Another scam on 20 december 2018 I came and on fone Brandon said they have hondai for sale and just talked on fone and when I showed up Kevin said we sold out this car two weeks ago. And tried to sell other cars so all B.SB.S.

I was really nervous about making such a big transaction, but I have to say that my overall experience was a breeze! My car dealer, Julio Perez, was extremely courteous, professional, and detail oriented. Thank you, Julio, for your kindness and patience. Kudos to everyone at BR Hyundai ~ everyone was welcoming and professional. If I had to recommend a car dealership, this woud be the one. I am now a proud owner of a beautiful 2014 Hyundai Elantra!!

I had a wonderful experience with the Bay Ridge Hyundai workers. There was minor issues with the vehicle. The manager Camille was very attentive. Camille took the time to get the issues resolved. The manager Tabitha is very nice and was very helpful as well. The whole bay ridge team is wonderful. I would recommend anyone to the dealership. This dealership is very hands on with their customers. To make sure their customer needs are meet and their happy.

My experience at Bay Ridge Hyundai was excellent. You are greeted with such friendly smiles upon entering. I am not an easy customer and not once did they make me feel like if my concerns or worries were not important. Trust me what I put them through they should have kicked me out instead, hey catered to me and made sure that I got exactly the car I ordered. I definitely will be returning to Bay Ridge Hyundai for my next vehicle and I hope to work with those who helped make me a happy customer. Elsie thank you for showing us how to use our new toy. Yodel thanks for working your magic with them numbers and Christopher thank you for dealing with such a hard customer. I would also like to thank Shawn for being so caring and understanding me even when I caught a tantrum. Thanks for making it work for me guys. My kids and I are now modern and at a reasonable price. See you guys in about 2 years!!! And It would be a pleasure to work with all you guys again.

I just bought a car from Bay Ridge Hyundai yesterday. The entire staff was beyond accommodating. My sales representative JC was a pleasure to work with! He treated us as if we were his only clients there. He was patient when dealing with us and made sure that we came to an agreement and price that worked for all of us. Camille was also beyond helpful and had such wonderful customer service. I will definitely be referring others to this dealership

I went here to buy a CPO (certified pre-owned) Hyundai Sonata which had been listed on the dealership's Web site. To my dismay, the vehicle had extensive body damage on on the rear right-hand side! None of this damage showed in the vehicle photos from the site. Apparently, those photos had been taken before the damage was caused, and Bay Ridge Hyundai never bothered to update the photos.

What bothers me most is that the manager, Asante Clark, didn't disclose the body damage upfront in my dialogue with her before I came to the dealership. She claimed that the vehicle was in "great condition". If Asante's idea of "great condition" is deep, long scratches and dents in the car body, I'd hate to see what bad condition is!

To add to my dismay, the front tires of the vehicle had little to no tread remaining. I don't see how this car could be advertised as "certified". By law, any certified pre-owned vehicle has to have a minimum amount of tread remaining on the tires. The vehicle Bay Ridge Hyundai wanted to sell me had such little tread remaining that it wasn't safe to drive!

Really good place to buy a car. I bought a pre-owned 2015 Mazda 3, I got a really good deal and the staff is really amazing. They took care of me and really funny outgoing staff. I would recommend anyone to come here and see Mohammed Fardos. He will do whatever it takes to earn your business. He's really respectful and knows what hes talking about. I had a great experience purchasing my new 2019 Hyundai Veloster. The vehicle is fun to drive and it's beautiful. My sister and brother came initially to set everything up for me they left a deposit to get the ball rolling and a day later I'm driving away my new car. The overall atmosphere of the place was very welcoming and our salesman Neil made it fun from start to finish. Everyone was great and I am satisfied. I definitely recommend this dealership.

This review is a MUST READ!!! I saw a hyundai tuscan online for 16000.
I went in to check out the vehicle. I met with a sales rep who informed me that i can also turn in my car for a discount. after 2 hours of talking we agreed on a price. He asked how i was going to pay. I told him cash and check.. I was going to buy the car out rite. He said can you finance instead. I said i would prefer not to. He said if you do- we can get a referral fee from the bank of 1500 which would increase our profit margin.
I said if this would help you then why not. I told him that i would not get approved because i have no credit history. they said lets try anyway. ofcourse i didnt get approved so the next step was to buy the car. i went to the bank got a check and went. when i got there they said they cant sell me the car at that price 16000 because it was too low. and they needed that bank kick back of 1500. then they said since you didnt get approved can you give us the 1500. WHAT??!!! not only is this a shake down for more money its unethical business. They discriminated against me for not being able to get a finance package. I didnt need to finance in the first place. this type of business ethics must stop. folks i brought the entire amount for the car and left without a car. I have filed several complaints today with different agencies. Dont go here. I was mistreated and it will happen to you. what did this world come to. I had the money for the car and still it wasnt good enough..

