensack Meridan Health ). & one more special person me & my fian'ce will like to shoutout Mr. Mark Morrison the hospitals (Patient Experience Ambassador), need more like him. Was there today I showed up at a 8 and left feeling a 8 . Useless waste of time . Everyone was super nice but I didn t go there to make friends. Just want to say I have sciatica pain and the hospitals are not aloud to give you the drugs you need to feel even decent. There not party drugs or make you feel loopy or any feeling other then taking away pain . Everyone knows the problems Percocet has caused and they gave me one of those . So please mike if you reread this you seem to truly care about your patient experience. Fight this fight not for me but for everyone with this pain . Thank you for your time !
I am writing this on behalf of my family member that was admitted to 2north. The care from nurse Zee and Kaitlyn was exceptional. They made us feel safe that our loved one was in the hospital ! The PCT s all were so attentive and caring , food service (Manal) took the time to go over meal selections. Thank you to Mark the Patient Experience ambassador he really made sure all was taken care of and addressed . keep up the good work Bayshore !!
My stay here was great. I know in the past Bayshore community didnt have a good reputation and i used to say they were terrible, but the hospital has improved so much since Meridian has taken over. The nurses were all nice and caring in 2 north. My 2 favorites were cathrine and Jen, they all did there jobs well but their personality stuck out to me the most. Cathrine was the only person who could get ivs and take blood from me and that stays alot bc im not easy and she didn't poke me over and over. She was very gentle.Also someone I have to name was mark the patient advocate. He was beyond amazing and had even remembered me from like 4 years ago. I am a person who believes laughter is the best medicine and keeping someone like that around can make or break a person's experience. I really can't say enough about him but I will try bc he deserves recognition. He is kind, caring, and listens to you. He makes u feel heard and just talking to him you forget your even in pain. I had a really great experience for the 1st time in my life, most of my hospital stays were disastrous. My mind has totally changed about Bayshore and its because of those 3 people I named. If I was in charge I would absolutely give them a raise bc keeping good ppl around makes or breaks a hospital. P.s the food also got a lot better and kitchen staff that takes her order were very accommodating and im picky.
Had a great experience here. The amazing staff made all the difference! They were quick and understanding and always kept me updated. I am so appreciative of the great care I had on 3 east - especially from Julianna! She was so kind and patient and very helpful with meal selections. I was rushed to this hospital (while down at the shore) suffering from possible heat stroke. This hospital is amazing!! Took me in immediately. They were professional, attentive, friendly and courteous. Although I wound up being admitted, the entire staff at BMC made my brief stay most comfortable, optimistic and rewarding. To my nurses Merisa, Trisha, Melissa, Shavonn, Regina , Joe and everyone else in the ICU I thank you for nursing me back to health! In addition, I would like to thank Mark, the Patient Experience Ambassador (awesome guy) as well as Cheryl, the Concierge, for seeing to it that I had everything I needed from toilettes to phone/electronics chargers during my stay. If I could, I would give this rating 10
This hospital is the worst I ever encountered. I would not go here for a hang nail. The medical team is poorly educated, and therefore, their medical decisions for patients are not only blatantly incorrect, they are also unfortunately fatal, in the case of my experience there. They are poor communicators and unfit to practice medicine. Do not send your loved ones here, go to Jersey Shore Medical Center or Robert Wood Johnson in New Brunswick. My loved one would be alive today if it was not for this despicable excuse for a hospital.
We took my mother to the Bayshore Medical Center Emergency Department recently. I cannot say enough about the wonderful care we received from the nurses, doctors, and all the staff. They have my highest endorsement.
Since my husband checked into the ER we've had nothing but a positive experience here. I've lived in the area my entire life and know the reputation Bayshore had. Trust me, it is not the same hospital it used to be. It is now a Hackensack Meridian hospital, has been renovated, and is the cleanest hospital I've personally ever been to. The staff though, is who has really made this experience so great. We started out in the ER and were admitted to 2 North and everyone has exceeded expectations. There is always multiple people and nurses available that are more than happy answer questions or get you anything you need. Our first nurses Joelle and Josephine were amazing. They were so caring, helpful and really did everything they could to make my husband comfortable during his first couple days here (which of course was when he was feeling the worst). We also were visited by Mark, the Patient Experience Ambassador. He was terrific, making sure our experience was going well and checking if there was anything he could do to make it better. We met the Chef, Joe, and I had to compliment him as we've never had hospital food that didn't taste like hospital food! They have a menu and you can order anything you want whenever you want, and everything was delicious! We met Debbie and Ryan from housekeeping who also went above and beyond making sure we had everything we wanted or needed, enough pillows, blankets, chairs, and making sure the room was kept clean. All in all, we've never had an experience in a hospital quite like this one. Bayshore has truly transformed into a hospital you WANT to go to and it's the people that work there that truly make the difference.
