Thank you so much Wanda!! The front desk staff is amazing and friendly. Coming from Canada I was apprehensive about what resort to choose for my daughter and I. But Wanda and the other front desk staff made us laugh and feel comfortable. They were so helpful and accommodating and willing to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back here again!! Thanks for making a great first impression for us ladies, for making us laugh and making us feel at ease about the choice in hotel we made!

Great location. Never had housekeeping show up so room did not get cleaned. TV would not work but the maintenance man was so nice and quick to fix it. Lady at check-in was so rude but the lady at check out was fantastic.

Beautiful scenery from our room!! Amazing room service and clean rooms! We stayed for 2 weeks and I would LOVE to visit again! And the resort is directly on the beach!!! It was simply amazing!

Awesome suites!! We had a 3 bedroom suite and it was absolutely awesome!!!

First, they have a small unloading area which causes huge back ups with traffic. You really couldn't tell who was trying to unload or go down the street. 2nd, the closes parking beside their building, YOU MUST PAY. 3rd, their parking area for the hotel was 2 STREETS OVER. Their parking garage has 5 floors right, tell me why the 1st and 3rd floor was RESERVED FOR VALET PARKING . They charged 12-15 dollars everyday to have a valet park! 4th, they didnt have any carts to push your luggage from the parking areas. Which I didn't understand bc we were 2 streets over. I, also saw how the employees had to push the laundry cart across the 2 streets. Yes, I saw them push and pull laundry back. Towels were falling in the street and through the walk way. This isn't even the worse part. This hotel needs to tell you what is located across the street. I believe this would humble the prices. I have went to the beach several times but, I HAVE NEVER SEEN CRACKHEADS,JUNKIES AND HOMELESS PEOPLE! Which, is located DIRECTLY across the street. This is probably bc several sleazy hotels are across the street. I promise y'all that staying here is like paying to VACATION IN THE HOOD! NEVER AGAIN! The employees were nice though, all of them that I had ran across.

I would live in that resort of I could awesome view & things to do there ..

Great place to stay on beach vacation. Walking distance from attractions and friendly staff.

Sink clogged. Bathroom fan doesn't work. No toilet paper in room. Staff wouldn't bring up toilet paper. I walked down for it myself. Then they provided a discount after complaining. Strict policy you cannot be 1 minute in room after 11 am checkout time. Bed has a protruding metal bar with sharp edges extending out from the bed that can dangerously snag an ankle. Management knows about it but nothing done to this point. Hotel is on the beach. Close to everything.

We pulled up and just said "excuse me, sir...where can we park?" "Check in is at 3pm!" Clearly, we are aware of that, just simply wanted to park our vehicle. Bianca, who worked at the desk, assured us that she would make our stay a good one, and I thought she was great, but it didn't end there...they said they would call us when our room was available,we never received a call. We went in around 245pm, we were told we were awaiting for someone to inspect the room...when we arrived in the room, there were still sunflower seeds on balcony and the glass doors on balcony were dirty. The remote in our room didn't have batteries. We requested more and the representative at the desk said his maintenance team was on break.They also said we would receive an ocean view room...but we would need to look over the balcony while someone held your shirt in order to see ocean view. We will not be staying at the Bay View Resort again.

First time at Bayview Resort ..customer service was great! My coworkers and I drove down for a overnight vacation stayed in a very nice room OF suite. Had a really great time. Will be going back soon!!

I been coming 2 Bayview resort scene they 1st open n I hade the worst experience ever first of all our room was dirty we hade a 3bedroom condo n also the stove was dirty n the vents was dripping water in the rooms called front desk took them the next day 2 come n still did not fix the problem n on top of that my n laws stay on the 7th floor room 703 n the bed was fill with bed bugs n my niece got bitten n they hade them staying n the same room another night did not change the mattress they kept the same ones n there the bed bugs hade came n their living room on the couch n my nephew got bitten all up so the next day they finally change their room but for all who go to Bayview resort check your beds n let out couch real good because they dnt clean good they have gotten nasty over the last few years I have came n I dnt think I will not return

I enjoyed my birthday weekend there. The only thing that I will say is they need better house keepers. The staff at the front desk are super friendly!

Had a nice stay. Here and the suit is roomy with two tv's. It could use a little updating as the room was well used for the price

We had an ocean front suite. The room was very nice upon first glance. We had hot water. The view of the ocean was amazing. However, we ran across a few issues. First, upon walking into the suite, there was a hole in the wall at the entrance and there was a maintenance guy in the room (unsure about what was fixed). Second, there was hair in the bathroom, specifically in the corner and on the walls and the mirrors weren't clean. Third, some of the dishes weren't clean. Fourth, there were hard clumps of detergent powder in one of the compartments. Lastly, we found condom wrappers in the pull-out couch. Other than those minor issues that could be fixed with proper supervision, everything was fine.

Parking is far off and the rooms are smaller than expected!!

