Bayshore Medical Center Review

Mother arrived at Bayshore with a TIA, evaluated, stabilized & sent to 4 East. The following 4 E staff took great care of her: Christina P-RN, Donna G-EVS, Brendon-CTY Asst, Caroline M-CTY.

We returned Wednesday afternoon to pick up medical records & Mom felt bad.
Matt-Tech at front desk, wisked us to the ER. Jerzey-RN, Lola-Tech, CoCo-Tech, Nick-RN treated Mom and saved her life. Dr Kahn removed the nasty blood clot. Dr Jacobson Anesth, kept Mom calm & sedated.

Post Surgery, Mom arrived on 3N and Francis-RN Assist Mgr, Yesenia, Amy & Mark of Patient Experience rolled out the red carpet. They took such excellent care of Mom, she didn t want to leave . I must commend the Concierge Team for their hospitality, they kept us calm & comfortable.

Major Kudos to the exceptional care the front desk took in keeping everyone safe, during this pandemic.

From the minute I walked in until I left, everyone who worked there from the front desk to the operating room couldn't have been nicer. I have told all of my family and friends about my experience.

I've been in the ICU for a few days and everyone here is great. I don't want to be in a hospital, especially right now. But this place is really great. The entire staff is amazing. Just the best.

My moms Er experience was great the Dr brennesel and nurse Abigail were so attentive I highly recommend the new bayshore Medical center!

Stayed on 3 east incredible service and attentiveness by all who cared for me. Cait was top notch.

My mother came in for back pain and was admitted for a month after surprisingly being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer that had spread in various locations of her body. All staff were pleasant and sympathetic to her needs and our concerns. Shortly after being admitted, we met Mark Morrison and from that day on he ensured we had everything we needed and checked on us daily since we were almost living there with my mother. I have been to this hospital a few times in the past and I can tell you the demeanor and professionalism has changed for the better. The staff, nurses, doctors and food service were all excellent during our stay.

I have so many people to thank for the time and care they gave my mother during her stay. To name a few, thank you Mark Morrison for helping my mother plan a surprise birthday celebration for my father, Cecile Dimizio, Donna Cassidy for your kind words and prayers, Kathleen Finch for taking the time to learn my mother's story, Ted, chef Joe and kitchen staff for always making sure me and my father ate and always catered to my mother's appetite (as it was very very hard to please at the time), and Joe Monica for helping us in discussions on my mother's move to the next hospital and future treatments. There are so many others that touched our lives along the way and if I forgot to mention you my apologies. Together, everyone created a patent experience that was hard to top once we left that hospital.

Being in the hospital isn't pleasant, but there are angels amongst all of the staff members in all departments. Dr. Yu, my admitting doctor, always always takes awesome care of me with my condition. Some of my nurses here on 2 North go above and beyond their call of duty, and the men who gave me my official MRI and transported me to and from were all very caring and endearing. The woman Manil, who corrected my food order a few times, she's so awesome she called me to make sure my order was correct and the other food staff personnel, Brian, made sure it was perfect. I'd like to give a special shout out to Mark from Patient Representatives. He must've heard my wishes because I really wanted flowers and before I could ask my daughters' to bring me some he came in with the most beautiful bouquet in a gorgeous basket and a card from him and the staff. I never would've thought that I'd have an experience like this, and this is coming from someone who has spent a lot of time in hospitals. Here's a list of people that work here that you'd be lucky to even cross paths with them; Digle, Caroline, Filomena, Janren, Dr. Nogueira, who by the way is nothing short of amazing, Dr. Awan who incorporated holistic care and provided me with essential oils for the pain, which to me is a best remedy, Kelli, Taylor, Janeen, and Laura, one of the most patient nurses ever, especially since I had her running back and forth for me all through the night!! This is definitely a brand new Bayshore and it was one of my, dare I say, pleasurable hospital admissions experience.

From the moment I entered and was registered by Towanda and Sabrina, I felt comfortable. What excellent care I received from PA H Shah and my nurse Linda P. Great care, fully answered all my questions, great bed side manner.

