Salesman Chris is a great person to work with. He s very patient, and takes the time to explain anything you may have an answer to. My day started out horrible when I went to another dealership and it didn t work out. Chris from bay ridge Hyundai was able to help me and fulfilled all my needs. He made my experience absolutely great! I would recommend this location for anyone who needs help and needs a person who is very knowledgeable and patient. He made me feel very welcome and I will return to this location when buying another car. I left with a beautiful vehicle.

I walked into here knowing i had credit issues figuring i couldn't get a deal on a used vehicle. I went to other places and they told me i couldn't get a deal from the banks to get a car. I walked in and spoke to the salesman Chris and between him and brian they were able to find me a vehicle and it was affordable to me. If it weren't for them I wouldn't be able to own a car. Just want to say that Bay Ridge Hyundai is an amazing dealership. I leased a Elantra today from them and they blew everyone else s prices out of the water. I made the deal over the phone with Lulu thinking it was too good to be true, and when I showed up I got the same deal discussed. No crazy bait and switch sales tactics here. It was a pleasure dealing with all the staff, and I would recommend them too any friends and family. Thanks again for the great experience!

Wish I could give less than one star. We leased a car from Bay Ridge Hyundai in September 2017. When we picked it up the car had a small, but noticeable scratch. The staff asked us to take it as is and promised to order the touch up paint and repair it in a timely fashion. Since everything had gone so well to this point we agreed. However as this year progressed, they never made good on their promise. Each time we inquired we were given another excuse, most incredibly that they didn't make the paint for this model. We spoke to the sales manager, who promised to look into it. After we spoke to him, and he did nothing, he refused to take my calls, call me back, or answer my emails. I contacted Hyundai corporate and they put in a call to him. His response to corporate was that he wouldn't provide the paint because "it would cost him money". Hyundai corporate continued to work with me, but apparently Bay Ridge Hyundai was unresponsive to them too, lying and saying that I would be contacted. Finally this was resolved by Corporate arranging to mail me a tube of touch up paint, which I can either apply myself or pay my own mechanic to do. My advice to any consumer, NEVER deal with this place. They will be nice when you want to buy or lease from them. But if there is a problem, they lie, ignore you, and leave you to deal with it on your own.

I am so thankful for the staff at Hyundai they really took customer service to a new level. From the moment we walked in we were greated with smiles and our sales person Chris Velez was amazing. They took there time and made sure this was the best decision for us and it was, I love my Elantra! Thanks also to the finance maneger Brian Carroll for also taking the time to give us all the options possible on our purchase and he made sure it work. Thanks again Bay Ridge Hyundai!!!

I had an appointment to go see a car and when I got there they tell me the car went for service. They confirmed with me this same morning and I said yes that I would be there. The only thing they tell me was sorry like if that changes the fact I took an uber there for no reason. Very unprofessional.

I had been looking for a car for quite a while now...

I had been looking for a car for quite a while now and was looking at this Hyundai vs another. I looked at both their reviews and noticed their was a salesperson named Kevin crespo who had the most positive reviews so I made a appointment with him. Very professional, very sharp, very knowledgeable I am so glad I chose Kevin to assist me with my vehicle purchase everyone go ask for him!!!!

I contacted Bay Ridge Hyundai in concern of a popular incident (Radio Shark Fin) that happen with Hyundai Sonata's. The Radio Shark Fin comes off extremely easily. I literally was driving on the highway while it was raining and heard a loud drop on the back of my rear glass. I come out to see the entire radio fin gone. Me being the person I am, I instantly called the dealership and finally got a chance to speak with a representative.

She begins to tell me that the Sonata's only come with a warranty pertaining to stuff like engine and transmission repairs. Which is funny because the person who help me lease the car told me that the car had a bumper to bumper warranty. Which in my eyes should fix the shark fin. She proceeds to tell me she is going to look into it. I received no follow up/call back from them.

Now I have to look for other means of fixing this Shark Fin. I proceed to call down their phone to get in touch with someone who can help me.

VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely terrible, the car I made an appointment...