This hotel, is a great deal, me and my family stayed here for a week, the room is pretty nice, and the view from the 11th floor ocean side is stunning. Room was pretty clean, not a 5 star hotel by far, but tolerable. The issues are elevators have at least 20 to 30 min wait and 15min travel from 11th floor to lobby, And are heavily water damaged. But looking past that, still worth the medium price point. I would stay here again, and do recommend it.

Checked in on Friday and obvious the roaches checked in right behind me because they were everywhere in my room!!! Woke up to no running water on Saturday and no working elevators. I had to take the steps to the 16th floor!!! Notified the front desk of my unwanted friends (Roaches)and a toilet that was leaking so bad l had to put towels down no one ever came to spray my room like they promised. I wont EVER go back!!!

We stayed at this hotel for one night in August 2018 and all ended up getting bitten up by bedbugs. The staff didn t help us find another hotel and I had trouble getting my money back. It was only until after I talked to the general manager that I got my money back. We had to find our own hotel which ended up being far north of this one. Stay away from this place.

Paid a premium price for an oceanfront king room. The room was so small there was not enough room to walk around the bed. Way overpriced for my first room. I did get an upgrade to a one bedroom condo, much bigger but the bedroom had on AC vent so the room was very warm. Way over priced!!!!!!

We stayed here for a week and it was awesome! I loved the free movie rentals. And the indoor pool, lazy river and hot tub were great because it rained most of the time we were there! Lol. Will definitely be staying again!

I don t normally leave reviews but I had to leave a review about this horrible place. I was just here from and this was the worst place j have ever stayed at Myrtle Beach and I come to the beach every year. We stayed in the one bedroom oceanfront suite on the 19th floor and the first night there I woke up around 4am to find 3 roaches crawling inside the bedroom up the walls. I then proceeded to walk out the room to find two more in the kitchen. On top of that me and the rest of my suite mates along with 4 other people ended up getting stuck in the elevator with a small child with us and it was scorching hot in there. We called the front desk for assistance and she said the Fire truck was on the way and proceeded to hang up without making sure everyone was ok, she did not try to comfort anyone and keep anyone calm. Lastly, during checkout we waited 90mins for a elevator and it still never came so we had to carry all our bags down 19 flight of stairs. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone for a vacation. The only good thing I can say was check in was pretty fast and easy and the view was GORGEOUS.

Worst experience with a hotel. They provided false advertising online for the hotel we booked. When we arrived they refused to admit it. They could not provide any accommodation for us to have a room to stay for the week. We did check out the room and it was filthy. It was a huge hassle getting a refund from them. Would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

They allowed us to play shuffleboard at a very late time, they also have great staff.

Room rates online different from on site walk in, and parking garage, though free, was all the way across the next block. We got a really good ocean front room though as a free upgrade ; the living room had two comfortable recliners and the kitchen had most of the basic equipment. The (4) elevators took such a long time to go up and down though and there would be a lot stuck waiting with luggages. Indoor lazy river and pool /hot tub were okay but needs frequent cleaning since there was sand everywhere. I think we could get a better hotel next time for the amount we paid (5 days).

everything was great from the location its at and the price. Only reason why I didn't give the 5 star was because we had to wait for an hour and a half before the room was ready, other then that it was a nice stay.

Place just needs some updates to maybe the furniture of the curtains. Very nice staff and very convenient place to stay by the beach

I was visiting some family friends here. The room wasn't bad but a little small. It had two patios, one facing Ocean Blvd and one facing construction next door. Beach access was easy to get to.

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. Rooms are absolutely filthy. We found two dead cockroaches on the floor the second night we were there. The hotel staff that we dealt with while there were very rude. While waiting in line to speak with front desk, I had to listen to a conversation about how "this job is ok, but the tourists get annoying after awhile". The pool area was always so packed and out of control that we weren't able to take our 3 and 4 year-olds. I couldn't take my kids to the splash pad out back because people were spitting and throwing items off of the balconies. Please, save your money and find a better hotel. We will absolutely not be back to this one!!

Generally nice but It was still kind of dirty, The key cards had a habit of not working.... whether or not it was near phones and debit cards and housekeeping kept forgetting to bring a blanket I asked for 4 times

Great oceanview room at an unbeatable price. There's an indoor lazy river, pool, and hot tub. There's also a Starbucks downstairs. What more could one ask for?

Absolutely one of the best experiences ive had when i stayed here a couple years back good service and kept very clean at moderate prices every room has a great view (mine facing out towards the ocean) and each room has a kitchen that includes a stove and dish washer also each room has a washer and dryer and getting to the ocean is as simple as stepping out the back of the hotel whenever i decide to go back to Myrtle Beach this will definitely be the hotel i book again

Waaaaay too crowded. Checking in is a hassle due to them not having a proper parking lot connected to the hotel. The parking lot is across the street . Then u have these vacation advertisers telling you all this bitter sweet info about how they can get u a good deal on all u can eat Seafood......... be careful with them.

It is okay complementary breakfast and nicer staff will make it 5

I never stayed here, It's beautiful and we watched it being built. Seems to be awesome.

Our room was not clean. We found a used sex toy under the mattress. Hair was on the sheets, towels, and tub. It was obvious that housekeeping had not cleaned thoroughly.