LOL this owner is full of it. i did call yesterday to sort this out and no one called back... its just like the reviews. they dont care. dont go here...

Good place to buy a car, but check all the papers when signing. They can told you one thing and put something different on the papers you are signing.

Last year I went to buy a Veloster 2012 with low mileages at a good price. I had a good experience with the seller, very friendly. I thing his name was Juan.

Only thing I didn t like, and very important was that during signing, the guy at the office(not the seller) lied to me.
He told me that I needed to pay ( $4,000) for 3 years of warranty because the bank needed it. He said that the car was 9,000 plus $4,000 for the warranty, a total of around $13,000.

I didn t check in details all my charges I just checked for the total that he told it was going to be, and I signed.

Weeks laters I was checking the receipt because I was planning to cancel the warranty and I noticed that the warranty actually was $2,500 and they sold me the car for more than $10,000.

I know it was my fault for not checking in details all the papers when signing, but I didn t like that they sold me a car for a higher price that I agreed to pay.

I never ever had such a nasty experience in my entire life, he treated me as if I work under him! He is so arrogant and has no quality to be a manager. Where do I start! My sales person was Kevin I was referred to him by a friend and I can see why he has such good reviews and a following of clients behind him. He took great care of me and gave me his full attention, after we finished and I was waiting for my paperwork another appointment of his came in and he still kept passing by me asking if I was good or if I would like coffee. I ve been to a lot of dealerships in the past this kid looks like her runs the place very well dressed and manored. Purchase a new 2016 Hyundai Tuscon and was thoroughly pleased with the dealership and their customer service. This was my first car and I wanted to make sure that I was dealing with people who were trying to help me walk out with a car and not make me feel pressured or as if I am being cheated. Bay Ridge Hyundai was exactly what I was looking for I knew what I wanted had done my research and came in ready to leave with a car that day and although it took a while i was in at 10 AM and left with car at 5 PM... I am more that satisfied with my purchase and with my experience. Gary was an awesome dealer! Will definitely come here again should I decide to purchase another Hyundai....

They have no respect for customers. First, we went there and the guy treated us very inappropriately. He was so discouraging and rude.
Then, their manager called us and invited for a test drive and an amazon gift card. He wasn't rude and tried to be collaborative but gave us an old Sonata for test drive and also a very expressive quote on the car which was unbelievable. Lastly, he said that he would give us a gift card within few days but after a month or so it hasn't happened yet. They are LIARS!
I hate Hyundai and will never go to its dealerships!!

Had a great experience shopping for a car at this dealership. David was very professional and worked with us to get an amazing deal on a 2020 Sonata SEL plus. David helped making every step of purchasing a car seamless, and took time at the end to show us every detail and feature of the car. The financial manager, Raza was super helpful in going over the contracts and warranty information. Both gentlemen are very social and really easy to work with. If you are thinking about getting a new car from Bay Ridge Hyundai I recommend these two guys!

I drove out to Bay Ridge Brooklyn to take a look at a car that was posted online. First, let me tell you an important lesson I learned. Always make sure you talk to the dealership before you drive an hour out and make sure the car is at the location. With that said I knew what I wanted and the car that was listed matched my needs. I began negotiating a deal without even seeing the car.

A relationship is built on trust and buying a car is no different. I can honestly say that this dealership has earned my trust. I challenged everything including the words that Pietro my sales rep was saying to me. It all checked out in the end and ultimately I went through with the purchase.

The general manager gave me his word that the car would be ready the next day, it would have a bow, and it would be delivered to Yonkers as it was a gift to my girlfriend. The entire team from the sales rep, to the finance guy, to the General Manager all delivered on their promises. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for more than just a car.