Absolutely terrible, the car I made an appointment to see was damaged on the drivers side doors (the blue 2017 elantra sport). I traveled about an hour to come see this car expecting it to look like the pictures which seemed it was in great condition, boy was I wrong. Went inside the car, tobacco crumbs in the center compartment and a used mask by the drivers side door compartment, what is going on at this place? Absolutely terrible experience, the sales consultants weren't even aware of any of this. Totally unprofessional. Don't waste your time going here unless its your last resort.

Went here the other week to check on a particular car. It was a 2013 Hyundai Elantra Sedan, it was a perfect for me since I longed for it since the day I saw it. It has so many features that I liked so I marked the day that I would get it and bring it home. so thanks Bay Ridge Hyundai for making my dream car a dream come come. You are indeed so awesome.

Let me tell you about the most awful and disappoin...

Let me tell you about the most awful and disappointing experience I had at that dealership. Came there around 12 noon on a Saturday about a 2016 Lexus that I saw online after sitting there for 2 hours they finally brought the car ,so I could test drive it .Okay no problem if it's a good car it worth the wait .Went for test drive everything was fine love the car. After sitting down with the salesman to do the paperwork the price change drastically .They try to put about $6,000 of different fees on top of the price. Around 6:30 p.m. finally came to an agreement at that point I was so tired I just wanted to get out of there and pay whatever they are asking. Salesman told me don't worry it's going to take another 15-20 minutes and you'll be out of here, you can start transferring all your stuff from your old car to the new car. Than they came out and ripped off the plates of my bumper and broke them because they couldn't get the screws off. Well I didn't care because I was leaving my old car there. At around 10 p.m the salesperson came out and tells me: I'm sorry we cannot sell you the car because the car don't have a title. And i have to take all my stuff and put back into my car and put the plates back onto the car. Plates that they destroyed and damaged my bumper. I even opened up a new insurance policy and called my wife and told her that she's getting a new present . Left that place exhausted and very mad don't recommend to nobody to go thru this experience .Stay away from this dealership they advertisement is fake when you go there they'll give you all kinds of fees and the car will cost much more than it's advertised. They advertise car at multiple website and they have no idea the car have no title on it. So unorganized wasted 10 hours for nothing.

They got me approved without a co-signer AND helped me get insurance! I needed a car asap as i am now commuting to work every day and am glad i cam to bay ridge hyundai. Munir was very professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

The perfect example of sleaziness. Passed from manager to manager without ever meeting the person we had an appointment with. Weren't able to make a deal but got called back in the next day with a promise of a more competitive offer. Their price was $20 higher than previously offered...by them. Interesting sales tactic. Also were given attitude when we tried to finally speak to the 'manager' who we had the appointment with both times but never got to meet.

Edit: Since writing this review I got a little worried I wasn't providing enough accountability so the manager at the core of 1/5 stars is Ahmad.

First time car buyer and I am so glad I went to Bay Ridge Hyundai. I experienced professionalism, courtesy and good salesmanship. The two people responsible for my trip being this way are Camille Ciauri and Sam Faraj.

Sam was the first one I met and helped me throughout the entire transaction. He helped me find the car I wanted and explained everything to me in plain English. He's a great salesman without being pushy at all. Plus, he helped me get a great price.

Camille also helped me feel at home when I was there. She was also very helpful and not pushy. She helped streamline the process and made me feel comfortable. She was also extremely helpful after the sale, keeping in touch with me while the process of registration was being completed. She kept me informed and always promptly responded to me in a very timely fashion. She's exceptional!

Overall, this is a wonderful place. If you're going to lease or buy a new car, I'd go here and ask for either of these two. Great people and great service.

My Experience with Bay Ridge Hyundai, was Absolutely Phenomenal! I have been a loyal Mercedes Benz Client with my last 3 cars.. I wanted the Genesis in 2014 But the car I wanted was not in my Budget... but I Absolutely love it. So the end of my lease came up.. and I said to my Husband I want to try the Genesis again..went to Bay Ridge.. we were greeted by a Wonderful Salesman named JC..a Phenomenal young man from beginning to end a Wonderful experience..the Customer service team was Excellant! Camille gave us Excellent Customer service!! After our total Experience. there was no doubt in my mine that now I'll be a loyal Hyundai Client! I Absolutely love my 2015 Genesis that we purchased.. there is no comparison with the 3 Mercedes Benz that we purchased Brand New to my 2015 Genesis!! I fell like I'm driving on a cloud!! Thank you my New Family at Bay Ridge Hyundai!!!!!