Well when Bayshore turned into Meridian Health I was happy to hear that finally a company is here to help the community hostipal turn around! Spending months and months in the hostipal I realized it s turned back into BAYSHORE! I visit this hostipal frequently due to my mother in laws illness, this time I had enough bells ring and no one comes, she needs assistance with the restroom no one comes, her oxygen needs to be changed off the nebulizer no one comes, when I come to see her I bring her to the restroom, I change her oxygen, I hook up the nebulizer, I help her 95 year old neighbor in the bed next to her turn her bells ringing off! What is going on here!

I had Bariatric surgery there and everything was excellent. I was taken in to the surgical area at the time they said I would be, the nursing staff was outstanding during my two days in the hospital and it was about as pleasant as experience as one can have for being cooped up in a hospital room over a weekend.

My husband was recently in the ER and we had an extremely pleasant experience with the nurse Mary and the retail manager Christina Mantello. The nurse Mary was extremely professional and informative and kept him up to date with all results in and extremely timely manner. Christina Mantello made sure my husband as well as myself were comfortable and extremely attentive asking us if we wanted anything to eat or drink as she knew I was 7.5 months pregnant. I can t say enough great things as they took such wonderful care of my husband and I m truly grateful for that. Kudos to them

My sister had Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy at Hackensack Bayshore & it was an amazing experience! I had the same surgery with HUMC in Hackensack, NJ and while that was a wonderful experience as well within the same Meridian Health Network Bayshore Medical Center went above and beyond for my sister! Mark Morrison was the best patient advocate I ve ever seen in any hospital; and, even though I wasn t the patient, Mark and the rest of the staff made me feel included in her process. We re all in this together and the network and support of this hospital is remarkable! I cannot recommend Bayshore, Dr. Greco and the team here enough for Bariatric Surgery and care!

After my surgery I was brought up to 3 North in Bayshore. My care has been wonderful. The nurses, technicians, housekeeping staff couldn t give more of themselves if they had more to give. My nighttime nurse, Daniella gave me the best care possible when my blood pressure went high enough to scare me. She called the doctor and got meds immediately. Thank you Mark, the patient advocate, for sharing your story of success, advice, and support. Everyone has been so encouraging and helpful. If I were able to give more stars I would. My doctors are the best.

The nurse Jamie on 2west was amazing! She took very good care of me and made sure i was comfortable the hole night.

I had surgery and was stuck in bed in 2 west. Everyone there was wonderful. they were kind and friendly and helped me a great deal. if I had to go back I would wnat to be cared for in that section again. Thanks for making it a great experience for me during a difficult time.

One star only because I can't put minus one star. This place is horrible from the scowling nurses in the e.r. to the doctors who look at you like a drug addict if you dare ask for some pain meds (while having the nerve "pain management is our top priority" plastered everywhere, to the dirty sheets, to the hour+ wait to see anyone qualified to do more than take your blood pressure, this hospital would get a 1 star rating in a 3rd world country...
and this is just the E.R. if you have the misfortune to get admitted many more horrors await, way too many to name here. Better taking the extra mileage to go to Riverview or Zimbabwe, or anywhere else where there may be an employee that actually cares about a patient.

I had such a great experience throughout my entire bariatric surgery experience. Everyone was so wonderful in every step of the process. From the start Dr. Strom was very matter of fact, I knew I wanted him to be my surgeon. Suzanne was absolutely amazing and is a wealth of knowledge. She was on top of all my doctors appointments and any questions I had. She made me feel so calm. The staff on 2West were amazing. All the nurses went above and beyond specifically Cathy and Dante. Dante was so happy and cheery it was contagious and made me feel at ease. Finally, Mark Morrison. He was so great! He was completely relatable and was open and honest about the whole process. I can t wait to start my journal he gave me to show the progress being made. If you are thinking about having bariatric surgery this is the place to go. I was extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Bayshore Bariatrics! Thank you again to all the great staff who helped me.

Additional Comments - The ambulance and the Bayshore ER team handoff was terrific. The nurses, nurse assistants (not sure what they're titled) and doctor were all great. The X-Ray tech and team were also exceptional. I received a brace for my right ankle and a brace for my right wrist that the nursing team showed me how to use. The only issue we realized when my family and I received our discharge papers and were ready to leave is the whole ER team didn't notice a big gash on the right side of my right leg and on the front shin area of my left leg from the S.U.V. running over me. I had to ask for antiseptic wipes so I could clean my own wounds since they were missed - and when we got home, my wife thoroughly cleaned and dressed my wounds with gauze. I'm an employee of NYU Langone Health and given the opportunity and time, I would have gone to my hospital on 33rd street and First Avenue in Manhattan, NY. Based on the urgency of being run over by a car, I asked to go to the closest hospital.