Theyre great!! This was my fifth Hyundai dealer looking for a 2017 Elantra in white. Although they didn't have the white exterior that I wanted, they understood that I was going crazy looking for a white one, and decided to give me a great deal on a 2017 Elantra Limited in red. I've now grown to love the red and the beautiful leather interior!! Would recommend them 100%, Sam and Camille were the two that helped me and they are awesome and understanding.

After driving close to 100 miles one way to purchase a specific vehicle, The owner admitted to me tonight that the internet sale prices are NOT the actual prices of vehicles. I verified 2 times prior to my arrival to be sure I did not waste my time... nope.... complete waste of time. They wanted to charge me an additional $3000 for a vehicle certification. This certification was already completed by a prior dealership at the same odometer reading as on the carfax. I specifically asked about certification fees and I was told no, no problem. Why was that certification cost not added to the car guru price, I asked??? Response.... yes, I agree... sorry, I don t know why ... then my response was- but aren t you are the Manager/Owner if this dealership??? His response??? Ummmm I understand and on top of that, and they offered me $2500 LESS than what 2 other dealerships on my trade-in.
I ve been shopping for a few weeks. I did my homework. They had the vehicle I wanted at the price that brought me in. I was planning to buy it. They lied about the cost and admitted it. Sad... I would have negotiated with them but this was ridiculous. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! RUN AWAY!!!! Nothing they can say would change their unscrupulous business practices. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE... MOVE ON. GOOD LUCK.

I have never left a bad review for anything. I consider myself to be a reasonably understanding person when it comes to customer service being that I have worked in customer service for many years. I usually just brush things off if I feel that I wasn't given proper service. So, when I say that I have experienced the worst customer service in my life from this establishment I truly mean it.
I bought a car here in late March. I left the dealership feeling good about my experience and the purchase that I made. I even went as far as leaving a very nice 5 star review.
The night that I drove my car home, I noticed a small crack was forming on my windshield starting from just under the right windshield wiper. I was bummed about it since I didn't notice it before i bought the car. Because I purchased a warranty, I wanted to give Brain Carroll (the finance manager) a call to see if this was covered. Before I left the dealership he was very kind and gave me his card and told me to call him if I needed anything. Munir the salesman that helped me out that day also told me the same thing. I called the dealership the next day and this is where this experience becomes hellish. I was immediately greeted with an automated voice saying "this call may be recorded" and then a few rings and another voice saying "this call may be recorded" and then ANOTHER voice saying (you guessed it "this call may be recorded" after sitting through 4 different automated messages you finally get a ring tone long enough that makes you feel like you're getting somewhere. And then the line picks up and on the other end it sounds as if whoever just picked up the phone is in the midst of a crowded house party and through the static and loud voices screams, in a voice that can only be described as sarcastic and condescending, "ITS A BEAUTIFUL DAY AT BAY RIDGE HYUNDAI HOW MAY I ASSIST YOU!!!" to which I reply with the issue at hand and ask to speak to either my salesman Munir or the finance manager Brian Carroll. They tell me that they will transfer me to the correct department and the line cuts out and starts to ring. After ringing for about a minute the call gets disconnected. I cannot even recall how many times I have gone through this exact scenario over the course of the last month, calling several times a day every few days and getting the same run around. A few of the people that I spoke to were the absolute rudest and I could even hear some laughing at me on the other end. A few times, I was transferred and then greeted once again by the same person that transferred me in the first place. In my most recent experience the man told me he would transfer me and when the call finally transferred I was somehow speaking to someone at a completely different car dealership with no affiliation to Bay Ridge Hyundai in any way. I was also reminded countless times by the multiple robots that pop in during one phone call that these call may have been recorded... I'd love for these recordings to actually be used to teach these phone operators how to do their jobs correctly.
It's 2019 and somehow this car dealership can't seem figure out phones???

It s been just over a month and I still have yet to speak to the men that I have been trying to contact and instead spent wasted energy and time speaking to a bunch of waste of space corporate pranksters.