If I could I would give them a higher rating. The customer service was exemplary, Sales person Joseph Esposito worked, diligently, to get me the best deal possible; end result, I am now leasing a beautiful Elantra Limted.

The sales manager Ahmed, thoroughly explained the the papers that needed to be signed. And worked with me to help keep the payment in a range that I could afford, for the car the I wanted.

This is the second car that I have leased from Hyundai; and it's because of their excellent customer service; and their willingness to help you lease the car you want at a price you can afford.

Where do I begin?? First I have been watching this dealership for almost 6 months after deciding what car I wanted to purchase. So imagine my dismay after reading about the great customer service to walk into this dealership and have them treat me as though I was the mailman and not a customer purchasing a car. The receptionist was lukewarm and tired in her welcome. I had to walk to find a salesperson who tried to appear interested in making a sale only to show me 2 cars walk away to return the keys and leave me in their lot . No follow up , no card exchange, nothing. A sloth would have probably had more energy than this group of sales people. I will purchase a Hyundai it just won't be from here. Maybe I wasn't light enough , maybe they met their monthly quota or maybe they were just lazy whatever the case they lost a definite sale.

Munir's professionalism, patience and honesty was a breathe of fresh air. I've shopped around for months before I came to Bay Ridge Hyundai and was lucky enough to Have Munir help me get in to great lease on a 19 Tucson !! After repeatedly walking out of dealership after dealership with a bad taste in my mouth I nearly lost all hope in the industry as far as customer service. Munir worked very hard to make it as smooth as possible for me and even went to get the car himself as they were short staffed that day!! I was in and out in under two hours !! Thank you so much Munir and Bay Ridge Hyundai. Will definitely recommend !

I made an appointment with Asante. And they confirmed me that car is available. I went in the next day. This salesman with longer hair showed me the car and ran my credit. Guess what!!??? He came and he was like the car is sold but dont worry i have so many vehicles u can choose from
How the hack on earth people does that. If it was sold then why the f.... would you run my credit without letting me know that the car is sold??

Was in the market for a new car when I stumbled apon this delarship. Everyone is really nice and helpful spent about 4 hours there and it only felt like 30 minutes. Car salesmen Chirs Velez is great he made sure I left with the car i wanted. If you go there I would highly recommend dealing with him.

Bay Ridge Hyundai makes what is usually a stressful process, much easier. In sales, Rosa was helpful and friendly. I never felt pressured or fast talked into making a decision, rather Rosa was supportive and informative. Raza, in finance, was straightforward with options without hidden costs and worked his magic for a great finance rate. I am very satisfied with my experience at this dealership, as well as, the quality and price of the vehicle.

In the 2nd week of December I started shopping aro...

In the 2nd week of December I started shopping around for a new car for my son as his car lease was coming to an end the day before Christmas. We found what we were looking for at a competitive dealership to only get run arounds and screwed over last minute. On December 20th 2017 I ended up leaving that dealership angry and upset and decided to come to Bay Ridge Hyundai straight from there. This was the best decision I have made thus far. I was greeted right away by a wonderful staff. I explained to them my whole situation which was long and very stressful. Right from the start they told me they will help me and make this process fast and easy. They weren t kidding. The very next day on December 21st I picked up my sons new car. I cannot say enough good things about Camille Ciauri and Ahmad Hamdan. These 2 have been extremely helpful and courteous. They went above and beyond without any additional run arounds or sale pitches. They made this process easier then I ever expected. Thank you to Camille and Ahmad and the whole Bay Ridge Hyundai staff for everything you have done. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy healthy and prosperous New year!