I don t think anybody likes being in the hospital, but if unfortunate illness sends you to our neighborhood Bayshore Hospital you will meet and be taken care of some of the best medical and the nicest people I have ever met. From arriving to the front desk, the nice lady that Wrapped the bracelet so gently on my arm to the Dr s assistant that brought me right in, to Christina the Er nurse that made the severe pain stop (thank you) and a special thank
You to the people that took care of me for two days. They are Joel, Hazel, Jean, Jesus, Cliff, Kit and daytime Andrea you made my stay so much more bearable. My sincerest thank you for your care. My mom is on 4 south ,the entire staff have been amazing, nurses Sol,Hunter ,pcts Dawn and Maria and secretary Dawn M. The Er was phenomenal with Dr You and Pct Esther were caring , Evs Debbie Fisher was always so helpful and Dillon the night nutrse on4 west was great,Dr Nasra was always on top of moms care. Where do I start! Bayshore Hostipal continues to surprise me with their exceptional healthcare! My mother in law has been in and out of the hospital for months! We recently had to make a trip to Riverview Hospital leaving my mother in law in there for 10 days. Her stay there was extremely unpleasant! As I sit here in room 456 4 South, it makes me nothing but happy to know my mother in law is in a fantastic environment! Her nurses are lovely, the room is clean, food is good! I didn t have not One negative word from my mother in law! This hospital had changed so much and it wonderful to know it s in my community! Dee in the ER is amazing, Dawn and Krysta are lovely, sweet, attentive women! They even asked me if I was ok did I need coffee , tea or water! Sol the nurse is so gentile and caring!! Also may I not forget Mark Morrison an angel from above! What an amazing kind hearted man!!! I can go on and on about how wonderful he is and how he makes my mother in law smile!!! She constantly talks about him as if he is her son, we have seen him numerous times that we consider him our family!!! Bayshore Hostipal is AMAZING!!!!

The staff in the ER was excellent. I was there during a shift change and the team turned over the information so efficiently.

I went to Bayshore Medical Center to get an echocardiogram. It was a appointment made by my doctor s office. No emergency, just a quick in and out. Bayshore sent a bill of $3000 to my insurance company. Seriously, they are charging $3000,00 for an echocardiogram. I ended up with a bill of $1400. My health insurance said they used a diagnosis code for medical emergency, but it wasn t. Their billing department said that the rate is right. So, be careful. Go to an imaging center to do your tests.

This is the worst hospital in NJ. In fact, it is a stretch to even call it a hospital. The doctors are like unicorn, never seen. The nurses suck. Technicians are uncommunicative.
Do NOT leave anyone there who is incapacitated in ANY way. My wife went in for MRSA treatment. She was immune compromised and they left her covered in feces and I had to raise my voice to get them interested in cleaning her up. The call bell might as well be a wall ornament.
She died there.
If you have anything more serious than a bump on the head or a cut finger, go to St. Peters or RWJ.

From my experience in the Emergency department the PA and nurse were so great. I was admitted to 2 North . My nurse for the past 3 days Rosanne took care of me and my needs. She was wonderful and made me feel at ease. My night nurses Josephine and Peggy were great too. I also observed my roommate being treated so kindly and concerned for as an elderly woman. As unfortunate as I was to be there I was happy with my stay. I appreciated everyone I came in contact with.

My boyfriend had a horrible experience at Monmouth medical came to hackensack meridian health everyone was so nice and took really good care of him..The staff at 2 west is amazing..

Quick, easy & painless..... I had a Cat Scan of the lungs & my tech Kristine Singh (?) was awesome. She was friendly, caring & I didn t have any sort of wait time. Right on schedule!