Throughout this process, Nicholas was genuine and professional from the very first encounter. His demeanor made a stressful situation a pleasant one with the concerns of what was best for me and the near future. Nicholas was patient with answering all my questions and assisting with the paperwork, I didn't feel pressured or felt that I made a bad choice. While being respectful of the requirements I set through to the final signatures for this purchase, I don't believe I would've had a better experience from anywhere else.

this is the worst dealership in the world!!!!!! i got there and had to wait for half an hour for a salesperson to come and assist me. (KEEP IN MIND THAT A WOMAN MUST HAVE PASSED BY ME AT LEAST 5 TIMES AND IGNORED ME, AND TURNED OUT TO BE THE MANAGER!!! WTFFFF!!!) and after the salesman showed up, he sat down and started interrogating me about my best deal and what is it that i consider a good deal. i told him" is this an interrogation? i don't know hyundai's and i'm here to get prices and test drive the car, otherwise i'll go to a leasing agency." when i told him about the leasing agency he said " ohhh so you are coming here just to test drive here, and go there to buy it?" .... i asked him for a test drive and instead of awarding my request, he called his manager (the woman who passed by me 7000 times) ,who came and tried to steer me in a different direction. i was looking at the santa fe and she steered me to the tucson. very unprofessional. they never asked about my budget i only told them what deals i got at toyota and volkswagon, but they immediately assumed that i am telling them that i wanted the same price. what a shame!!!!!!!! my budget was actually about $450/mo. for a santa fe lease but the salesman made up his own assumptions. poor sales skills and terrible management and if there is anything i could say about this place is to not even visit it. the market is loaded with deals! vw has better volvo has better lexus has better and almost every other brand has better.
if the sales team was any better then they would not fear any leasing agency, because a leasing agency gets their cars from the dealership itself. when i told the volkswagon salesman that i can go to a leasing agency, he looked me in the eye and said " i don't care where you go, you still wont beat my price" and he was actually right! he came in cheaper!
shame shame shame!!!!!! even though a hyundai will always be a hyundai but the santa fe is a nicely built suv (only based on looks! i was never awarded a test drive!!!!!).
i should have been awarded a test drive because even if i went to a leasing agency i could have still bought a huyndai!!! but now that i didnt get the test drive , then i am better off with another brand!

tips to when you go to a dealer!
*never tell them your price! let them tell you theirs!
and that is what happened with me! they thought i was the regular sheep that goes in to their building but i was not, and they couldn't react quick enough so they panicked because they lack experience!
*They assumed prices and budgets!
*They never awarded the test drive!
*They had me waiting for half an hour
*They steered me on to a different car which wasn't even attractive
*They were only looking for a quick commission! they asked me for a my prices that i got, to either tell me to leave or stay!

*DON'T GO TO BAY RIDGE HYUNDAI TO LEASE A CAR!!!! GO TO A LEASING AGENCY IT IS CHEAPER!!!!

Absolutely horrible dealership, if it was possible to give 0 stars i would. The workers and managers don't even know what's going on in the company. Spoke to Yaharja on Wednesday and she said she couldn't help but would have the "manager" call me back that same day... Wednesday came and went no phone call. Called on Thursday apparently she wasn't in but would call me back... yeah no phone call. Called back today and the front desk again said she wasn't in but would call me back. Funny thing is as she's taking my name and number down for the 3rd time I hear her mumble "Yaharja NO, don't pick up", when I confronted her she played stupid and denied ever saying it. Word of advice to management, hire new competent people or retrain them. Will never go back there again or do business with this dealership, will actually go out of my way to deter other people as well.

I have had a very bad experience. I call the dealership to make sure the numbers I get on their website (Personalized Payment Calculator) are right. I am told that they are, and that, also, they will waive my remaining payments on the leased car I already have. I drive an hour to make a deal, and the first thing sales rep tells me when I show him the printed payment calculator is that it s not going to happen! Then he starts to quote his manager that why it is not real; trying to deny the incentives, adding bank fee twice, saying that I have to pay the remaining payments or they just roll them into my monthly payments, etc. Long story short, I ask for their final offer, and that s more than two times the number I get on their website; compare $290 to $130. Don t bother wasting you time.

Horrible place of business. They issued a refund to the wrong person and will not correct their mistake. Insist that I want to create problems. For such a small amount of money they are willing to ruin their reputation. The "manager" is arrogant and nasty. They cannot even figure out how to add your car to a Hyundai account...took them 2 weeks they still could not do it so I did it myself in 10 minutes.

I did try to resolve the issue Lemo is extremely arrogant and nasty. The check in question was made payable to a person who bought a car...the description on the check had HER plate number and DMV refund.