The clerks were super nice and very helpful but the rooms were not very nice at all. The air did not work in the bedroom.

Day 1our reservation for a specific room was not honored, the phone in the room didn t work, there was no power in the bedroom, the keypad didn t work, and the power in bathroom went out after taking the loudest shower ever due to what sounded like pipes rattling. Day 3 the dryer didn t work and we began to notice roaches. Day 4 we were given a welcome packet (WOW). This was suppose to be a non smoking resort, however on the balcony everyday we smelled marijuana smoke and cigarettes. The elevator was slow and at times there was debris.

Beyond Horrible, normally Great.

I normally always stay at Bayview, and this time invited my family to stay as well for a long over due beach trip. There were fights breaking out in the elevator to the point someone ear was cut just about off, blood everywhere, even until the next morning. Random ppl coming inside the hotel starting fights with guest. Even late night, I guess they tried controlling the crowd, and monitoring who was going in and out but the right side door was still unlock so anyone could walk in without an key. My family was terrified to leave their room even with the police sitting right out front. These random ppl would intentionally get on the elevator and hold it and try to fight anyone who said anything. I also booked for a cheap cost, which came with the Starbucks special. I even called reservations who confirmed it. Then when I arrived, I was told I didn t have it.

Stayed again.. and had another horrible experience. The AC didn t work, the sink an tub was clogged, the refrigerator wouldn t get cold, and I could go on and on again.

This starbucks is belongs to this resort. Worst bathroom 5 blocks away and Nasty and Super Tiny.

My family and I had a great time here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. However be aware that ALOT of people all try to check on Sunday morning. That was a little crazy! I still would go back in a heartbeat.

This resort is great! The Boardwalk behind the resort was wonderful to walk. Everyone who worked at the resort was super nice. The room was awesome. I will return here.

This was the worst vacation me and my family ever had!! Stay far away from here is you want to enjoy yourself. We drove 3 and a half hours just to be told our room that had been reserved was not available at check in time and they were not sure when it would be available. So we had to go find something to do all the while we were sweaty, hungry and really aggravated. So we went to sight see a little bit for 2 and a half to 3 hours only to return and our room still was not available. So after having to become irrate and asking for the manager a room finally was available. Also they were many other people who had to wait around on there rooms as well!!! So we basically paid for a whole day that we just lost and was wasted because our room was not available. Room had a great view but was not so clean!! They need to work on a lot of things here. One thing I know for sure is me and my family will not go back!! So future vacationers BEWARE!!

The beach is in walking distance. Friendly staff, nice rooms and I was surprised at how cheap the room was.

The front desk area provides DVDs to watch during your stay. Not unlike every other hotel, they try their best to hide the "Resort Fee" or whatever it is called until you're at the front desk checking in. The pool area was filled with kids so we didn't want to go swimming. But it is right on the ocean which was nice. And, free soap!!!

We are visiting bayview resort in late March and so far our experience has been quite enjoyable. First off the pricing has been amazing we were able to get a 2 room suite for around 200 a night. We suspect this is because we went during Myrtle Beach's off season but either way, it makes our stay a whole lot nicer. The location is pretty nice too, there are lots of restaurants to walk to and plenty of local events to visit (and of course, it's on the beach). The only complaint we have about the location is that there is quite a lot of noise on the main Street and plenty of drunkards in the night as well. That is to be expected on a beach though, so we do not mind it all that much. Our room is very nice (because it's a two room suite). It has the qualtiy of a normal hotel but instead of being a small room, its a like a small one story house. It has a nice kitchen, a dryer and a washer, two rooms, two bathrooms, a dining area and a living room and a balcony. Very nice. Only complaint I have about the room is that the quality of the room is still like a normal hotel and that could be improved. We haven't visited the pool yet but it looks very fun with a small lazy river a normal pool and a jacoozy. The beach is really nice as well. Great experience.

Very beautiful and everyone was friendly and helpful

I stayed here the last weekend in july 2017. I read reviews on this place and really took them into consideration. Yes, almost every place has some bad reviews(you cannot please everyone) but we was very pleased with Bay View Resorts. The beds were smaller than what we thought. They sure didn't look like a queen size, maybe they were just full. I'm not sure but by the end of the day we was so tired, we didn't care what the bed was like, we slept like babies. The only complaint that we had was our bathroom. you could see mold starting to develop on the floor and I told the house cleaning lady about it but she didn't really say anything. I don't think she spoke English. The floor stayed wet in the bathroom but we never could find the leak. I noticed the walls and floor was drenched in water right after you took a bath or shower. Needless to say we kept towels on the bathroom floor for when we had to walk in there. I did hear 2 people in the elevator talking about how they got a room on the side where they are doing construction next door to the hotel, but we never had any issues with it. we couldn't hear it and we was three bedrooms aways from the construction side. The front desk receptionist was very nice and very helpful!! couldn't ask for anyone better!! but overall we was pleased, cant complain about a lot. Will we come back and stay again at Bay View? I'm really not sure, I think we will take our chances on another place until we find that "PERFECT" place.