Hi my husband George Flamm is in ICU seven and he s been in the hospital for about 11 days I just wanted to acknowledge the excellent care that he s gotten here since he s been in coming in through the ER all the way to bringimg him upstairs . I especially lwant to acknowledge his nurses Zenny and Christine they have been gone above and beyond to help my husband get better and they are the most kind, knowledgeable and compassionate nurses I ve ever seen so please do you whatever you can to keep them happy!

Though I needed to be rescheduled on the hospital's part, my experience was one of efficiency and care for personal comfort.

I wanted to say how well the nurses/staff in 2 West were. I had major surgery & they took amazing care of me. Very caring, accommodating & polite. I do not remember everyone's name but I do remember: Cathrine, Mike, Julia & Vanessa. Catherine's smile lit up the room.
Also, Mark the patient ambassador was great. So friendly, caring, motivating & truly genuine.

I work here at bayshore in housekeeping and I had gone through Bariatric surgery with Dr. Greco, who was amazing from the moment I met him, and from the moment I walked in for my surgery I was treated with very kind staff and everyone was very helpful. After surgery I was brought to 3N and everything was very clean. Nancy, also from housekeeping, was very nice. Every time she came in she talked to me for a bit and asked if I needed anything to make me more comfortable. Also Mark, the patient advocate, was amazing. We shared things that we both have in common and he made me feel so much better. Everyone on 3N and the rest of the hospital was and are great!

Bayshore hospital is amazing, my mum has been here for 10 days now , I have nothing to say about the hospital except great things, each and every staff memeber has done all what they could to help her starting with registered nurses Kenni and Bea on fourth floor , brittany , emily , Avana on third floor north all the technical teams on fourth west and third floor north each by her/his name , all the team do their best to make her feel at home, on top of everyone Mark , he is phenomenal, he is doing all his best to make sure patients ate getting the best and the highest level of service

Last night, I went to the emergency department for chest pain and I have been treated with the upmost respect. My nurse, Christina G. Has gone above and beyond to make sure that everything is in order and she has been nothing but kind to myself and my family. I, unfortunately had to be admitted to the hospital today. Due to the hospital s influx of patients, I am still in the ED and do not yet have a ro. Despite all of this, the whole team has made me feel very comfortable. My patient advocate, Mark was also wonderful and made me feel better in a truly horrifying medical scenario.

I was on 2 west. Jessie was terrific. Can t thank Dr. Greco enough for a new and exciting future. And mark said s awesome!!!

I am currently at this hospital I had my gull bladder removed. I m in 2 west my dr is Richard Greco he is great. The staff has been real nice and Attentive. Thank you everyone for being so helpful through this Tough situation for me.

ER Staff are excellent but once you're moved to inpatient it's horrible. The beds are a nightmare to lay on for more than 10 minutes. Staff are inattentive, incompetent and negligent. God FORBID you ask a nurse here to do her JOB that you're PAYING her to do she will get a nasty, rude attitude with you. They don't follow Drs orders and just make up they're own rules s they go along. If you need much more than a bandaid or stitch run the other way!

Everyone on 2 west has been amazing attending to my needs and care! Dr Abrina, Dr Doshi and Dr Kumar, I can finally say that these doctors did not rush in nor out of my room they took their time explaining my condition and what the next steps will be. I had a great experience on 2 west while recovering from my surgery. Samantha, Danti and the rest the staff made sure I was comfortable during a difficult time. They made sure that I took my time with recovering and not to push to take the time I needed.

Amazing staff...very proficient & caring. I was so impressed by everyone (from the intake professionals, to the AMAZING nurses & patient care associates, to the guy who wheeled me to and from tests, the technicians & support staff, to the Doctors and ER personnel!! Cannot say enough good stuff about this place, at a very frightening and uncertain moment in my life they went above and beyond to make me feel safe and gave me amazing care.

This hospital has really come a long way from it s former issues and is really top notch now. The staff is extremely kind, patient and understanding and they really make the unfortunate experience of being in the hospital manageable and even as comfortable as it can be. While my husband was staying on floor 2 East, everyone working there was willing to help and never seemed frustrated to do what was needed with patience and a smile.

Nurse Felicia was always in good spirits. She was his nurse for two days and addressed him by name like she knew him for a long time. She was familiar with his needs and medications even though she had many patients to tend to. She had a positive attitude and was kind to my children when they visited as well.