I went there on Monday and everyone was amazing, welcoming, and friendly. Each of them provide the best customer service by explaining every little details. I was supposed to meet with Lulu weeks ago, but I kept changing the dates(which I felt horrible) she was so patient and understanding. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Sal (Sales dept) and Rohan ( Sales manager) they were both amazing and told me about my options and gave me great advice. They helped me get the lowest interest to buy a car and to lower my car insurance as well. They kept checking on me while I was waiting for the bank to respond. Then I met Raza (from finance dept), he got me some great deals/ options to lower my monthly payment. I asked him so many questions about cars (sorry) and he answered all my questions in a way that I could understanding. I am not sure what happened to that place now compare to 3-2 years ago but this current staff provides an excellent and outstanding service without pressuring me. Thank you guys for everything!!

After the dealership was caught in the scam the Manager Joseph Esposito promised that the add will be removed. They removed the ad and then relisted the same ad , this just proves that their intent is to cheat the customer.This place is a pure scam that practices bait and switch. They advertise cars that they don't even have so the customer can come in, don't they are pure liars who hide by an excuse of ignorance. They have no business ethics whatsoever. Many of these reviews don't make it to be posted as management then insults the customer by offering gas money. Pure scammers 95%.

Look, if you like to haggle, go to a flea market. That's now where I get my kicks, so let's assume the dealership is a business and they will make money on the sale. And we wanted a new car, so it's already a scam (always bought used, but a lease can be a business tax deduction, or something)

I came prepared, ready to buy or lease the Santa Fe based on the sticker price, but counting on the dealer incentives, which are available now on '17 year-end cars. I had some idea on packages, but Julio was so nice to take me to see if this car would fit into my garage and driveway, and then we drove down to their overflow lot, by costco, to see the packages. I looked at the Night and the Sport, which I ended up driving back. It's like going apple picking for cars. 28k - and I took a trade in, for which Camille gave me what I expected, over 10k. I put half toward a lease, as Max explained, and will get half back, minus the leather seat install that they will do for me later. So, 10-3, and I drove off in my new car - they took care of the DMV and insurance transfers on the spot. All taxes and fees rolled into my lease/downpayment - I came out at $195/mo and can buy out the car for 15k in 3 years. Or I can NOT BUY IT - freedom! Couldn't be happier! If the price doesn't matter, what does? Service, I hope. They promised me some oil changes, car detailing, seems like they mean it. Seems also like if there are problems, they will solve them. They're right in my neighborhood, so reputations matter.

Oh, and it's been one day, and I'm loving the car!

This was the most enjoyable car purchasing experie...

This was the most enjoyable car purchasing experience I have ever had. I traveled from Staten Island to Bay Ridge, originally for the Costco best deal promise, yet I received far more. This dealership had the warmest welcome I've ever encountered when looking for a car that fit my budget. I was accompanied by my 3yr old son, my mother and my best friend, all of us were treated like family. While we went through the process of looking and pricing, to working numbers and setting up the final paperwork- the people at Bay Ridge Hyundai treated us as if it was there goal to make a guest comfortable.
As we all know, car shopping is a long process. The people at B.R.H made sure we had everything we (including a 3yr old) needed to be comfortable during this time. Our salesman Steve was awesome! He was with us every step of the way. So much so, as we arrived he greeted us and parked us safely before we even mentioned the word "purchase" or "lease."
Needless to say, this establishment is worth the time. The Costco rep. Camelle was beyond compare, she was absolutely beyond measure. Every member of their staff was smiling and welcoming. They went as far as to make sure we ate lunch, had water and iced coffee! I've never had such an awesome experience in my life. So thank you Bay Ridge Hyundai, you deserve it.

Bad customer service, wait time is too long due to the fact that one sales rep was doing most of the work managing different customers at one time. Manager gave me a excuse stating that they are backed up due to COVID-19. Apparently he didn t care much about the Covid 19 because he didn t have a mask on the whole time I was there. Recommend customer go to another dealer that can handle the customers with care. Any Hyundai dealer would have been a better experience. Would not recommend anyone to this dealer.

Sam the sales representative was very helpful, thorough and professional. He helped me with the purchase of my vehicle and made sure the process went smoothly. Also Max the Finance manager on site was very detailed. He broke down the price for me with so I could have a better understanding of where my money was going. Overall my experience was long but the friendly staff made it worth the wait. Happy with the choice I made.