I contacted BR Hyundai and spoke with Lulu H. She got the wheels turning and put it all together for me. She gave me step by step details for returning my lease and signing on to another Hyundai. This was all done via phone during this COVID-19 epidemic.
Upon arriving, I met Lulu in person. just as nice in person as on the phone. I then met with Rocco T who did my paperwork. Another friendly and informative person. WOW! How lucky was I to work with these two people during this uncertain time. They really took the time working out a VALUE deal for me, I would highly recommend reaching out to BR Hyundai ,if all their folks are like Lulu and Rocco, you can't go wrong! Thank you

I want to highlight that my 1ST visit here was definitely a 1-STAR experience! I have never in my life felt so RIDICULED.

After waiting about 2-3 HOURS to be attended to, we finally got to speak to someone who told my boyfriend and I some TEXTBOOK BULLS**T! All we waited for, called in advance for, is a simple test drive of the new Santa Fe. And this man, I believe his name is ANEIL, sat in front of our faces and acted out a "phone call" with the driver who was supposedly on their way with the car. SUPPOSEDLY his driver got into an accident on his way to us. All we could do was suppress our laughter at this off-Broadway wannabe salesman. My boyfriend and I kept our composure, decided not to make a scene and simply handle it through the power of reviews.

I don't even know where to start!! When I first arrived I was met by Sal, the used car salesmen. This guy was made to sell cars!! He's super knowledgable about cars, their parts and technology. I informed Sal that I was there to see Apple (Internet Sales) whom I had spoke with several times before that. Apple is even more delightful when you meet!! Amazing customer service and such a beautiful attitude. Thank You Apple!! She introduced me to Chris and everything went all the way up from there!!! You have no idea the day we had, I spend about 8 hours with Chris to make this deal happen. Chris was upfront and honest about things. He was helpful, patient, and understanding during the whole process. We looked at numbers between the genesis and sonata. I chose to go with the Sonata, with a $0 down lease agreement. Before we dealt with running credit, Chris assured me that he would get me some ball park figures on monthly payments. He kept his word and many salesmen don't do that. My experience was more service oriented than car buying. I really appreciated that. Who could ask for more? It gets better though. There were no more new Sonata cars on the lot at the moment. Chris offered to take me in his personal vehicle to their lot full of new 2016-2017 cars about a 20 minute drive from the dealership. As soon as we reached the parking lot, the rain came down like no other. It stormed for the entire time we was in the parking lot. BTW, the parking lot was an outside parking lot with no shelter. Chris asked me which car did I like and we saw several cars before returning back to his car. I told Chris which car I wanted, with the options it offered and he went to get. Chris went beyond the customer service experience with me and stepped out of his car in pouring rain to get me the specific vehicle that I wanted with the same color and better options. He was actually able to get me a better sonata sport model with partial leather interior, sun roof, and other options for an extra $12 per month. Chris was amazing. Chris, I don't know how to thank you enough brother, I really appreciate you from the bottom of my heart. After returning to the dealership with the car, Chris was able to pair up with Paulino (Manager) to make the deal happen. There were a few bumps in the road but, Chris and Paulino were persistent about getting me to drive home and not taking the train. Chris was an advocate for me and wanted to nothing but the best for me in this deal. I would recommend anyone to stop by and see whats available for you. They will work for you here!!! And of course, Yahaira! Thank you for setting up my car for me, you were delightful and helpful. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all guys!!!

i went there today wondering about the 2017 elantra ECO TURBO
BUT there do not have the ECO TURBO
because of that she almost did not recognize the ECO TUBO
of course because she did not have it in the first place
i asked her for the elantra 1.6 L about the fuel consumption she to told me for sure that it consume 29 MPG that was for sure
but when i asked her about the ECO TURBO because she does not have it on stuck
i told her it consume 32 MPG much better than the regular elantra
she told me that this is just number and it is not for real that it consume
32 MPG it consume 29 MPG
she is such a layer i did not like this
she does not know that i did my research on that

If possible, would have given a ZERO STARS, just because of the the unprofessional Manager Named "A Z A M", seriously like how the hell did they even make him a manager there, he shouldn't even be kept there as lot attendant. He surely doesn't know customer service, and definitely dose not want the owner of the business to make money or have customers coming back. I really wish his general manager was present. AZAM is the worst guy you can deal with, and will definitely suggest everyone not to go there, or buy anything from there, the staff was unprofessional, but they guy who helped me with nothing, kevin, was still better then Azam.