Tech Donti was excellent. He had such a positive attitude, always cracking jokes and giving high-fives to the patients. He introduced himself to my children and high-fived them as well. He seems like he truly enjoys doing his work. Not only did Felicia and Donti do what was asked of them with smiles, but they went above and beyond. They listened and offered extra help. For example, when my husband didn t know how to crack his heating pad, he explained carefully how to do heating and ice packs and then offered to bring some more in case he felt uncomfortable later. When he was experiencing bad headaches, he told Felicia. She not only offered pain meds, but suggested it may be due to his blood pressure, checked it, provided medication and also brought an ice pack to place on his head and neck.

Mark, the patient coordinator, spent real time in the room several times each day sharing his own personal experiences and strategies. He provided his information and encouraged us to reach out to him with questions even after discharged from the hospital, sharing that he keeps in touch with patients when they leave to make sure they are well. No one enjoys being in the hospital, but this is the best possible experience one can hope for if you do need to spend time in one.

I am here @3 East with my husband since Monday ,the staff are beyond excellent, they are taking good care of my husband ,helping , cheerful and so friendly, I can t thank them enough!
We are going through rough time but definitely they made a difference dealing with the situation!

My experience on 2 north has been outstanding, they are really concerned about your well being , nurses joele , Kaitlyn, Katie, all areas are amazing from Evs, food service and mark from patient experience. I highly recommend this facility the best in the area. PATTY WALKER The manager of 2north is great and this a reflection on her staff , also cheryl the concierge could not be kinder .

The Rns on 2 west especially Danielle Cruz went above went what we expect in patient care. Her level of concern for my daughters pain relief made a frightening situation bearable. I wish Danielle, Kristen and Samantha would come and work with Atlantic! My initial response was to transfer my daughter to my hospital system but after seeing how on top of my daughters care all at Bayshore enployees we encountered were i would recommend Bayshore to everyone. Having an appointment was very helpful. Everyone was very nice and things went smoothly.

My hospital stay in 2 East was amazing! A few people who helped me throughout my care who I felt that I would mention is Amber! She is so kind and loving and an extremely knowledgeable person.

I also loved the Patient Advocate Mark. He really was instrumental in bringing me back from any doubts I was having when I started questioning, Why did I do this! He explained that many people have doubts but they come out of it and realize that what they did was the best thing that they could have done for their health. Mark is really a terrific person who understands since he went through and had the same experiences that I had after surgery. The receipt of the journal was extra special and I can t wait to start working on it!

I would also like to mention that Dr. Fresco did a terrific job when performing my surgery and I would and will recommend her to other people. Karen, Filomena, Jesse were also instrumental in making my stay as comfortable as possible. There are others who helped a great deal but their names escape me right now. Thanks again for the staff of Bayshore Medical Center. I could not ask for a better team!

I always use the hospital's outpatient department for my bloodwork and testing. I appreciate the way their office staff and the nurses serve my needs along with their friendly attitude. I also know that when I leave the facility, after my blood is drawn, I will not be covered with black and blue marks.

I was a patient on 2 East. My nurses were Angela and Laura. They both were awesome. Made me feel real comfortable and they were very helpful. This place is very nice and glad I stayed here. Definitely recommend this medical center.

The best care I have ever received! Starting from the Er staff Dee and Amy the Er reps and nurse Catherine , NP Sina was so caring. Then my family was admitted to 2N and the staff everyone from Nurse Zee and Lisa displayed true meaning to nursing care . The doctors, food service team , patient experience rep Mark , the Evs team were all apart of this great team. I highly recommend Bayshore !!!

I was admitted to Bayshore last week 5/12 and released 5/17, again this week as of yesterday and still here today. The staff and care in the ER was excellent as was and is the staff in the rooms I was in! The nurses are great and tend to your every need medically and do so in a kind and understanding manner. I spent a total of 12 days in bayshore in 2 stays in 3 weeks. I was in 2 north and 3 north , and for my first time staying in a hospital it was so far better than I ever expected. The care and professionalism from the great nurses to the doctor's, the housekeeping and the food staff was absolutely amazing. And I dont want to forget all the patient care specialists as well. You all from the first day to my last day were amazing and i thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I have been a patient on 3 east since Monday and this has been the most pleasurable hospital stay I have ever had. Everyone has been so nice and courteous. And just an extra comment Mark Morrison from guest relation is a complete asset to your establishment. He personally went above and beyond to make my hospital stay awesome. I was staying in 2North for 3 days. The nursing staff was beyond amazing. In particular my night nurse Mrs Josephine and my day nurses Joelle , Amanda and Rachel. They were so attentive and helpful. Also the patient relation rep Mark. He was also came in to make sure i was comfortable and my needs where met. It was unfortunate i had to stay in the hospital but they made the stay bearable.