My family and I will always be extremely appreciative of the excellent care my mother received during her stay at Bayshore. From her entry to the emergency room to the hospital floor where she was later placed the staff were attentive, professional and caring. Unfortunately our mother was placed on hospice and passed a few days later; however during that time the kindness shown to our mother and family will never be forgotten. As hard as it was to see our mother slowly leave us the tremendous support, encouragement and care at Bayshore Medical Center enabled our family to get through such a difficult time. Thank you to all the medical / nursing staff, physicians, technicians, housekeeping, food service staff and administration. Special thanks to Mark Morrison who is an excellent representation of what pride in caring should be in all hospitals.
My mother-in-law is on 4 W and she is receiving excellent care from her nurses who are caring, informative, and helpful. I met nurse Josh and nurse Susan during their shift and witnessed them being attentive to the patient and very knowledgeable about the patients care. EVS does a fine job of keeping the room clean and are consistently working. I was impressed by the hospitals attention to family members needs the day Nurse D Cassidy showed us a room with refreshments (ie coffee tea soda crackers and peanut butter). What thoughtfulness. I need to shout out to Drs Adeyemi and Pavuluri for being thorough and concerned with moms health. Most of all I want to especially thank Mark Morrison who exemplifies Bayshore Medical Center. He is the face of excellence in patient advocacy. I would recommend this hospital for its care and concern when it comes to patients health.
2 West - Lauren & Danielle were the most amazing Nurses during My Recovery! They were so understanding and attentive to how I felt . They were with me every moment I needed them , while taking care of several other patients. Went above and beyond with everything . They both have best personalities , HMH has a very Special Team with them two!! Thank you again Ladies !
The staff of 2 West was amazing during my few days in the hospital. The staff was quick, attentive, responsive, and made my experience as enjoyable as any hospital stay could be. Suzanne from the bariatric center was phenomenal she helped prepare me days in advance for my upcoming surgery. I had surgery on 07/22 i roomed on 2East. Bridget my Nurse was extremely helpful in making sure my pain levels were maintained and needs were met. My PCT Cliff Donti Jesus and Nich were excellent. Each of them in different ways helped make my experience here very smooth. Donti definitely encouraged me to walk to help ease the pain. Mark M the patient advocate has checked in on me each day to ensure all of my needs were met and provided emotional support. Ted the director of nutrition services stopped in and also encouraged me to drink as much as I could tolerate. Him stopping in definitely helped me feel better about my liquid diet. Every employee I have encountered here since walking through these doors has made me feel very comfortable and helped with this transition of life.Unbeknownst to all I am an employee of HMH and I chose bayshore over my home hospital due to the great things I've heard about the staff. This experience doesn't take away from the surgeons from my home base I just wanted to encounter a complete different experience out of my element. I sincerely thank you all for this experience. You are part of the change in my new life.
I had my bariatric surgery yesterday with Dr. Grecco, and my nurse Lauren in 3 North was so kind she made me feel so much less scared. Every nurse here is so helpful in making sure that I m doing okay. I hope that everyone has as great of an experience with surgery as I did.
Lauren was my nurse on 3n she is the BEST! Her humor really helped when I was in bad pain. She is very enthusiastic and showed interest in others cases, participated actively in discussions, interacted well with the me and other patients. she was very attentive. Strong knowledge base mixed with great clinical common sense.
If your in need of an Emergency Room at its close to to 12 am turn your car around. Find a different hospital.
Got here at 10 am and the first nurse was amazing and got things done for us. But once 12 am hit the Emergency room goes to one doctor and this place comes to a screeching halt. All they are doing from 12am till 6 am is just waiting for the next shift to arrive.
Its really unfortunate but this hospital s emergency room is poorly ran. Stay clear if you can and go elsewhere.
I was a surgical patient at Bayshore Medical Center and not only was Dr Storm an excellent surgeon, the entire bariatric surgical staff was amazing. Attentive, professional, and it was just all around a wonderful experience. Mark is a patient advocate who was positive and inspirational throughout the process who was extremely personable. Cheryl was great from the concierge service. All around a wonderful time and experience which made the surgery easy to overcome.
Well Not that anyone wants to be in a Hospital. But unfortunately sometimes we need the experts to help on our health. I was admitted a week ago. The attention and care of every personnel Drs, nurses, assistants ,floor management in the ER, 4 W, wing, 2 W wing, was remarkable I felt a connection with the care that was given. Also want to mention the cleaning of the rooms everyday has been super. Definitely a big kudos to Bayshore Medical in Holmdel NJ.

From the time I was admitted thru the Er I had a great experience. I was treated promptly. I cannot thank the ER staff enough. I was greeted by the concierge dept who gave me a get well card and personal belongings. Even though I was in the hospital I felt at ease. Then today while I was a patient I had a medical emergency. The response from the hospital staff was amazing. I can t say enough about the staff during my visit. Thank you. Thank you