I recently had surgery at Bayshore Community Hospital and had such a positive experience! The staff in Same Day surgery welcomed me and put me at ease, the team in 2 east (Susan, Sona, Melissa, etc.) took great care of me and provided superb service. Mark came to visit me several times and helped me get through some of my pain with his positivity and honesty. He even surprised me with a beautiful card and plant. I can t explain how appreciative I am of the care and attention I received while a patient. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

During my stay on 2 North, I had wonderful care from all of the staff, including my nurses and doctors. They paid close attention to my needs and always gave me a clear answer to any of my questions.

I can t say enough about the caring and attentive staff, top notch care and medical treatment I received on 4 South. Dr. Greco is amazing and his beside manner gets an A+. I have no idea how they lucked out and got blessed with such a wonderful Patient Experience Ambassador like Mark Morrison but he is the real deal and they are blessed to have him.

2 North was the best floor in this hospital and I just say this because it was the floor I was on . Best staff I have ever met in a hospital all have a great sence of humor. Never a problem when asking for anything just the very beat service.

The only words that I can say about Bayshore Hospital is 'Exceptionally Excellent'! ! Specially staff members of 2 North, both day and night shifts and the Doctors! All of you have taken such good care of my mom and have eased her nervous mind (mine too) tremendously! So a big THANK YOU to all of YOU
once again!!!!

My stay here at Bayshore hospital, was abousltly wonderful. From the the ER to the 2nd floor, north, omg, Joelle not just a wonderful nurse, but turned out to be a nice friend as well, carrying. Compassion, can't say enough about her, then there was mark, Morrison, very nic, helpful, friendly, and could not do enough for you, ,my stay here was perfect,, would come here always now!!!!

Covid protocal followed and im highly inpressed with how much hospital has inproved. Hospitalist were great at communication.2 north nurse Deanna was always caring.

The best care of myself and my Family when admitted , the make you feel comfortable and safe . I was on 2east , dr Greco was outstanding and nursing and cleanliness and mark from patient experience was huge help! Keep up the great care!!

I was sent to BCH directly from my doctors office. No waiting for BW and a very short wait for CT scan. Staff is overly friendly ! It was a pleasure and not a nuicance.

I was in 2East, after my surgery, and all of the nurses were phenomenal though I did want to point out two specifically Kit was extremely attentive and was there whenever I needed her, she helped untangle my IV when it was so twisted I couldn't sleep and Jesus the pct, was so fantastic he was also very very attentive, very sweet, and caring. The last person I'd like to recognize is Mark the patient advocate, he came in and spoke to my roommate Alexis and I and I didnt feel like it was a forced speech, he generally cared about what he had to say, and what myself and my roomie had to say too. The journal I recieved from Mark is so great and I cant wait to start logging in it with my progression and different parts of my journey.

Getting processed for an x-ray went smooth effortless timely they were courteous a very comfortable atmosphere coffee was even available

My experience with the staff at 2 North Bayshore has been so wonderful. The care and attention to my mom from Caroline, Filomena, Veronica is exceptional. I would recommend this hospital to everyone needing help. Even the staff in the emergency room was terrific. My 98 yr old mom had such wonderful nurses who showed compassion to a woman who is very feisty. They were calm, spoke very softly and with a smile . Working in an emergency is no easy job, they deserve a metal. Thank you for taking such great care of my mom. We appreciate it.

My parents have both been there and always say how the staff is attentive, and informative. It is clean and feels safe. We are lucky to have such a good hospital in our area.

I ve spent the last 3 nights in the bariatric center in 2 East corridor I under went bariatric surgery (sleeve) with Dr. I m Greco who was amazing very informative and didn t rush the healing process at all ensuring that I go home as safely as possible. All my nurses have been wonderful... Vel and Alice really helped me get through these days and nights... Our patient advocate (Mark) was amazing as well !! That you Bayshore for helping healing process go as smoothly as possible !

To the wonderful staff that took care of my loved one I can t express how dedicated all the staff was from the ER , Dr Yu to nurse Christina Garrison and then once admitted to 2north Kaitlyn the nurse and pct Michele went above and beyond . Bayshore really has changed and the staff and doctors have impressed my family and I and I m glad we chose to come here. Also big thanks to Mark the Patient Ambassador for being instrumental in communication as well .

I was in 2 west and my experience was exceptional. Dr. Grecco, Mark Morrison, Alice, Sam, and all the staff in day stay admission. Going to the hospital is always a scary experience but the care I received was unbelievable and I am amazed at how incredible everybody was. Bayshore Hospital has the best staff and I am eternally grateful for the wonderful care I received. Mark gave me a journal and my first entry will be, my two gifts from Bayshore. My first gift was the amazing care and my second the journal.

I was on 3 North and I have to say I had a wonderful experience.everyone was friendly from Nancy in Environmental Services to the Nurses Jesebel and Tamara who pushed me to walk when I thought it was impossible. Brianna the PCT was so helpful and attentive to me and Mark Morrison the Patient advocate touched me heart with how much time he took from his day to just sit and talk with me about his experience and how he can relate to what I m going through. I will always remember this experience and am so thankful for all the staff who made these two days as easy as possible for me!

All associates helping me were knowledgeable, caring, and efficient.

There are three intergaral staff members at this hospital that had made my Dad s stay recently exceptional. The patient advocate, Mark Morrison, is truly caring and goes above and beyond to ensure that the patients needs are met. He is personable and easy to talk to when questions need answered by the family. In the kitchen there is Ted and Joe. Ted oversees the cafeteria and came in to speak with us about the food that is served. We were impressed to hear that the seafood is fresh and chicken is antibiotic free. Joe is the chef in the kitchen and my father absolutely loves his food. When I complimented the kitchen, Joe was kind enough to make a special visit to Dad and bring him a piece of cheesecake and fruit. This small gesture warmed my dad s heart.
On a medical note my Dad s pulmonologist, Dr. Mansour, was exceptional. He really took the time to speak with us and ensure we understood my dad s diagnosis.
Finally, there is a receptionist at the front desk who is just delightful. It was nice to see her each day.
A special thank you to Mark again. His kindness made a huge difference with our experience at Bayshore.

My mom is in 3 north. The weekend nurses when she arrived were wonderful. Mom was in a great deal of pain from a broken hip. They were attentive and caring. Thank you to those wonderful nurses....especially Sanwant, Angela and Mariya. The weekday nurses have been fantastic too. Dr. Perkari has taken great care of my mom for many years.. The patient advocate, Mark, was extremely helpful. Thank you to all of you.

Tonight I came to the emergency room with my grandson. Our experience there was wonderful we got seen quickly and The staff was wonderful I just want any thank u to PA Linda,bud the nurse Tammy and Mark Morrison the patient rep came in and made my grandson so comfortable and was so sweet and caring thank u .

3 North is one of the best floors . Everyone is so sweet and nice . This is one of the best hospitals I been at .

I am writing to thank the Patient Representative staff in 2 North. While my Mom was there, Mark, who was her representative, went above and beyond to assist her with obtaining information on the next steps in her treatment and working with her to make sure she was comfortable and her needs were taken care of. He also kept in touch with me so I was informed as well. Not only is my Mom grateful so is my family. Mark is an asset to your organization and we thank him very much. Joe also was wonderful to my Mom and we wanted to make sure that you know how much we appreciate everything that they did. Thank you.

For as long as I could remember, my father has had medical issues, both minor and major. We've had our fair share of hospital of experiences. To say that the care here at Bayshore is absolutely wonderful is an understatement. It's a relief knowing that my father is receiving the best care possible. Mark Morrison, his team, and the entire staff on 4 West have gone above and beyond to make sure he is taken care of as well as myself and my mother. Patients are important to them and they make it personal. The interactions are genuine and extremely professional. Thank you for helping make a stressful situation into something easier to deal with.
